Would give more stars if I could. Easly the loveliest resort i have ever stayed at. My sister and i had a little bungalow with both an ocean and a pool view. Room was beautiful, roomy and with an amazing bathroom. The services and facilities were excellent, the staff wonderful. Would very happily return for another stay.

Ein wunderschönes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Lediglich die Lage etwas außerhalb von Huahin macht für jeden Stadtbesuch ein Taxi notwendig. Es gibt aber tagsüber ein Shuttlebus vom Hotel in die Stadt.

We had a very relaxing 15 nights here. The hotel and grounds are immaculate. All of the staff very friendly. Shout out to fone in the restaurant plus all the other ladies im sorry I can't remember all the names. All of them very attentive and couldn't do enough for you. The beach is huge yiu can walk for miles either left or right sometimes u didn't pass another person. Be careful to the right on the beach there are some small rocks in the water and unfortunately I cut my foot the first day. We stayed in a villa on the very front on the beach it was ok but i dont feel for the extra cost it was worth it. Some of the furniture was broken and there was no drawer space so unfortunately I had to live out of my case for some clothing. I found at night time I felt quite vulnerable being so close to the sea having said that the hotel is so peaceful and relaxing we booked to stay next year in the main building as the rooms there were more modern and better value. The breakfast is amazing not huge but enough. There is a shuttle bus which takes you into town as the hotel is quite far out of town. The last one is 6pm so you have to get a taxi back which wasn't an issue. The pool was very quiet sometimes I was the only person in the pool and the hotel was at full capacity. All in all a fabulous place.

We had a wonderful stay at Devasom Hua Hin Resort. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, the beachfront setting was beautiful, and everything felt very well-maintained. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff was warm and attentive throughout our stay. Most importantly, the overall experience truly felt worth the money spent.

Peaceful , clean and everyone is nice. Perfect service, perfect breakfast.

On the beach which was excellent - clean and beautiful The chalet was spacious and well cared for. Serviced well every day and staff met all anticipated expectations for us Staff were fabulous. Helpful beyond necessity. Fabulous breakfast

Very little. There was insufficient storage space for our things. Dinner in the restaurant was slow and only one voucher could be used each time

We stayed here for 10 nights in February. The hotel has a very 'old-fashioned' appreance, with lots of wood, exposed beams, creating a 'colonial' feel the the building. The grounds, although not large, are beautifully-kept with floral shrubs and ornamental ponds. Service throughout was excellent with staff keen to ensure an enjoyable stay. Food was first class, served with care and style, all of which adds to the ambience. Our room was nicely furnished, again in an 'older' style (not a criticism) with exposed timber floorboards and wood panelling on the walls. There were some elements which we did not enjoy however. One of which was the noisy air-conditioning. Fortunately, we were able to use the unit in the living room-area at night, and turn off the unit in the bedroom. Had we not done so, this would have been a serious annoyance. The other irritation (from our perspective) was the almost-constant 'background' music which was played throughout the hotel, including through speakers on the landings outside the rooms (and sometimes very early in the mornings). Worse, the music was often (not always) improvised or 'free' jazz (which is most-definitely not our taste). On a couple of oaccasions during the day, the staff turned it down/off for us, which we appreciated. I never understand hotels' obsession with background noise. This hotel is in a beautiful beach location, the wind blows through the trees in the garden and the gentle sounds of the fountains in the ponds are all perfect, natural and all anyone could ever need. Otherwise, we enjoyed a lovely stay in a hotel that has a distinct style and ambience. One final observation is that this is definitely NOT a hotel for children. The grounds are small, and the swimming/splash pools are very close to some of the rooms. During our visit, there were two families with (very-badly behaved) children who were annoying other guests (Obviously the parents did nothing). The staff did their best but we do understand it is difficult for them to 'chastise' guests. My suggestion would be that the hotel becomes 'adult-only' to which it is well-suited.

I liked everything, great room, big comfortable bed, amazing balcony, good beach, breathtaking sunrise. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful retreat, this is the place. You don't really need to leave the resort but it's a short grab ride into town if you need to do some shopping and a 7-11 is a 10min walk(one way).

Ideaal hotel voor mensen die van rust houden. Zeer kleinschalig, boutique hotel. Uitgebreid en lekker ontbijt, veel keuze voor lunch en diner. De tuin en het zwembad worden enorm goed onderhouden en het personeel probeert ervoor te zorgen dat je kan genieten van rust en comfort. De zonsopgang is hier goed te zien en het zwembad met zicht op zee en zitbanken in het water, zorgde ervoor dat wij helemaal konden ontspannen. Voldoende plaats op de ligbedden alsook mogelijkheden genoeg om in de zon/schaduw te liggen. Op de kamer hadden we alles wat we nodig hadden: huisslippers, strandslippers en kamerjassen, een strandtas die ook als rugzak kan gebruikt worden, voldoende drinkwater, koffie- en theefaciliteiten. Zeer groot en aangenaam bed. We boekten onze rit van Bangkok naar dit hotel en terug via het hotel zelf en waren hier ook enorm tevreden over.

Voor ons geen minpunten, maar zeker nuttige informatie voor sommige mensen: - Het hoofdgebouw met 2 verdiepingen heeft geen lift. Ook op het domein zijn er wel wat trapjes om op en af te gaan - je hoort in het hoofdgebouw 's avonds wel nog even de muziek en de fontein beneden. Alles wordt wel stil rond 22u - Aan het zwembad is er geen bar, maar wel een telefoon zodat je kan bellen om iets van drinken/eten te laten leveren aan je ligstoel - als je buiten het hotel wil gaan eten is het aan te raden een taxi te bestellen (of de aangeboden shuttle te gebruiken). Er is wel op wandelafstand een 7/11. Hua Hin strand is toch nog 20 minuten rijden ongeveer.

A wonderful, peaceful and very well managed property. The pool was beautiful, our villa was wonderful. Room for everyone on plenty of loungers. Peace and quiet. Staff were very professional and friendly.

Our second stay at Devasom Hua Hin Resort during the New Year period was absolutely wonderful. It remains one of our favorite destinations for a peaceful family getaway. The service here is consistently exceptional, every staff member we encountered was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. What made this trip truly special were the activities provided by the resort. My mother particularly loved the Sound Healing Meditation session, it was a deeply relaxing experience for her and a highlight of our stay. We had a fantastic time bonding as a family in such a beautiful setting. We are already looking forward to our third visit!

Our stay at Devasom Huahin felt like discovering a hidden treasure. The entire resort has such a nostalgic and intimate charm that sets it apart from larger chains. One of the most unforgettable sights was the heart-shaped tree on the property—it’s incredibly beautiful and creates such a romantic, picture-perfect atmosphere. Also feeling like Alice wonderland in Huahin due to magical sunset and timless architect the real highlight of our stay was the F&B experience. The quality of the food is extremely outstanding. We tried some traditional Huahin dishes, and the attention to detail in every plate was impressive. It truly kept our appetites stimulated throughout the meal! not to mention about kind manners and smile everywhere In particular, there was a dish that tasted very similar to Korean Galbi (braised short ribs). It was so delicious and savory that I ended up having two bowls of rice just to soak up all the flavors! If you appreciate fine dining and a peaceful, scenic getaway, Devasom is an absolute must-visit. It’s a place where every detail, from the landscape to the kitchen, is crafted with care."

Also we think that Hua Hin is not especially worth to visit this beautiful resort is. The villas are very comfortable and large. The pool and garden are calm and beautiful. The restaurant was nice but also quite pricy.

What a beautiful hotel right on the beach. We had a suite on the top floor. Please note no lift but the cottages round the pool are beautiful with own balcony. Try for the front one by the beach to get fabulous views of the beach and gardens

our seven night stay was so relaxing and a perfect getaway from the city. Staff are so kind and helpful and our room was huge with a lovely view of the ocean and pool and had everything we needed. Coffee at breakfast was great!

Voor een 5 sterren hotel vond ik wel dat het sanitair iets minder goed eruit kwam. Het was super schoon maar leidingen van de bidet sproeier zaten vol met kalk en zag er minder fris uit. Maar dit was ook echt het enige. Ik zou de volgende keer dit hotel opnieuw boeken!

Fabulous grown up boutique hotel right on the beach in north Hua Hin. The lobby and restaurant set the tone with a soft jazz and retro incidental music / lounge soundtrack. An excellent restaurant will keep you fed at lunch and dinner, with an extensive menu across a range of cuisines - Thai and European, but all done so well. Ice cold beer a bonus. Staff are attentive and helpful. Had the benefit of staying in both the main hotel suites, and beachside bungalows. The main house rooms were huge three room affairs with separate lounge, bathroom and bedroom with balcony offering superb ocean views and strong aircon. The beach bungalows were good, but consisted of just one large room bed sitting room and a smaller bathroom. My preference - take the suites in the main house, more character and style and better elevated views. Bonus is a vintage Mercedes that may take you places locally if you ask nicely. The grounds are kept immaculate with staff tending to them daily. Overall a great destination venue for 3-4 days stay and somewhere that requires no need to travel into town, as the restaurant (with both open air and air conditioned interior seating) has you covered.

Hotel où nous séjournions pour la deuxième fois , rien à dire tout était positif , Accueil , petit Hotel plein de charme et cocoon , Restauration excellente , donne directement sur la plage , personnel à l'écoute .

La seule chose qui pourrait être améliorée c'est la Wi-Fi qui était un peu juste pour regarder des films par exemple , la télévision qui pourrait être réglée sur la chaine qui correspondrait à la nationalité du client , mais ce ne serait qu'un plus .

All the ratings for this place ring true, fantastic service and super rooms set by the beach with a colonial feel and very intimate. Food is excellent especially the breakfasts. Can’t fault it at all and very reasonable pricing for the quality of accommodation and service. We highly recommend!!

Amazing resort with beautiful location and great food

Excellent relaxing stay at Devasom. We stayed in villa 1 which was at the front steps away from beach. It was bliss. Rooms are just perfect with lovely rocking chairs on balcony and day bed at side. But what makes this hotel extra special is the staff and the chefs. The food was amazing. Massive menu which we had lunch from everyday and everyday we had something different but was always exceptional. We also ate dinner a few times and again fantastic. The grounds are beautiful and very unique. Absolutely spotless. Just book do not hesitate you will certainly not regret it. 5 stars plus! Thank you all so much for making our stay exceptional.

The owner of this hotel clearly had a vision, and they achieved it. A true oasis of calm and elegance, with beautiful details, from the flowers dotted around the building to the jazz music quietly playing in the hallways. It is a beautifully understated and charming hotel, perfect for getting away from mainstream tourism. Great restaurant serving fresh meals all day. A wonderful swimming pool and beach access. We were so comfortable that we did not feel the need to leave the resort except for short walks along the beach. Truly a wonderful stay.

Decoration - exterior and interior were spectacular. Very focused on being contemporary vintage and they pulled it off nicely. Attention to details around the room and bathroom were superb. Very photogenic as well. Excellent staff-receptionists and restaurant’s all great.

By being aesthetically pleasing, some small items were showing signs of wear and tear. Bathroom’s door’s hinge kept falling off as well as wash basin’s reverse direction for water hose was a touch unnatural. Small points though.

This was such a lovely place to stay. We chose to splash out on one of the front chalets, we had No1 - and so glad we did. There is nothing better than falling asleep to the sound of the waves, and being able to walk oit almost straight to the beach and the sunbeds, as well as the veranda chairs we also had the double sunbed. It was so special. The room was very tastefully decorated, plenty of storage, a good shower. As others have said, such a good idea to provide snacks and soft drinks in the fridge; the cost would be low but it means there is no stress about lunch. The breakfast is extensive, huge variety and for sure there should be something for everyone in the right quantity. We only ventured off-site once as we were so happy to relax, and the dinner menu again has so much variety you wouldn't get bored. The staff are wonderful and always ready to help and provide superior service, anything we needed! Even the phone by the pool on which we could have drinks delivered, added to the feeling of a very very special place. The size of the hotel makes it feel for intimate too

Schon beim Betreten spürt man die wohlige Atmosphäre, die zum sofortigen Abschalten einlädt. Bequeme Betten, sehr guter Frühstück! Die Auswahl war nicht nur reichhaltig, sondern auch von herausragender Qualität, sehr gute Kaffee. Was diesen Aufenthalt jedoch unvergesslich macht, ist der Service. Ich habe in meinem Leben noch nie eine derartige Gastfreundschaft erlebt. Die Mitarbeiter kümmern sich mit so viel Herz und Engagement um die Gäste, dass man sich sehr wertgeschätzt fühlt. Man spürt, dass es ihnen eine Herzensangelegenheit ist, den Gästen den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten.

Rooms are comfortable and kept immaculately clean, delicious food (we had breakfast, lunch and evening meal), staff are superb and can not do enough for you and the pool area is kept in great condition. We are lucky enough to have travelled a lot and the Devasom is top of our list of places we have stayed. All around excellent.

This hotel is fantastic - the rooms are as good as I have ever stayed in. The staff are incredible - attentive and hardworking. The location on the beach is unreal. The food is great quality - breakfast dinner and lunch. It is just outside of Hua Hin which is offset by the great shuttle service - we went most evenings to Hua Hin - but we spent all day at the hotel.

We stayed here for an idyllic 12 days . We were greeted by the front of house staff and were given a lovely cold drink and towel, which after a two and a half hr drive from Bangkok was much needed. The girls on the front desk were very helpful, and we were taken up to our suite straight away. We stayed in a seaside suite number 31. It was totally wonderful. A separate living room fab bathroom with rolltop bath and separate shower. The view from our balcony was stunning. It's a stunning small luxury resort. It's very personal, and it's never crowded and very peaceful . The pool area is beautifully laid out with some natural shade under the lovely big tree. They have lovely rocking chairs and tables dotted around, which is so cute. The dining room is small but perfectly formed. A fabulous breakfast is served with a good choice of the usual things and some freshly cooked items too. The staff are so friendly, always smiling, and will get you all you need. After day two, they knew every morning that I liked a pot of hot water, and it was always there. The food of an evening was very tasty and we ate they several times. Madam, who owns the hotel, walks around every morning asking how you are. Is there anything you needed, which was a lovely touch. I won't pick out any staff individually as they were all fabulous from reception right through to the gardeners who brought us clean beach towels every day. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a quiet peaceful holiday where you're made to feel like part of the family. We will definitely go back again. We were waved off by the staff and given some lovely little gifts when we left which just finished of such a perfect holiday Thank you everyone

Authentic Thai luxurious Resort. Well maintained Resort with super friendly staffs. One of the best place for retreat and relax by the sea front and under the romantic moonlight. Room and villa are really nice. Lovely for the peaceful retreat. They also provide superb Thai food with Authentic Phetchaburi cuisine. Breakfast is one of the best, in term of the quality of the ingredients mix with local choices of street food market like grilled pork, and Thai dessert. Really impressed and will come back.

A quiet, lovely place built for vacation. Not many people which we can truly relax and enjoy the facilities, and the friendly staff made our stay even more enjoyable.

We love everything about this place. The villas are lovely. The pool is divine. The views are gorgeous. The staff are so friendly and helpful and very welcoming. The owner loved to come a chat with people at breakfast time.

If you consider visiting the Devasom Hua Hin Resort, don´think twice. I have spent three nights at the resort and cannot praise this place enough. If you are looking for peace, beauty and harmony: Devasom. What i would like to highlight: it´s a small boutique resort, with most beautifully designed, spacious rooms. What you will rarely find, you will find here: there are flowers in the room!!! and a sea of flowers all over the garden, which adds so much to the overall wonderful, charming and serene atmosphere. The hotel follows a sustainability driven concept and offers yoga classes. Breakfast ist amazing and rich in variety and quality, as was their afternoon tea. You have complimentary snacks and drinks. While Devasom is located outside of HuaHin, it is located directly to the beach offering a comfortable shuttle service to Hua Hin three times a day. The team assisted me in arranging a trip to the Phraya Nakhon Cave and a great massage at my room. The staff at the resort is very attentative, wonderfully charming and passionate about their work. My warmest regards go to Ms. Atirak and her team for the very warm and kind attention i have recieved during my stay. All the very best, HM

This was my second visit to this hotel and it will not be the last, I travelled with 6 other people and to say we did not want to leave was an understatement. This please really is a little slice of heaven. We all stayed in the partial Seaview rooms, they were spacious spotless and very comfortable, every detail had been thought of. The staff were just brilliant, very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent, the choice was great and everything was very fresh as was the food in the restaurant. All in all a brilliant stay and i cannot recommend this place highly enough.

The location and ambience at this small niche hotel was excellent. Pool Area: Pool towels were difficult to locate initially, and the sun lounges could benefit from updated or thicker mattresses for added comfort. A handrail would also be helpful, as the pool entrance was quite slippery. Additionally, poolside service would be a welcome addition, not only for convenience but also as an opportunity to increase revenue. Room & Amenities: The room provided everything I required for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable and the linen was exceptionally soft to the touch. The air conditioner, perhaps due to its size was a little noisy however it was something I did not notice over time. The outside deck with the day bed and rocking chairs was a lovely added touch albeit not private due to the neighbouring villa. The mini bar selection was limited, and it would be great to see some healthier options, such as fresh fruit. More coffee pods and fresh milk in the room would be appreciated. A comfortable chair for watching TV would also enhance the in-room experience. Dining Experience: Breakfast was enjoyable, though adding baked beans and roasted tomatoes could further enhance the offering. Peanut butter or another savoury spread would also be a nice addition. Service during dinner felt somewhat rushed—after finishing entrées, plates were cleared without any offer of a menu or additional drinks. Pre dinner crackers were provided only once at dinner, which seemed inconsistent. Service was hit and miss; on some occasions they were incredibly attentive whilst on other occasions you had to look for staff. General Improvements: A notice in the room with shuttle times and activity schedules would be helpful. Having more regular shuttle runs would be beneficial so that you don't have to wait in town for 4 hours to return back to the hotel. The Breville coffee machine in the dining area was not switched on and ready which was disappointing as this machine can make a better coffee than the other automatic machines at breakfast and does require at least 30 minuts to warm up. I am also not convinced staff know how to use the Breville machine and may require further training. Bench space in the bathroom was limited, making it difficult to place personal items. Some additional waterproof covers for the daybed would be beneficial as when it rains the mattress get saturated and it takes time to dry. Salt and pepper should be checked when laying tables to ensure they are adequately stocked. Despite these minor issues, I appreciated the excellent quality of the linens and the complimentary cocktail, which was a nice touch. Providing an option for a fresh baguette or sandwich at lunch could be a thoughtful addition, considering bread is already served. I was very grateful for the gift on my departure and to the reception staff who were very friendly and helpful. With a few refinements, this hotel could provide an even more exceptional guest experience.

I had the ‘Phetchaburi Journey’ set menu, which showcased local ingredients from Phetchaburi province. We’ve just spent a glorious 5 nights and 4 days here! The staff, the rooms, the grounds, the meals were all great! My father is a little unsteady on his feet and walks with a walking stick, and found it very easy to get around the hotel and use the pool! It’s a really friendly and intimate hotel. There is generally a really lovely vibe! Thank you, thank you for having us. Can’t wait to come back!

Food could be a bit better

Very nice and small resort (only 24 rooms/villas). Very clean. Very comfortable. It still did not get a 5 star rating from me because something is missing - the lack of warmth. For a small and luxury resort, I would have expected the staff to go further in ensuring that each and every guest is "pampered". They are efficient. But not 100% helpful. When asked whether the kitchen can do a specific dish the next day, the response was we do not have the ingredients. Surely they can obtain those ingredients the next day and prepare the dish for the guests if they so want. These are ingredients readily available in Hua Hin. When asked whether I could have a late check out, the immediate response was that someone will move into my room the next day. Even though the booking system shows that my room type is available on the next day when I check out. I would have expected the staff to check the system to see whether my requests could be accommodated by "moving" the guests around. IF not, it is perfectly ok, but please check first. It is these tiny "miss" that did not make me feel that the staff want to go the extra mile. If they try harder, this hotel will truly be 5 stars. I will just add that the only staff who impressed me were the cleaners and the driver who drove us to and from the hotel to the clock tower.

The best place to rest and relax. Nice staffs. Good food. Relax atmosphere.I always hope to come back to Devasom as much as possible. You will have peaceful happy feeling just striding around the hotel area Ang the beach. Idly sitting by the pool reading is the happy experience

Style and character. Huge bedroom (signature suite) extremely comfortable. Small exquisite details and touches in the rooms not had anywhere else in Thailand e.g. rose petals for bathing! Luxury robes! We had the pleasure of talking to the owner and learning about the hotel history. Staff all lovely and attentive! Loved our stay here!!

Having to leave

If "the hot water takes a little time to come through" is the ONLY negative you can say about a hotel, you know you've hit the jackpot. A truly wonderful oasis of excellent service, stunning location, and amazing staff. From the second I stepped out of my Bangkok taxi to the last interaction, every member of staff and department were exceptional. The room was very large, with great views of the beautifully kept grounds and the sea beyond. The food was excellent too, and very reasonably priced for the quality and variety. Breakfast options were vast and varied, from traditional Thai to international. Service was excellent, as standard. The free complimentary mini bar of soft drinks and snacks was re-stocked daily and over-stocked with anything I mentioned as a favourite item. I didn't even need to ask. I casually mentioned to a member of reception that I'd previously had skin cancer on the top of my head... and every day, without fail or request, a chair was delivered to my sunbed for me to sit in the shade, if needed. Simply exceptional service and thoughtfulness. I stayed for 12 nights, and the hotel and staff didn't put a foot wrong. I've been blessed to have travelled extensively and globally, and this boutique, twenty-four room privately owned oasis is as close to perfection as any hotel I've stayed at. If you only ever stay at one hotel, this is the one.

This hotel is exceptional. We spent a month in Thailand and stayed in 11 hotels. This one was our favourite. We are just sorry we only spent 3 nights here.. On arrival you can tell this hotel is going to be special. The open reception with the stunning view across the lawn, pool and the sea just speaks for itself. The hotel is maintained to very high standards and has a British Colonial style to it. It is just perfect. The staff are all lovely, very helpful and just make you feel at home. Loved the way the breakfast is set out, almost like an afternoon tea vibe. The evening complimentary cocktail on the rocking chairs on the lawn is such a lovely touch. We ate dinner in the hotel and Jack gave us excellent service. The food was lovely. We had 2 rooms on the third floor of the main building. The rooms are beautiful with huge comfortable beds, an open bathroom (doors to close if you wish) and stunning views. The little villas that sit either side of the pool also looked beautiful. The hotel is a little out of town but runs a shuttle bus into the town a few times a day, which is good. We got a taxi back for 250/300 tbh. There is a 7/11 along the road which is handy also and a few local restaurants/bars along the beach. Highly recommend this hotel and hope to be back soon :)
