InterContinental Suzhou Hotel by IHG

The mattress is very firm.

Location

The mattress is very firm.

Great location, lovely walk along the lake nearby, loads of shopping nearby, loads of cafes and restaurants. Staff are friendly, polite and welcoming. Any issues faced were swiftly and professionally resolved. Breakfast staff are good, they remember your room number, prepare any special requests for you without prompt. Breakfast quality is good. Plenty of vegan-friendly options, but not well labelled. Room has an amazing view, very clean, high quality throughout. Cleaning staff are very good. Good soundproofing. Quiet.

Most staff are not confident speaking any English, considering it is an international hotel. Aircon in the rooms really needs replacing. Downstairs restaurant quality is mediocre.

Location, staff

The pillows were not very comfortable

All was good, especially breakfast which I didn’t expect!

-

Great service, nice lake view and perfect location

The breakfast was not that good

All round excellent

Nothing

Excellent room size

Not too much cafes and restaurants nearby

Lris at the concierge was so beyond helpful for all our needs as we checked in and planned our trip. The gym was complete and big, overall the property was clean and very spacious.

I wish the mall was attached to the hotel

High floor view very spectacular and room facilities are new and good. Dinner at the Chinese Restaurant really satisfying.

Close to the lake, clean room with high standard.

Nothing

Great location for holiday.

Nothing

Excellent location, with view on the lake. Very spacious room. The breakfast is simply excellent.

Cleaning staff was extremely friendly. Wrote personal notes to let me know what had been cleaned etc. Location was great especially if your room is facing the Jinji lake.

A bit far from places of interest

Big and clean room. comfortable beds. The best part is the location -- a short walk are restaurants, a retail building, and a bridge with view of the lake. Also, the wifi works! We could connect to it.

Perfect location, near big mall

Nothing

The hotel is in a great location; there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby and sight-seeing of the river. The room was clean and big and had a beautiful view of the Suzhou skyline and river. Breakfast had a variety of food. What I loved best was that the wifi actually worked. I've stayed in other 5-star hotels in China but the wi-fi was either so slow or as a foreigner, I couldn't access it, even if the hotel provided "free wifi." Intercon Suzhou was the first hotel I've stayed in where the wifi worked properly and as promised.

Good location and great views of Jinji Lake.

None

Spacious, beautiful, great location

Nice view of the riverside

We enjoyed the stay.

Nada a apontar.

Good location and view

Breakfast not tasty

Fantastic hotel. Wonderful service and great location.

the Jinji lake from the window

great location, clean room, friendly staff

The breakfast was great. The stuff and management were great, solving problems with efficiency and courtesy. Overall, I would go back again if I were in Suzhou again.

Excellent breakfast selection Nice and quiet room with great lake view Friendly staff and services

Nothing

Great breakfast and nice view from the room

Perfect location , large room and very good amenities …

25 m pool . Able to continually swim training . Clean pool. Well done maintenance and cleaning crew

Far from old town . Suggestion - Hotel to Consider operating a free shuttle bus between. Intercontinental and old town and the Classical Chinese gardens . That would round off a perfect stay at the intercontinental.

Super hotel great food and location, staff was great, room absolutely beautiful

Nothing

Nice lake view, the room is clean, the bed is so big, room service is good.

Extremely friendly and helpful. I arrived 4 hours early from a 10 hr Australian flight and I was checked in to my room immediately. Thank you concierge Phil and Nacy at the desk. Very high standard hotel *****

Great location with fabulous view from my room. Upgraded to a suite. They also checked me in within my room. Great service and very friendly.

Bit pricey.

Fantastic lakeside hotel with lake view room; Handy to interesting locations

Beautiful lake view, convenient location, excellent perks come with the best room.

Nothing really.

it just felt very comfortable.

The staff was just not entirely professional. Taking extra time and care to white foreigners.

the lake view is amazing, breakfast is fabulous with lots of choice

Located in the new industry district with new streets and modern facilities. Closed to shopping area and the huge bookstore. Breath taking view from the room with automatic toilet. Highly recommended.

Getting older and not as good as before. Breakfast was great specially the noodle. Restaurant and public area staff are friendly and helpful.

Great location. With impressive lake view, convenient location to convention center & easy access to tourist sights. Hotel is clean & well maintained. Service is excellent. Will recommend to friends.

The view from our room was very nice, and the room itself was clean and comfortable. However, the staff at check in wasn’t very friendly, nor was he very helpful. The staffs at the concierge were much more friendly and helpful!

Nice, polite and professional service staff, rooms are comfort with great lake view.

Excellent stay. Will be back again. This is my 2nd visit

Good service, good location the steake restaurants was at a good level.

Nice Staff & Free Upgrade
