The motel is really close to the pools. The bed was comfortable and the kitchenette had everything we needed. Plus, it was great having towels for the pools.

Such a beautiful place to stay in Hanmer! The location is perfect—it's just a short walk to the main street, making it so easy to explore the shops, cafés, restaurants, and everything else Hanmer has to offer. This was our second time staying here, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. The accommodation is always clean, comfortable, and has everything we need for a relaxing getaway. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always happy to help and making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We absolutely love staying here and can't recommend it highly enough. We'll definitely be back again for another visit!

We had an amazing 4-night stay at Settler Boutique Motel and couldn’t recommend it more highly. Sue was absolutely delightful, so friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and she really made us feel welcome. The room was spotless and had everything you could possibly need, from tea, coffee and hot chocolate to robes, toiletries, plenty of towels, a comfy bed and a Smart TV. The little extras like free laundry facilities and towels for the hot pools were such a thoughtful touch. The location is perfect too, just a 5-minute walk to the hot pools, restaurants, pubs, mini golf, animal park and the township. We came home feeling refreshed and rejuvenated after a fantastic few days away. We’ll definitely be recommending Settler Boutique Motel to our friends and family!

Great location being so close to town and eveything we needed very comfy beds and great water pressure, the staff are very accommodating.

Heat pump a bit under-rated or not on long enough before arrival. Lots of furniture in small room. Maybe too cosy.

The unit was the cleanest i have ever stayed in. It was very well maintained with a lot of extra little touches that made it feel like home. The staff were very friendly and even a hand written note from the staff that serviced the room wishing us a nice stay.

Fantastic place to stay. Walking distance to most everything. So clean and quiet. We had unit 3 a one bedroom unit with separate lounge kitchen and bathroom with a cute private courtyard. There was nothing more we could of asked for.

One only comment re safety in the bathroom : we are not using spa, we are using showers only. To prevent potential accidents, holder above the spa is needed. It was a bit stressful to get to huge spa and get under shower without holding to any support.

Beautiful room with everything we needed, close to everything and lovely and quiet. Staff were super friendly, Ned and pillows were so comfy we spelt for 11hrs our first night!

Beautifully appointed room with super comfy beds , we loved the chocolates on the bed, a nice touch . We were in an upstairs room with a balcony, having cooking facilities was great so we could eat on our balcony with a drink . The owner was so lovely and accommodating x

This was such a beautiful location, in the heart of the town walking distance to cafe and restaurants. The beds were comfy and the host was excellent, she even helped out when I had car trouble. I will be back again soon. The accommodation made the whole trip so wonderful 😍 *****thank you!

The unit we had was 5* it had everything you would want in a motel including excellent appliances & even a roll of glad wrap & bandaids in the bathroom. Having just been to Millbrook in Arrowtown this place compared equally. Free washer & dryer facilities, towels for the nearby hot pools & very comfortable bed. Thank you so much 🥰

Not enough room here to say all the nice things about Settlers. Would recommend to all, that this motel will take care of helping with your stay, they were very helpful at all turns. Being able to take their pool towels to the hot springs, using their washer and dryer, the fresh milk in the fridge. Ella was just great! They made our stay memorable and would definitely stay at Settlers again.

Typical motel room but with comfy settee. We've been travelling for 7 weeks and this is not that common. Bathroom and kitchenette with everything you might need to cook etc. free washer too, again not that common.
