Very good facility, nice and quiet and walking distance to town and pools

The delightful cottage was ideal for our stay. The host was friendly and helpful and the central location was only a short walk to the pools and restaurants.

Location was excellent, very central to the hot springs. Garden was fabulous (though it was wet so didn’t have chance to use it) Parking was easy Spacious bathroom with warmed floor and towel heater Very friendly hosts

Was a bit dark inside

The location was excellent with just a short walk to the hot pools, shops and restaurants etc. the room was large, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Marie was an excellent host and made us feel very welcome.

Highly recommended. Friendly and courteous host, beautiful garden, modern, private and comfortable room with very nice decor.

Very close to everything in Hanmer

The location was perfect. Central within Hanmer. The property itself is running, with beautiful gardens, a private seating area for the external rooms situated toward the rear of the gardens.

Les propriétaires ont aussi un superbe accueil, bref, une superbe expérience dans un endroit calme et confortable! Tout est à proximité, vous pourrez marcher pour aller aux bains puis pour aller manger, vraiment bien situé 😎!

Marie and her husband made us very welcome, it was great to be able to take our dog and be so close to the Springs.

Marie and Len are wonderfully warm and helpful hosts. Beautiful grounds and gardens - a peaceful haven in the middle of Hanmer only 5 minutes walk from shops, cafes and hot pools. Our Garden facing room was stylish cosy, spacious and very comfortable - perfect for our short mid winter stay. Great to have such lovely accomodation that welcomes our small dog too. We look forward to returning soon.

Stayed in one of the garden cottages. very warm, quiet and comfortable. Short walk to eateries and the pools. Our lovely hostess provided towels to take to the pools. Outdoor area lovely for morning coffee. Off street parking easy to access and right next to the cottage.

Wonderful situation, beautifully presented, our fault didn’t realize no knives forks etc so couldn’t really eat in. I think discouraged. We travelled around south island for nearly 3 weeks this was our dearest accommodation, and believe it’s because of the location. Kaikora, Cromwell, Christchurch were just as well presented but much cheaper. Having said this right in town near restaurant ‘s and pool .

The location was perfect -- a very short walk (a block) to restaurants and shops in this lovely small town with many things to do: mountain biking, hikes, spa, thermal baths (with great water rides), and more. Our guest cabin was behind the owner's home, but with privacy, fresh air, parking and helpful advice if needed.

It is a pleasant vintage house, pity we were in a chalet in the garden. It wasn't far to walk to the spa pools.

The advertising. It is clearly advertised as a bed and breakfast, but does not provide breakfast. The Booking.com description mentions bed and breakfast four times. Even the board outside announces 'breakfast served in suites'. On arrival, we were told to go and buy it from a local restaurant. Had we known that breakfast was not provided, we would have gone elsewhere - especially at the price we paid. It was expensive for what it provided and seems to be living on its previous reputation.

This is the perfect stay for your Hamner Springs getaway. Large, comfortable, clean room on a beautiful piece of property. Walking distance to everything. The owners are so kind and friendly. We were so happy with our choice to stay here and would definitely stay here again if we returned. Do not hesitate, this place is simply perfect.

Host was brilliant with telling us everything and things to do during our one night stay. Very friendly and just such a nice person.

Hosts were able to allow us to book in when we needed as had spa booked even though they would not be there until later. Underfloor heating, dressing gowns we were able to use. Very close to the shops and experiences we had booked.

Lovely, cozy cottage & beautiful gardens. Enjoyed our short stay with our foxy, Buddy. Will definitely return for a longer stay!

A very warm welcome. Ideally situated. Marie was very knowledgable and gave us good tips on local attractions and places to eat. She was on hand if needed but allowed us privacy .

Great location. Fabulous shower, comfortable bed. The grounds are gorgeous and secure for my dog, she loved it too. We were warmly welcomed and the whole experience was exceptional given that it’s so very hard in New Zealand to find somewhere beautiful to stay with a dog. Will definitely return. Highly recommended.

A small space to make breakfast - with a toaster perhaps? I prefer a larger cup for my morning drink.

We had a comfortable, warm and a very pleasant three nights in the studio, with the owners being very helpful. We had to leave early for the ferry and unfortunately didn't have a chance to say thanks to them or fatewell. A very central place to stay in a lovely garden.
