The room was large, beautiful, and with all amenities. The food was excellent as always. Parking is close to the room and the gardens are neat.

It is not acceptable to only have access to a substantially reduced number of DSTV channels. The TV is too old to allow internet access. The inlet and outlet to the bath were broken - this requires basic maintenance.

We came here to celebrate a birthday. We had a perfect dinner. The expansive room was faultless. The service friendly and courteous.

Our stay at Oliver's was absolutely amazing, the place is absolutely beautiful, beautiful gardens, clean and warm rooms. the staff was friendly, paid attention to detail and the food was delicious. As someone who suffers many food allergies, I explained to them my allergies and they took extra precausion with my food orders. I wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the place more. We will definitely make another trip to Mpumalanga and our first-choice accommodation is Oliver's Thank you to everyone who made our stay amazing.

Great place to stay and the rooms are fantastic. Inside and outside showers with great pressure and hot water. Very clean. Meals were of a top quality and we only ventured out to play golf on the adjoining course. We certainly would go back and stay there

What a wonderful stay! I had the pleasure of using Oliver’s as the setting for my son’s matric dance photos, and it was absolutely perfect. The surroundings are beautiful, creating the ideal backdrop for such a special occasion. The staff were exceptional—warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. We Stayed 3 nights at Olivers and this place is at the top of its game. The property itself is absolutely immaculate. The team of gardeners keep every blade of grass in its place. Breakfast is very well done as instead of having a buffet with all the waste that goes with it, You make your way through a series of a la carte dishes. Choosing as much or as little as you want. We had dinner here twice, both the service and food was excellent with a stunning view into the gardens. I understand there is a lot of competition in the White River area. But if you are undecided on where you should say I can highly recommend Olivers, you will not be disappointed !

It is quiet, well organized and excellent service. The breakfast was also great. The garden was beautiful and I enjoyed walking around it.

There were limited channels on TV. We ended up watching Lesotho TV.

Olivers is supposed to be the best but also the most expensive place in the area of white River. And it is living up to it. Situated on the border of a Golf Course with the ambient every golf course is creating. But the Garden of Oliver’s beats even the appearance of the surrounding itself. Simply perfect kept. The whole Hotel creates a cozy feeling. A place you like to stay. Everything on the premises is well kept and of course very clean. Any Service you ask for is will be provided with joy. At least that is the impression we had. Now o the Restaurant. Spacious, elegant cared with love makes you feel welcome. The Service is excellent, kind, respectful, but also a sense of humor. We liked that very much. The kitchen second to none. The best beef tenderloin I ever had in my long live and on all the numerous trips thru the world. The prices very reasonable. Congratulations to the whole staff and to the Management that all do an excellent job. Thanks to all of you that made us a beautiful stay in white River.

My favourite place to stay in White River. The rooms and facilities are comfortable, clean and quality. The restaurant is tops ! They are very central and to explore the region.

The meals, both dinner and Breakfast were excellent. the Dining room staff were very good. The rooms and facilities were excellent!

The bins in the bedroom were not emptied on a daily basis. One evening my wife discovered that the turn down staff had looked through her handbag. Fortunately, all valuables were locked in the safe. The road noise in the mornings was not pleasant! One morning there was lipstick residue on the side of the coffee cup.

We have rarely experienced such a great, exceptional and attentive team in a hotel and restaurant. Nothing is missing and you feel at home. Golf fans will love the 18-hole golf course adjacent to the hotel. Tanja and her team are a well-rehearsed professional team. Breakfast and dinner were of high quality and very tasty. We were there for 6 days. The swimming pool and loungers were also very pleasant. Worth recommending.

A great Place to enjoy, relaxe with wonderful people to look after you. Ontop of it a excellent kitchen, a nice garden next to the Golfclub and all this at a very fair rate just 1 Hour away from Kruger National Park.

The staff was so friendly and they literally had a golf Buggy brought to our garden for our tee time at white river, which was a fun course to play. Amazing restaurant. Overall a great experience and we would love to come back.

Celebrating my 60th birthday at Oliver's was a dream come true. From the moment we arrived, we were embraced by warmth and friendliness, setting the tone for a truly unforgettable experience. The room we were treated to was a masterpiece, offering a breathtaking view and unparalleled comfort. The bed was the most comfortable I've been slept in, and the bathroom was pure luxury. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to make us feel special. The food. Absolutely divine. Each meal was a culinary delight set against a beautiful ambiance, with lush, spectacular gardens creating the perfect backdrop As avid golfers, we were thrilled that Oliver's seamlessly arranged our booking at Leopard's Creek, making it a hassle-free experience. Leaving Oliver's was bittersweet but we left feeling completely rejuvenated and deeply cherished.

Olivers. Lovely place, there is a gold course here if you play. We only stayed overnight ready for a transfer. This was booked by my agent. Room was nice, nice pool, grounds were lovely. The owner said hello briefly. Restaurant was nice. Breakfast was fruit/cereal/juice/tea/coffee and eggs cooked if you wanted. (I would like to see water available as well as everywhere else we have been it was included but here we got charged for it and as i don't drink tea/coffe that would have been nice.)

Location perfect Breakfast was normal, I appreciate the extra effort the staff put to make my family especially my kids comfortable.

The carpet was a bit smelly when we checked in, but guess what? The smell was gone the next day. The gardener watering plants every morning close to our bedroom was a bit uncomfortable for me cause I enjoyed opening the sliding door to let fresh air in, since it was hot I could barely stay dressed. 🙃

We chose Oliver’s as a place to relax following a busy few days on safari. Our spacious top floor room overlooking the pool and golf course was fabulous. I enjoyed time sitting in the window seat with a book. We played two rounds of golf and had a couple of spa treatments, everyone very helpful. The food was excellent (the pulled pork risotto especially good) and Neville and all the team looked after us extremely well. Thank you all.

Had the pleasure of staying in Olivers for a couple of nights, having returned to White River for the first time in almost 30 years. The staff are wonderful and friendly, the accommodation and amenities are top notch, and the food is superb. Cannot fault the place: a home away from home. I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Oliver's Country Estate on the stunning White River Golf Course for a whirlwind business trip. From the moment we pulled up, the friendly staff whisked our bags away and welcomed us with open arms. We'd pre-booked a much-needed foot and leg massage after our long drive from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. Let me tell you, those masseuses worked magic! I was utterly relaxed and ready to conquer the days ahead. The food was simply divine! From the hearty breakfast spread to the delectable small plates, every meal was a feast for the senses. The pork belly and gorgonzola soufflé were absolute showstoppers! Our room was beautifully appointed, clean, and exuded classic country charm. Oliver's Country Estate truly embodies warmth, friendliness, and exceptional service. They go above and beyond to make you feel right at home. I can't recommend this gem highly enough!

Olivers is such an amazing Lodge, after a long drive friom Limpopo, we stayed for a night at olivers before heading to Sabi Sands Nature reserve. It was such a wonderful calming and rejuvinating stay. Upon arrival we checked in and I headed to my Spa treatment, Ohhhhhh it was amazing indeed. The walk in the garden and Golf course was amazing, i even took off my shoes and walked bare footed. After refreshing we had dinner at the main lounge, the food is great, staff members very friendly we felt well taken care of and special. Highly reccomended.

Thought we’d add a little luxury to the end of our trip around Highveld and the Kruger. Beautiful spot and hits all the excellent notes. Nothing’s too much trouble and an allround great choice! Sits alongside 1st green of White River Country Club which is well worth a knock.

Being mid winter we imagined sitting in front of the fire sipping sherry. The sherry was provided but we could not light the gas fire. We were told the fire was only lit at 5pm and the cost is R350. We were shocked but agreed. However the fire remained unlit the entire visit. The fire was also not provided in the dining room even after enquiring. This pettiness was offputing of a potentially lovely stay. We will not be back.

Oliver’s is outstanding in every way. Convenient to the airport and the Numbi Gate of Kruger National Park, my family had a most memorable stay at Oliver’s. The facility, property layout, service, and hospitality were unmatched. The food was simply astounding and the chef always accommodated my son’s food allergies to make sure he also had an enjoyable meal. If restaurants receive five stars as the highest rating, I would give Oliver’s at least 6! I travel for business often in Africa from the US, but this was my first time taking my family for vacation. Yes, it’s a long way from home, but the service and food at Oliver’s made the journey well worth it. In addition, they kindly arranged transportation for us from and to the airport and also connected us to top notch safari and tour guides. I cannot say enough great things about our experience at Oliver’s!!! Congratulations and thanks to the proprietor for a first rate operation.

Hospitality at it's best, all staff are ready to make you feel at home. Rooms are big and very comfortable, the venue is outstanding and if you enjoy golf this is the place to be. If not, the spa and restaurant are amazing.

Our air-conditioner was a bit noisy.

The accommodation and the clanliness are excellent. The beds are large and comfortable.

The staff that served our breakfast was unfriendly and unapproachable, and the lady wouldn't greet us. The geyser in our unit was turned off, and we couldn't shower in the evening during our stay. The receptionist had an unwilling attitude towards us when reporting issues and making requests for our unit. She would always use the term "I don't wanna promise anything" whenever we would request for service.

Zoals bijna elk jaar beginnen we onze Krugerparkreis 2 nachten in Oliver’s. Heerlijk relaxed, mooi restaurant em super vriendelijk personeel. Ook zijn er in de buurt meedere lekkere restaurants gekomen. Ze hebben een mooie tuin, waar je op de green van hole 1 kijkt. Leuke 18holes golfbaan dus er vlakblij

Some friends told us about Olivers before we went on our journey to South Africa. We had three wonderful days at Olivers, and enjoyed every minute. This place has a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They made us feel welcome and comfortable. The food is delicate and very well tasting. The rooms are spacious and nice. The location is quiet and feels safe. We simply fell in love and really hope to come back to this wonderful place. We will recommend Olivers to all our friends.

Das Haus ist bestens von Tanja (aus Österreich) geführt. Die Luxury Zimmer sind äusserst geräumig, es fehlt an nichts. Das Bad ist gross, und man findet endlich mal eine Dusche mit ausreichend Platz und bestens funktionierenden Armaturen und sehr angenehmen Pfelegeprodukten. Das Restaurant serviert Gourmetküche und der Service ist sehr aufmerksam. Sauberkeit und excellenter Service ist der Stil des Hauses. Für Golfer sehr angenehm: ein 18 Loch Platz direkt hinter dem Haus. Insgesamt mindestens 4 Sterne + + Wir kommen wieder!

I visted this hotel with my wife for a weekend away. The location is good for golfers - there is a nice golf course. We are novices in golf, still learning. For that, it was a disappointment that there wa not a drive range there. But they had a training area, where we practiced some chirping and putting. We also went for a ride for some of the scenery attractions. Unfortunately the weather was at its worst in the last days and we couldn't see al we wanted - too foggy. But it was within the reach of several nice scenic routes and places. A bit too far for a one day trip to the Blyde River Canyon. You may consider closer alternatives. But, as a place for relaxing, it is cozy and the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing. We didn't try the spa, but friends had recommended it to us. Maybe some other time. The restaurant, also recommended by the same firends, is a good one but not the best (3.5-4 of 5, I would say). The service is very good with very friendly and pleasant staff. We plan to return.
