Bathroom could have been cleaner and the shower tray was blocked and draining very slowly so had to turn off shower for water to drain and then continue showering.

Had a lovely big room. Very clean. Perfect location. Had a great breakfast. Would definitely book again.

very noisy ventilation system starting at 6:30 am, impossible to continue sleeping the noise went on for the rest of our stay... the owner did not know it was so disturbing up there... expected the pub to be open in evening as well, but it was closed for renovations...would have been nice to be mentioned on the booking.com website 😒

Nice and clean, friendly staff and helpful. Breakfast fresh and cooked to order. Easy to find.

Parking spaces were very tight, was concerned my car would be hit. Starting to look a bit dated, although very clean and well looked after.

The location was good and parking availability a great bonus. Breakfast was good and staff helpful and friendly.

Property looks tired in certain areas. The bathroom I had was not very nice. The toilet looked dirty and the grouting in the shower looked mouldy. WiFi was not very good.

The location was ideal for our visit the following day.

Where do we start……although there were free car parking available, they were incredibly tight and limited. The partitioning door between the first and second floor accommodation is one of the strangest things we’ve come across, the door starts off closing slowly then as it gets to the end of its travel it turns into an aircraft air lock and decides to slam shut so hard that the bedroom doors upstairs rattle LOUDLY in their frames. This happened multiple times during the night as some of the nocturnal guests decided to walk around the property. This caused us not to be able to get any decent amount of sleep until almost 5am! After having read previous reviews we had high hopes for our stay, however having stayed at the Cornerhouse we cannot seem to correlate any of the reviews with this property. I am left wondering if previous guests are indeed referring to this particular guesthouse. To use the term “B&B” is quite a stretch as we did not sleep much at all.

Room 4 - very small, where you had to turn sideways to get past end of bed. Damp sreas on ceiling, tv cables hanging down and tv not tuned, toilet flush sticking on, tap at sink not secured, Mirror hung on freestanding (open) wardrobe so you have to remove it to hang any clothes up, impossible to hang mirror over door as intended due to doors already sticking !

Perfect for our night out in Frome as we were going to the Cheese & Grain for Radio 2 Dance sounds of the 90s…literally a 10 min walk from the hotel . The room was comfortable & clean, overlooking the street , which I always enjoy. I love people watching! The staff were lovely & helpful. The breakfast was huge & fantastic … really good! What we paid for our stay , it was great value for money with a fab breakfast!!

Everyone on staff duties was super friendly, kind and ready to help. Moussa went overboard and was very accommodating including last minute requests. Couldn't have asked for better hosts

Staff were so helpful and kind and smiley. Even greeted us in the car park to see if we needed help with our bags after a busy day as a family of 5. Huge room with lots of beds. Really good shower . Excellent breakfast - eggs Benedict and egg Florentine were so delicious and catered for our little ones too. Made us feel so welcome..

Breakfast was very good

Small bed, poor pillows, too hot, toilet you couldn’t swing a cat in, impossible to fill the kettle under the tap, if the towel rail had been on it would have been impossible to use the sink without burning my back. Towels were tiny and poor quality. Bathroom was grubby and the door didn’t close.

The owners were super helpful and pleasant. When we thought the wifi was not working, quite late at night the owner came back and tried to sort it out for us.

Everything was good. The young couple owners work very hard for a comfortable stay for the guests.

Spacious room for three people. Comfy beds. Room fans provided which was a bonus with the hot weather. Selection of gluten free options for breakfast was excellent.

Shower curtain around the shower tray. Apart from that no complaints at all.

Location was 1 minutes walk from the town main square & shopping streets. Nice, quiet. modern apartment with good sized bathroom & bedroom. Kitchen facilities in were good. Lovely staff & great breakfast. 2 x fans supplied in the room (for the heatwave) as well as good ventilation from the windows so we were very comfortable. Entrance is around the back of the accommodation through the car park atm as they are renovating. The renovation did not impact on our breakfast. I understand the rest of the meal facilities are on hold till after the renovation. There are lots of great food options in Frome though! Comfy bed. The Independant Market was on the weekend we stayed & it was very cool. Would stay again & great atmosphere in an older building.

If we are picky....the shower could have been a bit more pressure. We had plenty of hot water 🙂

Nothing. The location wasn’t quite right for us as quite a steep hill leading down to Frome town centre and couldn’t walk back up due to mobility issues.

Car park was easily accessible, breakfast was excellent, owner was very helpful

No aircon and fan supplied was poor. Couldn’t leave window open because I was at the front of the hotel and all of Fromes boy racers were using the main street as a race track. Really noisy! Room generally a little tired but acceptable.

The room was amazing, very comfortable and spacious.

Honestly nothing, sadly the restaurant wasn’t open due to refurbishment but the breakfast was lovely.

Very nice ‘flat’. Lots of space, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen/living room. Clean and comfortable. Comp Prosecco very nice! Room was very hot, but it was during heatwave and two fans were provided. Very friendly owners.

Didn't check for air con, only had 1 fan and borrowed another as was hot (July) and we had twin room on the top floor and was rather tight for space. Our room overlooked a busy road though traffic noise dies down at night so not really an issue for me but maybe for others.

It was close enough to all shops and restaurants so a good location. The people running the hotel are very helpful and friendly. Lovely breakfasts.

The hotel is currently being renovated so some areas were not available, which would have been good to know before booking. Also it is on the corner of a very busy road, which we weren’t aware of, and as a consequence, because our room overlooked the road, it was very noisy, and made getting to sleep difficult. I know the hotel can’t control the traffic but if the room had had air conditioning we would not have had to keep the window open, and this would have helped reduce the traffic noise.

Owner was really friendly and accommodating, absolutely gorgeous little apartment. Huge sofa, very comfortable bed. Very very clean and had everything you could possibly need.

The only issue i had was that i overslept and missed my breakfast! Entirely my fault, probably the extremely comfortable bed!

The location is great! Central and close to the station. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean.

That the facilities need a revamp, they don't cater for food and or beverages (besides tea and coffee in the room and breakfast in the morning). One has to go out and buy food and beverage. which is not convenient after a long journey. It was hot as hell and the room was boiling hot. Fan was pathetic and didn't do much. The property is neat but definitely needs an upgrade. They need to consider selling food and beverages. I will consider staying again but only for a very short stay.

We liked the proximity to the venue we were visiting in the evening. It was clean and comfortable.

There was nothing we didn’t like. The hotel is in the process of redecoration so parts of it were a little old fashioned and tired looking but nothing drastic.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean with new towels each day and mini toiletries if needed. A good choice for breakfast and central enough to Frome for walking in and eating out. The room was warm in the heatwave, but there was a fan. The hotel has not long since been taken over, so we were aware they were making changes as and when they could.

The restaurant was closed for refurbishment, but this was not communicated when booking. There could've been a little more storage for clothing - more hangers or a set of drawers would be good. There was a large space under the stairs which we could have made better use of by storing bags there. There was a very noisy set of floorboards above our room, which woke us early. I was also a little concerned about the breakfast yogurts being out on the side for a long time without any ice under them. And I'm pretty certain they were the same yogurts out the next day after being sat out the previous morning.

We were in room 11 on the 3rd floor which overlooked the main road. Unfortunately even with secondary glazing closed there was a lot of traffic noise.

The manager WhatsApped on the day asking us for an ETA. We were arriving late - not to worry, they gave us clear instructions on how to enter, our room number and put our keys in a lockbox. We stayed in room 5 - the tripple. The room was spotless and presented beautifully. There were two fans, a TV and the windows open to air the room out. Cooked breakfast was simple and nice. Lovely decor and friendly staff. Perfect place to stay to break up a long journey.

The windows are NOT child friendly. I was surprised to see they had no safety catches. There was a window open floor height in the hallway that seemed incredibly ill placed and unsafe. The continental breakfast was lacking and the coffee was awful. Despite setting a time for breakfast and the hotel being aware we were a party of 3, there wasn't a table set up for us and the young lady manning the deck seemed overwhelmed but she was lovely and extremely apologetic. The double bed was two single pushed together and the mattress was rock solid. Very uncomfortable if you dont like a firm mattress. Not a hotel for young kids but perfect if you're stopping for a night to break up a journey.

Always get a warm welcome - it’s very convenient for me as it’s close to my head office. It’s clean, tea/coffee making facilities in the room with shower gel/shampoo. The breakfast options are fab

Due to the age of the building there are quite a few stairs (depending on room) with no lift.

It is well located and our accommodation was perfect for our family of four. It was very hot when we stayed and fans were kindly provided. Off street parking was a bonus.

Nice hotel with reasonable sized room in good condition and decent shower/bath. Staff were very friendly and helpful. On-site parking was great and it was easy to walk into Frome town centre. Welcome drink was very much appreciated and breakfast was good too.

Not much. Restaurant is closed for now but there are plenty of places to eat in Frome. Maybe could do with some hooks in the bathroom!

Greeted by owner who was friendly and polite. Showed us to the family room which was very large and spacious. Weather was extremely warm, a fan had already been placed in our room and an extra one was also provided without being asked for. Breakfast menu is extensive and has something for everyone.

My only point would be the coffee cups in a morning, the coffee machine measure is bigger than the cups so it spilt and made it difficult to carry, maybe consider changing to mugs or changing measure on machine (if that's possible.)
