I hadn’t realised at the time of booking that this is really a hotel in support of events. There was a party with very music music playing until 1am and guests loudly returning to their rooms in the small hours of the morning.

Nette, grundsätzlich saubere Unterkunft, sehr bequemes Bett, und große, neue tolle Dusche. Das schottische Frühstück ist nicht unser Fall, da kann aber das Hotel nichts dafür. Frühstücksraum war toll dekoriert. Parken war perfekt und einfach direkt vor dem Hotel. Haben uns wohl gefühlt. Das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis stimmt hier.

Straße war etwas nah vor unserem Fenster, nachts aber kein Verkehr und sonst sehr ruhig. Weg in die Stadt dauert 10-15 min mit dem Auto.

Great location, good food, excellent staff. For me, the big plus was the quality of the bed and bedding. So comfortable and I had a great nights sleep.

On our second morning at breakfast there were no yoghurts or pastries left despite being down a full 30 minutes before breakfast ended. The ‘help yourself’ coffee and tea were also cold, however a member of staff went and made us fresh ones. The staff are very helpful, although unfortunately there were no more yoghurt or pastries.

On the 22 nd of this month , we had my daughter’s wedding at this fantastic hotel . I cannot express my thanks enough for the perfect day , the perfect weekend we all had. The Wedding was fabulous, right from the wedding morning on the Blake room. Wait I should mention the bedrooms and bathrooms, how nice it was to start the day after having a luxurious night sleeping. The rooms are beautiful. The Hotel , all the staff with Jenna and Wendy being outstanding , were more than accommodating, polite and helpful. The ceremony was perfect followed by a truly lovely wedding dinner .. the food was gorgeous. There’s just too much to write about , I can’t possibly mention it all. This hotel provides wedding packages that are made to fit , offering lots of help and support to make sure every little detail is taken care of. I will certainly be using this hotel from now on every time I come to Aberdeen , it felt like being among family . Well done and thank you

Attended a wedding reception and overnight stay. Hotel lovely and just a perfect size, not too big as to feel impersonal. Room not too big, but perfect for one person. Bathroom lovely, clean and modern. Fish & chips were delicious. A special shout out to Linda on reception who received us with such a warm welcome and was of great help when I left something in my room- thank you, Linda! Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel with lovely staff. It was warm when we stayed for a wedding (at a different / close by venue) and the rooms were stiflingly hot. Classic doubles are on the small side although they have everything required…… including a fan luckily.

The room was a little warm

I stayed one night in the hotel and had dinner in the restaurant. I selected the sweet pea and mint ravioli and it was absolutely delicious and not something I have ever eaten before. Being a vegetarian it is nice to have something new to try, instead of the usual boring dishes! Thanks to chef Lauren for the most delicious food and the waiting staff Amber and Lucy who were both super nice and friendly. Can't wait to come back again.

The staff were very pleasant and there a lovely bar and restaurant. Outside could do a tidy up though.

My wife requested battered prawns on a brioche roll, when she got her order, it came with a toated morning roll. When the waitress was asked this, her reply was ' they must of ran out of brioche rolls' ...unbelievable. We got back to our room(12) after a drink in bar before bed, there was a function on downstairs. The music was so loud that our bathroom essentials were vibrating on the sink and not mention the TV remote vibrating along the dressing table. We hear the tunes that were playing and could sing along wors for word. Plus we could hear the DJ also. We did say something to the staff, the reply was ' it'll be finished at 1am' .....

We had our wedding held here and stayed a couple of nights. Megan looked after us throughout the build up and during the day and because of her professionalism and warm it all went superbly well. The food was excellent and all the staff could not have done more.

We chose the palm court hotel with sentimental significance the location is perfect atmosphere 100% rooms as very accommodating filled with mini bar fan kettle YOU NAME IT it’s in the room waiting for you value for money and every room was sparkling for us we choose to stay here for our first hotel stay and 2 years later we choose to get married here to the venue is just stunning inside and outside!! Staff are amazing people will do absolutely anything for you. Megan. Bradley and jenna - much love and we will see you again soon!

The view from the window was a solid slate wall not more than three feet from the window. Cold water didn’t work had to go and buy bottled water for tea/coffee

I have to travel to Aberdeen regularly and the PC is my go-to hotel. Rooms are of good quality - the majority are up a staircase (there is no lift ) but rooms 1 & 2 are a on ground floor, right behind reception and adjacent to the bar and restaurant. They are both excellent. The staff make the difference here, on my latest visit I was attended to by Jenna and Wendy and both are just lovely, so helpful. In general terms for those not familiar with the hotel, there is a ground floor level bar and restaurant, plus an outdoor seating area for the (relatively rare it had to be said 😀) occasions in Aberdeen when outdoor drinking / dining is possible without risking hypothermia. There is lots and lots of parking right in front, with an overspill to the side, and on-street parking is also free. The hotel is on a bus route to the city centre and maybe £8 - £9 by taxi. I didn’t eat in the restaurant this time, but last time the food was decent quality and the service was excellent.

It was very clean, the staff were tentative and the bedrooms and facilities were gorgeous.

The food was much to desired. It’s not to everyone’s taste and it wasn’t to ours.

Going out for a meal is a treat and something many of us have to save up for. Unfortunately, our recent visit toPalm court left us feeling completely ripped off. We live close by and used to visit often, but after this experience, we will never dine here again. My partner and I are both chefs, so we understand the industry well and do not see any excuses for food being this poorly executed at this price point. The disappointment started with the starters—my partner's mushroom Kiev was incredibly under seasoned and oily. For the main, I ordered the cod with orzo, which was completely inedible. The cod was severely overcooked, the orzo had absolutely no seasoning whatsoever, the green beans were a dull grey from being over-boiled, and the dish was topped with a limp, undressed piece of rocket. A dish like that simply does not deserve a £24 price tag. When I politely asked to swap it for the steak frites, the situation was handled poorly. At the time, I offered to pay the £2 price difference just to avoid any conflict, but on reflection, I am pretty disappointed that they actually went through with charging me. The supervisor/waitress who took the food away was very pleasant and was clearly just acting under instructions from the manager—we had no issue with her whatsoever. However, for management to actually accept that extra £2 when a dish is sent back for quality issues feels incredibly cheap. I was told my new meal wouldn’t be long. Instead, I waited 10 minutes, by which time my partner had already finished their dinner. When my steak frites finally arrived, the steak was served well-done. Given that the kitchen should have been rushing to get a replacement meal out to a waiting customer, there is no excuse for overcooking a steak to that degree. It is a massive shame that no manager ever bothered to come out to the table to see what the issue was. To make matters worse, nobody ever did a check-back on the food—not on the starters, and not even on the replacement main course. A meal out is an expensive treat, and the terrible food paired with an absolute lack of managerial care made for a highly frustrating evening.

As a tour driver i see a lot of hotel but this hotel is high in my top 5 staff food drinks are all amazing so i defo recomend this hotel

Your staff on reception were awesome. When I arrived Wendy booked me in and helped me with my bags. Jenna was also there and they made me feel most welcome. I had an evening meal in The Bothy, the food was brilliant, I think the waitress was called Sarah. She was a lovely lass, very cheery. The family wedding i was there for, was brilliant. Your staff were very attentive, nothing was to much bother. Thank you all very much, for a lovely stay. Hopefully I will see you again soon Lillian Sherriffs

Visited the hotel last night and I queried my drinks bill. The bar person was very busy so I approached another staff member (Wendy) and explained my concern about my bill. She immediately said she would go and check if it was correct or incorrect and let me know. She very quickly got back to me and explained what had happened and resolved the issue. I thanked her for dealing with this so quickly.

Absolutely everything staff where so accommodating communication spot on cleanliness couldn’t fault a single thing!!

We had our wedding at the Palm court in June 2026 and the day went perfectly. Our wedding co-ordinator Megan Andrews was wonderful. I couldn't have asked for anything more. I would highly recommend Megan Andrews and the Palm Court to anyone getting married. We couldn't have asked for a better day.

The room was lovely. Shower was great. Location was perfect. We didnt visit the restaurant but it looked lovely.

Unfortunately on both evenings of our stay there was a wedding in the function hall which was directly below us. The music was on until close to 1am. It was so loud, it was vibrating through the floor. We were made aware at check in of a wedding that day and night but not the second night. The receptionist did apologise in advance but said we could at least sleep in the following morning, however we didnt get our long lie (on the second morning) as we were woken by the cleaner hoover the carpet outside our room at 9am. On the first evening I went to speak to reception regarding the noise but was advised the hotel was fully booked and there was nothing they could do. I'm unsure why non-wedding guests were directly above the wedding venue and I know we weren't the only non-wedding guests in that section. We weren't even given the option to move for the second evening. The room was absolutely boiling but opening the window made very little difference plus the noise from the weddings and road outside made it even harder to try and sleep. The fan just blew the hot air around. The fridge was warm and the heat coming from it possibly contributed to the room temperature. There was a door behind the wardrobe and when the guests in the room next to us were talking, we could actually hear their whole conversation so not private at all.

A spacious well equipped room with everything we needed. All the staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Special thanks to the Polish lady (didn’t catch her name) who helped me with my bags and Linda at reception who checked us out and rebooked our next stay. Food in the Bothy was delicious and the new decor was welcome and very attractive.

We recently had our wedding at the Palm Court Hotel and cannot thank the team enough for everything they did for us. The location, the staff were very helpful and polite. The room was clean and comfortable.

The bath was not easy to climb in and out for a shower, could have done with a grab rail. Evening meals and wine were a bit expensive compared to back home.

The room was an excellent size, with a stocked mini bar, an ice bucket and beautiful glass wear.

I'd have liked conditioner to go with the shampoo and maybe slightly better lighting for doing make up as it was a little dark unless you were in the bathroom

We booked to stay here as I was attending the mactraitors murder night, on arrival we were checked in by a very cheery lady named Linda, check in was very quick and efficient, Linda Explained the directions to our room, which was light, modern and spacious. We couldn’t fault our stay at all.

Lots of little details. The hall carpet needs cleaned/replaced, the hallway was very tired, needed painted. Radiator in room rusty. Noisy bedroom near kitchen and could clearly hear people moving about in upstairs room.

My new wife and I got married at the Palm Court on Saturday 30 May and our experience from start to finish was outstanding. Sharlene first helped us out when we initially booked then Megan took over the reigns and made the day as easy as possible for us. All of the staff on the day were amazing and the catering was first class. Would definitely recommend this venue to any couple looking to have an intimate wedding. The stay was brilliant too; the rooms were lovely (and dog friendly) and the food was amazing. Special shout for the loaded hash browns at breakfast!

Wow wow wow, where do I even begin! We booked our wedding here which was 22.05 26 and honestly the best day! Megan organised our wedding and it was truly amazing. Everything went so smoothly!! All our guests got a phone call day before arrival to confirm everything was OK and they would see us at check in!! Rooms were clean, Food was delicious and the staff were just the best, nothing was an issue, help was on hand for anything we needed - so attentive!! I felt like a queen on my 2 night stay. The atmosphere between staff & my friends and family was electric, i think everyone made a friend in Jenna, what an absolute delight. I couldn't fault any of the staff though I just cant remember all their names 🙈 If anyone is planning a wedding i HIGHLY RECOMMEND Palm Court, get in contact with Megan. You wont be disappointed! The breakfast choice was amazing. The meals were hot, fresh and on hot plates. I was very impressed. The natural yoghurt and berries were room temperature which I do prefer. Dinner and service was excellent.

However the juices were room temperature which would have been nice chilled.

We stayed at the Palm Court Hotel last week for a wedding, and we had a fantastic time. I can't praise the staff highly enough: everybody was extremely helpful. The hotel itself is wonderfully quirky, and we nearly got lost making our way from our room to reception. Would love to come and stay again.

This has to be one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in & the staff were so helpful, kind, generous and friendly. We left feeling like friends, from Linda on reception who is so warm, Lynne was so welcoming & nothing was too much trouble. Megan created our wedding with us & it all went beautifully. Melissa & Co is the bothy restaurant we’re so good & the service was great. We will be back as soon as we can, and it maybe an anniversary tradition

Absolutely fabulous. We had a lovely bedroom and our meals in the Restaurant were delicious. We had a very warm welcome on our arrival and even though the hotel was very busy, the service we received from every member of the team was friendly and efficient. Couldn't fault any element of our stay. If we're back in Aberdeen then this is where we will stay without a second thought

We have recently had our wedding at Palm Court and it was amazing from start to finish. Excellent communication from Megan throughout the whole process. We had a few changes the week of the wedding and nothing was a bother. We brought in our own table decor and it was all set up for us and packed away after we didn’t have to lift a finger. I stayed in the hotel the night before with my bridesmaids and Jenna couldn’t have done more for us then and the morning of the wedding. Staff on reception all weekend were also lovely and very welcoming. Couldn’t recommend more ❤️
