The outlook of the hotel building and lobby looks grand 👍 Staff friendly and helpful. Room size satisfied. Bathroom design is nice. Bathroom is superb looks like new furbish, but the ceiling mould already.

Driveway to carpark is bad. Lift to lobby poor. Corridor to rooms very poor. Room carpet and curtain looks dirty. Room bed is old. Bathroom ceiling mould already. Bathroom exhaust fan very noisy. Shower heater cold water and hot water reversed. All cabinet door fall off, no maintenance. Overall common space lighting feel uneasy.

Everything was great, the room was clean and comfortable. The price was very reasonable and definitely with the money.

I'm a regular to this hotel since it still used the name Lacrista. The staff, the cleanliness and the environment always top notch!

The large rooms are nicely maintained. After several weeks on the road around Malaysia these were the most comfortable beds I' had so far. Very attentive servicing of room each day. Very quiet overall.

I specifically asked about the afternoon tea promotion displayed in the lobby. Although the brochure clearly stated 3pm–7pm, I was told it was only available until 4pm. Because of that, I assumed I had missed it and ordered from the à la carte menu instead. During check-out, I was informed that the afternoon tea set on the brochure is actually available until 7pm and can even be served to the room upon request. Better communication from the front desk would have prevented this misunderstanding. The ironing board in our room was also in poor condition. The cover was torn and burnt, which should have been noticed during housekeeping inspections before assigning the room to new guests. The air conditioner kept alternating between very cold and warm, making the room temperature uncomfortable throughout the night. We also experienced problems with the TV. Maintenance arrived promptly and fixed it, but the issues returned later. As Muslim women, we had already changed into our nightwear and removed our hijab, so calling maintenance again would have meant getting changed and covering up once more, which was quite inconvenient. We ended up sleeping in an uncomfortable room because of the inconsistent air conditioning. I even developed a sore throat and hoarse voice afterwards, although I can’t say for certain what caused it. Another disappointment was the gym. Booking.com still lists a gym under the wellness facilities, but after searching around and even asking housekeeping, we were eventually told that the gym had been removed some time ago. The listing should be updated to avoid misleading guests.

The room is a bit too deemed not suitable for seniors. Should have lighting at tv area, there is a slope entrance to toilet and it is quite slippery even though the floor is carpet.

The staff seem clueless. I kept having to to go back to the front desk who were quite confused, first about whether i had already paid and then saying i didn’t have breakfast which I did and then finally about having to pay for parking which was clearly stated as free in their note. It’s not much money but they should get it right. I was turned away at breakfast and again had to argue. Rooms and corridors poorly lit. First ever hotel breakfast that doesn’t have proper coffee.

Most of the staff are friendly and helpful, with only a few exceptions, particularly in the restaurant. The technical support team is excellent—responsive, efficient, and capable of resolving issues quickly.

The room was not as clean as expected. The bedsheets appeared worn rather than fresh, and the pillow had an unpleasant odor. The carpet also seemed unclean and may not have been vacuumed properly. In addition, the twin-bed rooms were quite dim and lacked adequate lighting. The other room, the carpet seems cleaner.

I was quite disappointed with my stay at Grand Swiss-Belhotel Melaka. The bedsheets and pillows had an unpleasant smell, which made the room feel less comfortable. The refrigerator also had a strong unpleasant odour, making it uncomfortable to store any food or drinks. The TV was very small, and the overall room atmosphere felt dark and gloomy. The breakfast was below average and did not meet my expectations. The hotel lobby was the only area that looked nice and welcoming. However, the parking area was in poor condition, dirty, and not well maintained.

Considering the room rate of over RM300 per night, I do not feel that the stay was worth the price. In my opinion, an Airbnb would offer better comfort and value for money. Overall, this stay did not meet my expectations, and I hope the management will take steps to improve the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall guest experience in the future.

not clean, the mirror full of lipstick mark and people oil hands mark... the smell of the room also not fresh and very dusty..the aircond also very poor take hours to be cool but not enough.. the furniture also old, lots of scratch mark and broken... the lighting also got problem sometimes it blinking itself and the ligt not bright enough for the room. not worth it and will never come again.

Breakfast was average. On Monday the roti prata was hard, the dall gravy is very light as if it was the Sunday's like wise for the chicken curry. The sandwich did not taste well.

It has a weird smell like old wax candle, make it difficult to breath well.

My family had 4 rooms in the hotel. The twin rooms are spacious and equipped with plug points near the bed. The concierge was friendly and counter staff were friendly on check out. Good breakfast spread.

The was a lingering stale smell in the room like old smoke or wet carpet. The aircond took a while to cool the room down. The whole hotel needs a good cleaning. The lights in the room were too dim.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel, but what truly stood out was the kindness and honesty of the staff. I accidentally lost my wedding ring during my stay, and the team went above and beyond to help me find it. They were patient, professional, and genuinely caring throughout the process, and thankfully the ring was recovered. The hotel was also clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with great service overall. I’m very grateful for the staff’s effort and integrity, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place that truly cares about its guests.

Middle of nowhere. Very dated. Mediocre breakfast at MYR 40 ! Air conditioning in the room noisy and impossible to regulate the temperature. There was a conference being held in the conference rooms that overlook the swimming pool; we felt very uncomfortable using the pool .

It was off peak and the hotel was relatively quiet. It was a leisure time for my family. The Premier Studio was large - plenty of space for crawling for our little one. Bathroom is clean and spacious too. The pool setting is quite lovely. As for breakfast, there were many options but we found them to be the same. We stayed for 5 nights.

More variety for day to day breakfast would be better.

Very old abit like haunted place

A lot of things need to be fix especially the toilet, The door can’t close properly. The lobby and room has some kind of smell. The staff will knock on the door until i woke up just to ask if I need for room cleaning. Please let the guest sleep, knock twice will do.

Room facilities not properly maintained. Wardrobe doors seems like falling off. Bathub needs professional cleaning. Basic amenities like lighting, carpet, furniture needs replacement. Bedsheets look old with holes and wear and tear. Lifts look dated too. Breakfast almost the same for 3 days. Partly rotten apple served in fresh fruit basket at breakfast. Found cockroach crawling while having breakfast. Cockery and eating utensils like plates, fork ,spoon and cups not topped up fast enough. It was a downgrade from the previous management when I stayed there almost 3-4 years ago.

The location is close to AEON mall, not crowded, easy to park, the interior design of the room is very beautiful, breakfast is ok, the lobby and corridor are very fragrant, I don't know how they do it. The pool is small but ok for me.

The bed sheets are not clean, have hair and stains. Dusty and hair on the table maybe my luck was bad that day. Previously the room was very clean maybe it was just renovated in 2020. I also has been there on 2019 it also good. Please improve your service because your hotel was nice.
