I gotta give a huge shoutout to the restaurant staff! Even though it was super packed, they were topping up the food and clearing tables promptly. And the food tasted great and was served nice and hot!

The lift systems - 4 lifts for over 40 floors, and the wait can easily 15 minutes. You have to take whatever lift comes, whether it’s going up or down, which is really annoying. The rooms are spacious and mostly clean, but the bathrooms have mould on the walls and the water drains really slowly. The mattress feels like you’re sleeping right on the springs. The front desk is always super busy and not answering the calls. On my second day, I got locked outside thw room because my key card expired believe that it was their mistake. And for that I had to go all the way down to get it reprogrammed.

Very recommended near facilities in malacca

The jonker street is within walking distance along the river (1 km) or by water taxi where the jetty is at the hotel. Near many amenities, no need to drive your car, just park at the hotel. There's a small mall and a theme park in the hotel. The pool is large a 4 out of 5 for me.

Too many people as the hotel is quite popular to weekend tourists. And the hotel car park is at the 7th and 8th floor. And the traffic jem to reach the hotel.

Various choices of food during breakfast was available. The room is big as well as the swimming pool.

Although the food provided is plenty of choices, but the location of cafe was inconvenient. They served the food at banquet Hall, and they served hot drink cup with paper cup when the stock of teacup finished. No towel provided for The Shore Hotel Guest, and they did not notify the guest earlier. Receptionists are not friendly, also not inform people clearly about parking and tower arrangement. During check-out, the receptionist very rude, only take the key and said 'that's all', no manners. Overall, will not stay again in the same hotel, looks like the Management didn't prepare well to receive huge number of hotel guest at one time.

Sesuai untuk family. Bilik bersih dan selesa, kemudahan lengkap dan staff friendly. Lokasi strategik, senang nak ke tempat menarik. Secara keseluruhan, pengalaman yang sangat memuaskan.

Lif agak slow terutamanya waktu peak. Harap pihak hotel dapat tingkatkan kelajuan lif untuk keselesaan tetamu.

Hotel breakfast taste good, but little variety. Distance to jonker street is walkable, around 15-20 minutes.

Waiting for the hotel lift are quite frustrating. Have to wait for more than 10 minutes. The shore shopping mall is not what expected, quite disappointing.

Für europäische Verhältnisse eher ein Hostel.Alles gehört renoviert,Personal sehr unfreundlich,Schwimmbad sehr alt und keine Ablage oder LiegemöglichkeitenNur 2 große Handtücher im Doppelzimmer.Das Zimmer wird zwischenzeitlich nicht gesäubert oder mit neuen Handtüchern oder Wasserflaschen aufgefüllt.Für den Preis ist das Hotel nicht akzeptabel. Schade,war bestimmt mal ein tolles Hotel.

All the staff members that I had the pleasure to interact with were absolutely 5 star !! Reception was cheerful, gave helpful information, and always asked if there was more they could do to help. Security who occasionally manned the elevators were absolutely polite and well trained. Housekeeping was prompt to send someone up when we needed a replacement towel and more coffee. I had a little trouble with the TV, and when their 1st fix didn't resolve it completely, the maintenance team simply changed the TV and everything was fine after that! The buffet breakfast was hearty and amazingly available from 7am till 12 noon...... i loved that flexibility . .. and so many choices that even on our last day we were not bored of it! Speaking of breakfast - the staff at the Garden Terrace also deserve a shout out! They were absolutely professional and efficient, clearing tables immediately and seating people quickly, even keeping up with the larger number of guests over the weekend without any problem. This was definitely a good choice for our holiday. The location (about 40 feet from the hotel lobby to the Malacca River Walk) was also a GREAT plus.

The building itself is showing some signs of ageing, so although everything is functional, it does not look NEW. There are adequate lifts for the weekdays when occupancy is low, but on weekends it may take a few minutes for a lift to arrive. Management works around this by having security personnel take over lift control - which seemed to help.

Got cocroches in my room, got ant also, the lift for costemer was very lame, slow, and no lift for the services staff, so all using the same lift. I saw Maintenance staff and guard hack the lift so that they can use the loft without the lift stop to the costemer it make we wait more longer. Not convinience for parking lift, as we have to change lift from carpark lift to the room lift. Very smelly when u enter to take the room key at the mailbox. DEPOSIT BLOODY HELL expensive,RM 200 and will return after 24 hour. Will not ever come here again

En théorie la piscine et les chambres spacieuses. Raisons pour lesquelles nous l’avons choisi. Dans la réalité c’est autre chose.

Le fait de payer une caution obligatoirement en liquide assez importante. Sans aucune flexibilité. Retraite des clés dans une salle assez peu sécurisante qui ne marchait pas publikndoit déposer l’argent en liquide et prendre des photos pour preuve. La télévision qui n’a pas marché du séjour et qui a occasionné 3 interventions de plusieurs dizaines de minutes sans efficacité.

Checked-into a room next to a noisy lift. Was assigned another room immediately, but I left behind a bag of my medications in a drawer of the first room. Managed to get back my medications later that night from the cleaning staff. Thank you.

L'hôtel bénéficie d'un bon emplacement, situé à environ 15 à 20 minutes à pied du centre historique. Il se trouve également face au canal, avec un embarcadère pour les bateaux-navettes permettant de rejoindre différents points de la ville. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la taille de l'appartement, très spacieux et confortable. Situé à un étage élevé, il offrait une belle vue. La présence de la climatisation dans toutes les pièces a également été un vrai plus compte tenu du climat local. Les équipements de l'hôtel sont de qualité, notamment la grande piscine ainsi que la piscine avec aire de jeux intégrée pour les enfants. Le centre commercial situé aux niveaux inférieurs de l'établissement est pratique, avec plusieurs restaurants, boutiques et activités accessibles directement. Enfin, la salle de petit-déjeuner est vaste et permet d'accueillir un grand nombre de clients.

L'établissement offre de beaux volumes et une vue agréable, mais il mériterait un rafraîchissement général. Comme dans le reste de la ville, nous avons parfois eu le sentiment d'un lieu un peu vieillissant et peu animé. Nous avons rencontré quelques difficultés avec la climatisation à notre arrivée, même si le personnel technique est intervenu rapidement et efficacement. Le petit-déjeuner était correct mais en dessous du niveau attendu pour un établissement de cette catégorie. L'accueil gagnerait également à être plus chaleureux et personnalisé. Le personnel est resté courtois, mais l'expérience client ne correspond pas tout à fait aux standards habituellement rencontrés dans un hôtel 4 ou 5 étoiles. Enfin, notre appartement disposait d'une cuisine, mais aucun ustensile n'était fourni. Nous ne restions que quelques jours, donc cela n'a pas eu d'impact majeur sur notre séjour, mais cela peut être décevant pour des voyageurs souhaitant réellement utiliser cet équipement. Malgré ces quelques points d'amélioration, le séjour est resté agréable grâce au confort de l'hébergement, à la réactivité des équipes techniques et à l'emplacement de l'établissement.

Cleanliness of room can be improved as we had to wear bedroom slippers because the floor was dusty. One of the bathroom and toilet was rather small and uncomfortable. In addition, the wash basin had black stains and mold.

The room was well maintained and spacious, with a beautiful view of Malacca City overlooking Kg. Morten and the Malacca River. The breakfast was satisfactory, but the food selection could be improved by offering a wider variety of menu options.

Although I arrived for check-in at 3:00 PM, the queue was very long, and I had to wait about 30 minutes just to reach the check-in counter. Despite having prepaid and confirmed my booking in advance, my room was still not ready, and I only received my room at around 4:15 PM—more than an hour after the official check-in time. Unfortunately, the staff handling my check-in was not very helpful in addressing the delay or offering explanation, or any effort to ease my dissatisfaction. As a result, me myself had to request a late check-out to compensate for the delayed check-in. Additionally, the overall lighting in the room was quite dim, which made the space feel less comfortable. Improving the room lighting would further enhance the overall guest experience.

De nombreux éléments se dégradent / ne fonctionnent pas : - boîtier électrique complètement ouvert dans le placard - pas de vaisselle du tout pour cuisiner - l’évacuation extérieure de la climatisation sur le balcon était très, très, très bruyante. On l’entend de la chambre, assez inconfortable pour dormir. Nous avons dormi avec des joules quies … - pas de service de laverie dans l’hôtel comme il était pensionné sur l’annonce : cela nous a fait perdre deux bonnes heures à la laverie, très proche de l’hôtel heureusement.
