Staff was nice and helpful, room and hotel was clean. Wonderful view. Buffet breakfast was good. No other dining options.
The staff were really nice! The breakfast was good!
Precioso hotel con magnificas vistas al lago Argentino. Cuenta con restaurante, que sirve una comida deliciosa, ademas del desayuno, que está buenísimo! El staff increíble, super servicial y atento!
Great check in staff
Beautiful and peaceful Inn with gorgeous views out the main window and very accommodating staff! We loved our stay here!!
The lobby has a very good view
The staff at the counter were amazing!!
The stuff was very nice and accommodating.
staff were all very welcoming and gave great recommendations for food in town
The lobby and location was beautiful, had amazing views!
Beautiful property in the outskirts but only 5-7 from town. Staff is super friendly- Felicidad honors her name- she’s been in charge of breakfast for 16 years and she’s delightful. Engage in conversation with her; you’ll enjoy it! Agustina is very professional.

This hotel ticked all the boxes: comfortable bed, good shower, fast wifi, beautiful views, friendly staff. It’s located out of town but taxis were cheap and plentiful. It was a great choice for us, and I can definitely recommend staying here.
The room was a bit old. But overall was quiet and nice place.
Staff was great. Supper was very good though there very few options on the menu. Frederico did a great job selling it though!!!
Amazing location with a view that’s worth the whole trip
Nice hotel, beautiful view and staff are friendly. Room we had, Onelli, didnt have Wifi. Restaurant was not open for lunch or dinner so you had to drive to village for everything. Breakfast was not pleasant.
Property's view of the lake is breathtaking. Very comfortable and cozy conveniently located just outside Calafate but minutes away by car. The staff were extremely friendly and hospitable. Highly recommended.
Love this place, very nice people, beautiful place , complimentary parking, great Breakfast, the lady Felicidad made the best breakfast eggs ever taste. Close to downtown and across the street to lago Argentino, great view .
Excelente en todo: Ubicación, servicio, decoración y arquitectura;comodidad. Gracias por todo.
Beautiful views from the bungalow
Beautiful hotel with a superb view of Lake Argentino. Nicely decorated. A short inexpensive taxi ride to town Spotless clean. Nice breakfast. Staff is courteous and dependable. Highly recommended
The view from the lobby and from our room was spectacular. The heat in our room was really hot and we had to sleep with the window open.
Nice place
The restaurant was awesome. The views are spectacular
Excellent staff, very helpful and friendly. View is everything. Food is great. Bathrooms need a little renewal but rooms are great.
Service!!! View. Place is beautiful, people are very friendly and helpful. Food in restaurant was very good. A little far from town, but taxis are called if needed.
Ok
Great lake view. Rooms are comfortable. Bathroom is tiny . Car / Taxi needed.
Magnifica vista hacia el lago. Un hotel muy acogedor
Nice view, walking distance to the lake. 10 minutes away from the central. We felt homely, front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed staying at the hotel.
Remote location need a cab to go anywhere. Old country hotel, all amenities are old, no heating, bathroom leaking, however very open minded and helpful staff. Thank you all to make our stay better.
10/10 to staff , most superb girls at the reception, kind , professional, accommodative. Hard working kitchen and house cleaning staff. 10/10 cleanliness , beauty , convenience, tranquility . Thank you for a lovely stay .
Upon arrival at the airport we had booked transportation from airport to hotel with the hotel, no one was there, and we had to get a taxi. The hotel claimed online it had a restaurant on site. Incorrect, it was late we asked they get us a taxi; 20 minutes later we asked again to get us a taxi. She recommended a small shop nearby; but it did not have sandwiches. Taxi took us to a large grocery store. The room was not as described. Booked suite with fireplace. Room had a small black wood burning stove and a hot tub; but the hot tub looked like it had not been cleaned in a while.
Good Hotel in El Calafate. Beautiful, clean, great staff.
La mejor ventana y Vista al lago.
Beautiful hotel, small and cozy. 5 min drive from downtown, but there are taxis available every 2 or 3 blocks (special parking spots for them). Would stay here again.
Stayed in family bungalow. Lovely property. A little bit out of town so not walkable to shopping but easy to get transportation. View was amazing and sweet dogs!
It seemed nice and clean and the staff were nice. However, the walls are very, very thin and we could constantly hear our neighbors below and next to us. The breakfast was sad and very lacking with lukewarm, very bad coffee and some pastries and cereal.
Beautiful lake view hotel about 20 minutes walk from the center. No hot breakfast option. Clean and very good service.
Beautiful view and room. Excelent hospitality and staff!
The place is very beautiful, but we felt there was An incomunication between people working there which lead to many unfortunate situations. We did not feel taken care as guests. There was no possible late check out for us, even though we anticipated this, and they didnt pick us up at the airport as established with anticipation. Pretty sad!
good location!!! the lady in charge in the breakfast is superb! Great job!
The hotel is situated up on a hill with a beautiful view of the lake. The rooms are named after glaciers which is really cool. Our room was spacious and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were luxurious. There was a huge window with a panoramic view of the lake The reception area and lobby offer floor to ceiling windows and extremity comfortable lounging furniture. There is a restaurant with a limited but varied and delicious menu. The buffet breakfast was also very good, served in a raised dining room with great views. The staff was very attentive and personal attention was in abundance. The hotel grounds are tastefully landscaped adding to the visual beauty of the natural surroundings. We highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.
Beautiful Patagonia style accommodations especially main lodge. Had a bungalow for 4 which was useful. Rooms a bit small and could use updating but overall really good. Quiet location about 30 min walk from town. Wouldn’t do it at night cause of dark and winds but day would be okay if had time. Appreciated being able to get boxed lunches for our excursions.
Great reception area and helpful receptionist who stayed up to receive our late check in. We enjoyed the rustic cabin that we stayed in and comfortable bed. However, the shower was really small and uncomfortable and the water pressure was bad. We also asked not to have room cleaning/do not disturb but somehow this was not communicated to the cleaner. Lovely view of lago Argentina, but location was a bit further from the centre of town and we felt that it was a bit overpriced.
The restaurant and bar was not open during our stay. I’m not sure why. The King bed was two beds pushed together with one fitted sheet. The tv reception was fuzzy. The room temperature was very hot and the handles were broke off of the radiator. We didn’t stay much in the room. The town is two miles away. We came to see the glaciers and they were amazing.
This place is amazing, one of the best places we stayed at on our trip!! Highly recommended staying here.
We stayed at the cabin named Onelli that has 2 twin beds and 1 queen. The down comforter is warm while the heater was not too powerful (I felt fine). The bathroom is small but still manageable for me, unless you are tall and portly. The jacuzzi is in a separate cabin open to all guests. I didn't try but it looks nice with glass walls and has a view. The staff called taxis for us whenever we needed. The lobby is a nice place to lounge around and enjoy the sun. It is decorated with plenty plants and succulents. The dogs (Simon, Mora and Nina) are so CUTE and friendly - they roamed around outside and sometimes hung out on the porch.
Went to check in and reception was closed, called the emergency numbers they had posted on doors and no one answered. After 3 hours we left. Have yet to receive a refund.
Trip to Perito Moreno simply nice region to visit property offers fair price of your stay nice view
The view was excellent. A little far from things if you have no car, but doable, especially since most tours would pick up and return. Staff was excellent.
Overall decent, a little further out of town than wanted, large bungalow, but when mybwife was halfway through her shower, fully soaped, water went off and left her freezing, soapy, amd MAD. The guy at rhe desk said its nomal to wait 10 minutes between each shower. I waited 45 minutes before I got it in, knew I may need to hurry, same happened to me after 1 minute in. I wish through Hotels.com there was a way to fight for you money back, or for a discount, I dont think their policies allow for that. I travek for business 50% and stay in alot of hotels, I would not recommend Blanca Patagonia.
Providing excellent view of Lake Argentino from its lobby set above a hill.
Incredible view, the most fantastic receptionist however bathroom could be modernized
The view from the lobby is very nice. The staff is very friendly. Good location; very quiet as it is outside of the city center however easy to go, walking distance from. The village.
The lobby area is stunnning and looks like a mountain lodge out of a magazine - makes you truly feel like you’re on vacation. Amenities in the hotel are nice and there is a great breakfast. Everyone in town knows where the hotel is, super easy to get around and is close enough to town.
The hotel is well kept with a lavender field growing in front of it. The building is wooden with large panoramic windows with incredible views over the lake. The rooms were comfortable and a good size. We slept well. The furniture / decor in the rooms is a little dated. We are in the restaurant one night and the food was prepared well and in line with local standards but service was well intended but a bit “try and see”. Some training would be a good investment. The wine list is average. Breakfast was ok. The location is slightly out of town. A car is helpful. There is a hot tub that we didn’t use.
It was comfortable and clean, full breakfast with good quality confectionery. Wish we were given correct advice by the reception. For “Rios de Hielo” express he told us that we could not buy ticket at Punto Banderas, must buy at the hotel or in town. We had done this excursion a couple of times in the past and always bought tickets at the port. We thought the company must have changed its policy. So we let Jorge get them for us. The tickets were available at the port for 400 pesos less per ticket. We felt cheated.
The room was very spacious. The staff was very helpful.
There was a good selection of food at breakfast. We had a great view of Lake Argentina from our room and the hot tub room. This property is in quiet area and the taxi ride to the main stripe in the city was about 300 pesos.
The shower space is too small, the water too hot, when we finished shower, the floor get all wet everywhere
The shower was really poor. Small and the curtain disturbing all the time. The water pressure also not good. Great view and breakfast.
Terrible property management group. Wouldn’t provide any flexibility in dates, check in times, or otherwise. Would not recommend.
It is located off the main road and hard to find without any street signs. Once we checked in the room was very hot. There is no way to turn off the heaters and the only solution was to open the window. We slept with the window open all night which then was noisy.
I am still waiting for a refund in an excursion which I couldn’t complete for being over 65 years old. I booked it and paid it and after receiving the money they told us we couldn’t go, so they were going to refund the part of the mini trek to us, however, we haven’t received the refund
We had a great time in Blanca Patagonia; Perfect place to explore el Calafate with very friendly and attentive staff; We were very happy with our choice !
I recommend this hotel if you have your own transportation. The rooms are comfortable, clean and have a wonderful jacuzzi tub. The oly drawback is that is not close to the center of Calafate.
Not sure if we were given the room that we originally booked on-line. Pretty outdated hotel in need of renovation. Staff was friendly and helpful but the room was not what we expected. We had different expectations. Difficult to find from the main road.
This place is nice and seems like it once may have been nicer but has got run down a bit. The main building is lovely and breakfast was good. We stayed in one of the cabanas and were a little disappointed. The bathroom was very tiny and there was a very tiny shower that was hard to fit in and was no way to avoid touching the dirty shower curtain... in the description of the cabin we booked it said there was a bathtub, and there wasn’t. Maybe the rooms in the main part were nicer... The hot tub had a nice view but was kind of dirty. The location was beautiful but not super convienient and required a taxi to get anywhere, but we were ok with that
Very nice building, located just in front of Argentina Lake, with a superb view. The room is spacious and clean. In front of the main building, they have a small house where the "jacuzzi" is, with ahudge view over the lake. The breakfast is fair. Lots of cakes (I don´t like) ans scrambled eggs, cooked on the moment. To go to "down town", you must go by taxi
Great view, home style food at restaurant, really enjoyed every moment of staying.
Nice boutique hotel with fabulous view from the entrance lounge. Very friendly staff. A bit outside of town.
A bit outside of town, but what a view the lobby/living room offers! Extremely nice and helpful staff, large and spacious rooms.
Very good, nice place and beautiful. The staff Service were good and help us always
It is not a hotel. It is a nice Inn, a little far from downtown. Need a car to move around
view was amazing, a little bit of a walk into town but the view was worth itgr
The ambient is great. Rooms are well furnished and decorated. However, it is cottage style and you can hear a little noise from other guests. Breakfast is only average. Overall is a good experience.
Stayed overnight in transit. Such a lovely place and a wonderful view of the lake and town! I would like to come back and stay for awhile.
The views and ambiance of the hotel are very lovely. The breakfast was delicious too. The main downside is that the hotel is a bit of a walk to and from the main part of town (20-30 min walk each way), or you could get a taxi ride to and from town. The hotel is also at the top of a big hill. The room had a few things that were a little broken, but otherwise it was a lovely hotel, with friendly, helpful staff. I definitely recommend taking a day tour to Perito Moreno - it was an amazing site and experience. Also, the town is fun and lively to explore with lots of shops and restaurants.
Nice location, dirt road that leads to hotel was quite jarring. Very nice hotel in the area. Loved the lavender field. Brealfast was basic but did the trick.
The hotel has a great view from the main reception/lounge area. The decor is a little old for my taste but it's ok. The wifi didn't work in our room but was ok in the common area. The tv didn't work in our room. Basically not my cup of tea, but it's ok.
The hotel was expensive for what the property is worth. Staff is super friendly and willingly to go the extra mile.
An excellent hotel, the staff was very kind and helpful. The only thing i didn't like was that the air conditioner wasn't functioning very well. The view from the room was amazing and the bed was really comfortable. Thank you so much for everything!
Only issue is that the closest gas station is about 100km away. Hotel should have a pump to sell gas at reasonable prices to guests.
Internet wifi does not work at all in room
I like this hotel very much. Obviously, it is away from the city center. The taxi ride (one way) to city center is around 6 to 7 US dollars. You choose this hotel really for the view. It seems every room faces Lake Lago. There is nothing to do in the city center except dining. When I was there, the restaurant in this hotel didn’t seem to function. Nobody was eating there and the staff never mentioned we could eat at the hotel restaurant. So, if you stay here, you will always have to take taxi to city center to eat. If you are willing to do that for the view, you should enjoy staying this hotel very much. I chose the view over the convenience of living near the city center. For me, I think it’s worth it. You don’t see that peaceful gorgeous view everyday. Pros: 1. Really nice view. I could see it from my room. From the hotel lobby, the view looks even better because of the big tall window. 2. The breakfast area also faces the view. Every morning I stared at the view eating breakfast. It’s sublime. Breakfast lady was very nice and hard working. She always rearranged things pretty and made the buffet table look neat and clean right after things were displaced by guests. 3. Staff at the front desk spoke English well and were always very helpful. 4. Clean room, comfortable bed and big bath tub. 5. The decor of this hotel is tasteful. It’s like someone’s big vacation home. 6. Hot tub faces Lake Lago. Using the hot tub and staring at Lake Lago is very relaxing.
Hotel staff was very friendly and inviting. Breakfast was great and location was nice and quite. Cabins offered plenty of space and were quite cozy.
it was ok but not a 4 star hotel...the service and staff are really good and helpfull
Please check the breakfast, the view and before you start your discovery of the glaciars, go to the museum and set your priorities of time?
I had reserved two rooms well in advance for ourselves and friends with whom we were traveling. I had been in touch with Hotels.com and the hotel itself to assure that we would have rooms with big beds. Our friends' room (the lesser expensive one) in the main hotel building did have a big bed. We had paid more for an outside cabin room to make sure we had the big bed. When we arrived we were told that ours had been "upgraded" to a larger cabin because the original one was not available. The "upgrade" had two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. The cabin was hot as can be because the heat was one, and the radiators were leaking. There were large bugs that had joined us in the room because to get the place feeling cooler we had to open windows. The rod that was used to open the window protruded dangerously over the bed in which my husband slept. This was not at all what we expected!
3star hotel with friendly stuff and so so location!!!
A lovely hotel. Very clean, excellent service from the front desk staff, who were friendly and professional. We would definitely stay there again.
Room was big and comfortable (we were 3) the view and location is amazing, breakfast was super and the staff was incredibly helpful to organize trips etc ... I would strongly recommend for someone planning to do tourism in the region
Very good and warm boutique hotel, nice view. Need 6 usd for taxi to city centre. Breakfast is normal, not superior.
We had a lovely stay here, the room was gorgeous and cute. The staff were incredibly friendly (except for one during breakfast who didn't seem to believe we were staying there and hovered over us saying we have to finish all of the fruit there and not take it away haha, which we weren't planning to!) All other staff was incredibly helpful and kind. They also offer a shuttle to the most delicious restaurant, get the lamb!!
Amazing hotel in El Calafate. We had such an enjoyable stay. Views are incredible, staff are friendly, large rooms with kitchen facilities and great value. Highly recommend.
This is a 15 year old hotel that looks like it opened only yesterday. Fantastic view of Lake Argentino from you room, lobby and quaint bar area. A definite "must return to" hotel.
Very convenient. Out of town by less than 10 min from City Bus terminal by walk less 30 minutes. Taxi cost from Bus terminal to Hotel is 50 Pesos.Staff friendly and helpful. We got a bungallow very clean and all fuctional. We recommend to anyone who want to escape the city.
