Un occultant eut été le bienvenu en plus du rideau mais c'était pas si mal question assombrissement .

Me and my partner like everythink about the place its decor in side and outside it was built in 1844 . Theres lots of history about this b&b,before it became a B&B in 1987, it was the birth place of world war ll RAF pilot Group Captian Leonard Cheshire .(Lord Cheshire VC. The b&b is located in a perfect location not to far from the city centre . During are stay the owners June & Bill made us feel very wellcome the cooked full english breakfast was amazing. I would definitly book there again .

Chambre une peu petite, mais relativement confortable

The staff were friendly, welcoming and informative. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Had everything you needed. The family room was excellent value for money. Especially as parking and breakfast was included. Plenty of choice at breakfast. Hot items all cooked fresh. Located around 20 mins walk from Chester centre. There was also a bus stop right outside if needed. To add to this, the house had original features and an interesting history.

The front of Ba Ba was facing a busy road, which might be an issue for some people. Breakfast served between 8-9am. It would have been nice to have it a little bit later. Neither of these things spoilt the overall enjoyment of the stay.

The property is in a great location, just a short, pleasant walk into the city centre. The owners are very friendly, helpful and attentive. The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices to satisfy all tastes. We will definitely be returning

Good comms, nice welcome, safe parking for motorbike at rear. Very comfortable large room. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. USB chargers bedside and ceiling fan very useful. Good shower and toiletries. Seating in room. Lovely breakfast cooked to order. 20 mins walk into Chester centre. Such good value for a city location at £58 including breakfast.

Everything... Our hosts were very friendly and extremely accommodating. Our room was clean, with a nice shower. Tea and coffee facilities were provided. Our breakfasts ( 1 full English cooked and the other cereal and toast ) were excellent. Our room (7) was on the ground floor next to the breakfast room, and we had a ceiling fan, which kept us cool in the balmy weather. Highly recommended as an excellent location close to amenities and shops, bars & restaurants. Parking is provided at the property. Overall, it is highly recommended.

Really friendly and helpful staff who were great at suggesting places to go and things to do during our stay. Very clean and comfortable room, nice breakfast with plenty of choice. Close to some local bars and restaurants and the town centre is within walking distance too. Will definitely be back.

A really convenient location for town. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. My room had the benefit of a ceiling fan but was a bit quirky with a step down and then back up again to get to the bathroom. Breakfast was good.

Only stayed for one night!

June was a lovely host, served good breakfasts, suggested sight seeing activities, helped with a taxi problem. She resolved a cable problem with the TV. There was a laundrette, a food coop and many good restaurants nearby. Nice neighborhood. Only a mile from train station. I was able to do a lot of walking.

The room had two levels, so had to be careful at beginning to get used to, and not stumble.

The owners Jude and Bill were really friendly and helpfull with directions around the city. The bed was comfy and the room clean and tidy.

Ba Ba Guest house was absolutely lovely. The welcome was warm, friendly and helpful. The room spotless and very comfortable. Location was perfect…close to amenities, cafe, bar, food and train. Car parking was really convenient. Can’t fault it at all.

Just returned from a lovely weekend stay at Ba Ba Guesthouse. Excellent location, 10 mins walk to station and approx 25 mins to centre of Chester. Free parking at the rear of the property. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Large room with en-suite, toiletries supplied, very comfy bed and quiet, slept really well. Everywhere was exceptionally clean. Breakfast was great, just what's needed to start our day of sightseeing! Would definitely recommend. Thank you June and Bill.

We had an attic room with external bathroom. Bathroom was fine and our bed was comfortable. Nice little room apart from the fact that there was no storage space. Very small wardrobe and no shelves or proper drawers. There wasn't even room to lay out an open case, or store a case, which made our stay in a small space difficult. There was a sink in the room which was really unnecessary, that space could be better used.

Really welcoming and felt very homely. I felt very safe as I was travelling alone. Breakfast was really nice and nothing was a problem. Local shops in walking distance and the city centre is less than 10 minutes away. You can see the owner really takes pride in her B&B.

Warm welcome, friendly, attentive hosts. Great breakfast, good location within walking distance of city centre yet with local shops and restaurants within yards of house. Clean and comfortable property. Tea and coffee making equipment in room and tv.

As a solo traveler I often get the single room. My only concern is the step down and step up into the en-suite bathroom. I was told to be careful at night so I didn’t stumble. Other than that, the stay was excellent.

June and Bill made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The location of the property is great, a short walk to the city centre. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, super clean with everything we needed to make tea or coffee. Two complementary chocolate bunnies added an even more personal touch to the whole experience. The cooked breakfast in the morningwas delicious. Overall, it was a great experience. Thank you very much!

Warm welcome, massive, spotlessly clean bedroom and new bathroom, toiletries a nice touch. Really comfy bed and quality linen and towels. Plentiful breakfast with quality tablewear and food. Nothing was too much trouble. Fab recommendations given to us about local area and restaurants, especially would recommend Made in Italy round the corner, it was lovely as we were promised. We had a great stay, 100% recommend The Ba Ba, best B and B we’ve stayed in for a while.

Lovely stay with June & Bill. Very homely and couldn't be more accomodating for me as a vegan. The location was about £6 in an Uber to the centre and had lots of amenties around.

Beautiful property, great location, it’s about a 20 minute walk to Chester centre, there are bus stops right outside if you don’t fancy walking. In Hoole there are plenty of pubs and coffee shops, with lovely boutique shops too.

I really enjoyed my stay at Ba Ba Guesthouse. The room was clean and cozy, and it was wonderfully quiet at night. Breakfasts were tasty and hearty, a perfect start to the day! It’s just a 10–12 minute walk from the train station, which is very convenient. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel right at home. I would definitely recommend this place!

I had a fantastic stay at Ba Ba Guest House. The location is perfect close to cafés, restaurants, and convenient amenities. The building has real character and charm, which made the stay feel unique and homely. The standout part of my visit was the hospitality from the owners, Bill and June. They are genuinely the most accommodating hosts I’ve ever met. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, and they were incredibly supportive during some personal matters I was dealing with. Their warmth and kindness made the stay feel safe and welcoming. A traditional bed and breakfast like this far exceeds any Airbnb or chain hotel experience. I highly recommend staying here if you want comfort, character, and truly outstanding hosts.

Bathroom across landing

I had a lovely stay at Ba Ba Guesthouse and my room was just great being on the first floor. I loved the high ceilings and decor in my single ensuite. The owners (June & Bill) were very kind and welcoming. Breakfast was good and kept me going late into the day. The location of the B&B is wonderful with neat shops & restaurants to explore. June was very sweet to give me a map of Chester and answer any questions.

Too short a stay

Authenticiteit van het huis , mooie kamer, heel goed bed, thee/koffie op kamer, haardroger aanwezig, gezellige ontbijt. De host zijn vriendelijk.

Ontbijt: koffie niet lekker (wordt niet vers gezet ) , ze stellen enkel traditioneel Engels ontbijt voor waar je dingen kan uit weglaten. Weinig keuze zeker wanneer je meer dan 1 nacht gaat. Het is niet slecht maar basic.
