Lovely hotel, very close to the medieval castle, old town was equally accessible. Very clean and tidy with very friendly staff. Communication about parking prior to arrival was very helpful.

The hotel has a great location only a few minutes walk from the Citadel. There is a plentiful choice for breakfast and the staff were extremely helpful. The parking garage next door was also very convenient

Not a big deal but the “Terrace” is underwhelming. Just a small space with one table and three chairs shared with an air conditioner unit. Would not recommend promoting this feature.

We loved the view across the rooftops to the medieval city walls. The room was comfortable, clean had a marvellous bathroom. Breakfast was also lovely and the garden was a great place to make a leisurely start to the day.

The spiral staircase can be a bit difficult with baggage and there is no lift.

Perfect location, lots of restaurants and bars in the same street. The hotel was clean and comfortable . The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable.

It was difficult finding the hotel as the street is closed off for traffic. Also, the parking was confusing as we booked parking with the reservation to be told when we arrived that there is free parking a couple of streets away or we could pay extra to park in the hotel garage adjoining the hotel. As it was very hot and had a long journey, we opted to pay the extra 14 euros to park in their garage.

My wife and I stayed for two nights and enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed the panoramic viewing point on third floor and took the opportunity to enjoy a spot of lunch while taking in the view. We had a room with a view of the garden, which was nice and clean. The staff were very helpful, especially with reversing into the garage, pointing out restaurants, and providing breakfast. A nice hotel within easy reach of the Carcassonne City and local restaurants a few doors away.

This is a perfect location for visiting Carcassonne! The staff are super helpful, and gave terrific instructions of how to get to the property in the summer when the street is closed. They also offered parking in their garage which was really helpful. The garden is such a lovely place to sit for a drink and for breakfast. And the rooftop view of the ramparts at night was stunning! Lovely lovely place!

A charming hotel in the heart of Carcassonne. The hotel is located on a pedestrian street, but the staff provide very clear instructions on how to drive up to the property to drop off your luggage. There is also a convenient paid parking garage nearby if needed. One of the highlights of the hotel is definitely the rooftop terrace, which offers a fabulous panoramic view over Carcassonne – a wonderful spot to enjoy the city from above. As the hotel is located in a historic building, our room wasn’t particularly large, but it had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We also enjoyed the lovely view over the main street. Breakfast was excellent, with a generous and varied selection, including gluten-free options. We had breakfast in the beautiful inner courtyard, which is a real little gem and made the experience even more enjoyable. Connected to the hotel there is also a lovely shop selling local food specialities, with plenty of tempting products to discover and take home. The location is perfect for enjoying the city, and the street itself is full of restaurants, so there are plenty of options for dinner just a few steps away. A charming and welcoming place, full of character, in a fantastic location for discovering Carcassonne.

Location was excellent and easy to find. Outside area for breakfast was a huge bonus as was the air con. The staff were extremely helpful and they allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel while we looked around the medieval City which is within walking distance.

Die zentrale Lage unmittelbar vor der Festung war exzellent. Das alte Gebäude war hervorragend gepflegt und vermittelte eine gemütlich angenehme Atmosphäre. Die Ausstattung war modern und gediegen. Die Klimatisierung funktionierte sehr gut. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und vielseitig. Im gepflegten schön angelegten Hofgarten nahm man das Frühstück in wunderbarer Atmosphäre ein. Nicht zu vergessen ist die Aussicht auf die Burg von der Dachterrasse.

Located outside the walls about an eight minute uphill walk to the cite. Small city hotel comfortable for an overnight. Owner was lovely and accommodating and helped with car parking etc as the road outside was closed during the days. Room was comfortable with a decent sized bathroom with shower over bath. Breakfast was typically French taken either in the dining room or in a lovely shaded courtyard terrace. A bonus in a town centre hotel.

Due to the age of the building there wasn’t a lift so it meant taking cases up two flights of winding stairs. Not recommended for anyone with walking issues.

Todo lo positivo en las reseñas anteriores es ciertas. Hotel antiguo, reformado con gusto. Los propietarios son muy simpáticos, buenas personas. Una habitacion bonita y muy limpia, la cama se dormia muy bien. Las vistas espectaculares En el almuerzo, aunque no hay mucha variedad no puede haber mejor calidad. Los croissant recien hechos y sabrosísimos, mucha variedad de mermeladas todas hechas por ellos mismos espectaculares. Tienen tienda donde las venden. Yo no soy mucho de mermeladas y disfrute. Volveré seguro!!! Por cierto que una ubicación excelente , muy cerca del castillo, muchos restaurantes en la misma calle.
