Staff were olesant and the bed was clean
The bathroom was smelly and poorly maintained. The towel rail was silver duck tape the shower head was just hanging on and water was running down the wall when on. Also a lot of black mould around the ceiling
We were on the ground floor and pet friendly
Dirty bathroom, paint over wood chipped alot, mattress thin and noisy, only 2 pins on the kettle plug, but staff replaced straight away, chair wobbly about to collapse, mouldy ceiling in the bathroom
Pet friendly and friendly staff
Mattress, decor old and dated
The receptionist was very friendly cheerful and helpful Check in and out was straightforward
Sink and toilet housing needed replacing. Cracked. No electric socket near bed
Communication with the hotel was great and staff on site helpful and friendly
Cleanliness!!! The room was grubby, the surfaces in the room were sticky, there is a lot of mould in the bathroom. Worst of all was the evidence that the toilet had not been cleaned, brown marks.
weinig
zo’ n beetje alles
Pet freindly
Very dated and poorly maintained. Rust in bathroom, possible leaking sink or toilet, for £89 I would expect the hotel to have a good clean space to the room.
Friendly staff in good location for onward travel
Stained carpets, very poor mattresses, no handle on the door, run down decor with dirt in bathroom and lots of noise through the night.
Nothing
Dirty, not comfortable beds at all, dated, stained, mould in the bathroom walls and ceiling. Absolutely disgusting
Nothing
It was horrible- the bathroom was disgusting and stank out the whole room. The receptionist was chain -smoking too, which made the whole building smell of smoke. Only good thing was the price.
Convenient location, really friendly and helpful staff, facilities of service area available next door
Room was very tired, all surfaces were sticky, one mug still had lip marks on it
Very friendly staff 5*****
Very old, the beds uncomfortable, lot of noises, no privacy, booked fir three nights ,left next day.
Great for tired travellers on the way to the Highlands
The location was very convenient for our stay. The nearby food court offered plenty of dining options, and the hotel was well positioned for our planned itinerary, with most of the places we wanted to visit being within a reasonable and fairly equal driving distance. It made a great base for exploring Scotland and the surrounding areas.
Unfortunately, the room did not meet our expectations and was not good value for money. Cleanliness was a major concern, as the room felt greasy and poorly maintained in several areas. There was no drinking water provided, and when we asked, we were told to use water from the bathroom tap, which was disappointing, especially when travelling as a family. The kettle in the room was also not working. Overall, the accommodation was not suitable or comfortable for a family stay. The photos on the booking website looked much better than what we experienced in reality, so we were very disappointed with the condition of the room. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this Days Inn property to others.
Ideal place to rest head when travelling to Scotland
Comfortable beds and clean toilets with plenty of towels
Staff was not very welcoming Carpet was not vacuumed
The location is good and there is plenty of parking. Reception staff were very pleasant
Very dated and needs a total refurbishment. The towel rail was missing in the bathroom with wall plugs showing where it had been secured. The bed is awful and the springs go every time you move. It wasn’t made up very well which meant the sheet bunched up underneath you overnight. There was an unpleasant smell in the corridor which became stronger overnight in the room. It smelt like stale cigarettes but as it is supposed to be non smoking I’m not sure.
Location
Unclean compared to Premier Inn for the same price
Good location by the main road . Did not have breakfast
The room was clean.
Nothing
Very dirty
Rooms clean, friendly staff and excellent location.
Liked everything!
Due to booking system problems, I booked twice by accident, the receptionist has realised the problem and we had a talk about it and she ask me to make a claim on booking and her manager will refund me a room, I had done that but nothing back to me.
The staff
The room, the bed not comfortable, the carpet is dirty, no toilet brush
Did not have any

Noise from the motorway. I was on the bad side of building
I’ve stayed before and the room was nice, but this time there was a misty smell and mold all over the bathroom

Great location. Short walk to two train stations to enable travel around Glasgow and surrounding areas.

Exceptional staff let down by a lack of investment
I last stayed here 12 years ago for the Commonwealth Games -the mattresses have not been updated since - extremely worn and uncomfortable (I tried 4 beds). The lovely helpful staff, especially housekeeping, must have an up hill battle clearing this tired, unloved trucker’s stop. I hope it receives investment soon.
Nothing
Everything, the room had an unpleasant smell, the bathroom was not cleaned very well.
Great staff, room as expected. Discounts at costa and mcdonalds.
Booking was more expensive than we'd normally pay for this type of hotel but there was a big event on in town.
Only good thing was it was its location.
Didnt get the room I had booked and paid for. Lots of things broken in the room: lamp, chair, bathroom tap. TV didnt work properly. Most negative was the bed! Absolutely terrible sleep and really hurt my back. You can feel the springs. Needs replaced. Ruined my whole night's sleep and up early so not good when driving long distances! Not worth the money.
No breakfast at the hotel. Had to go to Costa or McDonalds . Very near at hand, but not the best breakfast ! Still, it was very near a Country Park, so great for walks in the nice warm weather. Easy access to central Scotland, cities, seaside. Very clean , spacious and open ,and grounds well cared for. Helpful staff too. Just beside the M74, and near to shopping centre . Not far from Airports either. Even a petrol station , cum general store on the premises. All in all, a good stay !
Quite costly, but prices up because of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow/ Edinburgh ! Usually more affordable in normal times . Can't think of any other problems.
Location. Incredibly useful as it lies between two on/off ramps.
Needs an update. The first room I was in was awful, dirty walls, bathroom needed replace. Second room was much better but it’s run on budget provisions.
Better than average motel accommodation.
No sign posting at the service area to the motel parking
Convenient location, quieter than expected considering it was right next to the motorway
Convenient from the motorway. Clean and spacious. Helpful friendly staff.
A bit noisy at times with the window open for the hot weather. Shower was a bit too hot
Friendly staff and extremely helpful a guy gave me a charger for my mobile It had free parking which was great
Tv was odd. Very small compared to most modern places . It aaz very hot although tgd receptionist offered me a fan The water in thd bathroom sink was roasting the cold ond was fine. There was no stopper so washing hands were challenging
Convenient

Terrible mattress. No plugs for my husband’s sleep apnea machine. Pubic hairs on bedding. Rubbish cushions. Would not stay here ever again
Heel basic, maar overall prima voor max. één nacht (doorreizen).
Comfortable clean
Pleasant stay
Staff were fantastic so helpful let me stay in same room for the week and were very good with payments. Absolutely spot on! I’ll be back
The staff here are fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble. I stay here regularly and every time I experience the same high level of service and satisfaction. Smashing staff.
Nothing.

This location is excellent and teh staff are superb but boy it needs some refurbishment. My room was well appointed but sticky furniture and a very worn headboard does not make it the best
Great location for a stopover on a long drive
Young guy on front desk was very helpfull
I cut my finger on a dirty razor that was left on floor dirty socks left on shelf under pillow cigarette ash on window bathroom had to be cleaned as was totally filthy my daughter wasnt well i went to petrol station for calpol at 3am no staff on front desk and front door left open for anyone to enter no clean towels given during stay
Convenient location for a concert
The toilet smelled of wee. The surfaces were sticky. The carpet was dirty
Location. Easy access to motorway and nice dog walk behind property
Dated bathroom. Needed decorating. Noisy but by road so not surprising. Lots of rubbish and over flowing bins outside entrance
Every thing is 24/7 and if you’re a people watcher there is so much happening and so many different accents and languages you really don’t think your in Hamilton
Nothing at all , all the staff seem to be in one big happy bubble and.very friendly.
Motel lungo l'autostrada a pochi km da Glasgow. Servizio in linea con quando immaginato. Personale cortese e disponibile
Location
Very basic room for price charged
Room was good size and clean holtel was handy to get to Wath good parking and friendly staff
The bed you could feel the springs but the shower was a bath aswell and you had to have the shower and bath taps going at same time which Rob the water prasher from the shower the toilet roll holder was all rusted
Location on motorway. Meal voucher.
Tired room. Noisy springs on bed. King size bed would have been better. Bad smell in corridor.
Its location.
The hotel is very dated and the cleanliness whilst in areas such as bathrooms, bedsheets and towels is very good. Such was the dirtiness of the desk area in my room (room 7) if I put the palm of my hand on it, it stuck to it, the same with the very badly marked, worn headboard. The carpets need replacing and some serious redecorating.
Very handy for our stopover en route to the highlands from Somerset. Dog friendly and nice grounds surrounding accommodation. Good large rooms with modern TV’s and lots of stowage space. Very warm welcome from Douglas on reception who was super friendly and helpful.
Lack of decent pillows to prop oneself up with on the bed which are needed as only one chair for two people in room. An easy fix in my opinion.
The location is perfect for heading further north into Scotland.
Very noisy. People in different rooms kept going to other rooms and the security door kept slamming. Also there were people with three dogs in the room next to us that kept barking. No consideration appeared to be given to other guests.
We arrived late due to traffic. It was great to know there was 24hr check in and that we didn't have to worry about timings. We were also greeted by a very welcoming receptionist which was very much appreciated as we had had a horrid journey due to traffic. All we needed was a bed for what ended up being a very short night as we had to leave early the following morning - and for that the Days Inn delivered - right location, no hassle and we got some sleep.
The bed was too soft - not very comfy. The room was basic - not very well cared for. I guess it is to be expected given the location and that it is used mainly as a stop over and because the price is cheap.
Staff were great, very helpful
Mattress was very very soft.
Yes car damaged in car park hotel not interested very noisy not clean⁷
It did exactly what was required. Convenient location, easy access from the motorway. No complaints
This is definitly not a good place to stay
Service and environment

Got attacked by a dog and did t stay as needed to go to hospital
Toilet seat was slack, the kettle leaked water all over the unit. Unless you want a burger for your evening meal then you have to get in your car and drive somewhere. Possibly ok for 1 night but not several nights
The staff were very friendly and helpful
Great facility and staff were nice

This seemed more like a truck stop than a hotel, without onsite food facilities.
Great welcome from staff

Grubby, worn and unusable
The room was fantastic with a extra room for the kids, the fact you can have dogs there is a bonus yes you do have to pay but its only £15 the room was clean and spacious and my god the beds where so comfortable, best nights sleep I've had in a long time the fact you have a 24 hours service right on the door step was even better
The only think which isn't the hotels fault the door only has a chain to lock it from the inside I have a autistic child he loves to run off when he can so we had to put something heavy behind the door to stop him getting out but again the hotel can't help that
Location just before Glasgow good for Lorry drivers
Hard to get a receipt
Convenient, was ok for a one night stop over
Wasp very basic

Outdated , in need of repairs and upgrade . Also in need of cleaning desperately.
