Reviewed Sep 8, 2026the pool was big enough to comfortably swim for a little bit and it was very clean! the grass around was also a plus! the room itself - okay and comfortable size, the ac worked very well, the bathroom was clearly renovated. i was also pleasantly surprised that the room was cleaned every day.
the only small issue was the shower design, glass on the one side, while showering some of the water got out on the floor so i had to be careful but that’s not really an issue.

Abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo la camera con il suo angolo cucina, davvero comodo, e soprattutto il terrazzino con affaccio sulla piscina, perfetto per rilassarsi a fine giornata.

Reviewed Jul 19, 2026Very lovely and helpful staff. I was able to do self-check-in very late at night and it went smooth. Shared facilities are very well taken care of and clean. Amazing pool area with sunbeds and umbrellas. Spacious room, kitchen equipped with all key necessities (including both fridge and freezer), AC in the room (and no extra charges for it, unlike some other hotels on Crete do!). Lovely view from the balcony. Quiet area (no parties or loud traffic around). 3min walk to a large supermarket and to a bus stop that will take you around the island or from/to the airport, and 7min walk to a beach and restaurants area.
WiFi could be a bit faster (but it was still ok and covered all hotel area). Rooms might be a bit updated (but I've seen in the pictures, they have already refurbished some rooms), and I would have loved a full-size mirror.

Reviewed Jul 18, 2026Juste petit point négatif mais l’établissement n’y peux rien, nous étions entouré les 2 derniers jours qui nous restais de 1 bande de 5 garçons et 1 bande de 6 fille , très bruyant rentrait à des 5h du matin , on ne pouvais quasiment plus accéder à la pizcine car ça chahutais beaucoup mais bon ils sont jeune et c’est normal mais voilà ces le seul petite ombre

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026We had a lovely studio apartment with kitchenette, shower room and balcony overlooking the pool, with a sea view. We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay. The family who own the hotel couldn't do enough for us. The maid cleaned 6 times a week and the towels and bedsheets were changed every 3 days. The harbour and all the bars and restaurants were close by. The only down side was the walk back ... all uphill, but a taxi was only 10 euros and easy to get as bar staff would call for you. The Old Town, Hersonissos was also a delight to visit and we had a fabulous meal there. Very reasonably priced day tours were available to book and we had an amazing day, starting with a visit to an olive oil factory, with tasting, visit to Agios Nikolias then on to Elounda for a fantastic boat trip. We swam in the sea, bbq on the boat and then to Spinalonga by boat (the old leper colony). We had some amazing food and met some lovely people and will definitely return ... and stay at The Mastorakis ... thank you to Hercules and family 😊

Фен потрібно просити на рецепції, але це ніяк не змінює позитивне враження.

Reviewed May 30, 2026The apartment itself is pretty minimalistic, but for it's price it's a good offer. It has everything that is needed, and not more. Staff is very nice and helpful. Apartment is always clean - it's cleaned 6 times a week. Everything is working (there was a little issue with a leak in bathroom, bit was fixed in a few hours). Bed is comfortable. I liked the balcony - a nice place to drink coffee. Surroundings are quiet and peaceful. Supermarket and bus stop are nearby - just a few minutes walking. Decent beach is 1 km away. Tourist places are there too. Few other villages are also just 15-20 minutes walk away.
Just some minor issues. Shower is small and not very comfortable Wi-Fi was usually fast enough for everything (30/30 Mbit/s upload and download), but few times it dropped to 5/1 Mbit/s. A few times there were loud neighbors, slamming the doors at 1 a.m. (all the other days no disturbance)

Absence de petit déjeuner, de télé et de grille pain. Le manque d’insonorisation et donc des voisins bruyants qui rentraient au milieu de la nuit. J’ai trouvé étrange et insécurisant que l’hôtel soit ouvert ( porte ouverte) toute la nuit sans surveillance.( personne a l’accueil). Du coup l’hôtel n’est pas meublé dans les espaces communs, cela génère une ambiance très froide.

Das Internet ist teilweise schwach, das scheint aber auf Kreta nicht ungewöhnlich zu sein. Bereits bei der Ankunft gab es Schwierigkeiten mit dem mobilen Internet, das tagelang überhaupt nicht funktionierte. Ob es am örtlichen Provider oder an Blau.de oder an beiden lag, konnte ich nicht herausfinden. Das gehört eigentlich nicht in eine Hotelbewertung und soll lediglich als Hinweis dienen, für mich war es ein permanentes Ärgernis.

Reviewed May 14, 2026Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Mastorakis Hotel. Le personnel a été absolument formidable du début à la fin : toujours souriant, accueillant et disponible. On sent une vraie ambiance familiale et chaleureuse. Un immense merci également à la femme de ménage, qui était vraiment exceptionnelle. La chambre était chaque jour impeccable, parfaitement propre et bien entretenue. Elle avait même de petites attentions adorables pour notre bébé, comme remettre soigneusement sa peluche en évidence pour qu’il puisse la retrouver facilement. Ce sont des détails simples mais qui montrent une vraie gentillesse humaine et rendent le séjour encore plus agréable. Notre fils s’est aussi très vite attaché à la dame de l’accueil, toujours souriante et attentionnée avec lui. Chaque passage à la réception était un petit moment de joie pour lui. L’emplacement de l’hôtel est également idéal : proche de la plage, des restaurants, des commerces et des animations de Hersonissos, tout en restant agréable pour se reposer. L’ambiance générale de l’hôtel est conviviale, calme et rassurante, parfaite aussi bien pour les couples que pour les familles avec enfants. On s’y sent rapidement comme chez soi. Nous repartons avec de très beaux souvenirs de nos vacances en Crète et nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Merci encore à toute l’équipe pour votre gentillesse et votre professionnalisme.

Aivan luokaton sänky! Erittäin kova ja jouset tuntuivat läpi. Verenkierto tuntui loppuvan lonkasta ja asentoa piti vaihtaa jatkuvasti. Onneksi olin reissussa yksin eikä sänkyä ei jakaa kenenkään kanssa. Äänieristystä huoneissa ei ollut, ja vaikka huone olikin siisti, oli pesuaineiden katku niin voimakas, että kärsin ensimmäisen yön astmaoireista. Sijainti varmasti autoilevalle hyvä, mutta yksin matkaavana ei ollut mukava kävellä illalla pilkkopimeää autotietä pitkin ravintoloilta takaisin hotellille.

Salle de bain veillotte à refaire, odeurs d'égouts et balcons ou l'on entend le passage des voitures sur la route principale qui est à proximité. Une fois la porte fermée cependant nous sommes au calme.

La salle d’eau avec wc est petite et mériterait un rafraîchissement. Le bac à douche de petites dimensions ferme avec 1 rideau et il n’y a pas de fenêtre.. la vaisselle est insuffisante (2 verres, 2 assiettes, 2 fourchettes, etc...)

Reviewed Sep 13, 2025Personale molto accogliente. Sempre sorridenti, gentili e disponibili. Buona pulizia generale e della stanza, con cambio lenzuola ed asciugamani quasi tutti i giorni. Spazi comuni puliti e ben organizzati, piscina compresa. Posizione un pò distante dal mare, ma comoda per muoversi in macchina con possibilità di parcheggio anche nella via di fianco alla struttura. Camera di buone dimensioni con balcone. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.
Materassi un pò duri per i nostri standard. L'assenza di un asciugacapelli. La tenda della doccia è molto scomoda e c'è poca acqua calda per lavarsi.
