i liked the event we attended and the lobby area was clean and staff were great

£250 + breakfasts was far to much based on the room facilities, no robe shower pubic hair found in the shower no tea of coffee fatalities based on price paid. Towels on low quality based on money paid . over all disappointed with the accommodation

I had a newborn and needed to express milk and store in the fridge but the fridge wasn’t working upon arrivals, after informing housekeeping and also front desk they just acknowledged but didn’t do anything. It was very stressful as I hardly left the room because I needed to do fresh feeds and couldn’t take prepared bottles out as I normally would. Plus no gluten free options anywhere just gluten free toast as I have celiac disease

Ground floor room was nice and beautifully decorated. I had a lovely few hours in Kalima spa which made me forget the ants

The room had many ants on the desk and then at night me and my husband felt a few ants on us but thought they climbed on us from outside but in the morning the desk had even more ants and we didn’t eat over there. I didn’t report them at night but I did when I woke up at 10 AM and the guest services said they will send someone round but nobody came

Lovely room, very comfy and clean, very spacious.

Check in wasn't as good as previous, felt like a hindrance rather than a valued customer. Also was awoken by cleaners on departure day relatively early, firstly they knocked and then came by later and a loud chime rang in the room. Not great when room check out was in 3 hours time.

Room spacious and had everything we needed including hairdryer and iron and ironing board. Lovely big walk in shower in bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Ten of us had dinner and the food was very good. Very friendly bar staff.

The corridors are very dark and the signage is difficult to read as the lighting is poor.

Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Even though the swimming area is for over 18 and our girls couldn't use it, they had fun playing with the table tennis and football table and every morning walked to the front and watch the cows / bull on the field.

Guest staying at the hotel needed to pay for the swimming and spa area. It would have been nice if it was available to staying over guest.

Handy location for Richmond and Kew

Location for Kew amazing and the restaurant was incredible with such good service and food. Had a terrace which was lovely.

No dressing gowns provided, no cosmetic appliances like in 95% of hotels. And the member of staff on night duty at reception couldn’t be bothered to take time to look for my bottle which I accidentally left when checking in. Luckily the morning shift staff member found it instantly.

Staff was very professional from check-in to check -out everyone was exceptional. Ahmed made my day check-in was smooth at night

Beautiful location with easy parking. Great room - really good size and huge bed. Bathroom also large with bath and separate walk in shower. I didn’t get time to use the hotel facilities but the bar looked good and there was a very pleasant looking area for outdoor seating. Overall a premium feel.

We requested if we could extend stay and pay as had to attend wedding and got stuck in accident.but we were not allowed to stay,rather being asked to vacate the rooms in 10 minutes.

I didn’t like how Booking.com charged me another £50 to take my 4yr old grandson when it’s free for him at the hotel. Yes, you refunded me eventually but it should never have happened in the first place. The hotel was great. Bit of a trek into the city as the Piccadilly Line was closed.

There were loud music coming from the club the first night, we didn't sleep weell, the hotel have refund me £104, to you booking.com, can you please ensure I get back that money paid in my account . Thank you otherwise the trip was great.

Clean and well presented. Staff were efficient and attentive. The young woman who served our diner was lovely and worth every penny she earns.

That you have to pay £25 each to use swimming pool, steam room etc. since when has this been acceptable to charge extra ?

Staff…. Excellent…two went the extra mile. Subin …I think his name is …on the front desk..was very helpful even when under check in pressure on Friday night…from helping with information to help with getting into my room with my luggage ..as I have spinal problems and I am 74. Also a gentleman working on the bar and terrace on Sunday ,who turned down the music for my friend ( also staying at your hotel) who has had brain surgery and has hearing problems…he allowed us to chat and catch up with each other . He did this even though he had criticism from other clients and when they asked why he felt he could not reveal my friends illness out of discretion and privacy. We were staying in rooms 37 and 72. A young lady on Saturday morning was very helpful assisting us to get taxis. Everyone will complain ..but perhaps not enough people praise hardworking staff who go the extra mile.

I would like to say the stay was pleasant however your house keepers aggressive tones need to be looked into. My door was knocked at 9.45 and then again 10.35 at which point I had lost out on sleep due to being so loudly knocked ! As I left the hotel at 11 I also witnessed the aggressive nature of knocking doors continue with other guest. To which one opened the door aggravated then shouted CAN U JUST GIVE ME 5MINS!! I understand you have a strict time frame to clean all rooms HOWEVER check out should be 12noon like many others.

My car was broken into whilst charging, it’s technically not in the hotel car park but next too. Be aware if visiting the hotel it’s a reasonably regular occurrence

The Hotel was excellent, as were at the staff. It was complimented by a good restaurant and food.

The Spa facilities. I went with the impression that the use of the pool was free, but you had to pay for the gym and Spa as it was for over 18s. When we went for a swim we were told that the Gym was free and that you had to pay £25 per person for everything else including the pool for a 2hour period. Unfortunately we never had a swim as my wife and I only like to swim for about 15minutes and thought it just wasn’t worth £50 and we don’t use anything else in the Spa.

The hotel was easy to find and there was plenty of parking. The staff were welcoming, helpful, professional and friendly. The breakfast was buffet style and beautifully presented with a range of food choices. The bedroom was clean and comfortable, we also had a large balcony overlooking the green. The indoor swimming pool and spa facilities were very relaxing and would highly recommend. We visited Kew gardens which is only a 10 minute drive.

The only criticism I have is the room was too hot at night.

I didn’t like this hotel it’s dramatically dropped in standard & im disappointed i stayed here for my anniversary and will not be visiting again. I will also be telling my friends and family this hotel has dramatically dropped in standard and gone up in price

Wasn’t a nice stay

It was my wedding night and I explicitly wrote that on my reservation not even a welcome note not even a single Chocolate as a welcome. I’ve been working in hospitality 15 years of my life and true moments like this mattered a lot. Not even a complimentary drink etc Worse we checked in at 12.30 am and the front desk girl was absolutely cold nothing to make us feel welcome. The worst disappointment ever.

Comfortable hotel close to Kew Gardens and walking trails. Attentive hotel staff. Good pool and sauna. Good breakfast and lattes was tasty and convenient.

TV wasn't working in one of the room came too late to play with only wanted to put on to get radio but didn't work, it should have been checked as part of cleaning part check list. Also breakfast should have been included as part of room cost to make value for money.

Location is fantastic. Complimentary car park is great too. Building is designed well with comfortable seating and modern design throughout.

The biggest disappointment was the customer service. Every single person from the front desk to the bar staff Lacked kindness and politeness. Breakfast staff were great. Example; In the bar area, I went to enquire about the pizza and fries I’d ordered sober 30mins ago for my daughter. The staff member was rude and flustered. He eventually bought over the food, plonked it on the table and left without saying a word. The bar service in the day time was very slow in general. Staff appeared to just brush off several customers rudely when they asked if anyone was free to serve. A customer who told me he was an ex-manager even told me that he’s not happy with the service here. On an extremely hot weekend on 23/24/25 May 2026, the aircon wasn’t working in our room despite an engineer replacing the filter. The arcon also failed in the wedding reception venue we were attending.

There had been a technical glitch with our booking but the assistant and Manager quickly sorted things out for us. Excellent service. The room was spacious and comfortable, and so quiet. Comfortable beds.
