Stayed here on way back from alton towers. Was great for price. Had a sit in curry in stafford in the evening. Had to drive up to the next junction of motorway to get back but only took extra minutes . Got costa and mcdonalds etc on site so was perfect . I'd stay again .

There two days no fresh towels for the second day room Was not cleaned , shower leaked all over the floor , carpet in room was full of stains , and hardly no staff present whenever we would go down to ask clean towels milk tea coffee there was never no one on the desk

Ideal location just off the motorway. Very friendly and welcoming staff (I think her name was Sonia). Room was great, clean, good facilities, easy to park. And excellent value for money. Thank you for a great stay.

Room 5. One plug socket did not work. Light over bed did not work. Tv Bbc1 HD did not work. Corroded lime scale encrusted bath tap. Corrosion on towel rail. Multiple Stains on carpet. Room looked tired.

Being only on the southbound meant i had to do more miles on the M6 than I would have liked.

It was good for a stop over on a long drive 24hr services just outside but very little noise

Location was good for what I needed and the well maintained outdoor area useful. Good size room, comfortable bed, little to no noise.

Bathroom slightly tired. Carpets quite stained but understand it was a dog friendly room. Dog price could be cheaper.

No thrills but low price, and decent value on the whole. Overnight motorway stop over en route to north Scotland, surprisingly quiet - no noise from the motorway could be heard.

Receptionist was efficient and lovely. Convenient on S bound services. Shower was good and heat easy to control. Bathroom was clean and smelt fresh with bleach. Spacious Nice grassy area surrounding motel to exercise dogs. Plenty of bins and nice touches of water and biscuits although didn't use them.

Room tired. Carpet yuk! Bed very uncomfortable. Didn't sleep well at all. Premier inns and travelodge in vicinity much more comfy. Bathroom sealant tatty Adjoining room door i didn't feel happy about but was so tired I assumed would be OK and ignored Lamp to right of mirror not working

Bedroom could have been cleaned better, a bit outdated and the shower leaked and left a puddle on the floor

Convenient to road network

The information stated 24hr reception. This was not correct. After dropping my key to the room on floor on the way out and the door closing and locking it took me over 1/2 hrs to gain access back into the room. There was a bell to call someone but nobody came. I called the Days inn number. There wasn’t an option to discuss the problem. I ended talking to someone in room booking. He was very helpful and tried to resolve the problem. Unfortunately all he could say was the reception would be open at 3pm. This incident happened at 07:50 hrs Eventually an employee arrived with a bunch of keys. She had driven in from her home. I was inconvenienced but my concern was if a child had been locked in the room or there had been an emergency what processes are in place. I’ve used the accommodation a few times but won’t be anymore. I would like to have a response to this issue

It had no AC, window opened about 5 cm and it was impossible to cool the room down. If window had opened further it would have been fine. I know its for safety in case we are smart enough to drive and book and get to the hotel, but not smart enough not to launch ourselves headlong out the window by mistake. It should be possible to disengage the child lock for people without children who are able to process some basic risk assessment and trade offs. In this hotel it rendered the room a feckin furnace overnight. Most uncomfortable but beyond the control of the staff who were very efficient and helpful.

For the price the hotel gave us what we needed, a place for a quick rest while travelling.

It wasn't very clean, there was a funny smell in the building. Kettle was dirty on the inside so we didn't want to use it to boil water for our baby's bottles. Luckily I was on a service stop off so there were places next door. Posters about a voucher for breakfast but no one was on the desk when we checked out.

The staff are great and very helpful.

No central ventilation system in the ensuite or room. A fan is provided, but it’s humid. Not their fault, no rear entrance, you must use the M6 junctions to come and go.

The receptionist was extremely helpful, especially as we arrived very late. Also the family room was so spacious Iv never seen that in a hotel before.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like, it just is quite dated rather than modern. That’s the only thing I could point out if I had to.

The room was very spacious.

There was no lift in the hotel. We didnt know this so had to carry heavy cases and bags up the stairs. Both adults have bad backs so this was not ideal. One of the beds wasnt comfortable as dipped in the middle. The bathroom door was extremely squeaky. Both times we went to the desk there was nobody there.

location : in middle of nowhere . i asked management and booking.com if i can reduce the stay . hotel was extremely adamanat and not flexible and i had to stay . i had 2 young kids and there was no choice of restaurant except mcdonalds . it was on motorway and hardly any uber came . i wasted my three days

A good basic hotel for our needs, obviously not the best but was clean, comfortable and ticked all the boxes for the price.

Location is a bit difficult as only accessible from south side of M6 and obviously nothing near by except the services. But we knew this before and worked fine for our needs.

We did find a pair of pants under one of the beds. The reception staff was lovely when dealing with them though.

Location was good for our visit to a local car show and not too noisy being nr the motorway.

Only thing that let it down was there wasnt any hot water coming from the shower and hot water tap. Needed milk for the hot drinks in the morning and nobody was there to deal with it.

The whole services area absolutely stank of raw sewage, it was inescapable, including in hotel room. The room was uncomfortably hot with no air con. The services were very limited, just a McDonald’s and a WH Smith, and the EV charging is rubbish.

Staff were very professional.and helpful, room was clean and comfortable - everything was exactly as needed and as expected.

Rooms were a bit dated and not the most cleanest

This was our second stay and stopped for 2 nights. The lady at check in was friendly and efficient and made sure we signed in the car for 2 days free parking. The room was spotlessly clean which is our main priority. The bed was comfy and we had everything we required, including a fan as we needed it during this warm weather spell. When I required more tea and milk, I just asked and it was provided, no problem. It’s also very handy for the adjoining services. When we are visiting family again in future. We’ll make this our base.

The room layout was a wonderful surprise. We had the family room and instead of all the beds being crammed into one space as we usually get in motels, the kids' beds were in a separate space. The 10 year old was happy to have space to run around after a long car journey! Bed was super comfortable - it was genuinely the first night in a very long time when I have not woken up with back pain. But the very best thing was the AMAZING shower - it was like having a massage! If I had a shower that powerful at home then my life would be complete! Staff were also lovely and welcoming.

Yes, okay the carpets and chairs could do with an update but all the plus points outweighed this aspect for me.

The toilet wouldn’t flush and was leaking. Brown liquid was seeping from the cracks between the floor tiles when walked on. The room was foul smelling. The level of cleanliness was disgusting, and to top it off my 4 yr old found a sticky bottle of durex lube on the floor. Thoroughly disgusting, reported to staff who insultingly thanked me for the feedback. Would not recommend.

The room was fine, the beds were comfortable, the staff were lovely and welcoming. It stated that this hotel was 2.2 miles from Stone where we had a wedding but it was in fact 15 miles down a motorway so what we thought would be a 5 minute taxi ride actually coat us £38, if we knew this we wouldn't have booked. Very misleading. Otherwise was good.

The location and that it stated 2.2 miles from Stone which it was across farmers fields but actually driving it was 15 miles so cost us nearly £50 in taxis there and back, thought this was mis advertising

Breakfast is very expensive even with the money off. Should have some options of basic breaksfast on site like cereal or toast so customers don't have to pay extortionate prices in the services

It was all good

The property was Clean and comfortable and the receptionist put me in the first ground floor room with a handrail in the bath because she was aware I had back problems. The receptionist was friendly and patiently listened to my problems, I feel she was compassionate and went above the call of duty. A lovely, kind lady.

I forgot to mention to reception that the window catch was loose and needed a screw to secure it.

Sonia on reception is amazing. Very helpful, thoughtful and smiley. So nice to see after a long drive and accommodating for my dog. Thank you

It is getting a little tired but this is more than made up for by the staff, good sized rooms and fan supplied for the heat wave.
