Awesome breakfast and staff, central location.

Very low water pressure in shower

The staff were lovely. The room was basic but clean, nice enough for one night.

No mini fridge in the room. Apparently there was a fridge outside , down stairs outside . Not really convenient , also not sure I want to keep our drinks wine where everyone else can help themselves.

It was located in a very convenient place. The amenities were great...the bed was comfortable. The staff were nice and explained everything on arrival. All in all, we had a very positive experience.

I was in the top room next to the main road and the road noise jn the room was very, very loud. This room should be noise-insulated better or rented out at a discount to the other rooms.

The breakfast is excellent, and the staff are all very friendly. It's a lovely place to stay and the rooms are comfortable.

Quite a bit of light leakage into the rooms which would be an easy fix with bigger/better blinds.

The location is walkable to the busy area, the room is quite quiet. Coffee and teas are available at common area which is good. Plenty of parking available. When we heard loud music from common area (directly above), things get resolved quickly. The bed and pillows are great.

Die Lage der Lodge zum Ort ist sehr gut. Die Betten waren bequem, das Frühstück war schmackhaft und nach unseren Geschmack ebenfalls sehr gut.

Das Zimmer war sehr klein.

We had a wonderful stay here! We especially wanted to mention the breakfast - we only mentioned that we needed vegan options once during check-in, but the staff was incredibly attentive and provided us with a delicious vegan breakfast the next morning. We really appreciated that they remembered our preference without us having to ask again. It made our trip feel so much more personal and welcoming."

Location, cleanliness, and staff

Lodge was very cosy and cute, we very much enjoyed our stay here - we actually ended up extending our stay another night because we loved it so much. Very close to the town centre and shops by foot, parking available at the front or side street near by. Room and bathroom was pretty standard - nice, neat and comfy. Spa booking system was also great so you didn't need to share with other guests. Breakfast options were limited but was cooked fresh and still very lovely. Overall great value for money!

Room was a little difficult to keep warm and the bed was a little lumpy. But general facilities in the room were excellent and the morning breakfast (which we paid to have included) was excellent in the general dining area. The staff were extremely friendly, the Spa was great, and we loved the lounge area for reading and chilling out, whilst snacking on cup-cakes left out for guests to enjoy.

The breeze coming through the bottom of the door was unfortunate, and didn't help in keeping the room warm (noting we were in Wanaka in the middle of winter where it gets below zero overnight).

La réceptionniste pas très accueillante. On a l'impression de la déranger plutôt qu'autre chose. Ne faites pas de machine à laver chez eux, le local est salle et en désordre. L’hôtel et les clients utilisent les mêmes machines. J’ai dû sortir les affaires de l’hôtel pour sécher mon linge car personne venait les récupérer. Le sèche linge était sale, on a du le nettoyer avant de s'en servir.

The cramped room, which for the price I paid was a poor example of hospitality. The dark hair on the shower wall- I have short blond hair, there was no indication of multiple sets of stairs to climb which with a case was a problem. Welcome was perfunctory.

Location was great close to food trucks and central

The rooms are very small; the breakfast was minimal with a choice of a pancake with the cereal. There were no facilities for tea and coffee in the room

Perfect location, very very clean rooms.

Stayed in the “cottage” #4. Very dated and in need of a deep clean and refresh. The shower drain was stuck closed and had to be pried up to drain it and the drain was full of disgusting black mold and crud. Shower wall was degrading and brown. The hot tub was without extra towels. The breakfast is meh, although the woman making breakfast was very sweet, unlike the manager who checked us in and acted as if we were a burden for being there. Absolutely no parking. You have to park in the adjacent mall’s car park. Not close to the lake and no view. The pictures are not representative of the place at all.

Was a bit tricky taking luggage up narrow stairs and as they are outdoors they are a bit slippery. Not ideal for older persons

Wonderful staff, especially the lady who prepared and served our breakfast. The shower water pressure was very satisfying.

The room heating was barely adequate because we had it on the highest heat setting. It may need servicing. The limited parking space worried us.

Location is great and it is near to restaurants and shopping.

Wish there is a mirror outside the bathroom. Mattress were too springy and not comfortable. Breakfast was with limited choice - only poached eggs and bacon and toast bread and jam, butter. Bed size is small.

Convenient location and friendly staff. Complementary espresso coffee. Room has all you need.

Soundproofing could have been better but other guests were respectful and not noisy.

I had booked a room at another establishment but when I arrived I was not happy, I found Te Wanaka right across the street and had a wonderful and relaxing stay. Bridget and Shane were accommodating and made me feel welcome. The room was well laid out, spacious and clean. They also serve a very good morning breakfast. I liked it so much that I rearranged my trip schedule to come back.

Bed had sloping mattress. Cold room took ages to heat up.

Great location, cosy lounges and communal areas with guest hot tub under verandah. Bed was comfortable and shower hot! We loved the free breakfast in the main dining communal areas with guest. Staff were happy cooking bacon and eggs for everyone. Also a selection of cereal, fruit and toast! The property had a very warm and friendly feel and our room was quiet overnight!

Only thing I can say is bed was under a window and the blind had a gap at the bottom where we had a light shining through

Staff are amazing. Breakfast is really good. We had scrambled eggs and bacon 1st day and 2nd da was eggs Benedict. Plenty cereals fruit juice, there is a room where you can use microwave and has free tea and coffee. Hot tub is available 1/2 slots. Rooms really comfy beds. Perfect location can walk to lake and the tree. Also cinema would recommend 3 min walk- they have the most delicious cookies at half time

We had a lovely room, comfy bed. The shower was warm and plentiful BUT the floor was flooded as the drain wasn't in the lowest point and so water just went everywhere. I'd be asking the installer to remedy this as the bathroom was lovely otherwise.

We loved that the Te Wanaka Lodge was in close proximity to all of the restaurants and shops. The staff was also super helpful and there was parking on site.

Very pleasant accomodation in a great location in Wanaka. The guest lounge room and breakfast room were great to use and the delicious pancakes for breakfast were a bonus!

Shane was fantastic, very helpful,we loved How cosy it was and how close to everything it was.
