Great location. Easy walk into town. Plenty of options to choose. Restaurant's, Coffee, Drinks and the beautiful Wanaka Lake.

Weekends in Wanaka are busy. Midweek visit would have been better.

Fantastic central location, close to restaurants and cafes. Spacious unit. Excellent water pressure. Electric blanket and plenty of additional bedding. Great instructions for details about the apartment and local recommendations.

Reasonably steep driveway to back in or out of. Main bedroom on the smaller side with the hot water heater occupying half the wardrobe space.

Online check in which made the process smooth and quick. Generally well equipped kitchen, large heated toilet, spacious living/dining area.

Tight parking and one of the beds was next to the door and near the kitchen.

The location, hostess and all facilities in the motel abd the surroundings were amazing.

Nothing to not like, only suggestion if possible would be to provide body lotions in the rooms especially during winter. As we were travelling we did not carry due to the weight. Its not a big deal, only a suggestion.

Excellent location and very friendly staff. Great room size, loved the shower. Also the TV was great quality! Lovely view from the room.

Parking is first come, first serve. The beds were a bit firm for me but my friend liked it!

No slippers. The bed was too soft. The heater is a litle bit loud.

Not a lot. Reception staff advised they gave us an upgrade to a 1 bedroom apartment which was incorrect as that's what we paid for initially.

Room was at the end of the Motel which was located next to a busy road. Morel was not full so could have put us in a quieter room

A great spot. Only a short and easy walk into town. And the environmental eye candy is exceptional. The rooms were clean and the kitchen well appointed. Well worth the stay. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

The motel is conveniently located at the top of the main business street. We were able to get parking at the motel for all of our stay.

Maybe the people who own this motel also have another motel. They say the office is manned between 0800 and 1800 daily. Sometimes we didn't find an office person available. We initially had difficulty contacting a cleaner for a room service. The room cleaning was poor. Lots of dusty surfaces. Floors dirty. We took photos of grubby floors and showed them to the cleaning person, and she immediately went and got a steam mop to clean them. My wife asked for a vacuum cleaner to clean the carpet herself. As we were leaving the next day, we didn't bother to complain about the dusting, but we have photos of the problems. Also, the first-floor walkway has no protection from the weather so if you have bags to carry to the first floor and it is raining you will likely get wet. On this business trip we were on the road 5 weeks and stayed in 20 different hotels/motels. About a third of the motels and had cleaning issues. I feel it is time that local authorities implement a clean score for motels to ensure they are fit for purpose.

It was a handy location to walk into town, had a new shower and water pressure was good.

Building is a bit tired, lots of chipped paintwork and old light fittings.

We received a nice friendly welcome. The staff were very helpful. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed including netflix. The location was wonderful, close to town, the food trucks and movies, and was right next to pretty little walkway. The laundry service was actually very handy.

Upon arrival we had an empty hand soap canister, there were very few power points and we found the bedroom and bathroom very small. There was a lack of places to put things. Room service was optional which we actually liked however on the one day that we did put our sign out indicating that we would like a service we unfortunately didn't get one.

Spacious well equipped and well laid out 2 bedroom apartment with a full kitchen and living room. Plenty of natural light, spacious and comfortable.

A bit of a drive out of town centre, too far to walk, but that was more than made up for by the great room.

I think the cost of this hotel is overpriced for the Very Basic accommodations. Similar properties in New Zealand were less expensive. Even larger hotels were less expensive.

Location is perfect - within walking distance of shops and a supermarket and the waterfront. Even on a busy weekend (A and P show on)n I found it quiet - it is separated from other businesses by a peaceful wood and creek with a walkway through it - which no-one seems to use! The room is soundproof - the place was full but I didn't hear any neighbours. As mentioned before there is parking for each unit, but it's a bit of a squeeze down the driveway if you have to back out. Deluxe studio king bed is v comfortable. Good shower pressure and hot water.

I thought there was a laundry for personal use on site, but there isn't. The owner will do a wash for you, or there is a public laundry down the road. The hotplates take forever to heart up (maybe I've been spoiled with induction) and the frypans do not sit flat on the surface of them. No broom or dustpan to clean up the kitchen floor myself - I stayed 4 days and didn't have the room serviced so would have been nice to have a floor broom.

Perfect location for centre of town. Easy walk to everything including walk tracks leading into town the water front. Room spacious and clean. Owners most helpful especially when we had to disturb them after losing our room from our jacket whilst hiking.

Alana and Scott, the people running the property, are terrific hosts. Very friendly and accommodating, they helped us when our daughter had an accident during a road trip and we had to bring her back to clean up. They are the highlight of our stay, thank you.

Really nice location, helpful staff and a great view across the town to the lake. Walking distance to the town centre, and food truck locations just across the road.

Just a small niggle: We stayed in a room with a separate bedroom and a bed in the lounge - my only problem was that staying in the lounge light came in through the window in the front door (blinking xmas lights were strung along the balcony outside). Perhaps either set them to non-blinking or turn them off at night?

Wanaka is a lovely town and the hotel was well located for access to all shops, restaurants and the lake

Flashing Christmas lights up the stairs made it look like the emergency services were visiting all night and needed the kitchen and bathroom doors closed to be able to sleep

Location was great and the owner was very kind and helpful.

We had a strong pungent smell in one of our rooms we booked. This meant we couldn't use that room much. The owner tried to clean it up but the smell remained during the course of our 4 day stay
