Breakfast was not served. They didn’t mention at the check in . There is no one in the office while checking in . Write down on the door phone number . Next day Power light gone in the morning. It could be better . This place needs more staff. Thank you

There's nothing wrong with the place. I don't know why it has a low rating. Perhaps the Reno's just occurred. Room was clean,furnishings updated, has a micro and coffee maker, aircon works well.

They don't have a free breakfast anymore, but it's not an issue. The location is good, so you can walk to the Starbucks or Dennys or dq.

The room was dirty ,we only had one channel on our t.v. when we went to talk to the manager he was very defensive and accused of walking around the building. We were wondering why the kitchen was shut down. It was due to plumbing issues. No complementary breakfast like it said. Would not recommend this place.

The bed is so soft you sink 1-2ft into it which made for a terrible sleep. The room was heavily perfumed and needed airing out. Staff didn't seem friendly at all. Breakfast is non-existant.

The front door had been kicked in previously, the wall beside the door was broken . The toilet hardly flushed. The tub was broken , the shower hardly worked . The wall beside the sink had blood on it . The bathroom had broken tiles and was dirty.the patrons there were so stoned and passed out numerous time in the front . There was absolutely no house keeping , they gave us two towels for a four day stay for the four of us . We had spilled a coffee in the tiled floor and cleaned it up with their towel and required them to be cleaned but received zero service. We bought our own blankets and towels. Very bad experience . Would never recommend to anyone . Ever . And the bathroom door wouldn’t close .

The location was central with lots of dining options in close proximity. The hanging baskets are stunning. The staff are very kind and flexible. Enough parking

The rooms are exceptionally dated and need some updating. The beds were comfortable enough but the blanket was a bit scratchy. Updating rooms needs to happen. Otherwise, if you just need a place to sleep totally worth it imo

The in-room coffee package was very stale and tasted like dark water. We stayed in a Queen Studio with Two Queen Beds, which includes a kitchen. However, the kitchen was not properly equipped— not even cups provided. In addition, the reservation was for three guests, but the room was stocked with only two paper cups for coffee and two sets of towels.

They never gave my 100 dollar deposit back! The place was in shambles, bathroom door didn't close right and the closet door was right out of place leaning inside the closet. Can't believe they didn't even refund my deposit!!

If I could give a -5 I would. First off no one in the office when we arrived, had to Waite for them to come from who knows where. 2- no breakfast they are renovating ( stop work order on door) 3- the tube is old, paint peeling. 4-the picture that they show you online that is false advertising.( maybe when it was brand new ) it look like that. 5-all furniture should be in a museum. 6- you got to put up with the pot smokers. Gag me

The location. For being on a main highway it was quiet. It was worm and dry .

It could have been cleaner . The bed was clean and the bathroom was ok the towels were clean . The walls and appliances needed to be cleaned The room was tired everything was old and seen better days .

An OK place for a couple of nights and reasonably priced. Also it has a laundry which was very convenient.

The room was frozen when we first got in the room 🥶. Very crowded around bed area ,couldn't access the closet due to bed right in front of closet doors .. Bathtub was Very Slippery when you showered, was no bathtub mat

The room was not maintained or cleaned well. The tap in the sink leaked, the bathtub had rust stains, the floors were not clean, curtains were dirty and did not close completely, hair dryer did not work, the bathroom fan caused a smell when turned on, the bed was very soggy and uncomfortable. There was no continental breakfast, or pool/hottub access as was advertised.

The first room they put me in had not been cleaned(besides the floors) stains, hair and BLOOD on the bed sheets. Other people's poop on the toilet, balls of hair in shower. I asked to me moved rooms as it seemed they forgot to clean this one in between guests. The manager did switch me to a room that was a bit more clean(still pretty gross but sheets and toilet seemed clean) but I did not notice until late the next day once i was long gone .that HE CHARGED ME FOR TWO ROOMS because of that. Not to mention there was a lady screaming and swearing somewhere in the building for about 7 hours straight. I have traveled in many different countries and I'm not picky, this is the worst place I have seen and I have never asked to be moved rooms before anywhere else. Do not go here, there are plenty of great hotels within 2 mins of this place. I booked this last min the same day due to work and it was an absolute mistake. Econolodge next door is a similar price and is great, go there instead.

My goal was to find one night accommodation for less than 100 CDN … I did so and it is a shame that the quality is so much less than over $100. The floors were clean and the bed was comfortable enough. The fridge worked and did not make a loud noise. Was able to achieve a good sleeping temp by turning the hear below 20

A stop work order re plumbing… I chose not to try the shower bc the shower head was mostly black … not silver in colour. Chips and blemishes on most above ground items including the bathtub, counters, heating unit … in total it didn’t feel clean

TV stopped working, key didnt open pool area. AC fllter completely plugged so no AC until i pulled out filter in middle of the night as everyone was roasting. They need to take some pride in their business

When my wife and I arrived there was no one at the front desk so I looked around the property to see if there was any staff. There were some long term residents. One of them called the front desk clerk on her phone. After waiting 45 minutes he finally let us in the office. When we confronted him he was very rude and acted like it wasn't his problem. We will never stay there again.

When there’s TWO “Stop Work” orders posted (in 2 different locations), and at 9 pm at night there’s a worker pounding on the wall outside my room WORKING on the Hotel installing something🤔

This hotel is horrible. It was EXTREAMLY dirty inside the room and the property. There was many broken items in the room as well. Very Very strongly don't recommend this hotel.

Air conditioning is not working properly and the room has smelled

Stayed Aug 23-25 -check in process is ridiculous. Had to phone a number written on a post -it to get clerk to come back to office. No choice on room I got. Had to pay whole stay upfront (before even getting key) -Worker pounding on wall outside our room at 9 pm repairing something. Considering there is two signs on 2 different walls for a STOP WORK ORDER, I’m guessing that’s why they working so late (when an inspector won’t be on duty to see it?)🤔 Manish’ the clerk looks like he would just adjust his headset and get in his car and leave if the place was on fire. -Loud A/C unit - as soon as we entered the room, my wife and I always check for damage by others before us. There is a burn from someone who smoked in this NON SMOKING ROOM on the night stand and her lamp on her side of bed tilts to the side(see picture included)we took a video of it. We always document evidence (so they don’t try to charge us for it) The website shows a place for what I’m guess WAS a continental breakfast. I saw it days ago as breakfast on site(now it’s been removed) There is a sign on the door to it in lobby saying it’s closed due to repairs. -Would have liked more than 3 pillows on bed - half the towels other Hotels have in bathroom -parking was ok - no elevators -drop slot in door for your room keys upon checkout(another post it note on door saying no one there until 9)Even then, probably will have to call Manish after 9 and he will eventually come?🤔

We checked in and went to room after long day driving. The bathroom had hair on floor and sink and leftover bottle of shampoo on edge of tub.

Nobody was at the front desk in the evening or the morning. The room was not clean and it said it was a non smoking room but smelled really strong of smoke.

It is VERY dated, there was a "stop work order" pinned to the front office window, beds were definitely old, AC is in the wall by the bathroom and VERY loud. Staff was friendly tho.

They do have an office which is occupied at check in time. Calling direct always led to a voice messaging service. Owner needs to unlock the pool and that inconvenience had me avoiding those facilities. They accomodated an early checkin and it suited our purposes of a couple night stay.

There was no continental breakfast as advertised, scraps of garbage behind bedside table, limited access to plug in for charging, cigarette burn on dated tub, unclean table & area for sitting outside, limited lighting & 40 wt bulb in a tri-light, air conditioner unstable, tub taps run continuously…overall ick!

Canada's best value inn Vernon BC. The experience was horrible. Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Sink was cracked, bath tub dirty, floor was dirty TV did not work for most of the stay. It also said continental breakfast was included, but could not even find where it was. floor was dirty. No one ever in the office to voice my concerns too.

The room you get is not the same as the pictures. It smelled of urine and old smoke. There were mouse droppings in the floor. I didn’t even stay the night, have pictures of it all and am just mortified. They wouldn’t even refund after all that.

I had to wait 20min for the desk clerk to come back somewhere to check me in, no one was watching the hotel before i arrived. When he did arrive, he sqeeled to a stop, double parking across the handicap spot, then jumped out in a wife beater and signed me while clearly annoyed at my presence. As for the room, it was in rough shape. Dirty coffee maker, stained yellow shower curtain, traces of black mold in the dressers, and the power kept going on and off. On the positive side, the bed was clean, the AC worked well, and it was reasonably quiet. In summery, not the worst but definitely has room for improvement

The pool had hair floating on top and it didn't look like filter was moving water. No towels @ pool. AC not cold. Stayed 2 nights. Took out own garbage. Bed comfortable. Had to move night table to plug in lamp - room very dark unless curtains open. Good restaurants and Safeway nearby. Chairs in barbecue area dirty.

Toilet didn’t work properly. Tub was dirty. Floors we unswept. It had a strong odor of bleach. Hair dryer didn’t work.

Stay was enjoyable aside from the strong cucumber smell and shower that felt like you could pull it off from the wall

Street appearance not bad. Always a note in lobby--back in 5 minutes. Room was small, not really clean and quite shabby. Rooms were occupied by sketchy looking folks. There was a truck in the parking lot with someone living in it. Nice that these folk had their own swimming pool. No working ice machine and pop machine had a hole burned into the front window. Scariest was electrical. The switch at door would not turn bed light off and nothing on lamp to turn it off so we removed the bulb. A note posted on side window of office and on a room window . This note was from the city of Kelowna stating there was to be not work done by plumbers etc. Don't know what it meant but looked very offical with a warning of huge fine if violated. Should have moved but very busy Saturday night

I wish I had read the reviews before booking. Don't come here, spend the extra $$ and go anywhere else.

Though the price is very affordable, and we were only staying one night, I couldn’t get past the strong chemical and weed smell in the room. The place is definitely outdated. AC kicked in and out. We decided to leave. Due to policy, no refund given; they offered us another room but we just couldn’t stay.

Discovery of cockroaches in the room. There was no breakfast despite advertised other wise. The way in and out is very precarious being on the main highway.

I would have given it a minus rating but it’s not possible. The place looks like it should be closed down for sanitary reasons. There was a hole under the sink that looks large enough to fit a rat through it. When we woke up in the morning and it was quiet we heard something running really fast in the room/in the wall. I highly recommend to not book anything here. The drawer from the night stand it almost fell when I opened it. This place needs a big investment to upgrade it. The two star rating that it has it’s too generous. We booked two nights initially. We only stayed for one night. We booked another hotel for the second night.

absolutely nothing went well. it was the worst place I have ever stayed.

it was so dirty and grimy that I wouldn't even let my little dog sit on the couch. disgusting. the kitchen was full of grime and dead bugs, as was the bathroom. bedsheets were not changed, full of black flakey crumbs and someone else's body hair. the smell in the room was horrendous. the curtains were thick with grime, hadn't been cleaned in decades. luckily I had camping gear in my jeep and I was able to blow up a mattress and use sleeping bags to sleep on the floor in the kitchen. paid for 2 nights, stayed for only one. parking lot was full of junkies, half of the doors to the rooms were open. scuzziest, slimiest place to spend the night in Vernon. the photos are a lie. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!

It was a very pleasant stay. Manish helped us in every possible way, which made our stay very pleasant. The room was clean, everything needed was arranged properly.

The hot tub and pool and sauna were not sanitary for use. The a/c in the room took approx 4-6hrs to cool the room down. Just a stay and go place as it is on the main route.
