Gutes Frühstück, gepflegtes Hotel. Unser Zimmer mit Hafenblick war in Ordnung, aber nicht überragend. Das Bad überwiegend aus Kunststoff, und der Teppich mit deutlichen Gebrauchsspuren. Aber grundsätzlich sauber, das Personal freundlich mit hervorragendem Service. Schöne Dachterrasse. Von unserem Fenster konnten wir ein Feuerwerk bewundern. Gute Lage mit eigenem Parkplatz, praktisch wenn man mit der Autofähre fahren möchte.

I have been to Japan for over a dozen times, and this is probably the best hotel I ever stayed in the country. While located on a rural region, the hotel was fairly modern, and was totally western themed. (If you rather want to stay in a Japanese styled place, they have a sister hotel called Shiojitei). You can tell the difference as you step into the lobby. All the staff here were proud and professional. They knew they work for a great hotel and they strive to do their job right. Not many hotels in Japan hold such attitude these days. Even 5 star hotels in big cities can sometimes sloppy about their service, especially after they know you are a foreigner. So I'm really impressed to observe this level of professionalism in a rural region. I decided to splurge it and booked an Ocean View Suite. Turned out it was the best choice I made in this entire trip. The room was wonderful, which large windows providing a panoramic ocean view. The interior was a lot nicer and refined than I expected. Very modern. They even have motorized curtains which I've never seen in Japan before. They also provided the most comfortable slippers I've ever worn. It was the first time I took used disposable slippers home because they were simply too good. I think they did every detail right and was one of the very few hotels I stayed these days that are not trying to cut the corners in observable manner. Ocean View Suites are at club level, so all the drinks in the fridge were free. Guests also got access to the club lounge, which I must say was an amazing place. They had many tasty food and drink options there that almost makes it a buffet restaurant by itself, and the place was pretty quiet with a nice ocean view too. For dinner I opt to eat in their main dining room, which served French food. The food was good, the service was good, the view was good. They kept giving me different types of breads because they thought the food portion wouldn't be enough for me, but I was half full already after visiting the club lounge. It was a wonderful experience. The breakfast was a buffet for everyone. It wasn't a very large buffet, but it came with some exotic dishes like lobster bisque and omelettes with abalone sauce. If you have access to the club lounge, you will be seated in the club lounge and has access to the club lounge food in addition to the main buffet (Most hotels would only allow you to use the club lounge). That was really a lot of food! The hotel is built above a cliff that looks into the sea. They have a Instagram worthy terrace right outside of the lobby for picture taking. If you want to use the hot spring, you can use the one in their sister hotel, Shiojitei. They are happy to drive you there but it's also walkable from the first floor of the Harbor Wing (via a safe, private road). The view outside of Shiojitei was also very nice at night. Just beware there are lots of bugs in Summer. Overall I think this hotel was outstanding in almost every way. I was very amazed that they were able to kept the service standard so high while providing a modern, luxury stay at a rural corner of Japan. And above all, the price was fairly reasonable for what they provide. It's a hotel I look forward to stay again.

素晴らしい。何もかもが完璧でした。スタッフの知識の豊富さとおもてなしの心。人生初めての鳥羽、最高の時間が過ごせました。次回もしも伊勢方面の旅行があるならばこのホテル以外考えられない程素晴らしかったです。 ホテルの売店にホテルオリジナルミキモトの商品が色々ありましたが、色々買ってしまいました。売店も魅力的なものがたくさん売っていて楽しめました。夜のバーも最高に素敵でした。スタッフの男性が素晴らしかったです。

I stayed at Toba International Hotel for one night after spending two nights at NEMU RESORT in Kashikojima. The hotel was closer to Toba Station than I had expected, making it very convenient to access. One thing to note is that the hotel facilities are spread across three separate buildings, which can be a little confusing at first. If you would like to use the onsen, you need to walk to Shiojitei, the hotel’s traditional Japanese-style ryokan. The food was excellent throughout my stay. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and showcased local ingredients. For dinner, I chose the authentic Japanese course meal, which was a wonderful experience. The rice cooked in a Banko-yaki clay pot, a traditional pottery style from Mie Prefecture, was particularly memorable and exceeded my expectations.

I seldom write reviews, but this is an exceptionally hotel so much that I need to break my silence and write such review. I was staying in their hotel mid may'26. The only downside (as to everywhere in Japan), is that Japanese communication seemed to be the highest huddle between the me and their staff. Although, I must comment that they tried their very very best to help me, every single time I asked for her. I have been travelling a lot and staying at a lot of hotel (in this trip itself, I stayed at 5 hotels). Toba International Hotel is the one that I cannot forget .... literally!!! The location was great... the shuttle bus was really helpful... the service was exceptional. I really have no other words to describe their helpfulness. I remembered an incident during the first day of my trip in Toba, I went down to the lobby and asked for direction to Mikimoto Pearl Island and a man (I presumed to be the manager) , he tried to guide me and advise me to take the shuttle bus. After a while, he called me and my wife up and say "follow me" , Inside me I was thinking he would drive the company van to Toba station ... so I followed him. The manager dropped off a few pax at shinsoteh hotel (they share the hot spring) , after which the manager DROPED US DIRECTLY OUTSIDE OF MIKIMOTO PEARL ISLAND !!! I was astounded, the level of service was literally unseen anywhere else !!! he even suggested us to try some local food, which of course we did !!! It was AMAZING !!!! sadly, during the 2nd day, I didnt see the man anymore and forgot to catch his name, but seriously... I have NEVER seen such exceptional service in my life as a tourist ! The rooms were very well kept, views were extremely nice , the hot springs were speechless, it will make your skin shinny after the hot springs. It's a must have, I kid you not !!! I will definitely want to visit again, I do not think that any other hotels would provide the same kind of service , or even match whatever that Toba has provided.. Additionally, when you leave the hotel by shuttle bus... the duty managers, bell boy and staff would wave and bow at your bus !!! Kudos to Toba International Hotel, I would not only provide my thumbs up but also my toes up as well (mind the smelliness), if that counts...

朝食、夕食は普通で特に伊勢の特色が出ているとは思えなかった。 申し込み時のホテル案内はもう少し詳細が必要とおもう。イメージとは違った。

スタッフの方たちの、接客はとても丁寧で親切。帰る時には、並んで笑顔でのお見送りいただき、嬉しかったです。また泊まりたくなりました。 特に朝食はメニュー豊富で、どれも美味しい。 地元産の食材を使い、優しいお味でした。取りやすく小分けにしてあり、高齢の母親も、残さず食べられることがありがたかったです。落ち着いて美味しく食べられました。

お部屋の設備は、少し古さを感じました。

Service was excellent and staff was very helpful. The view of the harbour and the sea from the room and lounge is unbeatable.

The last hotel shuttle bus departs at 6pm from the Toba station, and it's kind of difficult to find a taxi after that time for travellers with large luggages. Although you could walk up to the hotel, it is uphill.

Gorgeous hilltop location overlooking the sea, nice views even from mountain-facing rooms. Hotel exterior and shared spaces are very modern. Staff was friendly and helpful. Toba is a cool little town, enjoyed the local izakayas. We stayed here for the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka and Toba was perfect for that, but I wish I'd booked a couple extra days to explore the area before moving on.

Was looking forward to using onsen but it doesn't allow tattoos (hotel welcome letter: "Drunks and persons with tattoos may not enter"!), which is pretty common in Japan but changing, and an international hotel should probably update their policy. Rooms and especially bathrooms are a bit dated compared to rest of hotel.

I love the view from my room and the meals. I love the free shuttle service.

THe room is comfortable, and the view is great!

Although the room had been renovated, the bathroom and toilet fixtures were still quite old style, and there was no soap on the bathroom counter. In terms of hygiene, the water glasses used for both dinner and breakfast had a noticeable strange odor (like a dishcloth). Since we found this issue during both breakfast and dinner, that are included in our stay plan, we informed the front desk staff about this issue. The staff said they would notify the restaurant department, but the glasses still smelled like a dishcloth the next day. As for service, the staff's attitudes varied. The porters and restaurant staff were very friendly, and some of the front desk staff were very kind, while one of them was more aloof. However, a common issue was that communication in English was difficult, and a few service staff would visibly react negatively when addressed in English. I've been stayed in Toba International Hotel 4 times. I really enjoyed the environment and service previously and I even recommended it to my friends. I felt so disappointed realizing they do not really care about basic hygiene issues.

Loved the room and the amazing view. We had been on the road a few days and felt pampered arriving here. The pyjamas nearly fit me!

There was one thing that wasn't great. We went downstairs for a drink and something to eat as we didn't feel like leaving the hotel. 6.30 pm on a Wednesday night. Everything was closed except for two fancy restaurants with very expensive menus. No bar. No snacks. No room service....and the shuttle into town had finished for the day. I was pretty disappointed considering the status of the hotel. We had to go out in the night and find ourselves a meal. If we had known we could have planned around it. Its not like 6.30pm is late...

何よりもスタッフの方々がとても素晴らしかった！朝食は美味しかった。 海の景色がとても綺麗だった。近くの大浴場がとても良かった。

以前子供と宿泊した時にとても良かったので、今回は疲れを癒したくて 1人で訪れました。とても楽しみにしていたのですが、お部屋がタバコのヤニのような匂いでくつろげませんでした。残念です。

飯店的服務非常好，原本我們預約了17:30吃晚餐，因為塞車加上迷路，到的時候已經17:40了，櫃台幫我們把大行李都送到房間，讓我們先去吃飯，期間家人的行李不小心有水滴出來，他們也都幫忙處理，還幫忙冰了我媽買的伴手禮，真的是非常感謝! 晚餐我們是吃西餐廳，每一道都非常精緻非常好吃，早餐的龍蝦湯更是好喝到都停不下來，飯店外面的海景也非常美，在房間就可以看到日出，真的不愧是天皇和女王到訪過的飯店，非常推薦大家來入住

飯店沒有溫泉很可惜，要到隔壁去泡，因為外面實在太冷了，要再搭接駁車過去實在很麻煩 另外房間三人住真的偏小

I first stayed at this property 15 years ago, so wanted to stay here again on my anniversary trip to Toba. This time, I took advantage of the hotel shuttle that picks guests up from the station and transports you up the hill to the hotel. Also, the first time I stayed here in 2011, I didn’t know about the neighboring ryokan run by the hotel that features a hot Spring hotel guests can use. There are two different hot springs that use Mikimoto pearl products that make your skin feel fantastic! And because it was winter, they were doing marshmallow toasting in the lobby. I love that the rooms have a table and chairs overlooking the bay, it’s a perfect spot to unwind with a glass of wine or sake at the end of the day. Breakfast buffet had ample selections, although some of the items weren’t hot (this was towards the end of the service). Outstanding customer service.

Note that there are two different wings, the harbor wing and the ocean wing, the buildings do connect via a passageway, but I did get turned around at first. The first floor passageway that connects the two has some very interesting historic photos of emperors and famous visitors to the hotel.

以前から予約させて頂いた、 クリスマスイブ、 夕食無しのプランで予約してましたが、 当日どこも狙いは外し、 御ホテルコンシェルジュに連絡したところ 席を確保してくれました！ 本当に感謝です！ それでいてご飯最高でした！ ありがとうございました！

費用の割に、景色の悪い部屋に通された。目の前に大きな木があり、ほとんど海の景色を楽しめなかった。 費用対効果は悪かった。

Das Frühstück war fantastisch, sehr große Auswahl, tolle Qualität, super Ausblick aus dem Frühstücksraum; insgesamt sehr zuvor kommender Service, Shuttle zum/vom Bahnhof; sehr gute Lage mit grandiosem Ausblick von der Außenterrasse; gute Ausstattung im sehr großen Zimmer; das japanische Restaurant im Hotel war ebenfalls fantastisch

das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und die Zimmer bedürfen einer Auffrischung; Teppiche und Möbel müssen raus, dann ist das Raumklima auch wieder besser; zum Glück konnten wir lüften

- if you are international, be aware that there really isn’t anything to do in Toba. The onsen at the hotel, which is the main and possibly only feature, will not allow you if you have any tattoos (no exceptions), the hotel is located up a hill away from the sleepy town. When you go into the town there is not much to do. We thought we might go kayaking but my partner is 6,6 and over 90kg and the website says no one over 90kg can kayak. We decided to leave a day early simply to not waste time. We looked up the views for the Aquarium (not that we would go) and the reviews were distressing due to animal welfare issues.
