Reviewed Sep 19, 2026女将さんが優しかった。 おもてなしされた感があった。 チェックアウトの時におにぎりをもらえて嬉しかった。 帰りには私の姿が見えなくなるまで、見送ってくれてそれも嬉しかったです。
お風呂の湯加減がもう少し熱かったら良かった。風呂イスとおけが木でなくプラスチックだと良かった。

Era tutto perfetto. Come letto su altre recensioni si vedono gli anno della struttura, ma solo in quanto ha un po' di anni, ma in realtà tutto funziona, tutto è pulito e tutto è molto autentico

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026鳥羽駅や鳥羽水族館に近く、車が無くても徒歩で行けて大変便利でした。また、伊勢神宮までの直通のバスが鳥羽駅から出ているので、参拝に行くのにも便利でした。女将さんやスタッフさん方のご対応が懇切丁寧で、夕食の海鮮が大変豪華で牡蠣も大きく、伊勢神宮御料酒の白鷹とも合い、地元の美味しいものを沢山いただけて満足です。出発前にいただいたおにぎりも心がこもっていて、美味しくいただきました。
長い歴史を感じる建物で、ホテルというよりまるで田舎の祖父母の家のような懐かしい印象を受けました。ピカピカの設備を求める方は、きっと別のホテルの方が良いだろうなと思われます。この点は好みが分かれるところだろうなと思いました。

Reviewed Aug 12, 2026Les propriétaires et le personnel sont aux petits soîs et vraiment adorables! L’auberge est très bien située à deux pas de la gare, de l’aquarium et de l’île aux perles. Le Kaito Yumin Club juste à côté propose des activités kayak et visite d’unr ama hut. Petit dejeuner délicieux, et nous avons adoré les onigiri.

建物は昭和時代で、エレベーターは楽部屋までスリッパを履いて上がらなければならなかった。が、荷物は中井さんが部屋まで運んでくれた。風呂は手すりもなく、温度が非常に高くて、怖くて入れなかった。部屋の風呂にした。

Reviewed Jul 11, 2026鳥羽水族館から歩いて行ける距離にあり、便利でした。 また、今回素泊まりにも関わらずチェックアウトの際におにぎりをいただきましたが、とても美味しかったです。
部屋に当たりハズレがあるのか時期の問題だったのか、部屋のドアと畳の部屋の間のスペースに小バエが4〜5匹いて、入った瞬間びっくりしました。今まで様々な宿に泊まったことがあり、こちらより安い価格の宿にも何度か泊まったことはありますが、こんなに虫がたくさんな所は初めてでした。 小さい子どもも一緒だったので、小バエが畳の部屋に入ってこないか宿泊中ずっと気になってしまいました。 大浴場の脱衣所にも別の虫がいました。他の家族は「大浴場のシャワーはお湯が出ない場所とチョロチョロと出てくる場所しかない」と言っていました。 綺麗にされてるよう努力は見えましたが、要所要所の古さは気になりました。よく言えば「レトロ」ですが…。 また、素泊まりは現金のみとなります。Bookingのシステム上の問題や自分の確認不足かもしれませんが、予約の時点ではカードが使えるもの・予約後のメールも行間のせいかてっきり宿泊税だけが現金だと思い込んでいたので他の方のレビューを見て救われました。 以上、他の方の評価が高かっただけに残念な宿泊体験でした。

We were greeted by the loveliest host, swapped our shoes for slippers at the front door, and shown to our room which was huge with a view of the sea! The BnB is ideally located near the train station and ferry terminal. There is also a bath on the top floor and the women’s side has a view of the sea as well. I think the most heartwarming part of our stay is that, as we checked out, the host handed us a foil- covered, Ziplocked parcel of onigiri.

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026服務很好，續住2天，回飯店時老闆娘都會說，4樓澡堂熱水已經放好了，由於幾乎沒人使用，我們就直接包場囉！ 房間有茶具和日本綠茶茶葉可以泡，風味很好。床鋪原本以為是榻榻米鋪床，結果是帶插頭和床頭燈的彈簧床，好舒服呀❤️ 早餐是在地物產很好吃，服務的阿姨一直幫我們添飯，好怕我們沒吃飽🤣 離開飯店時老闆娘每個人會給2個飯糰外帶，真的很貼心感動，有一種回日本娘家的感覺。 感謝老闆娘這兩天的照顧❤️

Reviewed Jun 12, 2026駅から徒歩５分弱 鳥羽水族館 ミキモト真珠島 徒歩3分から５分とかなり立地がよいです。 女将さんが 温かく お客さんが今日は少ないからと 共用バスルームの部屋での予約だったのを バス・トイレ付きの部屋に変更して下さり 翌朝 出かける時に おにぎりを２個ずつ お土産に頂き 温かい気持ちになりました。とても 美味しかったです。
男風呂と女風呂が廊下の右と左で 向かい合わせで ちょっとドキドキ！ 鍵付きの貴重品入れがあると良いと思います。

Reviewed Jun 10, 2026The traditional Japanese breakfast was nothing extraordinary, but it was good and satisfying. Every morning, Okami-san gave us onigiri to take with us for lunch, which was a very thoughtful gesture and one of the most memorable parts of our stay. You can't experience this kind of warm, family-like hospitality at a hotel. It's something unique to a ryokan. Yes, the facility is quite old, but it has an irreplaceable charm and character. The ryokan is very close to Toba Station and within easy walking distance. There is also an udon restaurant called Nanakoshi Chaya nearby, which I highly recommend. We also visited Sazanami Toba, which is famous for its giant deep-fried shrimp, but we found it a bit too large and heavy. Personally, we preferred the shrimp tempura at Nanakoshi Chaya.
It's a very old building and facility, so if you're looking for a modern and comfortable place to stay, I wouldn't recommend it. Unfortunately, Toba seems to be losing some of its charm as more shops close down.

Reviewed May 25, 2026The owner and her mother were very welcoming, friendly and kind. I had a spacious room with a view of the sea. Very comfortable and clean with everything I needed. Breakfast was generous and delicious Japanese style, including cook-your-own bacon and egg. I appreciated the unexpected packed lunch, a couple of homemade onigiri, I was given each day. A very relaxing place to stay for a couple of nights and convenient for the train and bus station.

お風呂の天井が気になった。建物が古かったので仕方ないことだと思うが。

設備が古い、ということくらいでしょうか。 トイレが昔ながらで便座が冷たいので、交換してくれたら嬉しいな。

They were really very kind and attentive. Furthermore, the location is ideal for visiting Pearl Island (just a few minutes' walk away) and other fabulous places accessible by train, such as the Futami Okitama Shrine and Ise Jingu.

Even with a communication barrier (and my poor duolingo Japanese) we were still able to navigate conversations well. The Mie prefecture is known for its seafood, Ama divers and pearls. It did not disappoint. Fun fact Oshawott is the official Pokemon mascot for Mie prefecture
This is not in regards to the accomidation at all, rather for forgieners to be aware. We stayed during the beginning of Golden week. A lot of the shops were closed and it seemed like a bit of a ghost town. Toba is beautiful and i hope it was just because of the time of year we came. If this accomidation was located in Ise I would stay here everytime I visited Mie prefecture.

We are greeted by both the mom and daughter who.help us with everything from getting luggages to.our room to making all good recommendations for local activities. The hotel is also within walking distance of the Pearl Island and Toba station. The room is sizable and comfortable.

Reviewed Apr 19, 2026A wonderful, welcoming, and traditional Japanese stay. A little tired, but the room was spacious and light with everything we needed. The table was set with tea and the house slippers were supplied and our shoes lined up for our use at the door. Kiku's rice balls were a lunchtime life-saver at times, we were so surprised and grateful for this. Great location with wonderful restaurants and access to Toba on your doorstep.
The pillows were a bit hard for our soft Western heads :)

A young lady helped us to book the lunch in the Ama hat as we didn't succeed in booking in line. Beautiful place and experience.
They didn't tell us that there was an Onsen at the fourth floor of the hotel ...

Reviewed Mar 23, 2026A wonderful stay for anyone wanting a traditional Japanese ryokan experience. Kaigetsu is a historic property with a lot of character and charm. Although the building is old, the bathroom felt very new and well updated, which made the stay even more comfortable. We stayed in an excellent room with a lovely tatami sitting area and a tea space, which made the experience feel especially authentic and relaxing. The view was not completely open, but we could still see the sea, which was very nice. The bedding was good quality, clean, and comfortable. The location is excellent, just a few minutes’ walk from the station, which made everything very convenient. They also provide the traditional Japanese robes, which added to the charm of the stay. The Japanese-style breakfast was very complete and carefully prepared. Overall, it was a very special experience and a great choice for anyone looking to enjoy the atmosphere of a historical ryokan.

Reviewed Mar 15, 2026老舗旅館をリノベーションしているお宿で、値段も比較的お安く、普通に快適です。朝ごはんがおいしく、女将さんが気さくで親切です。チェックアウト時におにぎり（新海苔を巻いた）をいただきました。美味しかったです。
強いて言えばテレビが小さいくらいですが、Wi-Fiはあり、見ることはないので全く影響はないはありません。

Reviewed Mar 2, 20261泊素泊まりで利用させていただきました。出発時にお手製のおにぎりを持たせていただいたり、出発時に目的地までの道案内までしていただいたりと心遣いがありがたかったです。普段ビジネスホテルばかり利用しているので、新鮮な体験ができました。今回は時間の関係で素泊まりにしたのですが、また鳥羽に来る機会があれば、ぜひ食事つきプランで宿泊したいと思います。 周辺の土地勘がなかったのと公共交通機関の下調べが甘かったため、到着が遅くなってしまったりとこちらがご迷惑をかけてしまい申し訳なかったです。普段レビューを書くことはあまりないのですが、宿泊施設の方のお人柄が大変良く、はじめての鳥羽観光の思い出になりましたので長文で書かせていただきました。
宿泊施設の問題ではないですが、周辺の飲食店の営業終了時間が早めなので注意が必要です。また、一番近い鳥羽駅のコンビニも20時で閉まってしまいます。

Reviewed Mar 2, 2026Such a great local Japanese Ryokan. I have lived in Japan for 28 years and this place ranks up at the top. The owners are the sweetest in the world. And the homemade rice balls when you check out are the icing on the cake. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone going to Toba!
