Grande suite avec laveuse-sécheuse. La première chambre que j'ai eu, il n'y avait pas la laveuse. L'employée m'a immédiatement changé de chambre. Très propre.

The location was great. Close to everything we needed. Close to Mill Lake for walks. It was nice to have a kitchenette, and the table and chairs. We liked having laundry facilities in our room. It was nice to have a balcony. The shower was nice.

The carpet was gross. Big stains right at the entrance...I didn't want to take my shoes off. The bathtub tiles were dirty. The bedroom was crowded with a desk and chair. The bed wasn't that comfortable and the pillows were small. There was only 2 of each size dish and minimal cutlery...so why bother having a dishwasher? The cabinets throughout are looking rough. Overall it needs updating.

The location is very good for us. There is no traffic noise.

Room was spacious which was nice. Place was clean. It was quiet, but I believe this was largely thanks to not being very busy. If there are people next door I think the walls would block sound like paper. Shower had decent pressure which was much appreciated. No odd cleaner smells or residual smoke smells in the room itself. For the price it was decent value. Overall happy.

Location is odd. It did not feel unsafe at all, but definitely a variety of people at all times with small kids hanging out and scattered on balconies. WiFi required providing personal info, which seems odd for a hotel- why not ask my room number and name? Not all my personal info all over, so didn’t use it. The one service lady was short and direct, not very warm.

This hotel is a hard recommend because it was a mess from beginning to end. Luckily, we were only passing through on the way to Kelowna and only stayed for the night. * Albeit we checked in pretty late, but there was no one at the front desk for 15 minutes and no way to signal that we were waiting, while we waited around. They did upgrade us to a suite, which was nice and we appreciated how spacious the room was. * The shower was malfunctioning and didn’t work. It was late night so we let it be but thankfully in the morning, they sent out a technician to fix it quickly. * There was some mold on the showers. * The towels were thin, reminded me of the ones I used as a broke college student. Probably would not stay here again.

Huge room with separate ‘living room’, washing machine and full kitchen - amazing for the price

Not so clean, clear marks on table in front of sofa (probably hard to remove) and carpets are not suitable for barefoot usage (if you care how that feels on your feet). Breakfast not available, a few options with hotel discount are next to the hotel. For breakfast I can recommend the ‘Little Sprout Cafe’ (a very short drive away), if you want something made with a little more care.

Great experience! I checked in without a reservation, and the front desk agent, Suabh was very sweet and helpful. She made my reservation on the spot and even upgraded us to a Premium Suite at no extra charge. The room was spacious and exceeded my expectations.

Fabulous apartment spacious comfortable and very well equipped. The washer and dryer were a real bonus as we were 2/3rds the way through our trip it was much needed. Also 2 restaurants on site.

There were people outside our window being incredibly loud. We couldn't get any sleep that night. We got there at 10pm and by 1am we realized how awful of a situation it was anf I went to the reception desk to see if we can switch rooms or find any type of solution. I waited at the front desk for 10min, called out a few times and no one showed up. We ended up leaving the place immediately after that.

Good amenities, like the balcony. The king bed was comfortable.

My daughter and I came from a long drive from Edmonton , tonight she got sick and I called front desk. Ryan was so fast bringing things up to us and even came back within minutes with more. When I was checking in, I left my phone at the front desk. They answered the phone when it rang (it was my son) and let him know that my phone was there so he could let me know and not freak out.

The location was ideal. The restaurants were delicious and very reasonably affordable, the cuisine delicious at the Aromas Bistro, the staff there were exceptionally friendly as well. The 2 for 1 prices on the feature menu were excellent and the food was delicious. Ample parking at the hotel as well.

The hotel rooms could have been cleaner, but they weren’t horrible (I’m very particular when it comes to cleanliness). The main areas are clean (bathroom, bedroom, elevator, fridge; but the table tops and counters in our suite were dirty) Tip: Wear your shoes in the rooms as the carpets are dirty.

Ask for extra night and was given a rate for the room and I agreed to pay and an hour later received a phone call saying that the rate had increased by more than $100! I didn’t except change and checked out the next morning never to return in the future.

Very comfortable, clean room with nice kitchen facilites and walkability to restaurants and services in the area. The staff and managment at this location were very helpful and engaged answering any questions we had about the area and this hotel is very pet friendly.

Our room was dirty! Hair in the bathtub, finger prints, smudges and glass rings all over the kitchen and furniture.

Our room is big but very poor in cleanliness. All the tables and countertops haven’t been cleaned and wiped in weeks. I can see fingerprints, and smudges all over the wall. Carpet needs to be updated it looks really old so you can’t even tell if it’s vacuumed at all. Smelled musty.

We just stayed at the Sandman on Simon Avenue in Abbotsford. We liked the layout of the room but it was not clean. All of the hard surfaces obviously hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Lots of hand prints and smudges on every table, end table and kitchen counter. Greasy hand prints on the wall. All of the interior doors squeaked loudly. The carpets didn't look clean either. It makes wonder if the bedding had been properly cleaned. At least the bedding appeared to be clean. When we brought this to the staff's attention on checkout they simply said they would make a note of it and let the cleaning and maintenance staff know.

There wasn't breakfast unless we were not aware of it. We liked the amenities in the room. It was very comfortable. We were able to do laundry after a long trip, and make snacks. The kitchen was well equipped. Loved the fireplace.

I had never stayed at a Sandman, and what brought me to this one was merely because it was close to my sister's home. However, my week-long stay in one of the suites turned out to be quite wonderful. Granted, I got an amazing price on my room thanks to a Black Friday sale, but not being able to stay with my sister, getting a suite was amazing, as the kitchen was a great size and almost fully stocked, the king bed was very comfortable and having a washer/dryer was excellent. Not to mention that there is a 24-hour Denny's right on the property and a Super Store for all your grocery needs right across the street. As the room initially only came with one detergent tab for the dishwasher, I did buy liquid detergent, which I left and will hopefully be there for the next guest. Hopefully the salt and pepper will be left, as well, not to mention the large 20oz glass I purchased, as the kitchen only had smaller glasses. It was not perfect, but as far as a clean, comfortable home-away-from-home for a week, this Sandman rose above my expectation. Extremely friendly staff, convenient location and hits all the needs one could want.

My only complaint is the cook top was filthy, it needed to be cleaned.

Breakfast is Denny’s so not free. Room was clean.

WiFi was poor quality. Rooms are dated, outlets hidden behind furniture. Use of space is weird, random closet of empty space for no reason

Loved the suite layout and awesome kitchen. The take away coffee cups with lids is a nice touch. We spent the evening on the bakcony after enjoying the Aroma restaurant across the parking lot where we gir a 20% discount for staying at Sandman.

Very spacious and comfortable

We have stayed here in the past and couldn't wait for another opportunity to come back. Its a lovely hotel with fantastic rooms. I would definitely come back, can't wait to be able to stay longer to take advantage of all the amenities.

selfishly, I wish they had a laundry soap and dryer sheets available in the room and maybe more towels. We had a little noise being on the backside of the hotel but it was fine.

The room was so spacious and had everything I needed! It felt like a little apartment and made for such a comfortable stay for my business trip. I would definitely stay here again! Lots of restaurants nearby as well.
