Good location

The double room my daughter and her boyfriend had. Was certainly not a double room. The bed was very uncomfy and one side of the bed was broke.

We both have disabilities and had to climb 4 sets of stairs to get to the room and could close room window as it was jammed open

It was in a great location, the room and clean and cosy.

The beds were really comfy,and the towels smelled nice the location was great for what we wanted short walk to the prom,waterpark and other places.

Our room was not clean,the shower was filthy as was the toilet and sink,there was rubbish underneath the bunk beds,our curtian rail was broken as was the bathroom doorhandle,there was rubbish in our bin and something on our toilet seat,nothing had been dusted and the mirror had a love heart drawn on it from the previous guests,the bar was never open and the free parking is first come first served, I think the landlady overheard me talking about how no one had asked if we need anything and if all is ok as 20 seconds later she knocked,my husband had already took the rubbish out,this was on day 4 of our holiday! The bathroom is small which is ok apart from when brushing ur teeth you can't bend down or you hit your head on the glass shelf,there are no coat pegs to hang a jacket on and no bedside cabinets as not enough room .

The location of the hotel was near to everything you needed and close to the trams for other locations 👍👍

Didn't have breakfast, booked room only. The room was clean and comfortable, we have no issues for the money we paid, especially with free parking. We didn't move the car because public transport was so close. Also there was a Wetherspoons at the end of the road.

Could have done better with draws and wardrobe, they were a bit rickety.

Property was quiet and conveniently nearer the bigger Wetherspoons , Malcolm was lovely and couldn’t do more if he tried

Rooms weren’t the biggest but fair for the price, kettles could do with updating

The toulet made a lot of noise in room 8 and was loud at night and the toilet seat needs tightening as my Mrs nearly fell off the toilet

Didnt answer door. Actually took out batteries from doorbell after I arrived. Was informed chap had waited 3 hours to get an answer. Accomodated by othrr property in street. Was excellent.

Dont own a property if you dont want people there.

Very close to South pier and beach only 2 mins walk, room had all I needed, the owner and her son were very helpful, the hotel was off main traffic so was very quiet at night and my fellow hotel guests were also quiet.

There was nothing too dislike . Great value for money.

I like the area is very close to everything the hotel is smart bedding are clean. And I've been working in my father's hotel so it was great to find out of this hotel that is so clean smart everything in the position. But they need to make sure that the trays are clean

I didn't like the bathroom was so small and when I opened the shower I didn't know that the hot water can just come so fast there was no way to run in that tiny bathroom and shower head need to be fixed.but they are doing well thank having sharing bathroom and toilet.There was noise children praying football at the back of right hotel and the women was laughing early in the morning I think they were group of customers staying there making noise for the best of all try to write about noise that this place is quite area because some other people they book hotel to rest from noise they just need quite space to rest.

Location pretty good as right next to South Pier & a very good Wetherspoons. Parking OK but very tight getting down the drive. If we had taken our normal family car it would not have gone through the gap.

The light switch did not work in the bathroom. We managed with the main light however it meant that the extract fan did not come on when showering. On the Sunday water was coming through the ceiling of the family room we had booked for our grown up children. Apparently there was a plumber fixing the shower in the room above. No other twin room available. The water did stop.

The TV wasn’t working no satellite as my daughter wanted to watch something

We were put in an attic type room, the young man who let us was pleasant and when he realised our ages said he might be able to allocate us a different room. We said it was okay as we are reasonably fit, but later realised the tv had no signal, the WiFi was intermittent and the bed was dreadful, we never slept for two nights, the bedding looked as if it had seen better days and so did the towels. Bath mat in toilet had stain on it, so we weren’t sure if it was clean or not. There is tea and coffee available but no breakfast, however Wetherspoon is just over the road so that wasn’t a problem. Room we were in was very small, we never saw anyone else while we were there and had to call the young man who let us in by phone if we needed anything, which I found was worrying in the case of an emergency.

The bed was comfortable

The double room is a double bed in a single room. Not enough space for 2 people. Bar was never open. Room not properly cleaned, can of hairspray from previous occupants behind bedside table.

It was close to where I needed to be on the south shore.

The room was not what I was shown on booking .com I booked because it showed a double room, single occupancy on 1st floor, what I got was a small double on 3rd floor, & the shower had no running hot water, the young man said he would get a plumber out to sort it, this did not happen at all , so on day 2 I asked if there was a vacant room with shower available I could use he said yes so on day 2 after travelling for 7hrs all the way from Portugal on day 1 I finally got my hot shower but still had to stay in the original room, day 3 shower still not fixed so had to use shower on floor below again 😡 I will not be reccomending this place to anyone. For £50 pr night + breakfast I stayed an extra 2 nights in the Esplinade hotel opposite the big Blue hotel in a 1st class double room with shower, double view windows of the big one ride & from the other widow a wonderful sea view the facilities were 1st class, attention to detail a lovely bar/entertainment room & pool room & free car parking, wonderful attentive family run host's.

The hotel was closed so had to find alternative accommodation

The room was small but functional and the hotel was pleasant. The hotel is brilliantly situated, about 100 yards behind The Velvet Coaster (Wetherspoons), ideal for the seafront, South Pier and Pleasure Beach. No breakfast but with many eateries near-bye that was ok. There is a bit of on street parking and a small car park (not suitable for cars wider than a super-mini) at the rear.

Despite having a bar and communal areas these hadn't been used for a long time. Some of the fittings were broken.

Under new ownership and found room bit dusty to be honest and also front windows really dirty.

There was no staff in the hotel over night or in the morning . We seemed to be the only guests in the hotel which didn't feel safe . Had to call someone to see where to leave the key when leaving and as told to just leave it on the hall table and they would get it when they came .

The hotel offered free parking, and was in a good location. The room was nice and clean, and was warm. A nice welcome on arrival

Although there was hot water, unfortunately it was just a trickle. No chance of a shower, the water just trickled through. Shower looked brand new, this possibly explains why. We were only there for two nights, would've been no good for a longer stay.

Was close the main walk close to amenities easy access to food drink and various shops and entertainment

Room had very little room to move around in. The shower had came off its runner and was so small it was difficult to wash properly in without knocking the thermostatic valve for the shower so got scolded a couple of times. Room I was in was meant to have large double bed and a sea view. The room itself faced the wrong way for a sea view and I could see the back ally not the sea.

Location is great and lovely clean room. Comfy bed, coffee and tea facilities, bath towels supplied.

The fact we had to knock really loud to get anyone to answer the door upon arrival The woman who greeted us wasn't particularly chatty. Shower head kept on dropping down when you were using it so you had to keep on adjusting it which could be difficult with shampoo in your eyes. No hand towel in the bathroom. Wi-fi kept on disconnecting all time.

The bar was never open,the room was not cleaned while we were there(3 days) one roll of toilet paper given for entire stay.

Scruffy and run down

The room was meant to be a family room and you could even get an adult in comfortable let alone adults and kids Room wasn’t ready , room had dirty sheets on bed and on floor near side of double bed was Donna meet and crisp off previous people , told owner and he said would get cleaner too sort and it never happened , my baby who is 8m old was Expected to sleep on a buck bed that was Dirty we just arrived home and bathed her and she has bites on her urgent care said flea bites .

The place was a joke bed was half in front of the window the heating didn't work shower was terrible we got half a toilet roll we accidentally set off the fire alarm as our iron blew up nobody came to check seen the guy when we arrived didn't see him again they say they do breakfast they don't the bar was closed all the time absolute waste of money stay away

we didn't see anybody from the hotel for the 3 days of our stay. We were the only people in the hotel, including the staff. When we arrived there was I women who said we were not booked in, she then checked and said that yes were booked in and we had paid for our stay, if we hadn't paid we wouldn't have stayed. She asked us to come back in 2 hours when she gave us our keys, we didn't see anybody after the first day.

Room was not available, despite it being a new booking. Parking is permit only. Requested a refund, but they took my money and ignored all messages.

We arrived, the hotel looked abandoned from the outside. The doorbell didn’t work so had to telephone to be let in. The card machine wasn’t working. The place had a bad smell. The shower didn’t work, and the room was too small for a family room. We had to leave due to being unfit to stay with 2 small children.
