Comfortable and clean. Entertainment is brilliant 👏 👌

Mooi uitzicht over zee. Ontbijt was beperkt in assortiment (voornamelijk full English breakfast) maar wel goed. Staf was vriendelijk.

Het is allemaal wat gedateerd. Bed was smal voor twee personen.

Really good choice of food. Breakfast and evening meals. And good times. Our room didn’t have a nice view. But we was put on the ground floor which was better for our circumstances. Room service was very good.plenty of lovely clean white towels and bedding. Also very warm.

Bed was too high as mattress very deep and then had another duvet on top. Fell off once as it was easy to roll off. Nowhere to get hold of to help you ip onto the bed. Bath had shower over. Bath was too high to get into. Coikd not lift leg high enough. Was offered a room with walk in shower to use, but thus had steps up and then down to room

No sockets next to bed, mould stained tiles in bathroom, everything else was clean but was quite disappointed that there was only 1 double socket in the whole room. Had a door near us that had a intercom being pressed buzzing until after 11 at night. Didn't think the room was worth what we paid, stayed in cheaper accommodation before in blackpool which was a nicer room. I think the hotel is aimed at the much older generation. Dont like to leave negative comments but we wouldn't book again

The room we stayed in wasn't nice very clostophobic the carpets need removing and the runner and little pillow on bed and only a double socket in room

Dinner, a very good selection. Breakfast, there was food and drinks to suit every taste, excellent. Room was a good size, bed was clean and very comfortable. Shower was what we stipulated what we required, a step in shower.

The only thing that bothers me,was the amount of stairs we had to ascend and descend in getting to our room after going to and fro from the lift, but this was minor, as we knew what to expect,as this was our fourth visit to the Viking Hotel.

Staff were good,entertainment was good,prices competable,breakfast was really nice.

Evening meals were too much of a muchness ,needs more variety.

Our room was too warm plus the bed was uncomfortable, hotel internal signage could do with a overall. This was our first visit found it difficult to find our way around.

Room wasn't cleaned thoroughly after last occupants. Mattress needed changing it was ok in the middle but not around the sides no lights near wardrobe hard to see inside of wardrobe if visually impaired. Friday night was spoilt by a couple of drunks should have been asked to leave concert room

Really disappointed both bars shut early - one at 5.00pm the other at 8.00 pm meaning a trek downstairs for drinks.

It is in a great location. Receptionist Michelle was excellent.

The property may be challenging for elderly guests or those with limited mobility, as some rooms are accessed via stairs and there is limited accessibility. Additionally, some of the canteen staff were unprofessional and, at times, quite rude. There were instances of staff raising their voices across the restaurant at guests, becoming unnecessarily involved in guests’ personal matters, and using inappropriate language. This affected the overall dining experience and could be improved with more professional and respectful communication. Also some rooms felt dark and birds feathers found in room.

We loved every bit of our stay with you.all staff very welcoming and always happy to help .thank you all so much for making our holiday.

We did not like the choice of food on evening meun.and was not offered much choice. But the breakfast was outstanding couldn't ask for better.

The gentleman entertainer on Wednesday evening sang opera which was far superior to his distasteful jokes. He needs to stick to singing.

Food was really good, and plenty of it. Good choices as well, and piping hot.

Room was too small for two adults. Bed was way too soft. Shower was tiny, and you couldn't turn round in it. Room was on the 4th floor, but lift only went to 3rd floor, and you had to carry suitcases up a narrow flight of stairs. Sea view was nice, but didn't enjoy the constant music from the fairground opposite. Right up till 10.30 on a Sunday!

Weekend away, 4 of us, we has rooms 229 & 230 rooms were lovely and clean, 229 bath and shower, 230 shower cubicle, we have been here many times and always have a great time, free parking, staff friendly, food good, buffet breakfast, dinner is buffet starters and a set meal choice of around 5, then your pudding are buffet style, Talk of the coast is downstairs and the entertainment is great, good singers comedians and of course Buddy Lee he is the highlight for my dad! drinks a little expensive but never spoilt the time we had, looking to come back asap!

Horrible smell in the lift needs to be sorted Entertainment very good but too loud makes singers sound like there screeching Woody Lee is very good but felt a bit boring as same old routine needs a fresher one Found a couple off members off your staff very miserable only 2 people which is a shame as a lot off them are very nice and chatty and helpful also beef that is served needs to be cut up and not served in a lump off meat

Room 4th floor as I hate lifts it was alot of stairs. Very hot in the room and dining room. Chairs in room too low as we are both tall. On the monday night I witnessed a young girl on reception telling an old man who I came to say his tv wasnt working in his room that there was no one to help and he would have to wait until the morning. He looked sad when he walked away. I. hopeless with tech or I would ha e offered to help him.

Room 106 had a flat roof outside which had a decomposed dead pigeon, mating pigeons. Loads of pigeon excrement, I am reporting it to the Fylde environmental health officer. Disgusting

Most staff where very friendly and approachable apart from one lady in the restaurant who snarled most people unless she knew them from previous stays.

The room was ok clean but basic. Although it could do with some work as cracks in the ceiling and modernising. Also the chairs in the entertainment room were very uncomfortable and cramped.

I would have preferred the artinary for the bingo to have been more clear, we went down on the night to play but couldn't because you have to pre book, disappointing 😔

I liked the staff, entertainment, dinner, choice of drinks, cooked breakfast, location, parking.

Room was dated, bathroom floor tiles broken, toilet too close to the wall, toilet seat moved and bruised my skin, not clean around toilet bowl or floor.

The starter buffet was a great idea and we made use of it. Dinners were exceptional, and the staff were very friendly and catered for our daughter who is lactose intolerant

Our room was next to and above the big kitchen fans so very, very noisy, I asked for a change of room as I was doing a charity 10Krun that night so would be exhausted and in need of a good nights sleep but there was only one other room available but I was told I would have to pay an extra £15 per person so £30 total extra for myself and my husband, we declined this offer as we had already paid for our room and it wasn’t our fault that the room we were allocated was really noisy, I felt that it was the duty of the hotel to find us a quieter room without extra payments, we ended up cutting out two night stay down to one night so that we could return home to get a decent nights sleep

from start to end the staff where friendly and so helpful. The food was amazing. And the entertainment was fantastic we all had the best time, so much do that we are going to book again for next year

Excellent, friendly staff. One of the receptionist gave a great recommendation for a steak restaurant a few doors up the road. The food was also good value - a good selection of breakfast foods (great bacon!) and the evening meal option at £20 was well worth the money (unlimited buffet for starters both cold and hot, 4 choices of main course and a buffet style sweet option). Free car parking and a good location on the seafront. There was a cabaret in the evening - its classed as an "Adult" hotel so if you're highly offended by 1970's style humour then don't go - we weren't and enjoyed it. Table service too.

The hotel is generally dated. In the room we had we couldn't open the window and it was like a furnace with only a fan to help (which it only did partially). Clean bedding but just could have benefitted from a lick of paint.

Location was perfect, the staff were really friendly and polite, food was great, definitely be bk again, value for money

Reception staff and Restaurant staff were all very nice and pleasant. Hotel was clean and room was clean. Food was very good The hotel is not suitable for persons with any walking disability. Many steps but no disabled access. One Tiny lift which holds two people, which is only accessible by walking through the main club area. Signage needs updating throughout the hotel, very poor information. Ladies toilet down a flight of stairs when I eventually found it! The Talk of the Prom which is part of the hotel was like stepping back in time to the 70s ( working men’s clubs) The Compères Jokes where also from around the same time (sexist and Rude) The Dancers may as well have been naked with what they were wearing ( Benny Hills Angels)!! Not somewhere I will frequent in the future. I’ve given 3 stars for the food and the Hotel Staff.
