I loved the Private Pool Villa, the other room we stayed in for one night wasn't clean or as nice. I would only stay in the pool villa when i come back to bali

It was so overpriced. Nothing in that hotel warranted that price. It needs a renovation.

Across the road from the beach and close to shops. Traditional experience and decor. Pool is excellent and kid friendly. The sand kept toddlers busy and the provided sand toys. There is an adults area if you want to escape the children for awhile.

There needs to be better lighting in the rooms. I felt our room was dark all the time.

The only one negative was we were unable to bring the volume of the TV up - we could barely hear it

Rooms were a disappointment. Unlike shown in photos they are a bit tired and need refurbishing.

Posizione vicino al mare, cortesia di tutto lo staff, piscine con scivoli, consigliatissimo per famiglie con bambini. Camera bella anche se un po’ piccola, molto bella la piscina privata in camera. Bellissima la sorpresa che ci hanno fatto per la luna di miele (torta, video messaggio, drink offerto).

Forse da migliorare la qualità del cibo e in generale l’attenzione all’igiene soprattutto nella colazione (siamo per sempre a Bali ma in un 5 stelle certe attenzioni andrebbero aumentate). Capitava di avere buffet con api sopra il cibo o uccellini che andassero a beccare le brioches esposte. Non di altissimo livello la qualità del cibo nei ristoranti ed a volte disattenzioni da parte del personale (ad esempio: chiedevamo una bevanda senza ghiaccio e arrivava con ghiaccio, chiedevamo coke normale e arrivava zero ecc). Un po’ fastidiosa l’aria condizionata in camera che punta direttamente sul letto.

We only ate at hotel restaurants and got Bali belly, $1000 later in doctors bills and 2 days in bed. Rooms are dated.

Construction site right next to our room - all day construction noise . We were not informed- only got a new room the second day which was lesser than what we paid for ! Club room and benefits were a joke ! Very nice staff though !

It’s great hotel for kids and young families. Good location and right in front of the beach.

The fresh water for showers is very salty. I felt like I was showering from the ocean water and had to use a bottle of water to wash of the salt water for my hair.

Bed was comfy and internal room clean, staff were friendly and helpful but they can’t do much about facilities - fail by senior management allowing construction after hours.

Construction works were going on into the night after 8pm with grinders and banging despite no mention of works on their website. At checkin was told it would stop by 5pm. Pool slide had mould and my child got an ear infection likely due to the pool water quality. You can hear neighbours in their bathroom as the bathroom roofs are not fully enclosed so you can hear everything, including screaming kids at bath time. You would hear people on toilet also, especially if they ended up with Bali belly. Cockroaches and ants roaming around the bathroom due to its openness with only mesh screening stopping anything else bigger from coming in. This place did not meet the price tag. Rooms were not very soundproof, especially due to the bathroom. Breakfast was average. The type of parents that stay do not supervise their children in the pool which ruined our experience also, kids sliding down slides without watching if anyone is at bottom.

The staff, the A La Carte breakfast, Lounge amenities and the fact that staff were willing to do anything to make our stay memorable.

The lunch was included but was very limited - and the chicken was severely under cooked on one day. Decided not to continue going for lunch after that but that was ok - Legian has some beautiful food options.

Location is perfect, on the beach, close to great bars and restaurants. Excellent adults only area!

We loved everything about our stay at Bali Mandira. The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. All the outdoor facilities were excellent, we spent a lot of time around the pool or on the grass on sun lounges. The staff were amazing every step of the way, we could not fault anything about Bali Mandira!

This property is amazing the welcoming was lovely made to feel at home from the second we go there the staff are wonderful the location is amazing I’ve been staying here now for a few years and will continue to come back here. Amazing resort beautiful can’t wait to return. Close to shopping, restaurants and beaches. Rooms are lovely and clean the beds are comfy and the showers are so pretty with a jungle kinda vibe.

Nothing I didn’t like I love Bali Mandira will not disappoint.

The pool area was great for children of all ages with enough space for adults too. The staff were very friendly and helpful. One of the best locations in Legian!

The room we had was one that could either be adjoining or not, while we didn’t book an adjoining room, and efforts were taken to reduce noise (we saw a foam screen had been added between the adjoining doors), we could clearly hear the family next door even just at conversational volumes and I’m sure they could hear us too which was a bit awkward.

Extremely attentive staff. Beautiful room and amazing grounds. Close to everything- shopping, beach across the road and fantastic restaurants 👌. This was our 3rd stay at Bali Mandira and we will definitely be back.

Excellent kids slide, access to the beach, loads of food options around, and amazing staff ready to help at all times.

Water through the tap is extremely salty unsure if its a property issue or area. We stayed at Nusa Dua post this stay and water quality was much better at the resort.

Un séjour vraiment génial ! Le personnel est extrêmement gentil et toujours aux petits soins, ce qui fait toute la différence. Le buffet est très varié et il y en a pour tous les goûts. Les piscines sont super, et la partie “adult only” est particulièrement appréciable pour profiter d’un moment calme et reposant sans enfants. La situation à côté de la mer est idéale et permet d’accéder facilement à de magnifiques couchers de soleil. Une très belle adresse !

Bali Mandira is a beautiful property that exceeded our expectations in every way, and one we will absolutely be returning to with the family. The location is stunning and the facilities are excellent. What impressed us most was just how much was on offer — there was genuinely something for everyone. The Club Lounge was a favourite spot and we found ourselves visiting multiple times throughout the day. The main pool area is lovely, the adults-only area provides a peaceful retreat, and spending Nyepi Day at Kabana was a truly memorable experience — a perfect way to embrace the day of silence in a relaxed and reflective setting. The food throughout our stay was consistently excellent. Whether dining at the Azure Club or enjoying a leisurely lunch by the pool with a cocktail in hand, the quality and variety on offer made every meal a pleasure. The staff were a real highlight — warm, friendly and genuinely accommodating throughout our entire stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble and the level of care and attentiveness made a real difference to our experience. It is clear that Bali Mandira is a property that has been built and maintained with great pride and attention to detail. We have already been recommending it to family, friends and colleagues and look forward to returning. A fantastic resort — thank you for a truly memorable stay.

We returned to Bali Mandira again with a group of eleven people to celebrate one of our groups milestone birthday Dealing with Rya ensured that our event flowed to perfection-the setting near the Azul restaurant was magical & the three course meal was delicious . Rya was able to organise balloons & a wonderful passionfruit sponge birthday cake with a minimum of fuss . The wonderful professional staff at Mandira served us throughout the evening making it a memorable occasion for all . Overall all our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bali Mandira . The friendly resort Bali Mandira is one I would recommend to all

Relaxed friendly environment, staff went out of their way to make us welcome. The organisation of my function was very professional and an amazing experience. Room very clean and comfortable and set in beautifully landscaped gardens. Easy access to the pool with beach area and waterslide to keep the children entertained. A wonderful holiday.

Fab family friendly resort. Great location. Very well trained staff who were very friendly & accommodating They made our Anniversary so special with wishes from the whole team playing on my TV screen, bed of roses & a cake! Club room benefits was certainly worth it! Will def be back!!

The customer service was superb! The room was spacious and clean and the pools were very nice. We enjoyed dropping by the azul beach club for dinner and the morning breakfast service was delicious! We appreciated that they offered a free lunch service as well, while their main hotel building was undergoing renovations.

The Bali Mandira truly feels like our home away from home. On this trip we stayed in a Deluxe Villa and it was perfect. Having our own private little courtyard made it feel peaceful and secluded, but the highlight of the room was definitely the outdoor shower – such a beautiful way to start or end the day in Bali. The super king bed was incredibly comfortable and the air conditioning was very welcome after long days spent shopping and bar hopping. What really makes the Bali Mandira special though is the staff. They are second to none. Every time you walk past, you’re greeted with a warm good morning or good afternoon. Our room was serviced daily and we would often see the staff who look after the grounds throughout the day. They would always stop for a chat, asking how our day was, whether we enjoyed breakfast, and if there was anything we needed for our room. What surprised us most was that they remembered our names – such a personal touch that made us feel truly valued as guests. The location is also perfect, situated right behind Garlic Lane, with shopping, money changers and mini marts all just a short walk away. It’s always a little sad leaving the Bali Mandira because it genuinely feels like you’re leaving family. We can’t wait to come back again.

It is a beautiful typical hotel with enormous pool, delicious breakfast buffet and extremely nice staff.

Always return to our favourite stay in Bali. The staff are like family. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Location is perfect. Grounds are beautiful. Rooms are traditional Balinese bungalows. I would recommend this to all family and friends between the gardens being so tranquil, the amazing pool, rooftop and spa, gym and library including amazing meals and the staff being super accommodating and friendly I will most definitely be staying here again for a lot longer next time. If you want a resort you don’t have to even leave for 2 weeks this would be it. Food, service with a smile and everything at your beck and call. See you all soon

Had a very enjoyable relaxing stay. The staff were so accommodating even sourced avocado for my breakfast requests. Our room was so peaceful n quiet.

The staff are fantastic and very helpful at this resort. The area that has the adult only pool has loungers but no umbrellas noted for which the guest needs to either pay to sit on them or purchase food so not free. Secondly same area they have Cabanas again a price tag associated to sit on these which is something I found discusting due to the fact as a guest you have already paid to stay at the hotel and use the facilities. Management need to review this for sure. The hotel is kept really clean again down to fantastic staff including the rooms that are nice and comfortable. Breakfast was good with a variety of choices again the staff are very attentive.

This is our second time staying at the Bali Mandira and we are so happy that we returned. We were welcomed back to the resort by all staff. It felt like we were come home When we checked into our private pool villa there was a personalised video playing on the TV welcoming us back. My partner also received a personalised video on his birthday, along with a birthday cake and flowers in the room. The resort is perfect for us! We travelled with our special needs foster daughter. The resort has a kids club that is not too busy so she wasn’t overwhelmed. It has a waterslide, swim up bar, adults only pool, gym, Azul Beach Club etc. As we stayed in the Club villa, we had access to the Club Lounge offering free drinks and delicious finger food in the afternoons. We also got to have breakfast at Azul Beach Club that had A’la carte breakfast, free speciality coffees. as well as buffet breakfast. It’s so good! The service by all staff at the resort is amazing! They remember your drink order from the day before. The resort has amazing sunset view from the Azul Beach Club, walking distances to restaurants, bars, shops. Massage places etc. We will be returning again!

We stayed there for 3 nights and 4 days and enjoyed the stay. The resort has all services available to the guest from Spa to pool side bar, Azul Cafe is a must visit spot, we daily had breakfast there with scenic beach view. Overall the staff were very friendly, would recommend for anyone who visit Bali for a calm and peaceful stay

The location was perfect. You couldn’t ask for a better spot. The staff were absolutely lovely and kind and the atmosphere was very peaceful and calm all the time. The rooms were clean well maintained and very comfortable. The pools and the grounds were immaculately kept and they added bonus of the adults only rooftop pool was great!! the Azul beach club restaurant was an added bonus and a great spot to eat with nice views. I would Definitely recommend this hotel and stay again.

This is our 22nd year with Bali Mandira from the time to go to reception then shown to your room your holiday starts they are just beautiful people that work there cannot do enough for you to make your stay a fabulous one it’s our second home the position we’re Bali Mandira is situated is great ,near the beach and just short walks to shopping and dinning out. everything you need is at your fingertips tips we don’t have any children but I see all the staff that look after your children are great all very friendly and I have noticed that the children love them as well

Our arrival was very good. Very easy and pleasant. Love the location, everything I want is within easy reach. The staff made the atmosphere so welcoming and inviting. The staff walking the dining room floor were always perfect, I am sorry I cannot remember specific names. Everyone deserves a congratulation. The cultural dinner on Thursday night was awesome, I have never seen that before, the host, Geoffrey was perfect. House keeping was excellent. Special mention to Sumetra, he maintained our room to an exceedingly high standard. Value for money is beyond peer. I did not feel like I overpaid for anything.

The Bali Mandira resort has been an amazing first Bali experience. I have found everything to be clean and well kept. Although there is apparently construction happening we never heard a thing and our stay has been peaceful and calm. We made use of the on site spa with facial pedicure and massages, all excellent experiences. Our standard king room is well spacious and clean. The indoor outdoor shower in the bathroom is a great feature. Sumetra from housekeeping was amazing his kindness and willingness to help and give local advice was awesome. All staff that we have engaged with from groundsmen to managers have all been so friendly and eager to help or just chat. The buffet style food has been plentiful fresh and tasty. All waitstaff are helpful and very friendly. We used room service which arrived quickly and was fresh and at perfect temperature. Laundry service was also very efficient and great value. Although we have had a couple of tour outings absolutely everything you could need is within easy walking distance. We will certainly be back in future years. Thank you Jessica and all staff at Bali Mandira, you have made our first visit to Bali a very memorable one.
