Location fantastic

Our room was very small , we were visiting to attend a wedding and the room was far to small

TODO. No podria quedarme con una sola cosa, pero la atención del personal fue extraordinaria,en especial SOFI q era encantadora. Pero todos muy, muy atentos y agradables. La ubicación es perfecta para ir andando al centro de cirencester, el desayuno es magnífico y el hotel está súper limpio. No habia aíre acondicionado y hacia mucho calor en Reino Unido en esos q dias, pero tenían ventiladores q algo ayudaban. Todo genial.

Very steep stairs

Wegen eines stornierten Fluges konnten wir leider nur eine von vier gebuchten Nächten wahrnehmen. Dafür wurde uns grosszügigerweise das Abendessen geschenkt. Das Personal war sehr nett. Es ist ein schönes altes Haus in ruhiger, aber zentrumsnaher Lage.

Einige Dinge wirkten renovations- bzw. reparaturbedürftig, etwa das Schloss der Badezimmertür und die kleine Lampe über dem Spiegel. Es gibt kein Frühstücksbuffet, nur Frühstück auf Bestellung.

Quirky , interesting old building

Hotel curato, personale gentile e attento, parcheggio disponibile, posizione comoda per girare la cittadina a piedi. Ottima la colazione inclusa, con ampia scelta di piatti, abbiamo anche cenato più volte e le pietanze erano tutte molto buone. La stanza era ad un piano alto con finestre piccole caratteristiche.

Amazing central location. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Bed and room very comfortable and clean, the breakfast was one of the best I've had, good choice of products , served fresh, hot, and great surroundings. There is nothing that could have been improved upon

Small but lovely family room with character and gorgeous old beams. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful with an easy walk into the old town. Very nice staff too! Loved how dog friendly they were :)

A charming and characterful hotel, in a historic building in a lovely historic town. Comfortable rooms, though with historic stairs to get there. Provision of fans in rooms a helpful feature, essential in this overheated summer. Friendly and helpful staff in hotel and restaurant. Good breakfast. Parking also very helpful in this small town.

Expensive. Booked at short notice in peak season, for an event we had to attend, but even so it cost a lot more than I've paid for comparable places elsewhere.

Everything was amazing, staff really friendly. They even left some doggie treats and bags for our dog. How lovely was that. Little things makes all the difference. Thank you so much for making our stay so lovely.

If I had to say anything, the only thing would be better towels, soft and fluffy.

The hotel was lovely, the food great but it was the staff that really made our stay so good. They were fantastic and couldn't have been more friendly, helpful or considerate. The location was great as well.

The location was very good with 5-10 minute walk to the Center of Cirencester. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good.

Due to the age of the building the stairs are rather steep and anyone with a large case would need assistance getting up. There was bottled water in the room but a small fridge to keep it cold would have been nice.

La habitación familiar estaba en la buhardilla. A pesar de tener un aparato de aire acondicionado, hacia mucho calor. Tenía tres ventanas en el techo por donde entraba mucha luz. Entre la luz y el calor dormir ha sido complicado.

A proper dog-friendly hotel... they made us feel very welcome and really accommodated the dogs well. Our room was clean and comfortable, and big enough to have our two spaniels in. If we needed anything we just had to ask... all of the staff were really helpful and made our stay enjoyable and the dogs welcomed and included in the experience. Shout out of special thanks to Margaret and Talulah.

I stayed for a night on my way back home from a few days in Wales. The location is superb, just moments from the town centre. There is a very relaxed and ‘at home’ atmosphere, and the staff were lovely. The room (double compact) was great, as was the food and drink.

It couldn't have been better for me

Perfect location , easy access to the town and amenities yet nice and quiet. Great easy parking at rear. We had a lovely room on the top floor, the bed was super comfortable and room very clean. All the staff , every single one were very friendly , helpful and professional. Lovely breakfast with good variety of choice, and a really lovely beer garden to the rear. .

Nothing! Some people might not like the steep stairs to the rooms , and i could see how this might affect some older people, but this is a very old building . It wasn’t a problem for us and besides the staff were more than happy to help with bags if needed.

All the staff from the moment we arrived until the moment we departed, were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location was great, just a 5 mi Ute walk into the centre and a lovely garden.

Había reservado una habitación familiar, que resultó ser francamente pequeña. Además, estaba en la buhardilla, y, debido a las altas temperaturas el calor era insoportable. Intentaron solucionarlo con un aparato de aire acondicionado portátil que hacía un ruido insoportable. Para empeorar las cosas, solamente había 2 pequeñas ventanas en el techo. Lamento dar una mala puntuación por todo esto, porque creo que si nos hubiésemos alojado en otra habitación la opinión hubiera sido muy diferente, ya que como dije antes, el hotel en general me pareció un lugar muy acogedor y el personal muy amable, pero nuestra experiencia quedó un poco empañada debido a este hecho

Location was quiet yet 5 min walk to cirencester. Staff could not be more helpful, they were very friendly and accommodating. Building is quirky, has character and has an english charm about it. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and had gluten free options. Complimentary water provided in room was appreciated. Free car park on site. Staff offer to help take luggage to room as there are no lifts.

Room I was allocated was on top floor,room 14 had very narrow stairs to reach, so not recommended for elderly. My room smelt very musky, stale and stuffy. Very small windows. I had to ask to be moved as smell was unbearable. I was moved immediately to room 11 and staff helped move luggage. Some parts of the rooms are dated but clean. No air conditioning however rooms have air coolers which was fine for me.

It is a period property built in Elizabethan times. It is quirky with some sloping floors and exposed beams. It has loads of character. It's garden set up with tables, chairs and parasols is really welcoming. The car park is more than adequate. It is about 5 mins walk into the centre of Cirencester. The staff are friendly and helpful and are excellent. Our room, although "compact", was actually quite spacious. It even had a walk in wardrobe .The shower was excellent and very responsive. The breakfast was good with a very wide choice including "flamenco chorizo and baked egg" (that was very good). The bar was good and slightly cheaper than the pubs in town. Drinking in the garden with the sun shining on you was divine. I really can't fault it. But a word of advice - avoid parking your car under the tree in the car park as you may end up with some bird poo on it? Would we return - an emphatic YES!!!!

We are in our 80's and found the bedroom difficult -stairs, beams, lack of light. To some extent we expected this and the upgrade was helpful.

L'habitació familiar és extremadament petita. Hi fa moltíssima calor, gairebé no hem pogut dormir. No tanquen bé les cortines de les minifinestres i entra molta llum a la nit. Si que hi ha ventilador i un aparell d'aire acondicionat portatil però no està ben muntat i fa un gran soroll, impossible engegar-ho durant la nit. Ens allotjaven amb dos nens i les nits van ser insuportables, l'habitació era un forn.

Good parking for large cars. I was going to a memorial service the next day and they very kindly allowed me to park for longer than my check out. 5 minute walk to the centre of town. Lovely dinner in the pub part of the hotel. I had a delicious homemade burger and chips. Very comfortable soft bed which was a huge relief as I struggle to sleep on hard beds . It was a very hot evening but I had a very good fan in the room and hardly noticed. Lovely friendly staff. A very pleasurable stay, thank you. .

The Corinium has become my regular home-from-home when visiting Cirencester. Ideally located in a quiet area of town with easy parking and yet, a couple of minutes walk, and you are in the heart of this historic market Town with all that has to offer. Maybe I visit too often as I even recognise some of the locals now who appear in the bar over a weekend!!!! But how nice to see a "hotel bar" which is also a popular local "watering hole" with the locals. And the food is excellent too with the Bibury Trout starter a firm favorite of mine and there is always a good selection of mains (and starters!) to choose from. As Arnie Schwarzenegger famously said ..... "I'll be back!"!

We had an excellent time especially given the difficulties created by the excessive heat. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was only a few minutes from the town centre but very quiet. The garden was a bonus given the location. The breakfast, especially, set up the day very well.

Fantastic 10/10 couldn't fault anything. Room superb, clean and lovely, staff were so friendly and welcoming. We were travelling with our dog, this hotel is very close to Abbey Grounds for dog walks and a great central location for walking into town. Free parking, delicious cooked breakfast and a warm croissant in the morning, honestly it was heaven and we were chuffed to bits.

Hotel were able to change room to an 'easy access' room on arrival. Very pleasant atmosphere in an interesting historical building, good menu for dinner and excellent breakfast

Room 16, very steep stair climb to get to the four poster room, one of the windows didn't close , had to cover it will pillows all night to stop the draft.dont book this room if your are over 60.tripping hazards, and think about escape in case of fire you won't be getting out of the windows.

Had a very good two night stay at the Corinium Hotel. It's quaint, very quiet location, yet so close to the centre of Cirencester and the Abbey park. Food was very good, ample parking and the staff were lovely.

Beautiful building in a fabulous location and the staff were very friendly and informative.. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfy,, we slept so well. We would definitely go back there again.

4 poster bedroom has some possible hazards. Large raised wooden bit to step over to the enter bathroom, low ceiling and a raised wooden and metal part a few feet from the room door, so possibly where the original door used to be. Appreciate these remain because of the age of the building, but could be tricky for some guests, especially going to the bathroom during the night. Also 2 flights of narrow stairs to reach the 'Character room'.

Great value for money. Host made sure to meet all my needs. Lovely dinner and super breakfast the next morning. Lots of opportunities for a lone traveler to socialize.

The curtains in the room were dirty, had to wash hands after opening or closing. Shower only usable for quick wash as can't stand up using it. Everything else was great.

I am quite concerned that they took my card and wrote down my card details and have no idea where these are stored. They wouldn't let me have the keys to my room, which was already paid for until I gave my card details in case I ordered room service, which I knew I wasn't going to do.

Hotel was perfect as it had its own car park in the city centre. So an ideal base for exploring. Breakfast was superb, quality and choice. Restaurant food was excellent.

Only downside was the size of the compact double room. I expected it to be small but bedside units were too big for the space and the toilet was so crammed in it was difficult to use unless you were left handed. But bed was comfortable and all was clean.

The bed was on a slope due to the age of the building, so felt strange and didn't sleep well.

Breakfast excellent and service was great by the lade whos name I cant remember. All the food was locally produced and fresh. Due the inclement weather we were unable to sit in the lovely walled garden but it was well kepy and we would use next time.

My husband and I came for a one night stay . We stayed in a double room overlooking the road . The room was clean the bed comfortable. The bathroom was adequate. The staff were not very hospitable, however at dinner the lady was accommodating when I asked for sourdough because of an allergy. The dinner was ok . When sitting in the bar there was no staff at the bar serving and at 10pm the music was turned off . So we went up to our room.

My WIFE AND MYSELF HAD NEVER VISITED CIRENCESTER BEFORE, ALTHOUGHT WE LEARNED THAT IT WAS A BUETIFUL PLACE. We arrived at the hotel and the lady on reception could not have been more helpful. She even put the hotels wifi password on our phones ( were're in our 80's. The room was small but perfect, It was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We has a slight issue with dinner in the evening but that was sorted. The breakfast was superb. A lovely hotel with a large car park. We will be back.
