"Only the location, but that doesn't justify the price or the terrible service."

The "Cons": "I am beyond disappointed with my stay at the Ritz-Carlton Toronto. For the premium price they charge, the experience was a total failure. The service was completely lacking—staff were indifferent and unprofessional, which is the last thing you expect from this brand. The room itself was dated, and it felt like they are cutting corners everywhere while still charging luxury rates. The service at this property is a disgrace to the Ritz-Carlton name. Instead of the expected hospitality, I was met with an air of snobbery and arrogance from the staff that made the entire stay uncomfortable. The 'servants' and front-line employees acted as if they were doing me a favor by assisting me, displaying a level of elitism that is both misplaced and unprofessional. For a hotel that prides itself on service, the behavior here is nothing short of hostile and dismissive The management showed zero interest in resolving my concerns, making me feel like just another credit card number rather than a valued guest. I’ve stayed in many 5-star hotels, and this was easily the worst value for money I’ve ever experienced. Save your money and go to the Four Seasons or Shangri-La instead. I will never return.

The room was very spacious with a coffee machine and a very nice washroom. We also enjoyed the sauna, steam room, and the gym facilities. The tread mill with the monitor that matched the scenery & the workout with the hills were neat. Great location with markets & many restaurants nearby. The beds were very comfortable.

Breakfast is not included. It would've been nice to have a microwave. There were no garbage bags in the trash cans which was strange. When we were checking out and asked for a taxi we were only offered the hotel SUV which was pricey, as are all the hotel restaurants.

This hotel has the best location in Toronto. Just minutes walk from Union Station, CN Tower and anywhere in Downtown Toronto it is the perfect place to stay. The hotel gives a 5 star experience throughout with an amazing feeling from check in to check out. The rooms are spacious, and full of every amenity you could need from fridges, to comfy beds and beautiful grand bathrooms. The shower and bath were truly excellent. We loved the brilliant touches like the evening turn down service and it was exceptional how good the attention to detail was. The spa was lovely and perfect to relax after a busy day in Toronto. I’ve travelled across 4 continents and could honestly say one of my favourite city hotels.

The internal decor wasn’t quite to our taste but that is a very personal thing. Overall still a fantastic hotel

This was my first time staying at this property and it was nothing short of amazing! From the staff that greets you upon arrival and walk you to the front desk, to Alejandro and his amazing customer service. It genuinely made this the best birthday trip I’ve ever had. Thankful is an understatement! The food was just as amazing as the service and property. So if you have a chance, check out Toca on the second floor for breakfast. The food was absolutely delicious! Now on to the suite. I honestly didn’t want to leave! The suite and the view were breathtaking! It was such a welcoming and clean space and it definitely set the tone for our trip. There were views of the CN tower, the baseball stadium, and the lake. This suite and property are the main reasons why I will definitely be back to Toronto. I do hate that I missed out on the spa but I’m sure it’s just as amazing so if you’re there check it out as well! I could honestly go on and on about this place but please definitely go check it out! Again, thank you!!

I’ve never been given a bigger run around with wanting an early check in and even a late checkout. Call the day of too see availability, meanwhile there’s tonnes of empty rooms. Same ordeal with a late check out. Why can’t I have a late checkout when it’s already my room and you can’t check in until 4am. I’ve never had any problem until the Ritz-Carlton Toronto.
