I loved everything. Dinner was exquisite, breakfast was delicious. The feeling of the lobby and the fireplace from the moment I checked in. Every staff member was so friendly and welcoming.

Great location next to the lake. Beautiful, elegant mid-century modern meets Japanese zen environment. Excellent sauna and onsen. Massage therapist, Noro, in the spa, is excellent for shiatsu massage (they only do dry massage, meaning no lotion or oil is used and onsen outfit provided in the room is always fully on)— I had 3 massages with Noro while there. Half board had good options, skewed toward Japanese cuisine, not surprisingly. Excellent staff service everywhere.

Hard to find the hotel entrance: mis-translated sign in the driveway in meant we disregarded our GPS directions at the final minute before pulling in. Ignore the sign and drive into the throughway to get to the lobby.

Love the ambience, zen feeling. Makes you feel like you are on a holiday. The breakfast buffet was the best. And when did you have marshmallows over a fireplace? this is the time and especially with a harpist playing in the background And the kaiseki dinner was out of this World. All worth it. Kudos to the Team at this resort.

Totally loved the meals (breakfast and dinner) there. The food was delicious. Staying there more than a night, the restaurant offered additional choices of the mains. I loved the coziness of the whole resort though it is a shoes-off place. The fireplace in the middle of the hall was just so fun for people to gather and toast marshmallows.

We felt bad about the wasting the rice (served in a pot) when we couldn’t finish it during breakfast. We requested for the staff not to serve it to us but it was actually really nice.

È una struttura straordinaria: bella, accogliente e soprattutto con molto personale disponibile per soddisfare ogni tua esigenza (dal parcheggio dell’auto alla consegna delle scarpe). La camera con onsen privato è meravigliosa: ampia, moderna ma con ampie citazioni delle storiche ryokan. Sublime la cena giapponese.

Non ci sono aspetti negativi. Per gusto personale, visto che non amo i buffet, manterrei la tradizionale abitudine della colazione con servizio al tavolo.

一進到飯店就有泊車人員，還配置一個管家。整個飯店部門之間的溝通非常到位。我們一行有十位，會附註讓不同單位都得到訊息。房間跟餐點都超乎預期的精緻。飯店的整體氛圍很休閒，是此行同型夥伴都念念不忘的記憶。雖然價格是高的，但餐點決不會讓人失望，晚餐的手做甜點，早餐的現打smoothie，兩餐都讓大家吃到撐，捨不得離開。素食者雖然沒有主餐選擇，但餐點很素食友善。入住即拖鞋，腳踩在木頭地板上很令人放鬆。風呂也很棒，同行友人有泡三次的，有泡兩次的。房間的備品一字排開，非常齊全。整個就是高級跟放鬆感。

入住當天天氣不好看不到湖。但這跟飯店沒有關係:P

The location, within a national park and a 5 minutes walk to lake Shikotsu, was the best selling point of this resort. I opted for half board, which included buffet breakfast and lunch, and it was a wide-spread with delectable dishes.

Everyone at the resort was polite and friendly. Having Google translation on hand is a bonus. However, the front desk receptionist staff were not as delightful. They both spoke English and they made check-out unpleasant.

Should I call it a modern ryokan? Or a ryokan-style hotel? The name doesn't matter. It is a hotel you simply must experience. Comfortable furniture and space, quiet public areas, and above all, a fantastic buffet. I recommend the buffet over the kaiseki here. It is fantastic. Even the breakfast is excellent. Since my stay was short—just one night—I couldn't experience everything the hotel had to offer, but it was a wonderful hotel.

There wasn't anything particularly disappointing. - It would be nice if notices were added stating that slippers are allowed in all areas, and that comfortable clothes provided by the hotel can be worn in the restaurant.

The room was incredible! The staff was friendly and accommodating!

Next to Lake Shikotsu. We went in between seasons so not a lot of shops around the area was open. But there was still lots to do. We loved the onsen and the staff were nice and helpful. We were offered coupons to enjoy a free drink or dessert from Sweets Shop Patissier Lab (which is on site). Our time at Lake Shikotsu Tsuruga Resort Spa Mizu no Uta was peaceful and relaxing

Our outdoor shower had some damp mildew smell to it. But otherwise we enjoyed our private onsen.

食器、料理器具、ソープ類、飲物や軽食等他、必要なものは全て揃っていて、自分の家にいるような快適さでした。ベットの寝心地は最高で朝遅くまで寝てしまいました！！町まで車で5分とかなので夜ご飯の場所もありローケーションも良し（車は必須です)。オーナーさんは、とても楽しく素敵な方でした。大満足な滞在となりました、ありがとうございました！

部屋が暑かったが冷房入らずそと窓を開けた 料理品数が多く魅力的ではあるが内容はいまいち 刺身タコとサーモンだけサーモンは水分が分離していた

Superior staff. Great buffets. Beautiful and private outdoor onsen.

The room is very spacious and the onsen is great. Most of the staff are very warm-hearted. We waited only a little while for breakfast buffet but quite a bit for dinner. Having said that the staffs informed us once table was available.

It is slightly on the pricey side but overall a nice experience.

Our stay was nothing short of a a six-star experience. From the moment we arrived, the level of service was impeccable. We were welcomed with genuine warmth and made to feel completely at ease. Check-in was seamless, setting the tone for what would be an exceptional stay. The property itself is stunning, with beautifully maintained facilities that invite you to relax and unwind. Our room exceeded every expectation. A spacious ground-floor suite featuring a private Onsen, two incredibly comfortable beds, and a generous living area complete with a massage chair—an indulgence we didn’t realise we needed until we had it. An unexpected touch was the thoughtfully curated wardrobe, filled with robes and gowns not only for use in the room, but also suitable for dinner and the spa. This was a unique and delightful experience that added to the sense of immersion and luxury. The dining experience was equally outstanding. The multi-course kaiseki dinner was a true highlight—beautifully presented and thoughtfully curated, it introduced us to a range of traditional Japanese dishes we had never encountered before. Each course felt like a work of art, both in flavour and presentation, offering a genuine sense of place and culture. Breakfast was just as impressive, with a generous buffet that balanced traditional Japanese options alongside familiar Western dishes, ensuring there was something to suit every palate. It was the perfect way to start the day. Every detail felt carefully considered, and the overall experience was simply unforgettable.

地點非常好，散步到鐵橋和週邊商品很近，後面還有一個絕佳的觀湖座位。

The room was gorgeous and huge! It had all amenities you could wish for and also a in room hot spring. The location was excellent, especially if you want to see the Ice festival. It is practically next door. Finally, the buffet dinner was superb! We loved the pizza.

The room is spacious, clean, and comfortable. The en-suite outdoor bath is nice. So are the two massage chairs. The breakfast and dinner at the buffet restaurant are good too. The location close to the annual Ice Festival and the many local amenities is the most assuring. The staff is courteous.

最滿意是酒店能夠有車接送，因為我們不是自駕如果乘巴士或其他車可能冇咁方便，有車接送我們就可以從機場直接到達酒店了。

시설과 식사 모두 매우 만족합니다. 어메니티는 물론 편한 옷과 양말(다비), 밖에 나갈 때 입는 두툼한 가운까지 갖추고 있어서 정말이지 갈아입을 속옷만 들고 가도 될 정도입니다. 온천 내 시설도 고급지고 편리합니다. 헬스 시설도 있구요. 무엇보다 조식과 석식의 다채로움은 말로 표현할 수가 없네요. 직원들의 있는 듯 없는 듯한 서비스도 고급 시설이라는 것을 잘 반영하고 있는 듯하구요. 숙박비가 저렴한 편은 아니지만, 그 값을 합니다.

아침및저녁 메뉴가 바뀌지 않아서 조금 실망했습니다 그 외적으로 료칸을 사용할수 있는 시간이 다른 료칸에 비해 짧아서 아쉬웠습니다.청소시간을 새벽에만 진행해도 좋을것 같습니다.

Lovely helpful staff, fantastic location and the chefs in the restaurant were unreal, the buffet dinner was superb and breakfast again amazing. Beautiful well appointed resort that we were lucky to have a night at. Highly recommend this as a place to stay.

極差，我在日本住的酒店呢一間係極差極差。 此溫泉酒店，在今年中秋節我們三人入住兩晚，一泊兩食，需是入住最高層3樓，面向支笏湖，但係沒有湖景，都是望住一片樹林，入住每晚成為約港元約$4200元。他比其他類似的溫泉酒店是貴。我們本以為它比其他類似的溫泉酒店應該是更加令我滿意的。但換來的是一肚氣，整體極度差劣，垃圾一樣！ 有七宗罪 1， 此酒店內假扮乾淨，一塵不染：在酒店大門口，客人都未check-in，要求客人除鞋先至可以進入酒店，它認為這樣自己酒店很乾淨，不能給客人穿着自己的鞋在酒店內亂走。但沒有給客人提供拖鞋服務在酒店走動，它也認為自己酒店內嘅公共地方及公共地氈乾淨，但酒店沒有諗過每個客人穿着緊嘅襪是否乾淨？what’s up?! 2，它表面好似為客人服務周到：為初到步客人的行李，酒店員工用酒店手推車仔將行李搬上客房，在原意上它是不想行李轆糟蹋酒店內的公共地方及地氈。但行李入房時，搬行李的員工就將行李由手推車上搬到客房門口地上，就照將行李推到房內的Ta Ta Mi上。行李篋的轆是否乾淨？即是不理客人房的乾淨，what’s up ?! 3， 員工態度好似發緊夢：沒有解釋客人入住的權益，例如不用執房，原來可獲1000円購物禮券，他沒有給我們。及我們是一家三個人入住，房內亦都有一張king size 雙人床及一張單人床，是足夠給我們用，但他還問我們還有一張床墊要放在Ta Ta mi上那個位置？what’s up ?! 4，房內整潔度：我們剛剛入住的房內的門口及廁所位置，茶水間位置都是深啡色地板，特別是茶水間，在赤腳踩上地板是泣泣黐的，還看到地板上有未乾了的飲品水漬。好似沒有清潔就給客人入住，我們用地布去清理此些地板時，地布是烏卒卒的。what’s up ?! 5，基本服務要求：在房內也沒有提供酒店拖鞋，只提供每人一對白襪穿着，在我們入住時，這員工亦都沒有講解這對白襪的用途，後來見到其他客人穿着，我們才明白是給客人在洒店內的公共地方走動，但係我們使用時回房除襪時，發現襪底又是烏卒卒的，也打證明酒店的公共地方及地氈也是不乾淨。what’s up ?! 6，在晚餐時段，沒有給客人選擇時段給客人用晚餐，又出現以下情况：酒店應該一定知道每日入住有多少客人，及多少客人在酒店內用各種類形晚餐，我們發現酒店內用自座式晚餐地方只得23張枱，現時不是旺季，我在入住時看到當日入住有客房約50至60間房。假設7成房的客人是自助晚餐，即係有35間房，即使1間房對1張枱，即係還有12張枱客人未能即時用晚餐。當晚我們都是準時到食晚餐地方，但是在半路途中被一名員工截住說：食晚餐地方已經滿座，不能進去用晚餐，酒店員工叫我們回房內等電話通知，才可到食晚餐地方，這樣的做法，對客人要等幾多時間是不知道，是非常不尊重客人。因此有些客人在食早餐時，經過在前晚食晚餐時段的教訓，所以那些客人包括我們在內，預早20分鐘到場地等候，好似玩遊戲咁樣先到先得。我們是來享受假期。不是來同其他客人鬥搶！what’s up ?! 7，我們本來認為這樣的價錢，晚餐及早餐的食物種類應該係好豐富及好味道的：但是此温泉酒店（支笏湖鶴雅温泉spa 酒店）例如：不要提有什麼魚的刺身及壽司，牛肉類，羊肉類，蟹肉類，蔬菜類，鮮蝦類，以上所講的種類食物是沒有，只是有三文魚刺身及三文魚魚子，在此是最矜貴的食物。還有三種不知名的魚塊又硬又嚡又有細條魚骨魚肉內，如果小朋友食咗應該很有危險，還有煙肉是白烚的還有蘇味，腸仔也是白烚的。總言之擺放食物的地方在10步左右已經行完。可想吓有幾多地方擺放食物給客人選擇，至於甜品若有五至六種，在飲品方面沒有什麼種類選擇最基本的橙汁也沒有，在麵包方面只有牛角包及方包擺放最多，真是打破了我們在日本多次旅行入住的所有溫泉酒店認知！ 四千多港元一晩，換來的服務及食物素質，真令人氣憤。 如果想體驗這樣的服務，一定要介紹給其他人知道！

The breakfast is not perfect. To walk to the breakfast dining hall through corridors in the winter morning is not pleasant.
