Reviewed Sep 9, 2026Excellent emplacement a l'entrée du Krugerpark. Les repas pris au restaurant étaient très bon. Amabilité du personnel mais assez inégal.
Les équipements du logement ne correspondent pas au produit vendu. Petit déjeuner servi fort en retard par rapport à l'heure prévue ce qui est très embêtant compte tenu des activités très matinale de l'endroit... Mauvais entretien des jardins et de la piscine.

Quite a lot of mosquitoes, despite being mid-winter. This was probably due to the stagnant pond on the property. Breakfast was a buffet and a bit disappointing.

Reviewed Apr 21, 2026This was a great hotel to relax and do nothing but reading and swimming. Great bungalow. Great pool with enough seats. Good breakfast. Nice dinners. Staff attentive. It was a real pleasant experience. If you want, Entrence Kruger is nearby. As is the supermarket and petrolstation.

Die Bungalows sind stilvoll, geräumig und verfügen über eigene Parkplätze, was die Anreise enorm entspannt. Die Safaris direkt über das Hotel zu buchen, war äußerst praktisch – gut organisiert, zuverlässig und flexibel planbar. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis: Preislich eher am oberen Ende, doch die Qualität der Unterkunft und die Bequemlichkeiten rechtfertigen den Mehrpreis. Bereits der Aufenthalt insgesamt ist eine solide Basis für spannende Safari-Tage. Gastronomie: Das Hotelrestaurant war in Ordnung – solide Küche, aber nichts Herausragendes. Aus diesem Grund haben wir uns für Abendessen außerhalb entschieden, um neue kulinarische Eindrücke zu sammeln. Fazit: Eine schöne, gut gelegene Region mit einer komfortablen Basis für Safaris. Ideal für Reisende, die unkomplizierte Safari-Organisation und ruhige, stilvolle Unterkünfte schätzen.

Reviewed Nov 14, 2025Het prachtige park. De geweldige huisjes en de ligging, 5 min van de Gate. Al het personeel is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het eten in het restaurant is uitstekend. Mooi zwembad. Alles supergoed onderhouden. De safari's waren super. Dank je Donald.
Eigenlijk niets alleen zijn de safari's in vergelijking met andere lodges waar we hebben verbleven, vrij duur. Het scheelde 800 zar p.p.

do NOT go on a boat trip, they charge you 2200 zar, but the boat trip is 650 zar, the rest iss for them, they highly overcharge, also, the boat trip is with lots of yelling tourists who are out of respect. dinner is not good. other tourists yelling all over on game drives. no respect towards other humans or nature. no respect towards animals. then, don t go to the bush. rooms are old. there is noise 24/7 from the street, the bar, the gardeners. you can not relax or anything.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2025The hotel has a lovely setup with beautiful gardens and plenty of wildlife, which made the stay feel special. The staff were polite, though not particularly friendly. The food was good, and I appreciated how quickly they helped me book a bush walk in Kruger. However, the price was very high — about four times more than booking directly, which felt unreasonable considering the hotel is just 1km from the gate. Overall, a pleasant stay, but some things could be better for the price. Let me know if you want this tailored even further.
The unjustified and excessive price for a bush walk that was 3 times cheaper 1km away. Bitter taste for us. We tried to talk to the réception before posting this but they didn't compromise

The food, ordered an ostrich filet with mash potato. Turned out to be mash potato and a bite size ostrich fillet which was also very dry and chewy. And price was expensive.

Reviewed Jun 24, 2025Die Unterkunft liegt nah am Gate, allerdings ist das Gate eher im Norden des Parks und die Tierdichte bzw. Artenvielfalt eher gering und die Vegetation ist stark bewachsen wodurch Tiere schwerer zu finden sind.
Zimmer etwas renovierungsbedürftig. Es fehlt ein Fön im Zimmer.

Reception did not offer any assistance to get to our individual rondavels. Food average; service disinterested staff
