Wir haben die beiden Übernachtungen im Bushveld Terrace Safari Hotel sehr genossen! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Zimmer geräumig und sehr sauber, das Restaurant sehr empfehlendswert. Besonders hervorzuheben ist zudem die ausgezeichnete Lage zum Phalaborwa-Tor des Kruger Park, sind nur ca. 300m! Wir haben ebenfalls direkt im Hotel 2 Safaris gebucht (top!) sowie das sehr empfehlenswerte "Braai under the Sky": In 16 Tagen Südafrika und vielen guten Steaks waren diese die Besten!

Alle Mitarbeiter waren immer fröhlich, hilfsbereit und haben einem alles möglich gemacht. Die Unterkunft ist wunderbar, direkt neben dem phalaborwa gate gelegen.

Das Bushveld Terrace Hotel war für uns der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für unseren Besuch im Kruger National Park. Die Lage ist wirklich kaum zu übertreffen: Das Hotel liegt direkt am Phalaborwa Gate, sodass man den Park bequem und ohne lange Anfahrt erreichen kann. Gerade für einen frühen Start zum Game Drive ist das ein großer Vorteil. Unser Zimmer war sehr schön, modern und komfortabel eingerichtet und bot alles, was wir für einen entspannten Aufenthalt benötigt haben. Die gesamte Anlage macht einen sehr gepflegten und einladenden Eindruck. Ein besonderes Highlight war für uns das Essen. Sowohl die Qualität der Speisen als auch die Zubereitung haben uns positiv überrascht – definitiv eines der besseren kulinarischen Erlebnisse auf unserer Reise. Nach einem langen Tag im Kruger war es wunderbar, direkt im Hotel hervorragend essen zu können. Die Kombination aus komfortablen Zimmern, sehr gutem Essen und vor allem der außergewöhnlichen Lage macht das Bushveld Terrace zu einer hervorragenden Wahl für alle, die den Kruger National Park erkunden möchten. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Bushveld Terrace Safari Hotel and cannot recommend it highly enough! From the moment we started making our booking, the service was exceptional. We arranged a few special extras to celebrate my husband’s and son’s birthdays, and everything was beautifully set up in our room when we arrived. It made the occasion feel incredibly special, and the cake was honestly out of this world! A very special thank you to Simone, who assisted us with our booking and all the birthday arrangements. She even took the time to introduce herself when we arrived and personally made sure that everything was in order. That kind of personal attention really stood out and made us feel so welcome. Dinner was excellent — every dish was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. The chef clearly knows exactly what they are doing! Our room was spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The team even assisted us with getting firewood to take with us into Kruger National Park, which was incredibly helpful and just another example of how they went the extra mile for us. We only stayed for one night before continuing into Kruger, but from the friendly service throughout the booking process to the warm welcome and wonderful stay, everything was perfect. Thank you to the entire team for making our short visit so memorable and for helping us celebrate two special birthdays in such a beautiful way. We will most definitely be back!

Ideal gelegen für Ausflüge in den nahe gelegenen Krügerpark. Das Phalaborwa Gate ist nur einen Steinwurf vom Hotel entfernt. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel ausgestattet, das Frühstück ist hervorragend und die Dinnerkarte kann sich sehen lassen. Das Essen ist vorzüglich.

I had an excellent stay while on my business trip for 10 days. I loved the atmosphere (quiet and excellent location), warm reception from all the staff members and tasty food.

Wow, from the amazing accommodation and food, superb spa and amazing staff - not to mention the proximity to Phalaborwa Gare a mere 200 meters away - you cannot ask for a more value for money affordable luxury hotel. Loved every minute of my stay.

A lovely hotel. We had a spacious room with a large bathroom and a terrace. Very friendly staff throughout. We also dined on the restaurant’s terrace on both evenings and food and wines were excellent: highly recommended.

It was so nice after two weeks in Kruger National Park to have real luxury. Large room, great bathroom, good dinner , friendly staff.

Das Essen im Restaurant war exzellent, egal ob Fleisch, Burger oder Salate. Auch der Service war herausragend und sehr bemüht, etwaige Fragen oder Probleme schnell und zuverlässig zu lösen.

Die Frühstücksauswahl war sehr eingeschränkt und Ei-lastig (alle wählbaren Gerichte) und es gab keine veganen Alternativen.

We stayed as part of a tour group and fully enjoyed every aspect of the hotel from our room, the pool, dinner and the awesome bagged breakfast and lunch provided for our first safari day.

Zes jaar geleden hier ook geweest en we waren toen heel enthousiast dus daarom nogmaals geboekt. Hoewel het een heerlijk hotel is, is er wel het e.e.a. veranderd en o.i. geen verbetering. Toen was er een zeer uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet en nu is dat op bestelling van een kaart. Vanuit eventuele verspilling gedachte nog wel begrijpelijk maar voor een extra kopje koffie of glas jus d’orange bij het ontbijt, als je inclusief hebt geboekt, moet worden betaald. En als je een omelet besteld dan zit daar geen toast bij en daarvoor moet ook extra worden betaald. Niet vanwege het geld maar als ontbijt is inbegrepen vinden we dat toch enigszins vreemd. Bij boeking stond dat de luxe kamer uitzicht had op het zwembad. Uitzicht bleek echter op het bos aan de zijkant van het gebouw met een veel kleiner zitgedeelte en geen tafeltje op het balkon. Bij receptie verzocht of zij voor ons een starttijd konden regelen op de plaatselijke golfbaan doch dit wilde zij niet en we moesten het zelf maar telefonisch regelen. Beetje jammer want bellen met mobiele telefoon (via Nederland) is niet erg economisch. Ondanks dit alles toch een prima verblijf gehad maar of er een derde keer in zit betwijfelen we.

The food was excellent, beautifully prepared, and consistently of an outstanding standard. Every meal was a highlight and clearly reflects the care and attention that goes into the dining experience. The overall ambiance, warm hospitality, and attention to detail make each visit truly special. Bushveld Terrace continues to impress and remains a place we return to again and again. What a surprise to find this piece of luxury within a stones throw from the Kruger Phalaborwa gate! Spacious, stylishly appointed rooms with a spectacular pool area. We had game drives in a very comfy open safari vehicle with a great guide- even packed refreshments and snacks! The restaurant offers top quality food and we were fortunate to meet Adriaan who heads up the restaurant! Thank you. Tried out the newly opened spa! Such a treat in between game drives. Worth a visit!

Unser Zimmer und auch das Badezimmer waren sehr groß und modern, das Personal sehr freundlich, das Restaurant hatte eine gute Auswahl und die Lichterketten haben für eine sehr schöne Stimmung gesorgt. Die Lage direkt vor dem Phalaborwa-Gate unschlagbar.

Leider hatte das Zimmer keinen Balkon wie gedacht, insgesamt gibt es lediglich ein Zimmer mit Terrasse (auf den Bildern irreführend). Das Grundstück ist sehr klein und bietet keine Möglichkeit sich ein paar Meter die Füße zu vertreten. In der Dachkonstruktion/Dachboden waren auch sehr aktive Tierchen zu hören (nicht schlimm, aber zu hören). Die Flexibilität Touren vor Ort zu buchen war sehr eingeschränkt.

Een prachtig hotel gelegen net aan de gate, ideaal om een Kruger NP drive te doen. De kamers zijn comfortabel en knap ingericht. Fijn zwembad, vlotte service en super vriendelijk personeel. Restaurant en ontbijt zijn eveneens op top niveau met een uitmuntende bediening. Dikke pluim en dank aan allen!

We had a great 2-day stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect for us: the rooms, service, restaurant and swimming pool. It gives you an Out of Africa feeling. Love to come back one day. The staff is very kind and helpfull.
