Property is dirty ,room not cleaned and poor services

I didn't like anything unfortunately. When I arrived the reception was closed, had to find someone to get me to my room. There was no key and the gate didn't lock to my room, so the one guy had to go find my key. I was told I would have breakfast with my stay, but it was not included. There was an old tissue on my chair, looked like the room was not cleaned properly. There was no toilet roll holder, the toilet seat was chipped and the Wifi didn't work properly. The walls are super thin, so I could hear the person next to me's conversation and laughing when I wanted to go to bed. There was no adaptor in the plugs to allow for charging of a phone as well as no tea/coffee as it states in the information. It was very expensive for not getting any of those items, nor was there even soap in the shower or at the basin, I had to go out an buy a soap, very poor and disappointing.

The location was easily accessible.

The door couldn't lock, the TV was not working, the toilet was leaking and the shower did not have a glass. Couldn't sleep well at night because I couldn't lock the door.

Tap in bathroom was broken, sliding door struggled to lock, safety grid without keys, no rail for your towels, had to ask for towels, only got 3 instead of 4 for 2 people, no curtain in bathroom, anyone can look into the bathroom. This place needs serious renovations. Not a 3 * standard at all.

1. The aircon was facing the bed. So I now have flue. 2. There were no cups to drink tea. 3. I didn't get the WIFI password 4. I had to open the gate myself meaning there was no security guard at the premises. 5. The bed made noise 6. There are more issues. But the bottom-line is this accommodation was unacceptable.

When we arrive Sesi Nomsa gave us a warm welcome and all staff members are friendly

My room was great but the bathroom did not look good. The shower curtain was a nuisance and the shower head was faced to the wall which I could not turn back. Other than that, the room was good

The room was clean, aircon was working and the room was spacious. The parking was just in front of my room. The beds were comfortable. And mostly the place is close to the restaurants and other shops

Kitchen towel were not available. The was no tea nor coffee. The was no mop and toilet brush to clean any mess that might have happened

The location was fine but not happy with the breakfast.

The facility must install permanent twin plugs for guests to charge their phones. They should make space for guests to hang their clothes. The towels look very old and changed color.

Location and breakfast was good

On arrival the host told me that the aircons are not working but he has a fan. The fan helped a bit only till loadshedding. There was no backup power to run the fan. Phalaborwa is extremely hot and there needs to be proper working aircons and back up power at all times.

Very centrally situated and only 3 minutes drive from Kruger gate.

The place is a bit run down. They were repainting and fixing the room next door. Our room was lovely, but the bathroom could do with a revamp -- chipped bath has seen better days.

Nothing and I am going to go to Hello Peter and recommend to Bookings.com that you be downgraded to a 1star.

Everything, the rooms, the breakfast - Directors getting cornflakes for breakfast, no coffee available, no teaspoons or spoons etc., disgusting.

Breakfast was prompt as requested and very good. We needed a place to sleep over, and Botabelo met all our needs, despite loadshedding just after we arrived.

There was no hot water for a shower in the morning.

There were no towels or toilet paper in bathroom. Tv did not work. Only one cup for coffee and 1 coffee sashes. Also construction work on property which was not mentioned on web page.

I liked how friendly and accommodating the staff were. The location is perfect, close to the city centre and close to work.

Nothing to like about this place

The property does not have power back up or generator, it is extremely hot and during Loadshedding you can not use the aircon, our toilet was not working and i had to struggle to get a bucket of water to flush the toilet, it's difficult to communicate with reception as the phone is answered by a person who is not at the property, i would never advise anyone to stay here at all.

The place is well located near town center and main route to KNP

The reception is clean and attractive.

I know that load shedding is not a problem of an individual but the management must device some means of getting generator that can supply all rooms with power. The very disappointing thing is TV that are owing Dstv. After a long day i was aiming to see what was going on with regard to the celebration of the new year, but the Dstv was suspended. No woodrope in room 8. During the booking i stated that i want breakfast but in the morning i was told that there was no meals because i did not book it.

The beds were comfortable and breakfast decent. Friendly staff. A mere 5 minutes away from Kruger Phalaborwa gate.

My room had an issue with plumbing in the bathroom, but I was given another room. There was also a problem with electricity. Had about 12 hours without no power. They did promise It won't happen again.

The breakfast was ok but try to change menu. It must not be same menu everyday try to explore please

Take care of equipment are in good condition e.g t.v in other rooms try to improve the rooms next the swimming pool e.g the single ones

If you do not have airtime, data or phone battery, this is the last place for you to go as you need your own devices and resources to communicate with the staff 6 no hot water in the morning 7. Bar fridge was not working (imagine in this heat) 8. Tv signal freezes every 15 minutes and you have to change channels so it comes back. 9. Check in time was 2 o clock, I arrived at 5pm and the room preparation was not completed 10. All you get is a small bar soap. No body wash, or shampoo or conditioner in the bathrooms Imagine all these happening in 1 night

Not much to like unfortunately

The standard of accommodation is very poor. Feels as though you are staying in the staff quarters. My room's furniture was very old and in poor condition. The bathroom was smelly and not clean. No kettle and no remote were available for my room. Poor service delivery.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was what we ordered but eggs were not prepared to standard.

There are no chairs to sit outside since the area is too hot duri g spring and summer
