I have stayed here for business previously and am very pleased to experience consistant excellent service and facilities no matter the client or whos paying. I knew what the rooms were like, the easy access and use of onsite parking, and location in the city. I would recommend to friends with no hesitation. Also liked the kids ate breakfast for free with paying adults - young kids are small eaters so often dont warrant paying full price.

After the first night our beds weren’t made & rubbish bins not emptied? I had to leave a note the next morning asking to rectify it?

The only thing that saves this place is the staff and the restaurant.

I’ve stayed here twice so far and both times the rooms were not clean. The bathrooms are the worst kept area. In the showers the build of of soap scum and pink film makes you wonder when last they actually cleaned the bathroom. There is mould in the sinks and the floors are dirty. The room has thick layers of dust. The second stay I paid for a higher room class thinking itl be better but was also the same. It had a lounge seat in it that was torn and clearly seen better days. Housekeeping really lets this place down.

I paid an extra $30 per day to park which was not booked ahead. It appeared to me that everyone who had booked parking was allocated a bay via their name being shown against a bay. This was not allocated to me and parking on the Saturday night became an issue.

Great location great staff, rooms were quiet and comfortable. I would defiantly stay again if staying in a city location. Did not get chance to eat inhouse.

The car parking very limited and for a medium-size hotel it has 8 or 10 complimentary car parks and ones in basement you had to pay for were great but only maybe 30 at most. No milk provided in room and has to ask 3 times before we got some.

Breakfast was busy and there was no food in the trays. So had to wait a long time in the que. Buy the time we got there thing where empty again. Maybe we should have been notified about a good time to come to breakfast?

The people. Every single staff member was so welcoming, genuinely kind, friendly, caring and honest. I loved my stay there because of the Amazing people who work there. Besides, the king studio was absolutely fantastic. It was the best hotel that I have ever stayed for sure. I totally recommend it for everyone.

Central location so very near to all attractions

A table but no cutlery Also the food and fruit kept on running out I understand it was busy but surely better plans should be I place for a long weekend Especially when you’re accommodating tourists from all over the world

We were disappointed at the level of service when checking in. Not allowing my husband into the room as I was not present was not great. I could have checked him in before I left to go to the Netball but that wasn't even suggested.

The check-in person with i think was the Duty Manager lady was rude and unwelcoming did not even take my email or contact details and was a little condescending and I think she purposely changed my room and downgraded my room to a accessible and interconnected room without informing me when checking in these are all hotel basics and I do not expect this from a novotel feel free to reach out if you need more details

Comfy beds, nice facilities. Amazing sauna.

Room wasn’t serviced while we were there. If you didn’t want it serviced then you put out the tag on the door however, we did want it serviced including new towels. Be good to have a bigger space for the gym with more weights.

There were a few random hairs in the bathroom. Apart from that the room was excellent.

Restaurant food was great. Staff were very helpful. Hotel was very modern and well laid out.

It is very unhygienic not to have a bottle of freshwater in my room. Having to fill kettle from bathroom is offensive. Some people may choose that. Others would choose to buy water bottles from fridge.

The staff were so so lovely and they really did take this stay from great, to exceptional. All of them were so kind and went above and beyond.

We couldn't figure out the speaker in the couch.

The staff were very attentive without being cloying. They were able to provide everything I requested (trim milk, extra teabags and cups and a towel) with good cheer

Underground parking facility, $30 p/night, video surveillance, great if you have a classic or unique car your always worried about, great breakfast buffet, well worth it, lovely dinner, comfortable bed...

The staff were awesome

The planks of wood at the windows. I understand why they are there but they blocked light from the room.

We found this hotel to be clean tidy with a large superior room. The carpet was definitely a standout. Loved the cow mural across the bed head. Plenty parking. Paid and unpaid. Friendly staff, and a great deal with included breakfast, which was a well stocked buffet with plenty of options. It was a pleasant surprise for the price.

Lovely clean rooms and bathroom, comfy bed, friendly helpful staff, great bar service, happy hour drinks. Free bike hire was a surprise bonus. Really enjoyed our stay here with friends to celebrate our 25th anniversary. Would love to visit again.

The room was clean and it had everything we needed, a wonderful bathroom, and a comfortable king size bed! It was a very beautiful stay.

The parking was a slight challenge at that time due too having no parks available during my stay. I had to park up along the main road to remain close to the hotel.

No balconies

We were upgraded to a Superior King room due to our membership status. It was nice to have a larger room over the smaller Studio King we had booked. There were 2 easy chairs in the room which is a rarity in most motels. The bed was comfortable and the room was soundproofed. We did not hear any traffic noise despite the hotel facing a main road. We were delighted to receive complimentary bike hire. They have 10 bikes and they are on a first come, first serve basis. We took 2 bikes not long after check-in and road along part of The Costal Walkway. We ate in the onsite restaurant twice and have reviewed it separately. We highly recommend this motel.

Parking is not free even its mention in booking.com. I think booking.com have wrong data. Very low speed wifi. Samsung tv which have only chromecast and its not working properly from iphone.

Bed, specially the mattress quality (low grade spring), not comfortable even for a child weighing 40-45 kgs. This was the major issue that enabled me to make my future stay at this property.

The Novotel is close enough to the CBD . On arrival the front desk staff were very helpful. My room was quite spacious and clean and the restaurant and their staff were very friendly and polite. They’ve got plenty of complimentary parking spaces plus paid parking spaces if you wish.

A kind and patient staff member helped me charge my phone, complete my online booking and book a very comfortable room for me and my children. It included breakfast. We also parked out the front. This place is hands down 10 out of 10 for me.

I wasn't sure if there was a space to do your laundry or if they only had a valet service.
