Love this motel. Looks modern and it is. Comfy bed, good facilities (microwave, small fridge). Bonus plunger coffee, Good parking - numbered slots outside your door.

The bed was very comfortable, loved the large bed, room was airey not cluttered with extra furniture. The view was exceptional, the balcony over looking the reserve. Staff were friendly, i would definitely recommend this Motor Lodge.

Its was perfect for our needs. Fantastic size and loved having the back unit so private and quiet.

Nothing bad just small detail that the curtains needed rehooking onto rails in places.

We had asked for an accessible unit to accommodate my elderly mother. This was provided and was great for her needs.

More lighting over the kitchenette would have been helpful.

Great central location, wonderful welcome from Law, well equipped incredibly clean room, very warm, double glazed very quiet. Fabulous shower with great water pressure, comfy bed & good sized tv. We look forward to next time we are in New Plymouth.

Clean, warm, spacious room, great location right next to the township, good having parking right outside our room and free laundry on site to use. Very close to a great bakery and fish and chip shop.

Secure off street parking, close to town yet quite. Very well appointed rooms, comfortable beds and good heating. Nice modern clean bathroom with great shower. Nice owners.

We stayed at a one bedroom apartment. It was very clean and comfortable with good quality facilities. The motel is in close proximity to most places we had planned to visit during our 2 nights stay. Hosts/staff were friendly and very helpful. Thank you🙂

Location to the CBD. Impressive shower, amazing pressure. Comfortable bed

The chairs, a two-seater couch, would have been more comfortable. Black out blinds for both windows. Written instructions on how to use the TV and the heatpump. A light in the kitchenette area so you don't have to turn on the main light. An awning over the entrance to the unit, especially when it's pouring with rain.

The location was perfect … and the staff very friendly and accommodating. Would recommend the azure to family and friends

Soap dispensers… like all hotels … takes forever to get enough tto get clean

Large room with easy parking out front. Plunger coffee is always appreciated. We also liked that this room had a Samsung Smart TV so we could very easily connect it to our own Sky Sport Now account.

Messy check in. There was nobody on site when we arrived and it took several calls to the mobile number on the reception door and the landline listed on Booking.com to speak to someone and find our room.

Strange placement of light switches not intuitive, the smart TV remote was to smart for us oldies instructions would be helpful. The step in and out of the room perhaps a wee sign on door reminder of step due to its height being higher than usual.

Was a last minute stop due to families house being flooded. Very convenient spot, immaculately clean - all the amenities you’d expect, plus a few snacks to purchase as well. Great hairdryer!

The kitchen could have a bit more utensils and crockery for preparing your own meals. Other than that we were very impressed and loved our stay!

We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit and it was spotless. The kitchen had everything we needed to make simple meals - even good knives!

The staff are super helpful and nice. The room is fresh and modern. The room is clean and very well laid out. Lots of room and very comfortable. This is a very very good motel.

This hotel is in a great location within New Plymouth. The rooms are all very well maintained and it is easy to get to the many restaurants nearby.

Clean and tidy

Great stay. Fantastic service and very accommodating with swapping our room to a downstairs one due to an injury.

We did struggle with using the TV remote, no instructions avail on how to use it.

Highlights for me were the staff, cleanliness, location, water pressure.

Not a complaint because a place will never meet everyone's mattress preference but the bed was too soft for my liking, I prefer a firm mattress but that could just be my bad luck with the bed I got??.

I chose Pukekura Motor Lodge for its excellent location near the Taranaki Festival of Lights, and it couldn't have been more convenient. The room was clean and functional, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The air conditioning was a massive plus for tackling the summer heat, and the beds were very comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep after a long evening of exploring the lights. A solid, reliable choice for anyone visiting New Plymouth!

While the kitchenette was well-equipped with the essentials, it would have been a great addition to have a plug-in cooktop for a bit more cooking flexibility during our stay.

Quick walk to Pukekura park and Bowl of Brooklands. Straight walk/drive to waterfront. Clean room with good facilities.

Had the room closest to the road. Very loud with traffic, not ideal for light sleepers. For future stays will request a back unit.

Location, clean, good vibes

Upgraded to a 2 brm apartment, which was great - king bed in 1 room, 2 singles in the other, small tvs with Freeview in each brm. Large lounge area with sofa, arm chair and another single bed. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge freezer, 2 burner hob, and dish drawer. 4 seater dining table. Spotlessly clean. Large Smart TV in lounge.

Only had sky sport channels - nothing else. Long walk from the car to the room for loading and unloading.

The room was clean and very well maintained, we had everything we needed.

It was a very pleasant stay, it was well air conditioned, as it was hot weather. Kitchen was great. Bathroom was a good size. We will be back for sure. Thank you for having us.

Only suggestion would be, is perhaps supplying floor standing electric fans for the bedrooms. Nothing much...just for added comfort. Thank you.
