Location and staff
The room was noisy and hot. The noise of the road is something not use to. However I could hear the person in the next room snoring. Curtains hanging off and would not close properly
Location good. Nice sea view (did pay extra) Easy to get to from train station.
Room not ready on arrival. Very small room not very clean. Rooms cleaned on request (night before) Requested room service not carried out next day. Had to complain to get it done. Only one hand towel per couple. Bed so uncomfortable had to request new mattress.
Location is good. Breakfast is excellent. Staff are amazing friendly and helpful
Overpriced for the tiny room. WiFi doesn’t work which was very annoying as my sons are gamers. the staff excuse for this was quite unbelievable shower tiny. very dirty in communal areas the tables were sticky and also the floor I just wanted to buy bleach and clean them
Bedroom was clean & tidy, beds comfy.. lots to do at the jubilee hotel and on the seafront. Food at the hotel was lovely too and reasonably priced. Would definitely stay again.
Good location, friendly staff

Service and staff
Comfortable bed, good "pub" style food. Location. Dog friendly.
Parking, keys for everyones car kept in a drawer and not even labelled up as well as extra charge to park. Hotels, like airlines all are jumping on the charge for everything bandwagon ibstead of providing it as a service Ground floor room actually up a flight of stairs from reception
Public areas were spacious for its guests capacity.
Very tight lift space 🙃
Location, breakfast and staff.
Check in time could maybe be slightly earlier.
Booked a delux room got a twin instead Small shower Bedroom smelt like shit And got bites all over us think it’s bedbugs
They have bed bugs There room was shit WiFi was poor Staff smelt
The location was great Food was ok , but service not great. Room was comfortable.
The lifts were extremely small and ancient probably Victorian ! The room was small, a lot of dust ! sticky bedside table where drinks had been . Shower was a bit black in places and door was stiff. Damage in room from previous guests was told we wouldn’t be charged for !
Small room, bed wasn't very comfortable, quite dated

Fresh drinking water available at all times.
Being aggressively phoned just before arrival, I had to clear the call 5 times in 2 minutes. Then to be told that our room wasn't available! Being squashed in to a room for 3 when there was 4 of us. Paid for gold room for 5 as im a disabled lady need my own bed, My grandson had to sleep on the floor. Told by booking in lady I dont look disabled, I was forced to use 2 flights of stairs after being told there was a lift to my room. Then shouted at when I said I informed you I was disabled, as in Hotel by messenger, and I got a reply, she said I never told her! I have a terminal disease, this was the last time I could take my grand children away, so I made the most of out trip to the sea side, but the treatment from this booking in woman was awful, and the room was bad too.
It suited my needs
All was ok
Good location, friendly staff, room clean and perfectly adequate for a 1 night stay.
Karaoke downstairs could be heard in the room but wasnt overly loud and finished at a reasonable time.
Friendly staff close to beach booked a sea view so paid a little extra but overall it was lovely
Stairs from car park to ground level
All the staff are amazing !! Saxon, Nadine and Jessie are brilliant. The entertainment with Josh is also amazing. Really good job from all. The rooms are lovely a clean and spacious ❤️ We have been many times and will return many more.
petit-déjeuner super. Bon emplacement.
karaoké très très bruyant jusque 23h et plus dans le bar juste en-dessous de notre chambre... et les rideaux étant très peu occultant nous étions réveillés tôt par la lumière du jour le matin
Love the property second time we stayed here for the scooter rally very accommodating towards parking all the scooters 🛵🛵🛵 and great cocktails 🍹 😀
It was easy reach to shops , bars & beach
Do think breakfast should be included, also if I hadn’t got a disability badge really expensive to park & the hotel car park is to small to accommodate for everyone
The location was great and the breakfast was great
I hadn't realised that the entertainment went on til 11 at night. If I had known I would have asked for a room on an upper floor
Very nice
Sea front
Bar and entertainment on site
Lots of dogs
The location was excellent as were the staff, all very helpful. The breakfast was exactly to my tastes and kept me going throughout the day. The room although small was ok, one thing - the kettle to be on a high shelf with little or no room could cause a problem if you didn’t want to move to other units, and maybe a couple of hooks to put wet towels on. Overall well satisfied and will stay again
Not a massive problem, but I had a lovely sea view, except the windows were a slightly bit dirty, but not the end of the world
Excellent location. Staff were very friendly and helpful
Our toilet was blocked but it was too late to let anyone know as we only found out on our return from the fireworks
Location. Comfortable beds
No toilet roll. No soap in dispenser. Previous guests wet shorts were stuffed in bathroom bin and hadn't been emptied. Beds had not been separated.
Staff were really friendly and accommodating.
It’s a bit of a maze but after the first day you get your bearings. Staff are helpful and it’s well sign posted.
Bed was comfortable and breakfast was good. Stuff were ok
The room was very bad, under what I paid for. No bathroom only shower facility and too small if you have a baby. Not on the main hotel, was at some kind of service area No view, windows don't open so very hot at times. Internet was off on the our last day. Not happy with the hotel in general and wouldn't want to go back there an wouldn't recommend it.
Breakfast
Hot water in toilet no cold water
It was on the front overlooking the sea
Our room was very tired looking, carpets could do with a good clean , i was expecting a nice room I did mention it to the reception, as i had originally booked afternoon tea and after seeing our room i then cancelled it, the hotel couldn’t refund my money but gave us a £30 voucher to use. We didn’t used the spa but i do think the pictures are misleading.

was given a double room at street level so asked to be moved a floor higher and there was a room available, very happy with the room change, better view and even a little balcony to sit at, bedding and towels etc all good standard, plenty of space in the room. Spa was an added bonus
The staff couldn't have been more helpful. They were efficient and friendly. I enjoyed an evening meal as well as lunch; the food was delicious. I also used the bar once and was happy, both with the service and product.
Unfortunately, the bedroom was positioned in such an area that evening activities/performances, from 8 to 1130pm could be heard extremely loudly. I would like to stay at this hotel again but shall ask not to be allocated this particular bedroom.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room - a Bronze - was tiny, but that was as expected from the website - it was clean, and had everything necessary, including a floor standing tower fan, which was essential given the heat. The bed was also very comfortable. The valet parking situation is great, considering parking in high season in Weymouth, though at £10/night on top of the room rate...still probably worth it though. The hotel also has a large range of facilities, including a spa, and nightly entertainment in the bar/restaurant area (bingo, quizzes, karaoke), if that's your thing.
As I was on my own, the size of the room wasn't a problem - but it would have been very cramped for a couple. The food, from the smokehouse, though generous and fairly priced, was incredibly salty. And the rear patio area is right on the car park and not all that aesthetically pleasing - it could really use some TLC. Having said that, it was nice to have somewhere shady to sit outside, with a drink from the bar, that wasn't as crowded as everywhere else in town, so needs must.
The location was convenient and the staff were friendly.
The room had visible damp and was not in a good condition. My allergies became worse, and the room door was also left open and unattended during cleaning. With cost me my cosmetic damage . Kettle was not disale . Bed not comfortable like for 3 star hotel , bed like mattress for 100£ from market . Not hotel bed . The charge for bed change !!! With should be including in service !!! Not worth money for that price ! Thx ! Houskiping instead of open window fresh room the close window so u can’t se in yellow light not proper clean . 1 blind also was broke so i cant open and see more think in natural light . Iron on corridor was not work when i ask then new one then the give after 1 day but there iron bord no where . Very disappointed.

Nice hotel nice location
Nothing
Close to the sea 🌊.
Small room, inconfortable bed and dirty rooms....no air conditioner, just a small fan,
Location - staff very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Outside space
A little more care with cleaning in the rooms - dusting, shower etc
Location was perfect
Rooms very small and was noisy
I strongly recommend that you think twice before booking this hotel. For me, it was a huge waste of money and one of the worst choices I have made. I stayed here for 4 days, and during my entire stay the room was not properly cleaned. I repeatedly asked the staff to clean the room because my son is allergic to dust, and every time they told me they would do it. However, when I returned from the beach, the room still had not been cleaned. The rubbish was not removed either, even though I repeatedly asked them to take it away. I also called reception asking for fresh towels. They would say “yes”, but in reality, there was almost no chance of actually receiving them. The hotel itself is very old, dusty and poorly maintained, and cleanliness was one of the biggest problems during our stay. My son had two allergy episodes during our stay, which was extremely upsetting for me as a mother. I explained the situation to the staff, and although they acted as if they understood and felt sorry for us, their actions showed absolutely no urgency or genuine effort to solve the problem. Unfortunately, some members of staff—not all—were also extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. The breakfast staff were particularly disappointing. When we went to eat breakfast, some of them looked at us with an attitude and made us feel completely unwelcome. Basic politeness and hospitality were seriously lacking. I am writing this review so that other families, especially those travelling with children, can make an informed decision. Please be very careful before spending your money on this hotel. Based on my experience, I would never stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone. The money I spent here was simply not worth it.
The view from the window.
Cleanliness. appreciate it's a old building with limitations on redesign, but the carpets are dirty especially on the stairs and in the lifts. We asked for the room to be serviced, and all that was done was the bed remade, and fresh towels, but only one hand towel, and no anti slip mat in the shower. Biscuit crumbs were left, which were there when we arrived. Coffee and milk were not replenished, and only one tea spoon. The soap dispenser in the shower was broken and needed replacing. Stains in the sink and toilet basin. When it was mentioned on checkout, nobody seemed to care. Breakfast, never any croissants available, the milk dispenser was old, rusty in places, and could do with replacing. fridge didn't seem to work, as yoghurt was warm and curdled. Although we like dogs, they should not be allowed in the dining area, or at least there should be a designated area for dog owners to dine.
Good location 10 mins walk to centre of beach and town
Parking is not good they demand your car keys to keep moving your car, on 2 occasion I had to sort out my wing mirror and they did not close them and were knocked out of line. There is no key control your key is in a unlocked draw with no record of use. We felt like prisoners and could not use car as we liked and were trapped. Bathroom was not cleaned items left in from previous user and shower gel empty. Broken window in room and broken vanity basin in bathroom. No hair dryer and when asked for one I was treated like a lier as they wanted to inspect my room before giving me one. Hot breakfast was good but continental was extreamly poor 5 crossants on plate if your lucky. Tables were cleaned quickly of plates but not once did i see the table tops being wiped when cleaned with sanitiser just a dry cloth at times.
Entertainment and bar staff were lovely - salt of the earth people. Location was really great.
It was oversold and over priced. I had to take the “sofa bed” and it was the cheapest piece tat I’ve ever seen. It was one that folds in the middle and doesn’t have a mattress and it was also on the wonk so I kept rolling out of it. They gave me a nasty topper after I mentioned it - it did nothing. I didn’t sleep for the 2 nights we were there and my back is still hurting.
The sea view and location were amazing
Room had hardly any plug sockets and the ones we did have were broken or no use to anyone
Staff going a little furthet than required

Food was good.
Very small room.Old wooden floor, could hear everything from the neighbors.
Friendly Nice place to stay
Parking
A nice room, albeit small but we booked at short notice. Sea view a bonus. Clean. A good selection of cooked food, pastries, fruit, cereals, juices, tea and coffee, for breakfast. A varied selection of food in the evening from the bar. Staff friendly, helpful, polite. A good quiz and bingo offered at the weekend. Fun atmosphere in the bar, and well attended. Would definitely stay at The Jubilee again. Thank you 😊
Tap leakage in bathroom with faulty washer, meant water running down back of pedestal. Big puddle on floor. Reported to Reception. Attended by Maintenance.
The room we had was enormous. Only downside was we were directly on the front so a little noisy at times. Lovely location though. Breakfast was yummy and they even gave the dogs their own treats
Car parking roulette. I understand why as the space is very small, but just a tad awkward
Position was great
Onsite parking is a nightmare
Perfect location, very friendly staff, comfortable bed.
The bathroom was tiny and shower wasn’t great. There was also a lot of noise when other rooms were using their shower. Also our tv was faulty so we had virtually no sound.
Everything was Very well organised. Very helpful lovely friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble when asked . Parking guys so organised and friendly.
Needed some updating, mostly coat of paint here and there. Looking a bit tired. Need new pillows.
Took my parents 92 and 88 on holiday sea view lovely, but very noisy due to heat and windows open..
Small lifts.
On arrival it looked cheap and run down, was greeted by a barking dog and drug users staying there trying to sell us drugs, not good at all especially with my child. Our room was right at the top in the roof, very cramped. It was extremely hot and unbearable even with two fans by my bed. It felt like it was a last moment put me up room that shouldnt be used for a room. The shower was tiny and I'm only 5,6 the light came off the wall. Downstairs felt like i was on show on a CBBies programme with mr tumble. It's the worst hotel iv ever had to stay in.
Breakfast and evening meal excellent. Clean friendly environment. Family games room was great especially with a 6 year old to entertain in the evening.
The beds as both the double and single were not comfortable.
Good Breakfast.
Rooms are quite small also double bunk beds are about to collapse.
Staff were helpful
he first room was dirty and smelled of smoke. We were upgraded to another room. This one had bed bugs so we we checked out. The hotel gave us a full refund and assured they deal with the bed Bugs. Chloe on reception was extremely helpful
The room was excellent, comfy bed,
Didn't think a lot on the carvery, didnt like the coffee from the coffee machine.
Entertainment was very good staff always there to help and friendly
Show iny room was constantly falling apart and shower rail was not fixed at right height or distance so water was going all over floor had to have it Seen to and tail rail needs better fitting as replacing used towl it fell of wall several times
Really friendly staff who couldn’t do enough to help. Great location! Everything we needed in our room with bonus of a pool table for the kids.
If we were being picky only slight things. No GF food at breakfast available and extra fee for parking.
Staff welcoming, excellent location on the sea front, room was lovely
The room hadn't been cleaned and owner argued it had. She was really rude. Her staff are doing jobs that are not there actual jobs, we had the entertainment manager and beauty therapist cleaning our room as it was absolutely discusting. The beds hadn't been changed, stains and hair on them, Toilet was discusting, dust on appiliances. Dirty marks on bedside cabinets, desk and in cups. After it was cleaned the room was lovely.
Excellent breakfast. Property as described. Basic but clean. Bit of a rabbit warren to find your way round but okay if you read the signs!!
Great location, friendly staff
The sofa bed is rock hard, a thin mattress topper offered which made little difference. On top floor, one small desk fan in the room which isnt sufficient for top level or the heat we've been having. Could see the bathroom tiles or shower hadnt been cleaned well. Room was tiny. Parking is extremely confusing. For the money we paid we felt really disappointed by our experience.
All the staff were amazing, friendly. We all had an amazing time and will definitely be going again. Would highly recommend to family and friends.
There was nothing we didn’t like.
Fabulous hotel . Great food . Great staff . Perfect location overlooking the beach .
The staff was very nice
Didn’t like how you at cross over to another hotel oh so it was a lot of walking like a stairs lift broke down twice
Location was okay and Staff were helpful but no interest in how stay was
The room was semi clean however smelled of smoke and had dust and dirt all over the hairdryer, mirror. Toilet holder hanging off the wall. The room had no aircon, we were given one small fan which was terrible. The room wwa so hot. System for parking is not safe i was handed someone elses keys upon checkout. The shower was not safe, it went from boilIng hot to freezing within a matter of secondsm. Not great value.
Nous avons apprécié l aide de la personne de la réception pour changer de chambre rapidement. Très sympathique.
Moquette partout je l avais pas lu dans le descriptif. La 1ere chambre proposée avait de mauvaises odeurs dans la salle de bain.
everything went according to our expectation
to be able to leave our luggage after check out for a bit longer
Location car parking , friendly staff
It could have been cleaner , the bedding was clean but the mattresses were stained which I thought was terrible could do with new pillows , The electric cable on the hair dryer was not safe The shower door was coming off Could do with hoovering under the beds Could do with some draws in the room
The view, the varandha
Room was small, breakfast was a little chaotic

Areas to consider
Cleanliness
4.5/10Multiple reports of unclean rooms: stains, hair, uncleaned toilets, and one room with bed bugs leading to checkout; significant negative impact on cleanliness perception.
Service
8.8/10Staff repeatedly praised as friendly and helpful (Chloe called out); staff responded promptly to complaints, though some staff were seen covering cleaning duties due to issues.
Location
9/10Consistently described as excellent/ideal — beachfront, on the promenade, and close to restaurants and amenities.
Room Quality
5.5/10Mixed to poor: some comfy beds, but many mentions of very small rooms, awkward layouts, collapsing or unsafe bunk beds, rock-hard sofa bed, and maintenance issues (shower fittings, rails).
Amenities
7.5/10Entertainment and family-friendly features (pool table, shows) praised; bar described as well-stocked; some maintenance problems affected amenity experience (shower rail, fittings).
Value for Money
6/10Several guests felt disappointed given the price (confusing/paid parking, lift issues, small rooms); some felt it was acceptable for short stays.
Food and Beverage
7/10Breakfast was often praised as good/excellent and well-stocked, though some criticized the carvery, coffee machine quality, and lack of GF options.
Overall Experience
7.7/10Many guests reported an enjoyable stay due to staff and location, recommending the hotel; however, serious cleanliness and room-quality incidents (including a bed-bug case) tempered overall impressions.
