Breakfast was fair; they prepared our breakfast in boxes for the Safari.

The facility was too bad, like the swimming pool was soo green (dirty), spiders in the rooms.

Location bellissima, piscina confortevole e camera spaziosissima, con letto stra comodo. Buon cibo, personale gentile e disponibile. Super consigliato!!

La struttura è molto bella e ben organizzata. Dopo il safari presso lo Yala, abbiamo potuto rilassarci in piscina. La mattina ci hanno organizzato la colazione al sacco da portare al safari. Abbiamo apprezzato la cena a buffet cone anche la colazione.

Muy bien ambientado en plena naturaleza y habitaciones cómodas. Pedimos habitación contiguas para los niños y estaban conectadas por una puerta. El personal muy atento y pendiente de tus necesidades. ¡Como en todo nuestro viaje por Srilanka!

Lo peor sin dudas el restaurante. Tardan más de una hora en servir y sacan cada plato separado del resto. Pedimos unos spaguetis con aceite y ajo para un niño de 11 años y era imposible de comer por el picante (adjunto fotos de las guindillas que tenía!)

Really enjoyed my stay at Elephant Reach Hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with fresh watermelon juice, which was a lovely touch after a long drive. Special thanks to the receptionist Shakya Dewmini for the warm and helpful hospitality throughout my stay. The hotel is peaceful, clean, and surrounded by nature, making it a perfect stop before or after a Yala safari. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the on-site restaurant made it easy to enjoy dinner and drinks without leaving the property. Overall, a calm and convenient stay with great service and a relaxing atmosphere.

Close proximity to Yala. Nice surrounding of the chalet and very helpful and kind personnel. Room was clean and without insects. They were kind to serve us dinner even after closing time.

Pokoje byly čisté a pohodlné. Pěkný bazén i celý areál. Bohaté snídaně do krabice s sebou.

Velmi pomalý personál,především v restauraci. Seděli jsme tam sami,přesto jsme na jedno z jídel čekali hodinu a třičtvrtě. Hluk ze sousedního bungalovu přes spojovací dveře .

It was a good distance from the national park. The restaurant manager Amali was a particular highlight - A lot of the staff were indifferent, however, Amali was always willing to help in someway and make sure we had a better experience.

We picked this accommodation purely for the fact it had a cot. However, the ‘cot’ they provided was actually a bassinet which was not suitable for our 1.5 year old in anyway. It would rock and he could easily climb out. We had to put him in the bed which he is not use to and we all had terrible both nights we stayed there.

Schönes Hotel in sehr guter Lage nahe dem Yala-Nationalpark – idealer Ausgangspunkt für eine Safari. Die Anlage ist großzügig gestaltet und der Poolbereich bietet eine angenehme Möglichkeit zum Entspannen. Unser Gartenzimmer war grundsätzlich sehr schön, groß und sehr sauber, lag jedoch direkt unter einem großen Baum mit Früchten oder Nüssen. Während einer stürmischen Nacht fielen diese immer wieder auf das Dach, was sehr laut war und uns mehrfach aus dem Schlaf gerissen hat. Dafür kann das Hotel selbstverständlich nichts, dennoch ist es aus unserer Sicht erwähnenswert (Zimmer 101). Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis empfanden wir insgesamt als leicht verbesserungswürdig. Teile der Einrichtung wirken etwas in die Jahre gekommen und das Lunchpaket für die frühe Safari war recht einfach gehalten. Sehr positiv hervorzuheben sind hingegen das abwechslungsreiche und qualitativ gute Buffet am Morgen und am Abend sowie das ausgesprochen freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal. Besonders der Kontakt mit Amali hat unseren Aufenthalt bereichert – ihre herzliche und engagierte Art ist uns sehr positiv in Erinnerung geblieben. Insgesamt hatten wir eine schöne Zeit und haben uns – trotz kleinerer Kritikpunkte – sehr willkommen gefühlt.

The only three things that we liked were: 1. The location was great, nothing really around but very convenient to the park or to the main roads on the way down south or towards the north. 2. The staff was absolutely great, specially Anuradha and team. She made sure that we were well taken care of, and always available for anything that was needed. She really cared about her guests. 3. The Ayurveda massage, the therapist was brilliant, one of the best massages that I have experienced, which is great after long trips.

The furniture seems old, it seems as if they do not take care of it that well, also not the cleanest of places.

Close to the Yala National Park, egg station at breakfast and spacious room and bathroom.

There was noise from the fuse box during the entire stay. Everything is calculated on top of the initial price, including coffee during breakfast... The water in the pool is not crystal clear. The dinner is a buffet.

La suciedad del baño, que aparte de ser antiguo, llevaba mucho tiempo sin tener una limpieza a fondo. Aparte de que el mobiliario pide una renovación cuanto antes. Y el paquete que nos dieron de desayuno para llevar al safari muy pobre. No creo que el buffet en el hotel con desayuno incluido sea así.

The food on our first night all came out cold from the kitchen. Really put us off of eating there.

Location is close to town and Yala safari entrance. Lovely property with a nice safari feel. Buffet dinner was reasonably good. Didn’t try the buffet breakfast due to early safari. Friendly front desk staff.

Very thin towels and no tissues provided in the room. Shower areas could be upgraded as drains looked old and some visible mouldy areas.

The location was convenient and closer to Yala. The rooms were good and spacious in the Chalets. Also the surrounding was nicely covered in trees and the location of the pool was very closer to the chalets.

The Food at the hotel were very expensive compared to usual Sri Lankan Prices. The bathroom itself was good, but there was a noticeable sewage smell coming from the toilets. It seemed like they tried to mask it with a lot of air freshener, but the smell was still present.

Chalets were in need of refurbishment, broken shower taped up with black tape, water spurting out everywhere, towels smelly and the whole chalet was generally shabby. Restaurant service was poor 1 of the party of 4 had buffet and the food trays were empty he was constantly waiting for food to come out, 3 of us had a la carte which was nothing special, we were presented with the bill without being asked if we wanted a dessert, the whole experience was very rushed and reminiscent of a package holiday resort. Very disappointing and very over priced. Worst Hotel in Sri Lanka so far

Nice property with helpful staff. They helped us with late checkout of one hour to accommodate the safari return.

Service was excellent, the staff were very kind and thoughtful. My wife and I had a lovely stay here.

The environment was very good. Rooms were clean. Food was good. However the buffet spread found a little less.

The pool had some damages with broken tiles which could cause injuries. The pool bar was not manned which resulted on looking for the bar man each time we needed service.

The hotel isn’t too far away from the Yala National park entrance which is the only reason we were staying in Yala.

The shower was broken, the water wasn’t hot, the rooms smelt damp, the wifi did not reach the rooms. We complained about the broken shower and were moved to a different but smaller room. So overall not a great experience. The staff did do their best to fix the situation though.

Struttura bellissima. Personale gentilissimo, super accogliente e disponibile. Al nostro arrivo ci hanno fatto un upgrade e invece della camera normale ci hanno dato uno chalet (senza che glielo avessimo chiesto). Cena molto buona. Colazione ricchissima e spettacolare. Sopra il ristorante un bar con un biliardo (gratuito) e cassa bluetooth a cui attaccare la tua musica. Cocktail incredibili, nonostante non fosse nel menù il barman mi ha preparato un passion fruit mohito pazzesco!! Camera molto carina con aria condizionata, tv, bollitore, tè/caffè e frigo bar. Doccia enorme, welcome kit molto buono. Purtroppo non abbiamo usufruito della piscina che però era molto bella.

The staff were excellent, especially Anuradha who I felt looked after me personally. Breakfast in a bag supplied, in lieu of eating in the restaurant, as I was on an early morning safari. Pool looked inviting, but it was pouring on the day I might have used it. The shower in my room was fantastic, one of those rainforest types, with great water pressure.

I went for the buffet dinner rather than à la carte, which was tasty enough but lacked hot Sri Lankan dishes (there were cold Sriracha Lankan options).

Lage sehr gut für Yala Safari. Nur 20 Minuten zum Parkeigang. Wer möchte, kann auch direkt an der Rezeption buchen, Die Anlage rund um die Pool hat Potential, der Pool wird gepflegt.

Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht. Restaurant und Küche eher durchschnittlich, mit unzureichendem Versuch italienische Pasta Klassiker anzubieten. Die südasiatischen Klassiker sind Ok. Versuche, die in dr Karte angebotenen Appetizer als ersetn Gang zu bekommen, waren trotz ausfühlicher Bitte und Erklärung nicht erfolgreich. Das man an der Rezeption nicht wusste, was der eintritt in den Park kostet, ist unverständlich

We had a quality time at 'elephant reach' hotel and it was such a great vacation for me personally as i love being with nature friendly spots. The hotel is located in a scenic and spectacular surrounding that is easily accessible to anyone. Cozy ambience, cool breeze and superb jeep service around yala park.

Artistic place. Nice and calmy environment. it's amazing. Delicious local breakfast and dinner. The place is very peaceful. so many things around to enjoy.

well maintained rooms, garden and a clean pool with an excellent service. different types of rooms for affordable price ranges. The food was excellent and the restaurant offers a large choice of dishes.

The hotel hospitality was great. Exceptional staff. Even at late night I was able to order from them and nominal fees was paid. The owner was extra nice and accommodated all my request. all of the amenities worked really well. yala travelers must have this hotel on their bucket list.

Very calm location, nice pool, very friendly and helpful staff. Really relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are huge! Overall a really nice hotel. air Conditioning also worked really great! The manager was not on site, but still made sure all our needs and wants were met. Good breakfast and the staff was always smiling.

Where do I start ….. everything about this place is absolutely gorgeous. Very well maintained and spotlessly clean. Spacious room well equipped, meals and others all conveyed in a professional manner. the biggest pool surprised us.

Great place to stay in Yala, a little oasis outside of the safari park. Massive shout out to the staff who were so helpful with an issue with our booking! They really go above and beyond with their interactions with the guests.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The warm and friendly welcome made us feel right at home, and it was evident that the staff genuinely wanted to provide the best experience possible. The accommodations were clean and tidy, which added to our comfort. We absolutely loved the pool; it was a good size, impeccably clean, and surrounded by trees that offered ample shade. Additionally, the Sri Lankan dishes were both delicious and generously portioned.

Could not have asked for more than for what we paid for. The facility was bit old and it shows the changes due to time. The AC was bit noisy in our room.

Hotel agréable composé de beaux bungalows dans un jardin au calme, les chambres sont belles et spacieuses. Nous avions réservé 2 chambres, que nous avons pu avoir côte à côte comme demandé (chambres communicantes). Belle piscine très agréable le soir après le Safari, ainsi que le matin avant notre départ. Personnel très accueillant, l'hotel est bien situé à proximité du parc.

Le restaurant est assez moyen, mais c'est un avantage de pouvoir manger sur place

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in Sri Lanka mit einem Relaxtag vor der Morgensafari hier gestartet, dafür ist das Hotel super geeignet. Neben dem Pool, ist auch das Spa prima und auch eine Tuk Tuk Fahrt nach Kirinda ist lohnenswert und macht Spaß. Das Frühstück war auch prima und das Personal superfreundlich.
