In general, the room was good, and the location was perfect. Breakfast could be richer; there should be more cheese options. One of the important things that I like is that they have an iron in the room. But they do not have slippers, which guests should not have to request since it is a common standard in hotels.

If they have a variety of cheeses as a choice.

Gutes geräumiges Hotelzimmer in zentral gelegenem Hotel. Unser Kind bekam beim Empfang einen Gutschein für ein Eis im Restaurant. Das angeschlossene Parkhaus ist praktisch, und man erhält einen Rabattcode vom Hotel (Bezahlung per App bei Anreise). Tipp: Parkhaus nicht vorab buchen, wegen 30% Rabattcode, den man erst beim CheckIn sieht.

Die Toilette war nicht optimal gereinigt bei Ankunft. Mit etwas putzen war das aber schnell selbst erledigt. * Die eigentliche Rezeption im 2. OG ist nicht besetzt, dafür der etwas kleine Schalter im EG. War nicht gleich zu durchschauen. * Vom Parkhaus aus gibt es zwar einen Zugang zum Hotel, aber keinen Aufzug für die erste Treppe.

Located close to the center of Bristol, this hotel is very comfortable and spacious. The staff is courteous and informative. Had a very good stay here.

Though the Hotel isn't responsible for it, the parking situation is a mess. Plenty of parking but mismanaged by Q-Park. But again, the hotel isn't owning the Parking. But a solution for customers would be great!

Achter de gordijn bevindt zich een muur ipv een raam! Slechts 1 smalle raam in de hoek van de kamer , ongeveer 40 cm breed. Verder geen daglicht. Nergens om gebruikte handdoeken goed op te hangen om te drogen/ luchten waardoor elke dag nieuwe nodig. Geen planken/ plekken om kleding neer te leggen. Alleen hangruimte, slechts 5 hangers. Moesten dus uit de koffers leven. Aanbod in het restaurant viel tegen, en het kwam vaker voor dat wat we wilden bestellen van de kaart of drankenkaart niet voorradig was. 's Avonds niet echt een veilige buurt. Mensen met een drugsverslaving en/of zonder verblijfsplaats kwamen we zeer vaak tegen, ook dichtbij het hotel. Niet duidelijk hoe ze geholpen worden in dit stad maar het blijft een onveilig gevoel geven, ook soms overdag

The gym was excellent. The breakfast was ok.

Very expensive food options. Parking very expensive also. The hotel offer a 30% off code - but you only get told about the code when you check in…. After you have already paid for parking in the q-parks app?????? And the discount can’t be applied retrospectively…. Baffling.

When we arrived we were greeted by a young lad ( Jacob i think ) on reception. After booking in we went upstairs tried to sort out the parking online but couldn't work it out. Came back down to reception for help, one man wasn't sure but Jacob knew how to do it and applied our discount code. Thank you Jacob 😊 you was a great help, keep it up. Oh and thank you for the birthday treats on the bed and the cake , nice touch 👍🏼

The room was excellent, very spacious, booked for disability access, as my husband has a mobility scooter. The walk in shower room was great. Plenty of electric sockets for charging phones, etc. Plenty of choice at breakfast, well cooked. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially Lohith, Proveen, and Angelika, the chef in the kitchen.

Were not able to open windows in the room due to the setting. Had to get used to the air con controls, to adjust room temp; maybe printed instructions would be useful. We did call for assistance in the evening after arrival as the room was too cold, shown how to adjust it. Using the lift from the car park, to get to the concierge desk at street level, had some trouble getting out with mobility scooter as the door was at a right angle to the one at car park level. Some manoeuvring had to be done.

We can’t thank the staff enough for their hospitality during our stay. My partner was having heart surgery in the hospital and had to stay overnight so we extended our stay. They gave us complimentary late checkout and breakfast for our extra night. A special thank you goes to Praveen, he was so friendly, always smiling, so helpful, so hospitable always checking on us and it goes such a long way. Thank you so much Praveen :-)

Location was where we needed it to be for what we wanted.

Car Park and how to register, staff member not helpful in terms of how to log in and register, told me to read the sign on the front desk and if not working to visit the duty manager but didn’t inform me where they were and that I only had 15mins to do so and if not done within this time then I would be fined! Very poor air conditioning and didn’t blow any cold air out into the room. Premium double room with sofa bed not fit for purpose for 2 adults and two children (age 13 and 15) Sofa bed far too small and when I requested a single bed this was also not an option. Door handle on the bathroom door wouldn’t close and also came off. Bathroom shower screen leaking water onto floor.

Tv konuş yeri sanki eğreti konmuş hibeydi. Duşda tutacak bir mekanizma yoktu. Klimadan koku geliyordu sanki filitresi temizlenmemiş gibi idi,bende hiç açmadım. Tuvalet kâğıtları tek kat kaliyesiz bir tuvalet kağıdı idi.

The breakfast was very good. Cooked food nice and hot and a very good selection for breakfast. The location is excellent, short walking distance for us to get to the hippodrome.

I feel when staying at a hotel, you should not have to pay for parking, and it would be nice to have a toilet brush in the en suite bathroom in your room.

The air conditioning device was difficult to operate when we arrived. The bedroom was freezing cold on our arrival and it took quite some time to figure out the a c device despite the instructions displayed on the wall. The bedside lamp only worked on one side of the bedside cabinet. Difficult to read in bed with glaring main lights on in bedroom.

They were nice, they were on top of the cleaning whilst we was gone and my partner was impressed.

Not all the elevators was working, but beggers can't be choosers.

I liked the spacious room, mini fridge was great along with hairdryer, towels, coffee/tea kettle etc. bed was comfortable and staff were friendly and check in was easy. Good location too!

The bathroom was very small and a bit claustrophobic, I’m not sure if there’s an option for a bigger bathroom with a bath etc.

Needed fried eggs made fresh when each table arrived to the dining room for breakfast. I feel the price of breakfast merits this . breakfast staff could do with one more team member. the air conditioner worked well in our room but the dining room was too hot in the evening. and the Temporary air conditioners were not effective

The staff are really friendly and helpful the manager in the kitchen bar restaurant is very understanding and approachable we asked for a refund because my son didn’t eat his breakfast he had tantrums and really agitated my son is autistic and no questions ask she refunded us easily we will come back definitely I hope I asked her name every one is so friendly and helpful♥️❤️♥️

Location is excellent for getting around bristol, the front desk staff were lovely and it was easy to change our minds and add in a breakfast!

The room could do with a refresh, lots of dings in the paint and wooden desk/furniture. There also appeared to be some kind of stain on the ceiling above the bed like a bottle of coke had exploded? Finally the lights in the bathroom flickered when the shower was running, which wasn't confidence inspiring.

Great location, rooms decent size and clean. Breakfast was a good buffet. Not too noisy so slept well.

Our room 423 had almost no window. Just one very narrow (maybe 30cm wide) tall window. The other room was great.

Over 3 hours on the phone to this lot, 3 people trying to deal with a booking that included breakfast, but when I spoke with the hotel, they said my reservation did not include breakfast, I sent screenshots to booking.com and they still couldn't resolve it. Person 1 and 3 had a very poor understanding of English. Person 2 said she would call me back after ten minutes! 5 hours later NO PHONE CALL!!! Hotel said I had to deal with booking.com and booking.com said they had to get authorization from the hotel!!!!! The left hand doesn't know what the right is doing! My calls were cut off twice, number 2 agent called me back and the phone showed a Hong Kong number!!!!! They have no idea about customer service!!! DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES OF A COMPANY!!!

Booked the best room with balcony on 7th floor. Worst room ever - hasn’t been updated since the Seventies by the look of it. Awful furniture, stained carpets and balcony filthy with seagull droppings and an open drain hole. Rather stay in a Travelodge which sums it up. Avoid and go the The Clayton.

I was here for 9 days to visit my mom, in a care facility. It was a last minute visit as my mom needed to be moved and my family, local to Bristol, were out to town so I came from the states. I was a solo traveler and had a nice time here. The breakfasts were lovely. I would be off during the day to see my mom and pack up her space for the move. In the evenings I would grab a bite to eat in the bar or restaurant. Ashish and Sai were very kind as was the above manager. They greeted me and welcomed me upon my return nightly. I also met another lovely employee who is on the academy side! I don’t know her name. She has family in the states so we talked about that. She also talked about her experience with dementia and had you tube suggestions. Everyone was very kind and welcoming

Our stay was lovely! The hotel is close to bus stations and is walkable to many attractions. Our check-in was smooth, the room was spacious, air conditioned, and had an amazing shower! Our breakfast was also delicious with many English breakfast options. Praveen, Archna, and Christeen were very helpful in the mornings during breakfast and made our stay even more enjoyable. We were also able to have our luggage held for the day after checking out. I would stay here again!

I have used Holiday Inns previously and the facilities and staff have been as expected.

The price was extortionate for one night. But I was only able to book the previous day so was a bit desperate.

Narrow window in the room which didn’t open at all. On arrival, walking into the room felt like walking into a fridge. We had to heat the room up with the air conditioning unit even though it was a very hot day, which felt like such a waste of electricity.

The room was reasonably clean and well appointed. The location was fair, with relatively easy access to the city centre, tourist and university area. The evening/night staff were helpful and informative.

We tried to book a taxi at reception. The deskman seemed to find this an unusual request and had some difficulty. The Taxi never arrived. We eventually booked an Uber ourselves. Car parking is too expensive considering the cost of the room.

My mum travelled over 10,000 km from China, and the first breakfast she had after arriving in Bristol was at Holiday Inn because I knew that it couldn’t have been a better choice! The food is always delicious, the service is warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere is perfect whether you’re meeting friends or simply enjoying a relaxing morning. This place never disappoints, and we always have the best time here. Thank you to the fantastic team, we’ll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The housekeeping service did not meet my expectations during our stay. The room was not properly cleaned, and the attention to detail was disappointing. One of the cups provided still had visible coffee stains, and although we requested a clean replacement cup, it was never delivered. We also requested basic items such as bowls, plates, and ice cubes, but instead of having them brought to our room, we had to personally go downstairs to collect them ourselves. This was inconvenient and not the level of service expected from a hotel. Additionally, the parking/drop-off arrangement was frustrating. Taxis and Uber drivers were unable to drop guests directly at the car park due to the lack of a grace period, which made drivers reluctant to enter and drop us off there. This created unnecessary inconvenience, especially when arriving with luggage. Overall, the service experience was below expectations, and I hope the hotel can improve its housekeeping response, guest assistance, and arrival/drop-off arrangements for future guests.

Had a fantastic stay at Holiday Inn hotel in Bristol! The location is absolutely excellent and made exploring the city so convenient. Check-in was an absolute breeze thanks to the efficient front desk team, and Vikram went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well looked after. A special shoutout to Amit, the chef, who was incredibly accommodating and prepared wonderful Jain food for us.

I couldn’t get in to my room, after returning to the reception twice and ringing them from the 7th floor a manager finally came. Who then had to call the caretaker. It was just long and all I wanted to do was relax after a 3 hour journey.
