The room was a Deluxe Double with a King size bed and a single bed. It was spacious, clean and well equipped - although a very long way from the lift. Fine for a single night's stay.

The bathroom. There is a walk in shower. On the wall of the shower is a notice to be careful not to slip and advice to put the towelling mat on the bathroom floor, which we did. But it was the floor of the shower itself that was very slippery. My friend discovered this when she slipped over in the shower and hurt herself. I chose not to risk having a shower because of this. We reported the accident to Reception as we checked out and a Manager was called. She told us that if we had requested a non-slip mat to use in the shower, they would have provided one. Seriously? How are we supposed to know this? It was not offered when we checked in and it should have been. This is dangerous. No compensation was offered and frankly saying sorry is not good enough. I will not be booking to stay any any Clayton Hotels going forward.

Πολύ ωραίοι χώροι, άνετο δωμάτιο και εξαιρετικό κρεβάτι. Πολύ φιλικό και βοηθητικό προσωπικό και πολύ καλό πρωινό. Γενικά πολύ καλό ξενοδοχείο.

Δύσκολη πρόσβαση. Το ταξί δεν επιτρεπόταν να φτάσει μέχρι την είσοδο του ξενοδοχείου, υπήρχε κατεβασμένη μπάρα στο δρόμο και δεν μπορούσε να προχωρήσει. Επίσης υπήρχαν σκαλιά στην είσοδο. Δύσκολο όταν έχεις πολλές και βαριές βαλίτσες, όπως εμείς.

That there were two separate blocks and it was awkward and difficult to find room in second block

Welcoming staff, accommodated us with some minor issues we had with the room. The girl at the bar was an incredible cocktail maker and very pleasant.

No problems at all, any issues we had were promptly dealt with by the lovely staff.

The staff on reception were super friendly and helpful. Also, the location was perfect for our needs.

When we arrived in our ‘deluxe double’ room, apart from being disappointed that it only had a double bed, we were more shocked to discover it had a huge pillar in the room. This not only restricted the light from the window, it proved to be quite difficult to manoeuvre, and caused pain to legs and toes. My cousin, who had booked after me, had a superb room, with a king size bed, and plenty of space.

The only downside was the location of the room on the first floor. We had a huge heavy suitcase and no-one on the staff was able to direct us to the room without using stairs. I hurt my back. We discovered ourselves after we could take a lift to 3rd floor and then another one to first to a place with less steps to lead to the room.

La posizione è perfetta per visitare la città e c'è un parcheggio pubblico vicino. L'acqua ghiacciata e aromatizzata nella hall (idratation station). La colazione ok.

Abbiamo avuto due camere: la prima era piccola con un letto tra due colonne ed abbiamo chiesto di cambiarla. La seconda era al terzo piano e si affacciava sulla hall che era illuminata 24/24 senza nessun affaccio all'esterno. Di fatto notte e giorno erano la stessa cosa. Inoltre i letti matrimoniali sono piccoli e adatti solo a persone di bassa statura e magre. Lo staff

The pillows were extremely dusty, previous guests hair in the shower, had a cup with someone’s old lemon pip in it (found out after drinking half) and room service was very expensive for just two pizzas (£45 nearly)

Not being able to turn down AC at night

The hotel was in a very good location, the rooms were very large and comfortable with all their facilities - fridge, table, chair, shower and the overall area. I used the gym which was very good as well and the breakfast had a good variety.

While checking in, the time was 2pm and upon approaching the counter, the employee was kinda rude and straight away told us that check in is at 3pm. She could have helped us, took our information or at least been polite in the way she delivered this message. The breakfast was good, but lacked variety on a daily basis as the food was the same daily. The wall plugs near the bed were not working in both sides, and I called the reception 3 times over 2 days to have someone fix them but they did not do so.

Very good located near Bristol Flyer Bus Stop (approx 5mins walk). Breakfast was ok, but some downs regarding the eggs. Walking distance to downtown Bristol (Kings Road, Harbour etc ) is good. Would come back for a longer stay.

Seems common in Britain, no fridge in room. Breakfast eggs (scrambled or poached were - hmmm - well, we had it better somewhere else).

I have found the Clayton Hotel to be immaculately clean. Lovely bathrooms, good shower, comfortable beds and nice tea/coffee facilities. Great facilities in reception such as hydration station, uber booking pod, tear off maps of Bristol city centre and umbrellas to borrow on rainy days. Would highly recommend.

After staying several times, on one occasion there was some mold in the shower of the room I stayed in and a chipped tea cup in tea making facilities. Would not put me off staying as all other times rooms have been immaculate.

Hotel je přímo v centru města, ale v klidné lokalitě. Vše bylo perfektní až na šířku manželské postele, ta byla poněkud menší, takže jsme se moc dobře nevyspali. Snídaně vynikající, jako výchozí bod pro prohlídku města naprosto super.

Didn’t have breakfast. Location was great for seeing the old town. Also close to BRI, I was staying at the Clayton the night before an operation, which is why I didn’t have breakfast.

Everything was fine. No improvements necessary.

There were no aspects I did not like

Tolles Hotel im Zentrum, gute Ausstattung. Hatten diesmal erst ein 2-Bett-Zimmer im Printworks-Flügel (etwas verwinkelt zu erreichen ;-)) und dann ein 3-Bett-Zimmer vorn. Die Zimmer sind gut bemessen, großes Bad im 2-Bett-Zimmer, geringfügig kleiner im 3-Bett-Zimmer, Schreibtisch, Fernseher in ansprechender Größe, Tresor für Laptop geeignet, sehr viele Steckdosen, fast alle zusätzlich mit USB-A-Buchse. Sehr freundliches, zuvorkommendes Personal: Wir kamen nachts 1:00 Uhr an und der Wasserkocher sorgte für das Rausspringen der Sicherung. Es war innerhalb von ein paar Minuten behoben! Frühstück hatten wir diesmal nicht, da wir einige Frühstückslocations in der Umgebung lieben. Wir haben uns wieder sehr wohl gefühlt.

TV was broken, sink was blocked, asked for assistance and no one arrived or apologised. Also ordered a pizza via room service and took over an hour.

Ubicación perfecta para explorar la ciudad y acceder a transporte público y visitar alrededores. Confort de la habitación y el hotel en general también estupendos. El desayuno también es recomendable.

Good sized, comfortable room in great location.

Asked for an earlier check in but didn't receive a reply. Decided to turn up at the hotel an hour before check in. Quite a long wait to see someone at reception. No early check in was available but we felt this could have bene handled better.

Les chambres sont propres, confortables et calmes. Le personnel est sympathique. L'hôtel est très bien situé dans le centre, proche de nombreux restaurants et accessible à pieds depuis la gare.

Great location and iconic building

Booked through booking.com and pre paid. When I arrived the receptionist told me that I had booked 2 rooms when I booked one. I showed her the booking and she was adamant that I’d made an error, when it was actually the hotel. She did cancel the other booking but she didn’t apologise for the error or trying to charge me for a second room. Stayed here before with no issues.

the tv was a bit complicated to use and the placement was off it would’ve been better if it was infront of the bed instead of beside it. I also had a power bank taken from my room after it was cleaned so that really took the rating way down

Our room was miles away from the main hotel in the printworks wing. We are both in our 80s so it was very difficult carrying our bags along never ending corridors.

Posizione centralissima per visitare tutto comodamente a piedi. Albergo di design ben arredato e con una hall e una sala colazione molto belle. La colazione abbastanza buona. In stanza ogni giorno acqua in bottiglia e biscottini per il tè molto apprezzati.

La stanza era veramente molto piccola senza possibilità di appoggiare la valigia se non per terra. Un pochino scomoda.

The scrambled eggs were a bit bland ... odd criticism but there you go. The beds were very soft....for side sleeping not ideal.

Lovely modern design

The room was very quiet and large enough for two people. It is near the centre and easy accessible by most buses.

The duvet cover was torn and had some small stains. I think it had been washed, but the stains couldn't be washed out.

La ubicación es muy buena, está muy céntrico y puedes visitar prácticamente todas las atracciones principales de Bristol a pie. Para las más lejanas, también pilla bastante cerca las paradas de autobús. Además, las instalaciones del hotel son muy buenas, la limpieza excelente, el tamaño de la habitación y del baño muy bien, y tenían agua gratis en el hall de entrada (para beber en vaso o rellenar tu botella), lo cual se agradece bastante. Habitaciones también muy silenciosas, aspecto que valoro bastante. Y relación calidad/precio buenísima, repetiremos si volvemos a Bristol.

El único aspecto negativo no depende del propio hotel, ya que en los alrededores del mismo había bastante drogadicto, pero en general en Bristol, por desgracia, hay mucha gente viviendo en la calle, por el centro es difícil encontrar zonas donde no haya algún grupo de personas viviendo en la calle.

The hotel is clean and modern. We booked a double/single so the room was large with a great bathroom/shower but awful view from window! Whilst the hotel is centrally located and makes everything easily accessible, the area around the hotel wasn't great e.g dirty. The bar prices are expensive. The breakfast was good but could be improved i.e. only 3 cereal choices, limited fresh fruit or continental offering (apart from copious pastries).

My room didn't have a hairdryer, and if you stay at the Print work wing, be prepared for a long walk and having to change lifts.

Przede wszystkim lokalizacja, bardzo blisko centrum możliwość dotarcia do najbardziej interesujących punktów raptem w kilka minut pieszo. Pokój w mojej ocenie bardzo ok, ale nazwa deluxe delikatnie nie pasuje :).

Jedna uwaga, nie to że nie pasowało, ale można by bardziej urozmaicić śniadania.

Breakfast was great, lots of choice.

The set menu for the evening meal was limited choice and did not have lactose free option. Ended up having soup and the sweet potato and chick pea curry. Was very tasty but was not hoping to eat a salad as thr weather still warm, and a vegan burger as main.

La camera era interna al terzo piano con finestra sempre interna con affaccio nella hall dell'hotel posta al 2° piano. Per arrivare in questa camera il percorso è stato lungo: ascensore dal 2° al 3° piano poi tre saliscendi con valige su rampe di scale strette e faticose . Altro disturbo i taxi non possono arrivare davanti all'hotel in quanto zona Green, quindi gli autisti ti danno appuntamento dove possono con google map.
