Location and beautiful old landmark building

Stained carpet, insufficient and broken seating, not very clean, paint peeling, water damage, poorly equiped kitchen … the list goes on and on. Basically would have been a great property in the 1990s but hasn’t been maintained since then.

Great location and view, very comfortable and a good shower. Easy instructions for checking in, felt like we had the place to ourselves

Parking, the paid parking was a bit far so I worked with the public parking instead, no issues with this though just needed to move the car a few times during the day

The location was Great, walking distance to cafes, and restaurants. Also close to main shopping strip. The apartment was clean and spacious for two couples and the beds were very comfortable. Would definitely recommend to stay.

Fantastische locatie pal aan zee en veel restaurantjes en koffietentjes in de buurt. Ontzettend ruime kamer annex woonkeuken.

It was a beautiful room and very large. Stress free getting in. We will definitely stay again

Beautiful views out across the sea. Right in the centre of Napier in a lovely building. Huge apartment and such a nice terrace to hang out.

The lockbox didn’t work. We tried the code several times. We even had the neighbours help us try the code. The owner came out after about half an hour and let us in. It was all fine but there’s clearly an issue with the lockbox.

The view and the location were perfect. We got very good arrival instructions, as no staff there. The beds were really comfortable.

The shower was a rain shower only. The hand held shower head did not work. The air con did not seem effective. Luckily windows opened, so we could let cooler air in

L'emplacement est très bien, proche du centre-ville et la vue sur l'océan superbe . Le studio est très lumineux.

L'appartement n'est pas très bien isolé et en bordure de route mais il y a très peu de passage la nuit donc ça va.

There was a mix up with our room but the staff were very helpful and quickly upgraded us to a wonderful spacious apartment with a terrific view over the ocean.

Es ist eine superschöne Unterkunft mit genügend Platz für 2 -3 Übernachtungen. Das Besondere ist tatsächlich ihre Lage: in der Nähe des Strandes, des Museums, der wichtigsten 20-er Jahre Gebäude und guter Restaurants. Wir waren am Samstag da und hatten nebenan den süßen Wochenendmarkt. Das war toll! Es lohnt sich also das Appartement zu buchen, auch wenn es ein kleines Problem darstellt, gut und günstig zu parken.

Kontaktaufnahme unprofessionell, Badezimmer benutzt, weil Apartment nicht verschlossen war. Heizkörper im Bad defekt, Wasserschaden im Schlafzimmer, Dunstabzug im Bad dreckig…

Das Zimmer war schön mit tollem Ausblick. Die Unterkunft sehr zentral.

Der Check in funktioniert nicht. Die beschriebene Vorgehensweise hat gar nicht funktioniert. Wenn möglich, hätten wir in dem Moment kostenfrei Storniert und hätten eine andere gewählt. Mehrfaches Schreiben per mail hat dann nach langer Zeit den gewünschten Erfolg gehabt. Der Parkplatz ist einiges entfernt. Die Strasse direkt vor dem Haus kommt auch nachts nicht zur Ruhe, sondern wird gern als Rennstrecke missbraucht.

Excellent location, beautiful facilities, well appointed clean and functional. Incredible dining room, round table and views from the dome.

Location is great, but can be noisy after the new year stage was being taken down . You’re on a busy road so Seaview rooms will get the traffic as the window is single glazed. But what a view sea front and people watching the location is perfect for it . The shops and restaurants are in walking distance.

I was expecting noise but the stage abd clearing up after the concert went on for hours single glazed windows don’t stop a lot of noise.

Great location lots of space, nice bathroom, lovely and clean, quiet despite central location above Lone Star eatery.

Parking was extra and warden told us to move on when loading cases.

Loved the location and the absolutely huge room! Right above Lonestar and Starbucks and across road from the beach. The manager was great to deal with by email before we arrived by late check in. We didn't encounter staff other than that.

Strange smell in the entrance before you take the lift upstairs. Room was fine but the smell in the entrance was strong.

Wow! One of the nicest places we have stayed. Beautifully appointed, big room, great facilities, awesome location. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

We stayed at the deco dacant penthouse and it was fantastic. We loved the layout of the penthouse as it was spacious both indoor and outdoor. Also had beautiful views from most of the penthouse areas.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Dome. The bed was super comfortable, the views amazing and it is so central to everything. We will certainly be back!

The location and the view

The apartment felt like it could be cleaner and there was a fair amount of deferred maintenance (patio door lock non functional, unpainted patch on the ceiling, peeling varnish on the outside of the patio door, etc)

Only comment we could make is better parking, excellent room we loved our stay

A stunning old building with timber floors, high ceilings and spacious accommodation. Good kitchen and laundry facilities and lovely big bath. Great central Napier location.

Tired fittings, some needing repair. Blown globes around the mirror. Shower door does not seal well and water can leak out of the bathroom onto the hallway carpet. Water only just hot enough for the bath. All this not enough to detract from a lovely place to stay.

Stunning veiw.. woke up to beautiful winter sunrise.. very private with a touch of elegance.. adored the balcony veiw while sitting with family.. centre to everything.. clean and welcoming.. cant wait to book again.

The Deco Decant unit at The Dome was really nice! Beautiful views of the ocean and Napier. It’s a very spacious, clean, newly renovated and nicely furnished 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment, with a washer and dryer even. Very comfortable king beds and soft robes were very appropriated. The dining room in the top dome room is quite neat too. We would love to stay there again.

We had a lovely stay at the Dome. The room was spacious and clean, also very quite. The Dome is in walking distance to cafés, hot pools, cocktail bar... which made our time there very enjoyable, my husband isn't able to walk a lot so the position was wonderful. Thankyou we will stay again .

The apartment was a bit pricey for 2 (it's really designed for 4+ people), but even so was definitely worth it for the experience
