This is very basic... No cutlery, no coffee, and only two poor tea bags. The lounge was also closed, and apparently, the staff didn't have access to it.

We came here only to use the onchen and were told at checkin it opens at 6. At 6 it was closed. Really annoying and disappointing as the photos of the sauna onsen is what made me book it. Massive let down.

Zero apreski

LOVED our 3 night stay here! We upgraded to a room with a view over the slopes, costs extra but totally worth it. Hotel has a storage room for your ski gear which is heavenly after hours on the slopes, and a microwave in the common area to heat meals up so you don’t have to buy restaurant food every day. However don’t skip on the buffet breakfast - delicious, lovely views and the coffee was the best we had in all of Korea. Unreal. Go early to avoid queues.

Wish there was a larger kitchen area but a microwave is better than none!

Really nice ski storage room in the hotel and proximity to slopes are the best things about this hotel.

The hotel itself is decent, but overall the experience was disappointing due to several small but important issues. Not all staff speak English, which made communication difficult, and the place feels more suited for local visitors rather than international tourists. There is no daily room cleaning, which was unexpected. The resort area itself is quite limited and the only 2 restaurants close very early (from 8.30pm you can’t order food anymore), the hotel buffet is overpriced, and there are almost no facilities in the hotel. There are no proper bar or sports massage options like in European ski hotels, and no places nearby to relax in the evening, even for something simple like a cup of tea. Overall, despite the hotel being fine, these factors significantly affected the experience.

It is located right in front of the ski field, so it is very convenient to access the slopes..

Unfortunately, the evening buffet option is no longer available, which was disappointing. Another disappointing aspect is that the hotel does not provide daily cleaning service; guests need to request this.

Great view of the slopes so we stayed here again because we loved it end of 2024 but it’s not the same. No restaurant or service or atmosphere downstairs any more - zero apres ski! Room was poorly cleaned - no sugar, shower gel, spoon replaced after room cleaning (only every 3rd day anyway) and mugs / glasses not washed up. Had to clean room ourselves! Very disappointing when paying top dollar for a room!

Outdoor valet provided is great. Room is spacious. Next to Ski house and ski school.

Facilities are not updated. F and B is limited. Humidity is insufficient in room especially in winter period. No airport transfer or shuttle service provided. Breakfast buffet everyday is the same variety.

The safety chain on our room's door was broken upon our arrival. Although we immediately reported this issue to the housekeeping staff, it remained unfixed for the duration of our 5-day stay, compromising our sense of security. The hotel has adopted a sustainability initiative where room cleaning is scheduled every three days. However, the policy for towel replacement was unclear. We had to personally request fresh towels from housekeeping staff, as they were not proactively changed.

숙소는 작은 스위트룸이였는데 방안에 욕조와 샤워가 있고 거실이 따로 있어서 너무 편했어요~

결혼기념일 여행으로 갔는데 전반적으로 다 괜찮은 편이고 다만 욕실 청소는 조금 더 깨끗했으면 합니다

조식 입장시 식권 접수 직원의 웃음기없고 지시조의 응대 태도가 다소 불쾌하였음.

Very helpful in arranging my stay, I had to change the date and got help very fast! My booking was for 2 people, but I was travelling alone, so at the breakfast I was offered a lunch box to take out due to me only using one breakfast pass. I appreciated that very much!

The fitness center was closed "due to renovations", but there was no renovation, only a sign to say it was closed.

The room was perfect

Friendly staff but English quite basic. Ski School White Tree was excellent with English speaking staff which was very helpful and friendly.

It is quite new, clean, the restaurant on the 3rd floor has a good selection of food, the aprés ski experience in the lobby lounge was exceptional because of the amazing brass band.

The quality of food at the buffet was good, but could be better, particularly for fresh fruit and the waffles and pancakes could have been better. It would also have been nice to have a covered path to the ski school and ski rental buildings.

휘닉스 호텔 시설은 나쁘지 않으나, 방음이 안되는 편이고 밤에는 난방이 그리 좋지 않아 추웠으나 오후부터 문의할 수 있는 프론트가 마감이여서 호텔이라고 하기에는 사용이 불편했습니다

Great location overlooking the slopes with very easy access to them - super efficient. Room was clean and spacious, fabulous views. Cleaning staff was very sweet lady. Good bath tub for after skiing ! Breakfast good & food downstairs also simple but very well prepared.

Bed was a double - felt small and could do with more bedding like extra blankets.

Inexperienced front desk staffs who made multiple mistakes on the payment

The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. The room was not as clean as I hoped with hair in the sink and shower. The door did not open correctly. We were four and only received one towel, we did receive extra upon request. Beds were not the most comfortable. The hotel holds several events and during this time guests cannot use exits or make use of the only bar available. I was surprised with the lack of options at the hotel for coffee/snacks and drinks.

Carpet in the room didn’t seem very clean. Queue for breakfast was very long, especially on weekends up to Tuesday

Staff should be better verse in English. Housekeeping hung up on me when I asked for extra towels in English.

모든게 완벽한 여름휴가였어요 룸컨디션도 좋았고요 한가지 아쉬운건 앞방 아이가 너무 소리를 질러서 아동학대로 신고해야 하나? 할정도로 시끄럽게 고성을 질러서 불편했어요. 호텔 복도에서 정숙은 기본매너인데 부모님도 엄청 시끄럽더군요. 이건 호텔에서 잘못하신게 아니라 그분들 개인이 문제인거라… 호텔 직원분들 다 친절하셨고 정말 극성수기라 너무 지치실법도한데 응대 잘해주셔서 감사했습니다. 저희는 워터파크 눈탱이맞았어요 ㅎㅎ 그냥 아무생각없이 갔다가 웬만한 호텔방값을 내고 입장했어요 ㅠ 태기산cc 도 저렴하게 재미나게 이용했고요 루지도 재밌었고 음식도 맛있었어요 저는 커피 너무 좋아하는데 집에와서도 조식커피 남기고 온게 자꾸 생각나네요 ㅠㅠ 저희 다담주에 다시 가려고요 ㅎㅎ

첫 방문이며 2박3일 묵었습니다 3시 체크인이지만 2시20분쯤 룸 배정 받았습니다 호텔동 룸 컨디션은 기대한 거 보다 좋았습니다 다만 급하게 정리하고 배정 받은건지 기본으로 있어야 할 수건이 2장 밖에 없었고 변기 커버에 소변이 튄 자국이 있었습니다 그것도 시간이 오래된게 아닌 얼마 전의 자국이더라구요 물로 닦아내고 수건도 요청하여 바로 받았습니다 솔직히 조금 껄끄러웠지만 그 외 룸 컨디션은 다 좋았습니다 위에 언급 한 두가지가 제일 큰 아쉬움이였네요 아 그리고 룸에서 데스크로 전화연결이 오전시간에는 매우 어렵습니다 근데 네이버로 검색하여 나오는 직통번호는 또 한번에 받더라구요 이건 좀 의아했습니다.... 그리고 부대시설중 워터파크의 경우 검색이라던지 조금 알아보지 않고 간 잘못도 크지만 객실 할인 25프로 받고 6살 아이와 성인 두명 이용하니 17만원정도...그리고 구명조끼 대여 간식거리 구매하니 20만원은 훌쩍 넘어버리더군요 이 부분은 조금 검색도 해보시고 여러 상품이나 패키지를 구매해서 가는게 금액을 조금이나마 절감 할 수있을 거 같습니다 카드사 할인도 추가적으로 있는거 같구요 그냥 이용하기엔 생각보다 금액이 세게 느껴졌습니다 조식의 경우 셋이서(성인2,6살아이1) 8만5천원이였고 객실할인은 없었습니다 7시30분 오픈인데 35분에 도착하니 이미 사람이 많더라구요 3층에서 식사했으며 오전에 엘베도 오래 기다립니다 왠만하면 오픈시간때 가서 드시길 추천드립니다 먹고 나올때보니 대기줄이 많이 길더라구요 1층도 같이 이용할수 있는거 같으니 문의해보심이 좋을듯 합니다 그리고 리프트,루지를 방문당일 2회권 끊어서 오후 5시쯤 이용하니 선선하고 좋았습니다 체크아웃하고 난 후 곤돌라도 이용했는데 생각보다 오래올라가고 정상에 도착하니 시원하고 좋았습니다 주변에 조금 유몀하다 싶은 관광지는 대부분 차로 50키로 정도 내외에 위치 한거 같습니다 저희는 대관령 양떼목장 , 딥다이브 두군데였는데 운행시간이 30~40분 정도 거리였습니다

몇해째 여름을 이곳에서 보내고 있는데요. 나름 조용하고 쉬기 편안합니다. 몇박이 더 남았지만 즐겁게 하루를 보내고 적습니다.

Excellent staff and accessibility

방과 화장실의 청소상태가 엉망입니다 수건에는 머리카락이 붙어있고, 테이블은 물걸레질도 안하는지 얼룩이 여러곳에 남아있습니다 침대보에는 피자국이 있습니다

기대하지 않았는데 꼭대기층 주셔서 전망이 좋았고 편의시설(특히 약국) 있어서 좋았어요 그런데 워터파크도 안 가고 스키도 못 타는 계절인데 피트니스 시설이 별로고 실내 수영장이 없어서 조금 실망했어요!

아이와 가기 좋은 숙소입니다 방도 넓고 워터파트 키즈놀이터 루지 등 아이랑 즐길거리도 많아요 그런데 부페 퀄리티는 전보다는 약간 덜한듯 하지만 괜찮은 편입니다

리모델링 된 객실 깔끔했고 얼리체크인도 좋았습니다. 주차도 투숙객만 들어올 수 있어서 여유롭습니다.

잠깐의 휴식을 겸한 힐링 여행지로 좋은 장소인것 같습니다

초록초록한 산 뷰를 큰 창으로 즐길 수 있고 지하 통로로 편의 시설도 이동할 수 있어 편안하게 잘 쉴 수 있었네요! 만족합니다^^

The hotel rooms and hallways need upgrades and updating but the location and the views are stunning! The facility itself is superb.

very comfortable. easy to get to the ski park

Phoenix Park is 2nd largest Ski Resort in Korea. For hardcore ski-ers, the resort may not offer the best slopes and snow powder. However, for just ski fans, the resort has everything you can wish: arcade, water park, bar, karakoke and more. We stayed at the Blue building which is a condo for family. Hardware were renovated, and we liked the fact that the building had a central location, all the facilities were minutes walk and connected underground (to avoid cold weather)

I paid more for a mountain ski slope facing side. The view was great, however at night when they turn on the snow machines for the entire night, you can hear the loud drone from these machines.

The location was very convenient for skiers, and the view is spectacular overlooking the ski trails and the mountains.

We booked the Party suite, but the description on their booking.com site was inaccurate about the bathtub so the hotel was kind enough to upgrade us to the Presidential suite. Some disappointment in the presidential suite was the loose faucet in kitchen, bathroom door handle loose and couldn’t securely close. Water in the shower room runs into the bathroom toilet floor. Inaccurate buttons in room phone and wrong room number on the phone. The daily little things like the Q-tips, the coffee capsule, and water were not filled and have to call in to request. Also, no room service for food or drink.

Nowhere to have a drink in the hotel in the evening without food

Gave me a free upgrade and wonderful service it was unforgettable trip two thumbs up

The views from the room were beautiful, the rooms were spacious, the beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast was one of the best I've had in Korea! The location is the best and there's a great variety of things to do and places to eat.

직원들의 응대 및 시설 이용 안내가 매우 부족

Family: 2 adults with 2 teenagers (14 and 16 years old). Separately we also came with 2 other families (that had a 4 and a 7 year old as well). Duration: 3 nights and 4 days Room: 2 x Superior Twin + Breakfast or Lunch + All day pass + Winter Spa Review: We came to Pyeongchang Phoenix Hotel via the free shuttle bus from the train station (please note, this is not provided by the hotel, it's a "Pyeongchang" suburb free shuttle - so it collects people from different locations and drops them off at set places). On arrival to the hotel, we were given a long receipt that contained all of our inclusions that we had purchased with our hotel stay (just be aware that it is complete Korean Hangul). Our inclusions meant that every day that we stayed we could have either breakfast/lunch (buffet), all day lift passes, and everyday entry to the blue canyon water park. One side of the resort has views of the mountain and the other side of the resort has views of the ski fields (be aware that the ski fields have bright lights on for the skiers until past midnight every day). The staff all tried very hard to speak English, and we also tried to speak Korean! Google translate was a definite language barrier saver and so is patience from all involved! Our only real criticism were the very soft pillows and a slightly annoying door that wasn't able to close easily and beeped until it was shut. We were also only given 1 bath towel for 1 twin room. However, when we politely asked for more towels, they were more than happy to deliver us more towels. Access to Pyongchang ski park: The access to the ski park from this hotel is incredible. It is a true "ski in and ski out" resort. The ski fields are truely incredible and groomed twice a day. It's open from 8am to 12 midnight. On-site Ski Gear Valet: We would valet our gear in the hotel and go down from our rooms each day and either put our gear on and then come back and put it away. All of our boots and ski's would be dry and ready to use again. Super Easy! It is all self service though, so don’t except anyone to help you. Food options: There are plenty! We experienced a few in the resort and a few local ones just outside the resort (5minute walk away). - Level 3 Ondo restaurant: has a great buffet for lunch and breakfast. Food is quite diverse and tasty. The kids loved the variety. - Butcher Grill - was very expensive, but had great quality meats to eat. The kids enjoyed it very much. - Chinese Restaurant - was not that great in our view. - CU Convenience marts - there are 2 of them in the resort and gave us all a fantastic option for different foods/drinks etc. the kids loved going there for snacks and lollies and ice cream and we had quite a few sweet potato's! - Bars - plenty of them around! Great variety! Some outside as well, where you can sit, have a cocktail whilst around a fire! - Cafe - the coffee was good. Access to other facilities on site: - Blue Canyon Water Park - easy access to an indoor/ outdoor water park. Initially we thought it wouldn't be suitable for our teenagers and only for our niece and nephew (aged 4 & 7), but with the variety of heated spas and pools, it suited all ages. The ski instructors would go there to soothe their sore muscles at the end of the day in the 41 degree spa! - Lift Pass Ticketing Office - Super easy access. 90,000 won for all day pass. Ours were included in our accomodation package. - Rental - super easy and cheap. You can rent ski/poles/snowboard/boots and clothing (jacket/pants/helmet). - Ski School - super easy to go to and well priced. We did private lessons every day. They break it down to 3 lesson times. 10am-12 midday, 2-4pm and 6.30-8.30pm. - On-site bowling alley- 8000 won per person and goes until midnight every day. Super fun after a day skiing. - On-site arcade games for the kids. About 1000 won per game. - Hotel Sauna - it is a “naked” sauna with a male and female section. It is 18,000 won per person to enter. Overall, we had a fantastic time at this hotel/resort. It gave us great access to the ski fields and is a true "ski in and ski out" site. Access to so many facilities enabled us to enjoy it as a family! We would definitely come back to stay here and highly recommend it to all! Great value for money!

Spacious room, good food, all things nearby, helpful staff. Have coin laundry in the next building.

We had very big room with large living room and small kitchenette. I wish they have microwave and a bit of cutleries. We bought some food from convenience store, but there was no opportunity to use it. Though there is a microwave in the common space.

Stay at your own risk!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Phoenix Hotel. The rooms were very big and could accommodate all of our stuff. The ease of walking to the get to the ski slopes was incredible! I love the premium day pass, which included equipment rental, all day lift tickets, the sled park AND lunch! So convenient! They also have a good selection of slopes for various ski levels. The staff were friendly and always helpful. There are 2 convenience stores on property, which was handy for snacks. We really enjoyed the activities at the Central plaza each evening- karaoke, billiards, bowling.

One of our rooms had a dirty coffee cup and the convenience items (ex toothbrush) had not been replenished. Both rooms only had 1 bath towel (despite being 2 twin rooms). But, I must say that when I brought this to the attention of staff, they were quick to fix it and very apologetic.

Great location right next to the ski park

We got downgraded!! the room from family room to 2 twin rooms on the first night. It was really annoying that we had to move all our stuff to a new room while we were supposed to be resting and enjoying the snow with our family after our snow boarding lesson. Front staffs weren’t really helpful. I had to go up and down 3 time because the cards didnt work when i was moving our stuff alone. The hotel is not cheap. I wish they would improve their customer services.

This hotel does not provide coffee and tea bags, i stayed for 3 nights and only the first night I had coffee and tea bags, They only provide 1 towel for a twin room, when i asked for additional towels, they delivered 2 towels that full of long hair embedded inside the towel.

The hotel faces the ski slopes and the room is spacious and comfy.

It's at the centre of the ski resort, so very convenient to go anywhere, dining, shopping or skiing.

Staff was able to accommodate my last min request to extend stay

Stayed in renovated superior double room that was very clean and neat. No bath but spacious shower.

All of the staff are very friendly and helpful.I joined In The Soop package this time and the hotel gave many gifts for us.It’s amazing to visit BTS in the soop house. Breakfast is delicious and various. We also booked the BBQ dinner and enjoyed it. It’s my best memory in this Korea trip. I love Phoenix Pyeongchang Hotel sosososo much! Highly recommend.
