Walking distance to mini golf; indoor swimming pool and a small restaurant on site. A place you can feel at home.

Reviewed Jan 6, 2026Location was great for the local shops and the beaches for the dogs. Cleaniness was a great thing for us because I have bone marrow cancer and they did not fail; kudos to the lady in the silver BMW who ccleaned the house.
The bed on the upper floor was very hard. We asked about early check-in right from the start and arrived 3 or more hours early but still didn't get the keys til exactly the check-in time, unusual but the property was spotlessly clean, so...

I was surprised to have a nightly dog fee applied. I didn’t notice this when reading the location’s description. Also the beach access was not convenient.

the curtains were off their hook, the tv was impossible to figure out, and no manual to operate. after hours of hit and miss, i needed help, but then we were checking out.

Reviewed Sep 30, 2025It was very well maintained, the cabin itself was fabulous, spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Staff was VERY helpful and responsive to any questions or requests. Had everything we needed. The location was very close to anything we else we may have wanted. A good home base to explore some of the surrounding areas.
No complaints about the property at all. It would be wonderful if they added a small playground for families but by no means is that a dealbreaker. We will be back for sure.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2025We loved the location, the space in each cabin, how quiet everything was, and all the amenities in the area. Feels like you’re in a large home and can accommodate families.
We have stayed in other units that were way more stocked up on cleaning supplies and activities catered to families with young kids. I purposefully didn’t bring our washing detergents for the washing machine as well as kitchen cleaning supplies for dishwasher/sink/counter tops but all that was there was dish soap and not even a sponge. Perhaps a note stating we should provide those items would be good

It was just a short drive to restaurants, shopping and beaches. Office staff were a pleasure to deal with. Priced a little on the high side but worth it.

The heating in the floor by the bathroom was running--I had to flip the breaker to shut it off (all thermostats were off, but heat was still running in the floor0.

It was close to the beach and Provincial Park yet far enough away to feel very private. Area was flat and safe for grandchildren and their biking. Patio/deck was generous in size and suitable for dining or play. Would definitely book Oceanside again!

There was not enough lighting in the cottage for reading. The cottage was darker to begin with being surrounded with trees. The coffee maker was unacceptable resulting in us having to buy coffee out on a daily basis.

Great location right close to Rathtrevor park for a little nature walk. Also we really enjoyed using the indoor pool and hot tub. All in all an exceptional stay at a great spot.
