​This is not our first time staying at this hotel. ​Absolutely all of the staff are friendly, polite, and helpful. I can't even single anyone out because everyone was so kind to us - starting from our HK, the F&B staff, and the Front Office team, all the way to the GM. ​The effort everyone puts into making your stay enjoyable cannot go unnoticed. What really won my heart was seeing upper management right there on the floor, working alongside and helping other employees. ​While the food variety isn't massive, everything is delicious. There are no unnecessary dishes added just to make the buffet look larger. The meal quality and service at the à la carte restaurant were brilliant. Having worked for many years in customer service, I believe service should be seamless and never intrusive. That is exactly how it was here—you wouldn't even notice your drinks being refilled or meals being served; everything just magically appeared. ​Special thanks to Esraa (kids animator) for all the great activities. My daughter didn't want to leave. ​Thank you to the Il Mercato Hotel team for a wonderful stay. Wishing you continued success and great guests!

A couple of small suggestions: First, pre-arrival communication could be improved, as the email addresses listed didn't seem to work when I tried reaching out before our trip. Second, the hotel should strictly restrict smoking during kids' animation activities, as some children might be asthmatic or allergic and shouldn't have to inhale second-hand smoke.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura con grandi aspettative, trattandosi di un hotel dichiarato a 5 stelle, ma la realtà si è rivelata ben diversa dai servizi promessi. Siamo persone che tendono ad adattarsi facilmente e a non lamentarsi per le piccole cose, ma la quantità di disservizi vissuti durante la vacanza richiede una segnalazione chiara. ​I problemi sono iniziati subito con la camera: nonostante avessi espressamente richiesto una stanza per non fumatori, ce ne è stata data una per fumatori ed estremamente sporca. Alla prima lamentela, la reception si è limitata ad assicurarmi una pulizia a fondo per eliminare il problema, ma l'intervento è stato del tutto superficiale. L'odore acre di fumo era talmente impregnato nei tessuti da finire per appuzzare anche i nostri vestiti, e solo dopo una seconda e più decisa protesta ci hanno finalmente trasferiti in una stanza non fumatori, molto più pulita e idonea. ​La disorganizzazione è proseguita con il trattamento All Inclusive. Non essendoci stati consegnati i braccialetti all'arrivo, il personale ci fermava continuamente a ogni passaggio per verificare la nostra posizione, costringendomi all'ennesimo chiarimento in reception. La gestione degli asciugamani è stata poi un incubo: per ben quattro volte consecutive il personale di sala li ha ritirati senza lasciarne di puliti, lasciandomi al momento della doccia con due bambini piccoli e nessun modo per asciugarli. Per non parlare dei teli piscina, introvabili se non andando al punto di raccolta all'alba, cosa assurda per chi si trova in vacanza e vorrebbe solo rilassarsi. ​Infine, anche sulla ristorazione siamo rimasti fortemente delusi. Non è una questione di fare gli italiani viziati o di pretendere la cucina di casa, ma abbiamo fatto davvero fatica a trovare piatti edibili per la totale assenza di alternative valide e per la qualità davvero scarsa dell'offerta.

There is nothing good about this hotel.

The staff didn’t give my girlfriend her change. When I went to ask about it, they immediately took out the money and gave it to me. If you don’t notice it yourself, they simply won’t give you your change. The internet connection is terrible. There is no service around the pool. At other hotels, waiters regularly walk around the pool asking guests if they need anything, but here no one pays any attention. Even though the hotel is advertised as all-inclusive, if you ask for a glass of whisky to be delivered to your room, they charge you extra, even in the middle of the day. After midnight (12:00 AM), they even charge for soda, despite the all-inclusive package. Almost every time we went to the pool, they said there were no clean towels available. Overall, this is definitely not a hotel I would recommend. I would never choose to stay here again. The whisky tasted terrible.

L’hôtel de l’extérieur est très beau et il est bien situé . Vous avez un McDo et des commerces à proximité.

Les salles de bains sont vraiment pas modernes et l’état de la baignoire laisse vraiment à désirer. Il est urgent de les rafraîchir

بصراحة كانت تجربة سيئة جدًا ومخيبة للآمال. الخدمة كانت وحشة جدًا، والأكل كان سيئ للغاية وسببلي وجع شديد في بطني، والحمد لله إني كنت واخد معايا أدوية في الشنطة. والأسوأ من كده إن كان فيه كذا حالة في الفندق عندهم نفس المشكلة، وده شيء مقلق جدًا. للأسف تجربة مش هتتكرر، ومش أنصح أي حد بالإقامة في الفندق ده

The kids aqua park was really amazing we all have fun there, and the pools were quite and relaxing

The room cleanliness was horrible even when i asked for room cleaning they only clean the floor, the bathroom was not cleaned carefully and insects all over the bathtub and the bath is wet all the day with no towel on the floor till my 4 y kid slip down , i will upload photos and the bed was never done , i entered the room and was chocked the toilet was not cleaned after the guest before us, no bath towels no tissues in the room no soap or shampoo even no chairs in the balcony, every thing we have to ask for it, There is no food variety, the menu is the same everyday, even lunch is the same like dinner, There is no rug in the room to stand over and get dressed i think we have paid over 22 k for the aqua park only, the worst value for money actually, it is the worst time i went to sharm , even the hotel doesn't care about our review and care to make us happy the only listen to our complains and said ok we will tell the admin

Det er flere elementer ved hotellet som kan trekkes fram; 1. valg av møbler, farger og kvalitet. 2. balansert program og tilbud. Underholding for barn og voksene i tillegg til mat og drikke som er tilpasset 2. ledelse som virkelig er organisert og tar hånd om alt. Kan nevne spesielt en person Mahmod Kamal (Resepsjonssjef)! Løste opp ett problem som virkelig lettet vårt oppholdt 🤝

Ikke noe som kan nevnes her og ville absolutt ha anbefalt stedet og valgt det Holtet neste gang

فندق جميل ليس بالبناء الحديث ولكن يفي بالمتطلبات نضيف جدا استقبال روعه خدمه ممتازه هناك عدة برك سباحه ولاكن تحيزت للبركه على السطح يتم اغلاقها في العاشره ليلا وهذه ميزه وهناك بركه اخره في السقف يدخلها ما فوق الثامنه عشر للناس التي تريد الهدوء وهذه ميزه اخره وهناك عدة برك اخره ومنها البارك الذي اعجب اولادي بشده اما بالنسبه للمطعم فهو يناسب الجميع لكن ليس بامتياز ان شخصيا انبسطت اكثير حتى الموقع ممتاز في الهضبه قريب من جميع النواحي خليج نعمه السوق القديم من الكافيهات المشهوره يبعد عن الشاطىء ولاكن هناك شاطىء خاص مع مواصلات ذهابا وايابا مت شأت فندق لا يعيبه شيء

Fajny hotel. Miła obsługa, fajny park wodny, czysto wszędzie. Obsługa stara się dogodzić każdemu gościowi i czułam się naprawdę dobrze oraz otrzymaliśmy sporo gratisów których nie powinniśmy mieć.

Jak każdy hotel ten też miał swoje minusy ale wszystkie moje prośby oraz problemy były rozwiązywane w ciągu godziny

I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel has a beautiful lobby with stylish décor and a welcoming atmosphere. I especially liked the variety of bars available around the property. The pools were clean, well-maintained, and offered several options, including indoor and outdoor pools as well as a rooftop pool and the aqua park, which was the highlight of my stay and the main reason I chose this hotel.

The main area that needs improvement is the food. The variety was limited and the quality could be better compared to other hotels in the same category. In addition, amenities such as slippers and bathrobes are not provided automatically and require a request through reception. The hotel also does not provide dental kits, so guests should bring their own toiletries.

The food was good, the breakfast omelettes were great. All of the staff weather at the pool or elsewhere were very helpful and considerate. The property is highly family-oriented, and there was never a dull moment. There are plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained, from the youngest kids to the adults. The facilities, pools, and daily schedules are perfectly tailored for families looking to stay active and have fun together. I did run into one major hiccup during our stay. The animation manager was quite rude during an interaction, which was incredibly disappointing given the family-friendly focus of the resort. However, the way management handled the situation completely turned our vacation around. I brought the issue to the Front Desk Manager, who was absolutely exceptional. He listened to my concerns, handled the situation with total professionalism, and personally went above and beyond to ensure the rest of the stay was pleasant and comfortable. The stellar leadership and quick intervention of the front desk manager saved my trip.

1. While the pools are perfectly fine, don't expect a huge pool where you can actually swim lengths. 2. There wasn't an electrical input with earth or a converter from (3-pin to 2-pin) available, so I had to buy one from a near store

For various reasons I have spent 6 weeks this year in Sharm, I have spent 5 weeks at Il mercato. As a woman travelling alone I have felt very safe. The staff have been very friendly and helpful almost looking out for me. If I ever have to come back I will be staying here. Many thanks to all of the staff for there kindness.

Ormai il Mercato è la nostra seconda casa, andiamo spesso durante l’anno e come dice Kamal che ringraziamo sempre infinitamente , QUESTO HOTEL E’ IL VOSTRO HOTEL !! E queste sono le parole che rendono felice un ospite! Poi lasciare la stanza al pomeriggio, prendere un caffè in più! Restare ancora a rilassarsi nel lettino Queste cose non sono da tutti! أقمت ليلتين في فندق ميركاتو شرم الشيخ وكانت تجربة رائعة تستحق التكرار بكل تأكيد. أود أن أتقدم بالشكر الخاص للأستاذ محمود في قسم الاستقبال، فهو شخص محترم للغاية، متعاون، خدوم، ويحرص على مساعدة النزلاء بكل احترافية وابتسامة دائمة، وكان له دور كبير في جعل الإقامة أكثر راحة. كما أتوجه بالشكر للأستاذ إسلام من فريق المطعم على حسن التعامل والاهتمام بالنزلاء وتقديم خدمة مميزة طوال فترة الإقامة. بشكل عام، جميع العاملين في الفندق كانوا ودودين ومتعاونين ويحرصون على تقديم أفضل خدمة ممكنة، مما خلق أجواء مريحة وممتعة طوال الإقامة. فندق جميل، طاقم عمل متميز، وتجربة رائعة أنصح بها، وبالتأكيد سأكرر الزيارة مرة أخرى.

Good location for our needs. The main reception area, dining area and pool areas are all very well maintained. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Food was good (especially the A’La Carte meal included in the booking).

Rooms and particularly the bathrooms are a bit tired and in need of an update. The bathroom did smell a bit of stagnant water. The extended checkout was quite extensive but necessary for us as we had a very late flight.

Bathroom very old and the bath thub looks Dirty with yellow stains. Water of Shower so Cold. Activities is just for us to buy and don't let us enjoy the activities we actually pay for . 45 minutes for shopping and 10 minutes for activities

Though it's not far from old town, you need to take free shuttle bus to Terrazzina beach then you can walk to the old town. The other beach is rocky/ reefs, not for kids. Overall good hotel.

Entertainment was not good enough. The area isn't busy. Not far from old town, but you'd need shuttle bus or taxi to get there.

Самый большой плюс этого отеля, это персонал, он очень отзывчивый, всегда готов помочь доброжелательный. 2 хороших пляжа, один бесплатный, второй платный, неплохой но маленький аквапарк, ребёнку понравился. Хороший спортзал, можно позаниматься. На этом пожалуй все.

Еда: персонал конечно старался, но было сложно найти что то, что можно нормально кушать, все либо пересоленно, либо пресно, либо переваренно, возможно это потому что Рамадан и повара не пробуют, что готовят, но еда была плохая, почти вся кроме пироженных, кондитер там впорядке! Под конец отпуска отравился вместе с другом, он пил алкоголь, я нет, поэтому дело не в нем. Предпоследний день был с температурой 37,8 из за отравления, сильно тошнило и было плохо. Номера очень уставшие и старые, душ не работал нормально, струя еле шла, сам туалет был ушатанный Можно конечно оправдать ценой нооо, на 5 звезд здесь только персонал, все остальное очень слабое. 5-ка здесь возможно была лет 10 назад. Когда отель был не таким ушатанным. Уехали на последние 3 дня в пик альбатрос аквапарк. Небо и земля. Как из потрепанной гранты пересел в мерседес S класса. Но и цены, в il mercato мне обошёлся в сутки 120$, а Albatros 180$. Решать вам, но на контрасте каждый доллар в альбатросе стоит того, в il mercato - нет.

Some of the staff were amazing, the night porter and the barman in particular, but most of the staff just didn't care one way or the next, they would spend most of their time watching videos on their phones rather than come over to you for service.

Hotel advertised Aircon, but did not turn it on as there were not enough people staying at the hotel to make it viable. The room was super hot and stuffy at night, the only alternative to that was to sleep with the sliding door open for the night, but this was super not safe and also let the mosquitoes in and you ended up waking up with loads of bite marks in the morning. When complaining to management they were non supportive saying it was just the way. Breakfast two mornings had lukewarm coffee which was undrinkable. They had a good fruit selection but I regularly saw flies walking all over it. Internal decor is very grandiose but dated and certainly showing signs of significant wear.

This hotel claims to be a 5-star property, but in reality it is barely 1 star. The hotel is extremely old and outdated. It feels like no renovation has been done since the 1990s. The furniture, rooms and common areas are shabby, worn out and unpleasant. The management really needs to keep up with modern standards — this place is completely stuck in the past. The food is very poor and repetitive, with almost no choice. The pancakes were honestly scary to eat, and the pastries were completely tasteless and awful. In the 21st century, there is no proper coffee machine. Instead, there is a cheap container with a tap — this is shocking for a hotel that calls itself 5★. The staff’s appearance was also disappointing: dirty, worn and untidy uniforms, which gives a very bad impression. Our bathroom was in terrible condition: • visible mold/fungus • water did not drain properly The sunbeds are old, dirty and unpleasant. Absolutely do not recommend. Please do not waste your money on this hotel.

Отель не соответствует заявленым 5 звёздам. Еда на 3, Отель требует ремонта. В любой пятёрке, есть кофе с автамата, тапочки, зубные щетки. Тут ничего нет,кроме.... В ванной день и ночь гудит вентиляция(её не отключить) неприятный запах идёт с туалета. Стены в отеле потресканные. Мы в Египте, каждый второй месяц, есть с чем сравнивать. Долго смотрели на этот отель,т.к визуально территория красивая, много ожидающая. Цена по сравнению с другими 5*отелями Египта при первой линии которые...Il mercato вышел дороже в два раза. Не соответствует цена-качество !

شكل الاوتيل فقط

كان العشاء والفطور جيدين، لكن الغداء لم يكن جيداً أبداً. للأسف، لا توجد فعاليات مسائية في الفندق، مما يجعل الإقامة مملة بعض الشيء. كما أن عدم وجود مرافق للترفيه يجبر النزيل على الخروج للبحث عن وسائل تسلية خارج الفندق.

Люб'язний персонал на рецепції, заселили в хорошій локації біля рецепції та ресторану, гарне лоббі та благоустрій.

Трохи черги в ресторані, побитий посуд, іноді важко було знайти вільне місце. По прибиранню в номері були нюанси, не якісне прибирання, іноді не міняли рушники, та не давали туалетний папір. В лоббі барі неприємні бармени, могли ігнорувати довгий час. Трансфер до пляжу хотілося б щоб частіше автобус ходив.

Lo staff gentile disponibile spettacolare l’accoglienza di Mustafa alla reception è molto piacevole, la struttura è bella anche se andrebbe rinnovata Ci tornerò sicuramente sperando che venga migliorato il discorso cibo e bevande.

Il gusto del cibo era buono ma la scelta era molto limitata. Purtroppo terribili le bevande che vengono proposte succhi, caffè ecc tutti in polvere quindi senza gusto.
