We had the room on the ground floor at the front which could be noisy but fine when the window was closed. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It was a 10 minute walk into town for dinner. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Sian is an excellent host. Highly recommend.

We were superbly looked after by our host who demonstrated many thoughtful touches to help us, bedraggled cyclists after a long day in the hot sun. Also the breakfast room was beautiful and the breakfast itself delicious. A perfect guest house.

Everything was spot on! From a swift check in, local information - I went to The Three Pigeons ' for a drink - highly recommend. Sian was so helpful. Breakfast was freshly cooked and brilliant. The room - delightful and the bed was extremely comfortable - I slept like a log.

This is an exceptional B&B and Sian is such a fantastic host. The room was stylish and super-clean, the breakfast was absolutely delicious, and Sian went out of her way to accommodate our timings and make sure we had everything we needed. Can't recommend enough!

Just a walking distance to the train station and the city centre. Sian is also an exceptional host who went extra mile to provide my son with his special request of crumpets for breakfast. That's an absolute nice touch to our stay. She also offers full English breakfast which believe me, you'll last for the day! 😄 The guesthouse is also remarkably clean. We can tell how the host Sian takes extra good care of the property.

The host of the property was very kind and let me check in early for a wedding i had in the afternoon in the next town, the breakfast was amazing full English and perfect remedy after the night before before my journey home, there was also yogurts, fruit and cereal available. The room was spotless and also there was some homemade flapjack left in the room which i had when i arrived back in the room with a coffee The shower was very nice and again spotless, i really enjoyed my stay despite not spending much time at the property and if i ever need to stay in Banbury again i will not hesitate to return and would recommend it to anyone

A lovely little b'n'b, the owner is very kind and helpful. The room was very clean and had everything that was needed for my stay.

It was a lovely place to stay and probably one of the very best nights sleep I have had ! The room was lovely and beds were comfortable, the shower was good and it was very quiet in there. At breakfast, the lady was happy to listen to my food allergy information and come up with a safe cooked breakfast that I could eat ... now this part is worth its weight in gold !! Would definitely recommend this place and the parking is free too.

The room was just what I needed. Sian was very welcome on arrival and nothing was too much trouble. The bed was very comfortable, and the room temperature was perfect. Breakfast was amazing, cereals and full English available, with plenty of toast and coffee.

The location of Avonlea a few minutes from Banbury town centre and it's many eateries is a big plus. Having an off road car park is a big bonus and when parking gets a bit tight ,our host Sian becomes a parking attendant. Sian herself could not be faulted for her professionalism and friendliness, our room was excellent as was breakfast the next day. I would have no hesitation in recommending Avonlea when visiting Banbury.

Our room was clean, comfortable and we had a very good breakfast. The owner Sian was helpful with her local knowledge of where to eat out, The Guest house is situated in a quiet area but a short walk to the town centre which is perfect. When in the area we would definitely use again.

The room wasn't very big for a double, limited room at table for working, but still manageable. Plenty of space to work in the breakfast room if required.

The breakfast was delicious, and the service so friendly. I loved the homemade flapjack on arrival too.

Lovely welcoming friendly guest house with a fantastic breakfast. Close to all the restaurants and shops in Banbury. Would definitely stay again if revisiting Banbury. Banbury is a really lovely town with lots of interesting old pubs.
