Cabot Romantic- Adults Only

The location was perfect - in previous visits to Majorca (and especially this area of Port Pollenca and the old town) we have always rented villas but now this time it was just for the two of us as we wanted some late summer sun etc and the choice here was perfect and the hotel was easy walking to the main area of the port but quieter as well, which meant car parking on the main strip street outside the hotel was mostly never difficult at all. The hotel is literally one road width away from a great and proper sandy beach with plenty of space with a warm and safe / gently shelving beach into the water. Sun rise was amazing and from the point it came up as a full stop on the horizon The hotel staff were excellent and the breakfasts were very good and varied for all tastes as was the evening meal restaurant. The room has a kettle and a fridge The room was quite basic but nothing we had not expected and the beds were very comfortable with the room cleaned every day with a working air con system which helped as the temp last week did get to @ 35 degrees every day. Unless you are at the front, the views from the side rooms are less spectacular but as you face the front of the hotel we were on the right hand side floor two and we had a good view of the town and mountains but I would guess the other side would be less attractive when having a brew on the room balcony after coming up from the beach Also the sea front provided an excellent running track along the sea front for all levels and distances

Only a few things to point out: and these are minor and don't detract from the score at all ON the website there is mention that each room has a safe but this is a key operated on and for this you have to pay 20 euros with a 3 euro deposit that you get back - did not mind paying but it would be nice if we had been made aware for good transparency as they are essential for most travellers for peace of mind. Also quite a number of holiday makers were quite obviously elderly and the lift can only accommodate 1 person at a time for risk of being over weight But the stairs are good exercise but on the point of exercise a lot of travellers come to majorca for cycling and this would cramp the room if you had to store your bike - if they had a bone fide lockable storage area for bikes then this would be ideal hotel to stay

The location was absolutely perfect. Breakfast was very good. Cooked breakfast could have been a bit hotter. Room was comfortable and cleaners were in very day, whatever time we left to go to beach !

Room a little noisy at times with our neighbours moving about, running showers and door shutting. We didn’t like our view over a disgusting disused swimming pool!

Die Zimmer waren eher nüchtern. Das Frühstück hatte eine breite Auswahl, aber ich hätte mir weniger Auswahl, dafür eine mehr Qualität gewünscht wie z.B. Freshly squeezed orange juice oder Kiwi 🥝 oder Papaya statt Melone

I visited here for 6 days during half term with my Mum and it was absolutely perfect. For a reasonable price: the location was exceptional, breakfast was superb, rooms comfortable and staff very pleasant. We also tried the restaurant at the front of the hotel which was great too and got a discount as we were staying there. It was less than a 1km walk into the central port, with restaurants and shops along the way. It was our first time in Port de Pollenca and we couldn’t believe how stunning, safe and peaceful it was. We would definitely return! We were easily able to get the bus to Pollenca town a day and a day on the ferry to Formentor beach - would recommend!

Nothing - when we arrived the air con wasn’t working but luckily it wasn’t too hot and it got fixed promptly!

Perfect position on the sea front with easy access to restaurants, and we had a sea view balcony.

Amazing location, very close to the beach yet not in the busiest city center. So it was close to all restaurants but quiet at night. Spar just around the corner. Very nice personnel, everyone was very kind. Breakfast was tasty, same every day but for cyclists there was everything you need. Bikes were allowed in our rooms / balcony, which is nice. Everything was nice and clean everyday, beds were ok comfy.

Shower could be bigger, I barely fit in. But I am quite a tall guy. More vegetable at the breakfast would be nice but otherwise really nice place.

Das Hotel hatte sehr dünne Wände. Wenn der Nachbar duscht, hustet...man hört alles als wäre es im selben Raum. Es ist ein Hotel direkt am Stand, aber es gibt keine Möglichkeit Badewasser zu trocknen. Selbst um Bad konnte man die Handtücher kaum aufhängen - nur zwei winzige Haken.

On arrival we were warmly welcomed at reception, given our wrist bands which also incorporated our room keys (genius idea). We were told where the sister hotels were so we could use their pools, which we did at the one just along the road. The room was adequate for our needs with a fantastic air conditioning system. It was a side room but if we looked towards the front we could see the wonderful beach and sea. And behind were the mountains. The hotel next door was not being used and they had a swimming pool which was murky and unkempt. The shower was great, water pressure amazing and the shower gel smelled beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well every night. I was expecting a continental breakfast so it was a nice surprise when we went down the first morning to find absolutely everything we could possibly need. The staff in the restaurant were amazing, slick and efficient and nothing was too much trouble. Especially Christian. What a lovely lad! He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. We tried to give him a tip as we were leaving which he flatly refused. Outside and just across a quiet seafront road is the beach and wonderfully warm sea. I couldn't keep out of it. The sand was warm underfoot and raked by a tractor every morning. Just a few steps away was a lovely beach bar which we ate at 3 times in our 8 night stay. We were sad to leave and would definitely go back.

I would have liked a nice cuppa on arrival but although there was a kettle the only 2 teabags were green which neither of us drink. The next morning I walked to the spar shop and got supplies. Cleaners came in every day. The beds were made and towels changed. But I don't think the floor was swept or mopped as the sand built up underfoot. It is awkward trying to get dressed and put socks on sandy feet. The shower was blocked and flooded on first use but told reception who got maintenance straight up and we had no more problems.

Entire hotel was clean and tidy. Staff were fastidiously working all day keeping the entire place clean and up to standard. The bar staff and restaurant staff were super friendly and helpful.

Rooms are really quite small. Air con didn’t work in our room, and the room got hot during the day for the night. We had it set to 17 they suggested turning up to 21. This didn’t help. They said to raise the issue again and we could move rooms but honestly we’d unpacked and didn’t fancy the hassle. Pollença is cold at night so the balcony door being open cooled us down. Breakfast buffet - hit and miss. Some nice pastries and some nice cooked items like speck and fried eggs but the coffee was revolting and fruit juice was cordial. For some reason 2 days in a row there were carrots in the cooked section? No coffee in the rooms - just green tea. Bar was nice, good coffee, friendly staff.

Ontbijt prima maar ik zou iets meer onderzoek doen naar wat mensen echt willen zien. Personeel super aardig doen alles voor je. Locatie aan t strand is zoo fijn. Locatie prima wat uit de drukte heerlijk.

Ja wij blijven voor de locatie terugkomen maar de badkamer is echt te krap.

Staff were brilliant, location is fantastic. We initially were placed in the room on the first floor and asked to be moved the next day due to some issues in the room, which was done with the smile and kind attitude. I would recommend you ensure that you book a room either at the front or top floor of your can, first floor is not so good. No view and pretty noisy.

We initially got the room on the first floor, which was in need of love and had thin walls so pretty loud especially in the morning a when people start moving around. We were kindly moved to the third floor after first night and that was significantly better including the lovely view of the mountains.

What we appreciated about this hotel was its convenient location — it’s very close to the beach, which made it easy to go for a swim or walk by the sea at any time. Another positive aspect was that parking was included in the stay, and the parking area was located right behind the hotel, which was practical and saved us time. Unfortunately, despite these few positives, the overall experience was disappointing due to several issues with service and facilities.

We were given a discount coupon for our first meal at the hotel restaurant. However, when the bill came, it included items we didn’t order — likely done on purpose to hide the discount. My partner noticed, informed the waiter, and the bill was corrected. From day one, we asked for an iron. They said none were available until someone returned one. When they finally gave us one, it didn’t work — clearly something they already knew. For two days, we had no working iron. On day three, they gave us one that tripped the power whenever it heated up. One day, the water went out, and my partner had to go shower at another hotel (part of the same chain), 10 minutes away. Overall, we rate this hotel 1/10.

Quite pricey, definitely paying for location so it’s worth it. Hard to find a park for a car if you have one.

The lampshades were dirty and the walls could have done with fresh paint as there were marks on the walls. The doors were very loud when they closed and you could hear the guests in the adjoining rooms very clearly.

The location was quiet and there was enough parking space nearby. The view from our room was nice

Die Lage ist perfekt, man geht ca. 50m und dann ist man am Strand, rundherum tolle Lokale (Burger, Pizza, Paella usw.), auch befindet sich ein Spar in der Nähe, die Zimmer sind angenehm groß und ein guter Balkon mit 2 Sesseln und einem Tisch und viel Platz, das Frühstück ist mega!!!! Am Morgen sitzt man entweder indoor oder natürlich viel besser auf der hoteleigenen Terrasse mit Meerblick-ein Traum!!! Parkplatz ist keiner vorhanden, aber es gibt rund um das Hotel und sogar auf der Strandstraße gratis Parkplätze

Das Personal war sehr nett, die Lage am Strand ist toll und wir konnten dort einen schönen Urlaub haben.

Die Zimmer sahen auf den Bildern schöner aus als sie es in Wirklichkeit waren. Alte, teils versiffte Einrichtung, ekelhafte Armaturen im Badezimmer und eine winzige Duschkabine. Die Handtücher und der Schrank hatten auch einen komischen, miefigen Geruch. Das Frühstück war OK es gab viel Auswahl aber es wirkte alles relativ "billig". Hotel sieht von außen schöner aus als von innen.
