The shared unit is very clean

Clean, comfortable, good location, friendly staff and plenty parking spots.

The one bedroom cabins were neat and tidy and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the heater was a great help!

The bathrooms are on the smaller side and it was difficult to access the bathroom sink for brushing teeth etc but not a big issue!

I really appreciated that the staff facilitated my late check in.

There is a strong smell of some sort of cleaning agent that wasn't really to my taste.

A bunk room at Pinewoods was perfect. Great value, safe, easy well equipped kitchen facility, lovely staff. Would definitely be happy to recommend or use again.

The house (3 bedroom) is big but the floor is screeching everytime one walks by. Carpet is worn out and bumpy. Kitchen is tidy but very old. Lining on the kitchen cupboard is peeling.

Friendly, helpfull staff.. our room lights went out and they immediately gave us an upgrade

The kitchen and the common area was spacious. I could cook and save some money because eating out was expensive. Also its location is quite good. Easy 10 mins walk to the city centre.

L'emplacement n'est pas loin du centre c'est pratique. Chambre pouvant accueillir 5pers cest rare

Le meuble qui contient la vaisselle laisse à désirer... En période d'hiver, avoir des couvertures plus chaudes sera appréciable. Nous étions au logement P2 et le bus qui ramasse toutes les personnes tôt le matin stationne devant le logement de long moment avec le moteur qui tourne...super désagréable.

Ubytování bylo hezké, mělo vše potřebné vybavení, cena velmi dobrá. Oceňuji možnost bezdotykového nabíjení telefonu, vzhledem k tomu, že jsme neměli ještě cestovní adaptér.

Nešlo nám zamknout pokoj, ale byli jsme jen jednu noc tak jsme to neřešili

We love our stay at Pinewood 😍 The location is strategic and close to the supermarket. They provide a shared kitchen that has a complete set of cooking utensils, and the fridge is labelled based on the rooms, which is really convenient.

The property was an easy walk to town

Unfortunately, our stay was quite disappointing. When we arrived, the first room we were given had an overwhelming sewage smell, so we had to move rooms. The staff were very accommodating and helped us change rooms quickly, which we appreciated. However, the complex itself has extremely thin walls. You could hear everything happening in the neighbouring rooms, including conversations, people watching videos on their phones, the shower running, and even the extractor fan. It felt like we had to whisper the entire time because there was so little privacy. The other guests were also very noisy, with partying, yelling, and screaming continuing until around 3:00 am, making it very difficult to get a good night’s sleep. To top it off, the TV in the bedroom didn’t work. While the staff were helpful, the poor soundproofing, noise from other guests, and maintenance issues meant we wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Customer service was disappointing. We asked about parking as we were travelling with three small kids, but were simply told it was first come, first served and to check for a space ourselves. The room was very small, and we waited several hours for a second set of towels due to dryer issues. The shared kitchen bins were overflowing, and the shared bathroom had a mouldy smell and didn’t feel very hygienic, especially as our room was next to the common kitchen.

Although it is a room with shared bathroom, it is in a self contained unit, bathroom, kitchen all included, nice place to stay. Walking distance to skyline and Kiwi Park.

Showers was very poor which was a struggle after a day out in the cold

Love the shower pressure, so relaxing. Bed is so comfy. 20 mins walk and we reach to town centre. Safe area to live in and shops round corner as well.

The wall cna celing has no sound proof, so can hear upstair flushing toilet at nite and showering. Other than that everything are great.

The facilities are great. I liked the location, a bit out of the city centre but an easy walk to everything.

The only thing I didn't like were the people staying there and the mess they left behind every day. I would also prefer a separate toilet for male/female.

Close to town. A decent shared cabin setup with 6 rooms total, but with a few areas that could be improved. ​The Good: Comfortable lounge/TV area. The kitchen is well-organized with assigned cabinets for each room. The shared bathroom is dated but perfectly functional.

​The Downsides: There is only one wash area in the kitchen, which requires some waiting. More importantly, the walls have no soundproofing at all. We could hear everything from the living room and neighboring rooms, and people were up talking until 1 AM on Saturday night. ​Suggestion: It would be great if management posted quiet hour reminders on the walls to help keep late-night noise under control.
