The shower was so uncomfortable, had to undress inside the shower, very uncomfortable for a woman on her period, had to run to the toilet around the corner, no privacy. Had fo dress inside the toilet.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026breakfast was good. the only bad things was a tour bus came in and we did not have easy access to the buffet becuase of an overload of people. it might be recommended to split hotel guests and day visitors coming for breakfast
that there was more than 50 people at breakfast with the hotel not being able to take on that capacity. therefore breakfast was not great. We were not able to get to the buffet easy

second day early morning there seem to have been a burst sewage pipe - the smell kept me up. reception seem to have not been aware of any work being done on the property that might have led to the smell.

The hotel did not have my room ready at check in time and told me to come back in an hour and asked me to pay even though I paid online already. The balcony in my room was very dirty. The rooms have very thin walls, you can hear everything from the passage and neighbouring rooms.

When I booked on BOOKING.COM I thought I was booking a room that had a private balcony, as it was shown in the pictures when I was making the booking. When I got to hotel, I was told that my suite did not come with a balcony, which was very disappointing as it was my anniversary and I told my wife I was getting a suite with a balcony. I think the pictures loaded for the room were very deceiving. I think clear instructions must be included to suggest that there are additional cost for a suite with a balcony and clearly given the options for the customer to chose what they want and to pay for it accordingly.

On arrival one of our bookings was missing from their system but confirmed on bookings.com so those few hours of not knowing where we’ll sleep was a nightmare as the hotel was already fully booked and they were trying to blame us. Although it took time, they managed to get us a room

A room without a view. This is just my preference and not related to the hotel at all. They were very friendly and helpful. Food was great at the restaurant. No complaints.

I know and can attest that i have booked for a room with balcony but boom when i got there i got something else and i have tried to explain to the front lady but she kept on trying to convience me other wise but i let them be, you can clearly see that they preffered someone over me and gave them my room, i so not happy at all. but there was nothing i can do becouse i was told that all the balcony rooms are all taken, i asked the lady that the time i booked there was still lots of them available, clearly they took my room and gave it to the guys who was also there from Durban.

We would have rather had an enclosed separate bathroom and not in the bedroom. The freshener sprayed in the toilet every half hour all night and very audible. The fragrance was not pleasant either.

I had used Booking.com to modify my date for a two-room reservation, but only one of the rooms was changed despite the fact that the app showed the correction. Despite the fact that the hotel was relatively full for a local art festival, they were able to sort out the problem for me with Booking.com.
The bathroom configuration in our room was a bit strange with the shower stall opening directly into the room. Good thing was traveling with my wife!

The staff were friendly, welcoming, and understanding throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was also very enjoyable, and having the parking area directly downstairs made everything easy and convenient.
The heater in my room was not working properly and ended up blowing cold air throughout the night, which made the room quite uncomfortable.

Dirty lavatory walls in the room. Uncomfortable pillows and weird smelling duvet. Noise coming from ventilators. I was not really a big fan of their breakfast, although there was quite a few nice options to choose from
