We stayed for a week in August with family. It was ok. I wouldn’t return, and am surprised with the amount of reviews mentioning Johnny. We didn’t know any of the entertainment staff, they seemed pleasant but there was loads of them so really not sure how one guy is featured so much in the majority of reviews? The good…, plenty of sun beds, breakfast, location, wine with meals, rooms quiet after entertainment finishes. Some of the rooms in our party were worse than others with flooring coming up and taped together. They had to be moved. Our beds were very hard and I needed a night cap to sleep. We were round the family pool, which isn’t big enough for all the people in it. Teens were bored with the entertainment- no slides, no balls. The water polo was very cramped and they wouldn’t join in despite having always done so at other hotels. The games were very dull.., guess the pages in a book, distance between two knots. Never known this sort of thing before. Evening meals were hit and miss. Plenty of chips, pizza, pasta. The Mexican night was lovely, however Chinese was not great. Food was very salty on occasion. However you are not going to starve and the puddings and starters are always great. The layout of the hotel is weird, and information given is poor. There is a pool at the back.., who can use this? Towels are at the lifeguard on a Sunday, don’t walk though the excellence part to get your towel! If this was a 3* I would have been fine with it. Just can’t see how it’s a 4*.
This hotel is fantastic. It’s in a great location and the staff are super friendly. We never had to wait for a sunbed and the food and drinks are excellent for an all-inclusive package. The different pools are a great way to mix things up and the rooms are spacious, modern and clean. The entertainment is top-notch throughout the day and evening. A huge shout-out to Jonny – he was incredibly kind, friendly and a great job. He made our holiday ten times better so thank you! We’ll definitely be back.
This is my honest review of Hovima Suites and the surrounding area of Costa Adeje. I personally rely heavily on reviews, so I'll try and give as much detail as I can about everything that matters to people. Me (25) and my dad (63) have just come back from a 7-night stay at the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and I can see why it is a 4* hotel and believe that it is fair. It is clear to see that the hotel has made a conscious effort to suit everybody, and it does. I like to get involved with activities as I get bored sitting by a pool all day, and there is an opportunity to do that, whereas my dad prefers to sit by the pool and sunbathe, and there is also the opportunity to do that. Pools - 4.5* I have pretty much no complaints about the pools at all. There are 3/4 different pools. All have excellent sunbed availability, and you can easily get one if you go down for the usual hotel rush very early in the morning or if you bring the towels down later. I don't know about the 3rd or 4th pools as I didn't go in them, but both the family pool and the adult pool were very warm, so there's no taking 10 minutes just to enter because of the cold temperature! All pools were an excellent size, and it is easy to go for a swim. Both the family and adult pool also have a bar where you can get access to drinks as well as hot and cold snacks, including ice cream. There was also a seating area and two pool tables by each bar. The first pool was an adult pool for people aged 16+ for those that want a more peaceful experience, and there is a family pool, which is where the main activities take place. There was also a smaller but decent-sized pool for children by the football court, and there was also a small pool for small children which, if I remember rightly, was by the family pool. There was an exclusive area, which you obviously have to pay for with your hotel package, but I did not look to see if there was a pool or not. The only small negative thing for me is that there was a little bit of music that was played in the morning and in the afternoon, and personally, I would have liked there to be more music played by both the adult and family pool throughout the day. Staff and nationality of residents - 5* All staff from catering, bar, reception, animation, and room service speak very good English and all other main languages, and are very helpful and friendly. Regarding people staying at the hotel, there was a nice mix of people from different countries, but it was a mainly English-speaking hotel and area, which I liked. Room - 5* The room was really nice. We stayed in a room for two people; however, three people could easily stay in the room as there are two beds in the bedroom and there was also a sofa bed. The room came with excellent storage space, the shower was very nice, and it was easy to get a temperature that was right, and the water pressure was soft. You also get fresh towels every day, and the room service was excellent. We had a nice spacious balcony with a nice seating area with a table and a nice view of the family pool. The beds were definitely comfortable enough for a hotel room. There is also a kettle in the room with two cups and two glasses (obviously dependent on how many people are staying in the room), along with a good-sized fridge. There was also a nice-sized TV that came with lots of English channels from BBC One to Channel 5 and BBC News (except for BBC Two, which obviously is not a problem). Food - 5* The food was delicious, with lots of different choices for people with different dietary requirements. Everything was there that you would expect to be there with traditional English food (except for hash browns), as well as cooked omelettes, fresh fruit, and pastries. Lunch and dinner were also really nice, with chips every day, freshly cooked meat and fish in front of you, fresh pizzas, and pasta cooked in front of you to your liking. They also had some specific themed nights. When we were there, there was a Spanish, Mexican, and Chinese night. There were also classic salad fillings, and the desserts were nice as well. There was always lots of choice, with different flavoured ice cream, cakes, and there was always a chocolate fountain. There were also different drink machines for all the soft drinks you could want, and there was a nice water machine where you could set it for how you wanted it. There was also a large bucket of ice, along with what looked like different wines and champagne every lunch and dinner time. There is also an Italian restaurant, which I believe you get a free voucher for when you book your stay, but we never used it. I couldn't possibly take off any points for it as it would be too harsh, but the only tiny thing was that the plates were sometimes cold, which sometimes made the food a little bit cold, and the other slight thing was that there were only condiments at lunchtime, and it would have been nice to have them at breakfast and dinner as well, but I realise this is me being extremely picky. Activities - 3.5* As explained earlier, this is one of the most important aspects for me as I like to join in due to getting bored with sitting by the pool. The activities are great fun and are competitive, which I like, and the animation team are great as well. The hotel splits it into three different types of activities. You've got kids' club, which does things like face painting and pirate activities along with the traditional hotel mini disco, which starts at 5:15 or 5:30 if I remember correctly. You've then got adult activities, which include blackjack, cocktail making, aqua aerobics, dance, yoga, and body stretching. You've then got activities that are for kids that are too old or simply don't want to do kids' club, as well as adults. These include water polo, water basketball, aqua aerobics, dance, football, table tennis, darts, and shuffleboard. As mentioned, these are competitive, which I like. However, us adults always made sure that those kids who joined in got an opportunity to have the ball through passing to them and giving them lots of opportunities to pass or shoot. Why only 3.5* I hear you say? The disappointment for me was that they didn't start until 12 apart from kids' club, which started at either 10 or half 10, and then didn't get going again until 3, which happens everywhere, and then ended at half 4. There is also a traditional hotel classic of a cocktail challenge, which happens at 1 and is a non-physical activity that involved guessing the number of something (pages in a book, ping pong balls in a jar, etc). Therefore, I feel this is quite a light animation programme, and I've been to hotels where there are more activities throughout the day. For more information, the 12pm section always involved either darts, shuffleboard, football, or table tennis. The 3pm section always involved either water polo or water basketball, and the 4pm section was always water aerobics or dance. Personally, I'd have liked there to be more activities, with it starting at 10 or 10:30am and finishing at 5pm. I feel they have the facilities to do this, as there is also a basketball court on the football pitch, and with the pool tables, there is a possibility to do killer pool, which everyone always enjoys. The other disappointment for me, and this was more of an observation rather than fact, was that it felt like the activities would always finish before schedule. However, that could be because I was enjoying taking part. Evening entertainment - 4* I always enjoyed the evening entertainment, and there was a good mix of entertainment as well. They always started with some sort of quiz around 8:45–9:30, which we didn't join in with as we were always having dinner around that time, so I can't comment on that. Then you had the second bit of entertainment, which started at around 9:45 and ended at 10:30. As I mentioned, there was a mix. When we were there, they had singers, dancers, acrobatic acts, and a white-themed party where the DJ was brilliant. The seating area was nice, with lots of seats and tables to fit everyone in, and there was a bar which offered lots of different drinks as well as cocktails, which you had to pay for. There was also a rooftop bar, which I believe was open throughout the day and was also open in the evening. This was for if you wanted more of a quiet evening, as there was sometimes a DJ or saxophonist up there. However, I believe there wasn't much entertainment up there as it wasn't designed for that. We only went up there for five minutes on the last day just to see what it was like, and the views from up there were stunning. The seating area also looked very comfortable, and you could tell it would be very relaxing and tranquil up there. The only disappointment for me was that the evening entertainment finished at 10:30, which I felt was quite early. I understand why they do that, but with the amount of rooms at the front of the hotel and the back of the hotel where you can't hear the entertainment, I feel there is a possibility to put families with young children in those areas, as well as people who might want to go to bed early. That said, it does give an opportunity to go and enjoy the nightlife that Costa Adeje has to offer, and I'll discuss that next. Costa Adeje and nightlife - 5* I personally really enjoyed staying in Costa Adeje, and I felt the place was really nice. It is roughly a 10-minute walk from the coast, and if you want to eat out, there are lots of restaurants offering a variety of different foods along the coast. The different beaches extended for a long way, and it's a very nice walk. We personally preferred the beach further on the right-hand side that was very sandy, whereas most of the other beaches had the lava sand. There are lots of activities to enjoy around Costa Adeje and the island. It's got all the water sports you could want, as well as boat trips, mini golf, and I also took part in activities such as quad biking up Mount Teide, which was a great experience, as well as paragliding and jet skiing, which were great fun. There were also other things to do and places to go, such as the water park and go-karting. I really enjoyed the nightlife that Costa Adeje had to offer. There were lots of bars and pubs on the coast. I particularly enjoyed Coxy's Irish Bar. I always went down there to watch the Premier League football, and they always had good entertainment until midnight. I also enjoyed the entertainment and singers at Musty's Burgers, which always had a great atmosphere. All the bars and pubs close at midnight except for the Red Lion, which carries on until 2am. There are very talented acts that perform on the strip, and make sure to check out Jack Bennett, who's incredibly talented and always gets the crowd singing and dancing. There's also a young singer called Nat (don't know her surname), but if you can see her, she is brilliant as well. There are a couple of nightclubs within walking distance of the hotel, which I believe are open until 6am. One had free entry, and the other was a €20 entrance fee, which I believe came with a free drink. The nearest nightclub, I believe, is mainly based on Latin music, whereas the one with free entry had lots of different rooms for different types of music. Finally, there was also different facilities that were quite hidden with a gym with all the equipment you need and air con as well as a kids play room and what looked like a small canteen. There was also a sports bar and a small splash park next to the football court. Would I go back? Possibly. As mentioned, I would want more activities if I were to go back there, but I wouldn't hesitate too much. The only other thing that might stop me is that I like to go and see different places, but my dad definitely said he would go back. Hopefully I've covered everything and have helped you decide whether this is the right hotel or not.
Really nice hotel. Nice staff especially Jonny, very clean and had a really good stay
Location great not far from the shops and the beach fantastic staff very friendly and helpful the food was amazing loads of choice something for everyone Johnny made our holiday with the entertainment around the pool and on a night would definitely come back
From the minute we arrived outside we were impressed. It was clean, inviting, modern and easily accessed. The book-in team were fab and gave us a much needed glass of prosecco to welcome us. We had booked a suite with pool view and balcony, and it delivered. We were on 4th floor of 5 and the suite was beautiful. It was spacious, bright, clean and modern. Everything we needed was on hand. All staff were friendly, looked smart and worked really hard continuously. The entertainment teams were fantastic!!! One stand out guy is Jonny! I have never experienced someone with so much energy on holiday before. The young ladies who worked with him were also amazing. The pool areas were clean and a great place to meet others and you had the choice of adult only or family pools. Both were great. There was refurb work going on but because it had been well thought through and planned, it had barely any impact on the day to day running of the hotel. Food choices were great and we never had a day where we struggled to find something nice to eat. Would highly recommend this place for a holiday for couples young and old and families.
It was a very Nice hotel with a lot of entertainment. Jonny his aquadance and the cocktail making were very fun. And at the white party he gave himself fully. He came everyday to ask how we were doing or what we did that day. He was very vriendly and intressted. The hotel was clean and had a lot of lovely workers. Sadly the construction in our building wasn’t mentioned but we changed rooms thanks to the lovely people at the reception, especially Iris. We also forgot a bag on our tui bus and the staff did everything to get them so fast as possible. Thank you for the beautiful holiday ☀️
Here’s a polished version that keeps your genuine, enthusiastic tone while making it flow better: We arrived on 15th August 2026, and from start to finish, our trip was completely seamless. The room was clean, spacious and perfect for our stay. The location was fantastic too — only a short distance from the beachfront, Siam Mall and Siam Park, with Playa de las Américas just a 10-minute drive away. The food was great, and there was always something available that suited me, even with how fussy I can be! The drinks were on tap and we never had any issues whenever we approached the bar. The staff were always friendly and happy to help. The pool areas were clean and well maintained, and thankfully there was never any dreaded sunbed war in the mornings! We particularly loved the adults-only pool and the adults-only section in the dining area, which added a really nice touch to the holiday. The entertainment was fantastic, with something different every night and plenty to suit everyone. The only downside was that seating was quite limited on most evenings, so it could sometimes be difficult to get a seat. However, my biggest shoutout from the entire holiday has to go to Jonny. What a guy! He was friendly, hilarious and an all-round fantastic entertainer. Every day, Jonny would go out of his way to come and speak to both of us and make sure we were okay. Jonny genuinely stands out from the crowd. Everything he did was with such compassion, enthusiasm and genuine care for the guests. He really made our holiday that little bit more special, and we honestly couldn’t praise him enough. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday and would absolutely recommend this hotel. We would happily return! ❤️
All the staff were so friendly, Jonny and Melinda from the entertainment team, who we spoke to the most, made me and my mum feel very welcomed. We would definitely recommended staying at this hotel.
Stayed here all inclusive with Jet 2 as a family of 3 with a 17 year old for 1 week mid August The hotel is great, ideal location close to beach and shops, bars etc the setting and areas are all ideal and very clean, we were situated on the ground floor family side this was ideal for us and very easy to access all the facilities. We only used family pool but my daughter did use the adult pool alot, we felt there was more atmosphere at the family pool. The hotel has lots going on with a good animation team ( special mention to Johnny who goes out of his way to meet everyone and make them feel welcome, I asked him to find my daughter a friend and within an hour she had made a lovely group of friends her age!) however I did feel that for such a busy hotel during the daytime there could be a lot more going on there was daily aqua gym and water polo but felt there could of been a few more pool side things thrown in, daytime quiz, water bingo etc. there are no lilos or balls allowed in the pools which didn’t really bother us but don’t really understand why no ball games when water polo was played daily with the staff. Personally I would have liked a little more music around the pool but that’s just my personal preference. There are many nationalities staying at the hotel so you i understand everyone’s tastes and needs must be catered for. There’s 2 pool bars, a sports bar, and a main bar where the night entertainment is. The shows of an evening were good and they had some really good acts disappointed we missed Tina and Elton John these acts cancelled last min. Felt the sports bar was wasted as it didn’t open till 6 but had 2 large screens so would have been ideal for sports games and football during day time. There is also a lovely roof top bar with a dj of an evening but drinks are not included if AI but we still used it as the views were lovely and it was so nice and chilled. More entertainment could also be offered here too. Food in the buffet was really nice a good variety, my daughter has a peanut allergy so sometimes struggled with the desserts. But she was fine with ice cream and fruit most foods are allergy labelled. We had one meal in the onsite Italian which was really nice. On our last day we had a late flight so needed to be out of our room by 12 but we were offered a room to shower and change in for free which I thought was great All in all a great holiday
La cercanía a la playa y a zonas de comercio
La habitación donde nos alojamos no enfriaba el aire acondicionado y tenía una cucaracha. La comida no era excepcional
We had a fantastic stay at Hovima Suites Costa Adeje and would definitely recommend it — especially if you’re looking for a great hotel that offers excellent value for money. The hotel was very clean throughout, and the staff were welcoming, friendly and always happy to help. The bar was a great place to relax, and there are two pool areas — one for adults and another for families, which is a really nice touch. The rooms were fantastic. There is a sleeping area and a separate sitting area with a sofa bed, as well as the balcony, with a table and chairs. There were a few small cosmetic things that could probably do with a little attention, but nothing that affected our stay. Overall, they were spacious, comfortable and very well presented. The food was delicious, with loads of choice at mealtimes, so there was always something tempting to eat. A nice bonus was that you could enjoy white, rosé or red wine with your meal, as well as beer — which certainly helped make dinner feel like part of the holiday! The hotel is around a 5–10 minute walk from the beach. Just be aware that it’s uphill on the way back, so depending on your fitness level (or how much you’ve enjoyed the food and wine!), it might take a little longer! There’s Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, which was useful, and the location also means you’re close to some great bars along the strip. The only slight disappointment was that the evening entertainment felt a little repetitive, but with plenty of bars nearby, there were lots of alternatives. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff, great food, lovely pools, fantastic rooms and a good location — all at a very reasonable price. We would definitely stay here again and would happily recommend Hovima Suites Costa Adeje.
Amazing stay at the Hovima Suites Costa Adeje. The hotel is simply first class and the experience is made so much more by the incredible animation team with Jonny at the helm! Thanks to everyone at the hotel for making our stay so memorable!
The hotel was absolutely amazing, and everything about our stay was fantastic! food was brilliant ,! Jonny truly made our whole experience. He was so lovely, friendly and interactive, and always made us feel welcome. He definitely made such a positive impression on us and has genuinely made us want to return again. We had an amazing experience and would highly recommend this hotel! ❤️
It was my first time in Tenerfe and I've loved every part of it. Definitely recommend for families since there is an adult only pool and a family pool. All the activities are great and all the Staff are welcoming even if you are new to the hotel or have been for a week they will always help you and make you fill welcome.
Service has been amazing so far, the staff are lovely. And the food tastes great.
The rooms were amazing, staff so kind and helpful, cleaners amazing and kept my stuff nice and tidy, the food was AMAZING and the hotel in general so nice
Very clean great staff lovely hotel although I think air conditioning could be a bit better. Food was nice and there is plenty of option in the buffet or outside the hotel entertainment is amazing great atmosphere
I had a lovely stay at HOVIMA Suites Costa Adeje and would definitely recommend it. From the moment we arrived, the staff were very welcoming and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. A special mention has to go to Jonny from the animation team. His activities were always fun and entertaining, and he genuinely made the effort to get to know guests. What I appreciated most was that he would always take the time to have a conversation with you, even outside of the activities. He really helped create such a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere around the hotel. The room was lovely — bright, aesthetic and very comfortable. The location was also a 10/10 for me, being no more than around 10 minutes from the main part of Costa Adeje and the beach, which made getting around really easy. The adults-only pool was another highlight. It was peaceful and relaxing when you wanted some downtime, but there was also plenty of entertainment, especially when Jonny was running his different activities. Overall, I had a really positive experience at HOVIMA Suites Costa Adeje. The welcoming staff, great location, lovely rooms and fun atmosphere made it a really enjoyable stay. I would happily return!
We booked this holiday for my partners 30th birthday as a way to celebrate with the hopes of friends joining and although that didn’t happen, we had a fantastic time and have created so many amazing memories. We had a room on the 5th floor and the room was very spacious, perfect layout for us, plenty of storage and the bed was very comfortable! The bathroom has a gorgeous rain shower and the general layout was perfect for what we needed! The staff are incredibly friendly, especially Jonny who is part of the animation team! Jonny made sure everyone felt welcome, made a point of introducing himself and his energy and enthusiasm was truly infectious for joining in with any activities throughout the day. He forms fantastic relationships with the guests! All staff were very approachable, they made us feel very welcome and made the stay even better than we imagined! They had a birthday surprise ready for my partner which was there when we arrived and they were very responsive to anything we asked for. The cleanliness of the hotel was great with plenty of bins and regular cleaning. The hotel is in the perfect location, not far from the beach, plenty of shops nearby and easy to get to other locations like Siam Park. The food was absolutely delicious with plenty of choices no matter what your preference is and is even great for picky eaters. We were all inclusive and as a picky eater myself, I never found myself struggling with something to eat at any time of day. The Italian restaurant did have a limited menu which made it more challenging for me but otherwise seemed lovely. We would highly recommend staying here, especially with the price we paid as it felt modern yet family friendly and was exactly what we wanted. Our only improvement we would suggest would be for there to be more toilets where pools are as there is 1 toilet per gender on each side where the pools are and when in wet swimming costumes etc. you feel quite rushed when people are waiting outside. We will definitely come back here again and have already been recommending this holiday to our friends and family!
A really lovely chilled hotel where no rush for a sunbeds as they're is so many to choose. We was in the family side but used the adults side too. The roof top champagne bar was a lovely touch for a nice night cap. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming, always helpful. Very clean and tidy. The all inclusive food was not always to our tastes but regardless...plenty to choose from so we never went hungry. The à la carte restaurant was phenomenal, a lovely end to our holiday. Our room balcony overlooked the family pool which can be noisy at times but with the balcony doors shut, it was fairly quiet. The view from our rooms front door over looked the mountains, very pretty. Just a short walk to the sea front was a perfect location for us. For the summer holidays I think this holiday has been value for money. I would definitely consider coming back again we loved it that much.
The hotel lovely clean and very helpful and friendly I’ve got mobility issues and the staff are fantastic even had reserved tables for mobility I’ve stayed in many hotels a round Tenerife and this is the only one that does it the entertainment seem very friendly especially Johnny who takes a time at the end of the night to come round and talk and interact with the guests. Will definitely recommend this hotel and definitely coming back again next year. Thank you for a beautiful stay.
The shows were brilliant. They all work hard during the day. Doing swimming exercises and things. And Johnny works very hard. Food good entertainment good and every staff work's hard.
Excellent stay overall. Food was great, and very friendly staff. Only real downside was the air-conditioning control in the room didn't really lower the temperature even when set to the lowest setting. Good entertainment on an evening and the animation team were excellent throughout our stay with Jonny leading the way. Plenty of sunbeds by the pool. The views from the sunset bar are great.
very good experience, amazing entertainment with friendly and encouraging staff, facilities lovely and special mention to jonny for being especially helpful
Lovely family holiday. Lovely room & great facilities. Food fabulous. Animation team very welcoming & helpful, made our stay very enjoyable. Jonny made a really special effort to talk to us & get to know us. Also Melinda. Different show every night & for a two week holiday that was really great.
We stayed as a family of 4 on half board plus basis. Rooms were clean and pool was warm enough for the kids to swim everyday. Location is fantastic. Food was fine - we often swapped dinner for lunch so we could eat out in the evening. Lots of variety and fresh food. We were there for the New Year’s Eve gala dinner - I would recommend getting an early slot. In other hotels we have stayed at, it didn’t matter what sitting you were as they refilled everything. This wasn’t the case here with my kids being disappointed that things others were eating had run out. When we had then finished dinner there was nowhere for us to sit in the bar area so we ended up going to our room and coming back down at 11.30. The high buildings mean in winter you are chasing the sun and people selfishly reserve sunbeds all around for when they want to move. It was really frustrating when as a family of 4 you end up perched on one lounger when people haven’t reserved loungers they’ve not sat on. The pool at the back was quieter so we went there but it is very deep for little ones. Overall we had an enjoyable stay but we will try somewhere else next time. Tip for New Year’s Eve - go to the top floor and watch all the fireworks from other hotels up there. It was only us and 2 other families up there.
Just returned from 7 night stay , family of 4 ( 12yr old and 18yr old ) . We had 2 rooms and for standard rooms they were huge and nicely decorated. The place was spotless and cleaned regularly. Only downfall was the aircon as it wasn't very powerful compared to other hotels I've stayed in . We used the family and quiet pool by the football court and there was always available sunbeds, and again was kept spotless. We went all-inclusive and I can honestly say the food was lovely,. Lots of variety and we also had a lovely meal in the Italian restaurant to. Again only downfall was the variety of drinks for the all-inclusive. There wasn't enough choice unless you paid and some nights the drinks seemed watered down and inconsistant. The staff and the entertainment at night were amazing, my children really enjoyed it . Overall I definitely rate this hotel and would stay here again.
Brilliant hotel. Great facilities with 4 pools and food excellent everyday. The entertainment was really good every night and especially Johnny who was brilliant and is a credit to the hotel along with all the staff who were always helpful. We will be returning and have really enjoyed our stay
A wonderful stay at this hotel. Highlights include hiring a convertible and exploring the interior of the island, the superb Cool Spa at the sister Hovima hotel, the adult only pool area during the day, Jonny in the entertainment team (who was so approachable, caring and so energetic, always), the live entertainment (especially the band on 10th August - Sonora - amazing!), and the Positano restaurant (what a hidden gem, with truly showpiece dishes such as the octopus carpaccio, and the wonderful and highly professional Manuel as host). The front desk staff were so helpful and kind every time we needed them, and the little touches such as the welcome drink we really appreciated. We also LOVE the hotel’s green credentials. We used the water refill stations every day, and opted to skip room cleaning for several days in order to save the environment and the hotel rewarded us for that. Well done. Highly recommended hotel in a very good location.
We have had such a great week at Hovima Suites Costa Adeje! Here with our two older teens in two suites. The entertainment team were amazing - especially Jonny! We loved the pool, live music and the commitment to sustainable holidays. Absolute highlights were Positano restaurant and the great vibe at Bubbles bar & stage every night.
Recently came home from 10 nights at Hovima and I honestly couldn’t fault it! This was the first holiday for me after an injury leaving me disabled and from the moment of booking in, the hotel were wonderfully supportive. They listened to my requests of hanging a room near to the elevator and lobby and they accommodated beautifully. The room was spacious and very clean, a great job was done every day and cleaners very polite and friendly. We were all inclusive and there was plenty of food choices I felt, with a different buffet theme each night. There was a nice variety of drinks and the water was through a filter so you can fill up with it as much as you need - I recommend taking a Stanley cup and you can fill it with ice at the bar or restaurant. The hotel is split into 2 sides, with a family side and adults only, myself and my friend stayed on the adults side for the pool and in the restaurant. The evening entertainment everyone comes together and they had some great shows on, was a shame when it was bed time! There is also an adults only sky bar with really lovely cocktails, they are chargeable though but I felt worth it for a lovely treat. The staff were so warm and friendly, always saying hello and asking how we are enjoying our stay. I would like to give a special mention though to Johnny from the animation team. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves and to get people involved without being pushy. You can see he is so passionate about making sure each guest has the best experience and he would even help to make sure I was ok during the day and was ok with a seat during the night. You’re born to do the job you do Johnny and I hope you realise what a special person you are! Thanks Hovima for the best holiday, we will be back!
Our stay in Hovima suites was amazing from the food and drinks to staff and the animation team it was excellent the animation team made the holiday with Johnny hosting many events during the day at the pool and at night at the bubble stage Johnny made our stay here very fun
We had a great holiday at Hovima suites. Lovely accommodation and food. We went half board but changed our evening meal to lunch so we could eat out in Adeje each night. Staff were lovely especially Jonny. He went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and make sure they were enjoying their holiday.
Wonderful hotel!! We were greeted with a glass of cava on arrival and were all given a baguette & fruit as we had a late flight and missed dinner. Hotel is absolutely spotless and the food is probably the best iv ever experienced being all inclusive! My 4 year old son loved it too. The Starbucks on site was amazing and so cheap. Staff were so helpful & friendly and the hotel is spotless!! My 4 year old loved the kids club and the animation team were amazing. Pools were lovely & warm and clean. My mum & I visited the spa for a massage and it was honestly the best massage of my life!! Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!
The location is amazing right by the the beach easy to get to. Atmosphere is very lively and very friendly Rooms are very clean and have a lot of space The value was decent but definitely worth it. Noise not so good for little children however it shuts of at a decent time for people and brings people together. The service here is exceptional. Jonny one of the workers here is so friendly and so pleasant to everyone. Whoever he speaks to ends up with a smile on their face. All the entertainment and food and pools are great. Overall this place is amazing it's a nice family friendly place.. would totally recommend it. :)
Me and my boyfriend, 18+19 came here for a week. When we got to the hotel we went straight to our room, inside we found the Aircon did not work, the shower did not work properly, the balcony door wouldn’t close, our sofa was wet and had loads of stains that were still wet aswell on it and the floors were dirty. We went downstairs to ask for the Aircon, shower and balcony door to be fixed and our sheets to be changed since hair was everywhere, where we were greeted with an unpleasant employee on guest services who acted as if we were the issue and even rolled her eyes. She told us someone would be up to sort it all. We went back up to our room and waited, a guy came in to fix the shower and balcony door and was in there for over half an hour. This was not how we wanted to start our holiday by waiting around in the hotel room for our room to be fixed. I went back down stairs and said this isn’t how we wanted to start our holiday where the lady told me ‘I never said you had to wait around in the room did I?’ Never, would anyone who has their passports and money etc in the room leave all of it unattended with people in the room. A cleaner also then entered are room who also made it clear she wasn’t happy and didn’t even speak to us.. the guest services lady told me the reason the sofa was damp was from cleaning ..I have asthma and it was clear it was dirty and it was left. Once this was all done the room was a lot better. (Even though the guy who fixed our shower left all his mess on the ground that we cleaned up) However, the next day our Aircon stopped working again. We received no proper apologies and felt very uncomfortable mentioning any issues again to the staff. On top of this.. building works were going on the entire week we were their right next to where the pool was. Loads of people were moaning and it wasn’t relaxing at all. Other than this.. food was great and I’d like to make a special shout out to Johnny!! It’s people like him that make holidays enjoyable.. he is amazing! Overall, wouldn’t recommend as a young couple as we felt quite intimidated by reception staff.
This has been the most incredible week! We’ve thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we can’t thank the staff enough for making our stay memorable. Especially the animation team for the entertainment around the pool and on the nights. They were so friendly especially Jonny.
Me and my partner has had a brilliant stay at the hovima suites. We were made very welcome by everyone especially Jonny and all of the entertainment staff. We will be back.
Location was great and the rooms were so nice!! Service was great all staff were lovely, especially jonny, so friendly and wholesome! Definitely recommend this hotel
I recently stayed here with my girlfriend for our first holiday together and I do not have a bad word to say about the hotel! We paid for half board which was exactly all we needed, we was still able to swap dinner for lunch at reception which was very handy when we wanted to do different things on each day of our stay. The rooms was constantly cleaned everyday with fresh towels etc, we was very lucky that our balcony was facing the pool and wasn’t far from the lift lobby at all. The buffet was without doubt the best I’ve ever had in any hotel I have ever been to! Not a bad thing about it, so many options during breakfast, lunch/dinner and always decent amount of seats to sit at, same situation around the pools there was no need to get up mega early to get decent seats there was always good sunbeds everyday! The location of the hotel has so much around it aswell which is all walking distance and Siam park being only a 10/15 minute taxi journey away aswell is also a bonus. Whenever I next go back to Tenerife I will 110% be staying here again and would highly recommend for such a good price aswell!
it was a wonderful holiday, everyone is very Kind specially the team animation,a special mention to Ender and Jonny..they are so friendly..we definitly come back!
We had 2 garden suite rooms (bottom floor facing road). Would not recommend unless you needed extra space for buggy/small kids perhaps (I missed having some level of privacy & peace). Air conditioning in these lower floor rooms a big problem (worst ever experienced despite lovely guest helping us out) told by first engineer its only " climate conditioning in rooms so not to expect cooler temp", second engineer told me it was broken (then left, nothing improved). Both rooms the coldest we could achieve with windows closed/card in holder 24hrs was 20c - so if you cant handle that type of temperature would not book this hotel. Disapointing given its supposed to be 4 star hotel. Writing this to help others as you expect aircon in july in a 4 star hotel - grateful I didnt have smaller kids (fridges dont work either).
fantastic stay at Hovima suites lovely room on top floor had everything we needed for the week we stayed very friendly and helpful staff especially Claudia on reception and Johnny in the entertainment team
Location close to bars, restaurants, shops and the beach. The hotel atmosphere is more geared towards adults than younger children as there is limited entertainment for them especially in the evenings as there is no mini disco. Rooms are well equipped with fridge and air-conditioning. Value for money is average if staying half board, breakfast is adequate with lots to choose from, we swopped to lunch instead of dinner and found it a bit hit and miss, drinks expensive. The entertainment was good on evenings and the hotel entertainment team were friendly and a huge asset to the hotel, a special mention to Johnny as he tries hard to involve all of the guests and makes an effort to speak to everyone. I'd like to mention one of the bar team who identified a male guest who was bothering us one evening, especially my daughter aged 18, they stopped him from buying her drinks and checked in with her the next day to make sure she was OK. Thank you. We hope to return to the Hovima in the near future as we had a great holiday.
Jonny was amazing. He is very personable and creates good relationships with all of the guests. I would highly recommend his yoga class
Jonny from the entertainment team. He is so friendly, approachable, and always brings such positive vibes to the pool. His pool dances are amazing and really get everyone involved and having fun. He also takes song requests, which makes the experience even better and more personal. Jonny’s energy and enthusiasm have made our holiday so much more enjoyable. He’s a real credit to the entertainment team!
Had a really lovely stay at Hovima Suites Costa Adeje overall, with a few standout positives and one disappointing experience. The Excellence Service is absolutely worth paying for, even if you’re only staying half-board. The extra touches really made the holiday feel much more special. A special mention has to go to Jonny, who was fantastic. He always took the time to chat, and made me feel so welcome, shout out to his aqua dance and Hovima challenges too! Staff like him are a real credit to the hotel. I’d also like to give a shoutout to the catering team, especially Juan, who looked after the Excellence breakfast every morning, and Pedro in the restaurant. They were always friendly, attentive and worked incredibly hard to make every meal enjoyable. Their warm service really stood out. The rooms and hotel were spotless. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day, leaving chocolates on the bed and restocking the drinks in the room, which were lovely little touches. The food was also really good, with plenty of choice and consistently high quality. The only real negative was my experience with the reception staff. While there may have been one or two exceptions, the majority came across as quite unwelcoming and unfriendly. Unfortunately, my Kindle was stolen from around the pool during my stay, and when I reported it to reception, they seemed completely uninterested and showed very little empathy or concern. It was disappointing to receive such a dismissive response when something upsetting had happened. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend the hotel, particularly if you go for the Excellence package. With a friendlier reception team and better support when guests have an issue, the experience would have been perfect.
Hotel is really really clean and the food is lovely, plenty of variety for everyone. Great location, short walk to the beach, bars etc. I wouldn't recommend if you have children as they dont allow you to play with toys or floats in the pool and the entertainment team aren't on enough doing things with them instead. Even in the family pool my teens were told no to a bat and ball in the shallow end, my friends daughter couldn't use a float etc. There's a huge screen in the sports bar which they often tried to say was broken so they didnt have to put world cup games on and i had to complain a few times at reception. That was disappointing as we were all set up to watch matches. My mum isn't very mobile so we didn't want to have to start going out at night for them. Beautiful rooftop bar with stunning views. Dj was excellent and pineapple daquari was delicious.
The everything your looking for information to this hotel is this. Me (23 yr old) and my girlfriend (21yr old) stayed at Hovima suites for a week and wish we did longer to be honest. All the staff have been great with us we have done the excellence upgrade on the room and it is 100% worth the extra money for the value you get here. We stayed around the adults pools despite the excellence upgrade as we are chatty and like to make friends there is absolutely no rush to get a sunbed on a morning there was always a few left and all in sun or by a umbrella. The sun tends to hit the adults side of the hotel by around 10:30am and then your in the sun all day until about 6:30pm so if your worrried about how tall the buildings look and casting shadows that’s not problem at all. I’ve seen a lot of reviews about the food at this hotel and I can say the buffet has been amazing here the food has been one of the best all inclusive wise I’ve ever had. The excellence also provides a sit down service breakfast with some stuff you can’t get at the buffet like smoked salmon bagels, avocados on toast and crepes with real Nutella sauce. The only thing I can fault is the pool side snack bar the options are, hotdogs, burgers, tuna wrap, mixed vegetables sandwich and nachos. Yup no chips by the pool side. The food sits on the side of the bar in a heater or fridge but if not many people are eating it the buns go hard so we just avoided this and ate in the lunch hall. The eating times at the hotel are, breakfast 7:30am - 10:30pm, lunch 1:00pm-3:00pm and dinner 7:00pm-9:30pm. And there is also an also a À la carte restraunt which is Italian and could not fault the place. This hotel also has a rooftop bar which can overlook the sea and sunset at night which serves much nicer presentations of cocktails and drinks but this bar is not all inclusive for anybody so it’s nice to go up for one when it’s sunset. The excellence package as a whole: What we used was the following a pillow menu, we had 8 pillows for 2 people! A scent menu for a diffuser for your room, not necessary but still a nice touch A mini fridge restock of 330ml cans of your choice up to 9 cans daily! You choice is between Amstel, water, sparkling water, Fanta, Diet Coke, Coke and sprite. The excellence pool, this bit is great was no more than 2 people here at anyone one time and there is a pool that’s only 0.2m deep but if you throw the pillow in the water it floats and it’s actually a fantastic tanning pool to keep u cool and stay in the sun. The staff come around with desserts and picky bits around the excellence pool and offer your various bits but not to worry it’s maximum 3 times a day so it’s not annoying. The self serve bar is nice in the excellence zone which offers all the soft drinks and the staff regularly change ice in a bucket and cool box for wines, water and there’s a Amstel draft tap also. If you want an any spirits of any kind though you need to go to the pool side bar. Excellence also has a added bonus at lunch and dinner time which gives you a private zone in the main buffet at the back where the staff with waiter your drink orders and make sure your topped up on wine, water and soft drinks. Excellence includes additional drinks that standard all inclusive can’t have such as blue lagoons, named spirits such as jack Daniel’s and cosmopolitans. And a larger glass size at the buffet so you don’t have to get up to keep refilling. Standard glass size 200ml, excellence 400ml I’ll leave a link to the menu at the bottom of the review Excellence also includes a free of charge late check out, standard is 12:00pm which in generally pretty good anyway but if you want a room held while 3:00pm it’s €35 or till 6:00pm it’s €70 so getting this for free is a major money saver. Excellence confirmed us a 5th floor room with a pool or sea view and was very private. Couples rooms have walk in showers the family size has the shower bath mix. Entertainment: Pool entertainment is consistent, it has water acrobatics, cocktail making lessons, guess how many pages are in a book just by looking at its thickness, and even yoga, the family pool has the water mat for the kids to run Accross but neither pool allows ball or floats in it this was a weird rule to us in but not sure how enforced these are in the family pool but in the adults section there was no floats or balls in all our stay. Entertainment at night is as good as it gets with singers l, performers and a seperate sports bar for any games that are on, we stayed during the 2026 World Cup final and with Spain winning it was a lovely environment! Pool Adults pool is 1.5m deep all round Family pool goes from shallow to deep but finishes at 1.6m deep at its deepest level. All inclusive stops at midnight can’t fault this. And one person can only order a maximum of 4 drinks per order Location of the hotel is great, close enough to shops, bars, restraunts even Water sports and anything else is a 10minute taxi including Siam park/mall Hotel rooms are clean and cleaned daily couldn’t complain Hotel is not noisy or quiet just right and we went during building works on 14 rooms and this didn’t even disturb the peace. And the most important part is the Jonny appreciation part of this post. Jonny works with the entertainment team and from day one he makes you feel at home, welcomed and comfortable. We had been at the hotel for 2 hours and he came and sat with us and said “new faces?” And did not forget our names after a brief talk. Jonny deserves his promotion in my opinion he works extremely hard and he would love to do more but there’s a rule that entertainment staff need to leave by 11:30pm and it upsets him he wishes he could stay and talk to people all night long he really has made our holiday and as joyful as he is he loves his job and everything with it. Drinks menu : im not allowed to share a link can be found online
Family of 4, 2 young men (18 &16) my wife and myself stayed here for 10 nights late June 26. We had an amazing time. this was out 4th visit to Tenerife - 2 x in Los Gigantes and 1 x in Puerto dela Cruz, 1st time on Costa Adeje. We had a very late check in and were given some simple but tasty packed lunches. All were devoured. We had 2 rooms both overlooking the adult pool on the 3rd floor, with their entrance doors facing inward to the central bar (bubbles bar). The days we spent by the pool were in the adult pool. The bar staff here were super freindly and happy. The lunch food is served in little cabinets - hot dogs, burgers, nachos, wraps. The Tuna wraps are lovely - definetley need to be tried. hardly ever a que to be served. We visited the main restaurant for breaksfat and evening meal. Lots and lots of choice here. Occasional theme nights, sometimes weren't to our taste. But there was always something on offer. the freshly cooked pasta station - I requested a carbonara, but it wasnt possible that evening - the next evening carbonara was on the menu. You can't expect better than that. The serving staff collecting used plates - all of them are polite , present as happy in their work and really add to the enjoyment of our stay. The evening entertainment. Wow. Live bands playing most nights. It's the first time we have experience this in an all inc hotel - typically magicians and acrobats. They were all excellent - rock music, latin night, GOTRA Music, we had s blast. Combined with the staff at the bar quickly serving everyone efficiently and again exuding satisfaction in their work. The hotel is spotless. Obvioulsy hard work by the cleaning team. Our rooms were cleaned every day to a high standard. The hotel does operate a rewards scheme should you wish to decline a clean or two which is a great initiative. We enjoyed cocktails on the roof and watched the sun set a couple of times. We ahd a few eveing meals out of the hotel as Costa Adeje has so much to offer (big shout to Loch Ness on the Fanabe beach front) and had a couple of excusions (caterman ride and Teide by Night) along with walks, shopping and bar visits. We always go away for 10/11 nights, feeling its the right balance between a rest and bcomeing restless to come home. For the first time we all felt as we should of stayed for 2 full weeks. We didnt want to go home so soon. thank you Hovima Team for helping making our familiy holiday the best one yet.
Odd hotel. Strange lay out that’s doesn’t work. A few pools but too small for the capacity of the hotel and the sun loungers are rammed in with no space to move. No inflatables allowed and no fun /games in adult only pool! Entertainment awful in the day…. Guess the length between knots on a rope?! Couple of good acts in the evening but inhouse stuff is cringey. Staff and food however fantastic and can’t fault at all. Not enough to do on an all inclusive basis, we ended up going out and thus spent more money. We were bored. Don’t take kids/teens.
We are just about to leave after a weeks stay at Hovima Suites and we are gutted to be going. Such a friendly and welcoming hotel! A special thanks to Jonny from the animation team for making us welcome from the minute we stepped in. Jonny got us involved in the day and evening activities and always wanted to make people smile. He is an incredible asset to this hotel. We stayed with the all inclusive excellence package and my gosh was it worth it. The extra choices of drinks, the a la carte breakfast, and the table service for drinks in the buffet made us feel special and like royalty. As well as this our fridge was restocked with different drinks daily and we had an extra area to sunbathe in with a shallow pool that was great to use when it was too hot and a self serve bar. The food in the a la cart breakfast and Italian restaurant was beautiful and can’t be faulted. As fussy eaters we were always able to find something that we liked in the buffet, some themed nights such as fish night and Asian night we decided to go out for food, but this is just because we aren’t a fan of that cuisine. Cocktails are STRONG! And as a young couple that liked to go out to Veronica’s every few nights, they were perfect pre drinks and we never had to buy much when we went out. There was always a sunbed available around the pool, we went to the adult pool every day. Although most of the time we perfected sitting in the excellence area as it had comfier sun beds. Before coming we were worried about the sun situation as the hotel is quite built up however the adult pool has soon pretty much all day from around 11-6pm. This hotel was amazing however if we had to be picky these are the things that could be improved: - pool bar snacks (food was sometimes hard and there was no variety) - allow floats and balls in the pool! - our key card stopped working 3 times during our stay resulting in trips to the reception to sort it out. The location of the hotel is perfect and there is plenty of things in walking distance, with las americas just a 10 min taxi away. We spent many evenings in the sports bar watching the World Cup and the atmosphere was great, the animation team put a lot into the final game and it was amazing to watch. Thank you hovima suites for a fantastic stay (we don’t want to leave!). I would 100% recommend.
Fabulous hotel. Clean, friendly staff, lovely food and plenty of it. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Lots of pools to choose from and always got a sunbed. I stayed at hovima Santa Maria a few years ago and was less than impressed so was dubious of their sister hotel but am pleased to say it did not disappoint. Keep up the good work, I hope to come back as a solo traveller.
Pokoje duże i czyste . Alexander który pracował w barze przy basenie robi najlepsze drinki . Cała załoga hotelu bardzo miła i pomocna .
Room and food
Noise from hotel next door.
Food is delicious, the place is great, clean and cozy, thank you 😊 🤝
good breakfast lunch and dinner, room size and cleniness is good, staff are good
we were so disappointed for an all inclusive deal there was nothing in the room, mini fridge was empty with one bottle of water, when asked at reception they said thats how it works, we have to refill the bottle, no juice no cans no beer nothing, we have to go and buy everything even at the restaurant they asked to go and fetch water and beer ourselves, they dont serve
Owerall experience was fantastic. Great entertainment for kids and for adults. Food was variable and delicious. Rooms spacious and clean. Location of the hotel was very convinient close to local shops and restaurants, 5 minutes from the beach.Bus stop just outside the hotel.. Close to Siam Park. In the hotel we were able to recive all necessary information regarding trips and surrounding activities in Tenerife. I would like to say seperate thank you to Aldo for his support and professionalism. Will deffinatley visit this hotel again. Kind regards Anna Maslovska.
Just got back from a great stay. Arrived really late at night & received a food box each, which was well received. Room was spacious & clean. All staff polite & friendly. Particularly good lifeguards who paid attention (one checked on our son as we were watching, ensuring that a parent was nearby). Food was great with lots of choice. Location excellent for exploring with supermarkets nearby. Most sunbeds were all taken by 9am in main pool but we found the other pool better as it was near the football court where our son spent lots of his time - was also better for all day sunshine! Wi-Fi great with no issues. The negatives for me were: Poor communication as I did not realise what was on & when until the last day when I noticed a sign outside the restaurant late afternoon - never saw this at breakfast. My son missed the foam party & was so upset there wasn't another. Poor entertainment, we caught one acrobat type show whilst there which was great but it was so busy that we had to watch from the hotel walkway balcony. Any other time was football. Mini Disco was fine but my kids are older now so didn't want to take part. I would however stay again and would recommend it also
Returning from a brilliant 10 night stay and already can’t wait to return. From the moment we arrived every single one of the staff were so kind. Everyone says hello - such a friendly hotel. The grounds are lovely - well maintained and always clean. Food was excellent with large variety every night - all fresh, and the staff (Carmala & Pablo in particular) were great. We sat in the adults only area of the restaurant. Beautiful roof terrace and drink prices reasonable for half board guests. Bonus having nice Starbucks coffee in the Bubble bar. The room was great for three adults - not something you get in other hotels. We really liked the separate areas for adults - the pool was warm and plenty of sun beds. No opening rush. Not many mention the spa - it was brilliant. We had a 75 minute treatment and the masseurs were brilliant. Some good offers on. Great 4* hotel, something for everyone but not pretentious.
Absolute rubbish hotel ,nothing works ,no WIFI no tv staff don't like the English very poor communication food just 2 star , room floor tiles moving all the time toilet kept stopping fan never worked and tv not working I went to the reception about 10 times about the problems but they didn't want to know , the win fi works in the lobby only , rubbish hotel in need of maintenance ,they did offer another room but we were 2 rooms as the daughter could not be on her own so had to refuse a move but a lot of other people said the same rubbish HOTEL , dont waist your money on a dump like this and go somewhere decent .
El personal nos trató de lujo. Gente muy cercana y profesional
Everything about this hotel was great. The hotel was lovely and clean, staff were friendly, food was good and the location was great too. Never had to fight for a sun bed and the pools were heated which was a great bonus. The animation team were amazing, especially Mili. They were fab with both the kids and adults, always full of energy and enthusiasm. In the evening there was bingo and quizzes for the adults followed by singers every night so plenty to keep the guests entertained. We loved every minute of our holiday and would definitely return.

Wonderful last minute holiday with my 6 year old. Animation team were absolutely amazing. Great entertainment. Food was really good. Hotel was very clean. Location was good. 5 mins to the beach. The Italian al a carte was an added bonus. A wonderful lady called Noa was on hand in at her guest experiences desk always ready to make your stay as great as it can be. A real credit to this hotel. I would go back. We went during Easter holidays and it was very busy but to be expected. We met some fabulous guests staying there.
We had a great holiday here overall, with a few negatives. Room (238F) was spacious and clean, but a bit shabby (exposed screws on the floor tiles etc). And the soundproofing was terrible. On the first 2 nights the noise from the entertainment was ridiculously loud and kept us awake. Thankfully on the third night they moved the entertainment to a different location so it wasn’t as disruptive after that. The view from the balcony was non existent/ugly, and seemed to be always in the shade. Housekeeping was good. The pools were lovely and warm but all the sun beds at the main pool were reserved with towels by 9am so we only went there a couple of times. The other family pool was not as busy so we mainly went there. The lifeguards were very attentive and made sure no one broke the ‘no inflatables’ rule. I thought the buffet restaurant food was excellent (and I am generally not a fan of all inclusive buffets). The food was really fresh and varied from night to night. In particular, I really liked the fresh salads. Obviously with it being school holidays, the hotel and restaurant in particular were MANIC. But the staff did a great job of keeping everything moving and ensuring a good service. The entertainment was ok. Our son enjoyed the mini disco each night and the entertainment staff clearly worked really hard and were super enthusiastic. The hotel location is fab… just a few minutes walk from the resort centre and beaches. Also only 20 mins from the airport. We really appreciated the courtesy room we were able to use to shower ahead of our evening flight home. So in summary: staff and food = excellent. Pools and entertainment = good. Room and general maintenance = tired and a bit shabby. I would perhaps not class it as 4* standard but overall we had a good holiday here.
Not quite like the photos ! Staff are great and friendly. Food good but can be cold Drinks are cold! Rooms a bit basic but clean Family pool is lovely Biggest disappointment are the fun police. No inflatables or balls in the family pool apart from very small rings My son wasn’t bothered but the disappointment on lots of children’s faces was very sad. Would I come again…. Probably not Sorry
Absolutely fantastic stay at HOVIMA Suites Costa Adeje. After a very disappointing start to our holiday elsewhere, arriving here was honestly like night and day. From the moment we checked in, everything was perfect. The hotel was spotless, modern, and beautifully maintained, with such a lovely atmosphere throughout. Our suite was spacious, bright, and incredibly clean, and the bed was so comfortable — exactly what we needed. Every area of the hotel felt fresh, well looked after, and welcoming. The food was absolutely beautiful with plenty of choice, and everything we had was fresh and delicious. The staff were also lovely and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. The location is ideal, with the beach, shops, and restaurants all within easy walking distance, making it perfect for a relaxing break in Costa Adeje. This hotel completely saved our holiday and allowed us to thoroughly enjoy the rest of our trip. We loved it so much that we have already booked to return with our family in May, which says everything about how wonderful our experience was. We would not hesitate to return and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, stylish, and well-located hotel. Thank you for turning our holiday around and making the rest of our stay so special.

Hovima Suites Costa Adeje is a very welcoming hotel. The staff in all areas are clearly happy at work. They are friendly and can't do enough for you. We had a lovely suit with a surprising sea view. The room was spacious and very clean. It has plenty of wardrobe space with the added bonus of an extra one in the lounge area. Our room had a welcome bottle of water on arrival but we the had to purchase our own. This only cost €1.50 in the shop down the road and this was for a 5 litre bottle. Our room on floor F3 was cleaned daily by a lovely friendly lady. Our towels were changed daily also. We stayed on an all inclusive basis. The food was amazing. It was plentiful and there was a great variety on offer at all sittings. We didn't find it repetitive and it was great to have different meats on offer. My husband was thrilled that 3 times during our week stay they had lamb chops!! The staff in the restaurant were constantly wiping down and tidying surfaces. We also witnessed them checking the temperature of food. The salad variety and desserts were excellent as well. We didn't try the specialty restaurant as we had so much choice each night in the buffet restaurant. The drink was also very good for an all inclusive. It was a very efficient service and always with a smile. Unfortunately our week there was hit with Storm Therese so we had lots and lots of rain!! Even so the staff were great, checking on people and carrying on entertainment when they could. The evening entertainment was good but a shame that the weather meant it all had to be inside. Despite the horrendous weather we can honestly say we had a lovely week at the Hovima Suites. We didn't come back with a tan but definitely came back fatter!!! I would 100% recommend this hotel.
Excellent location short walking distance from beach and shops. Friendly staff , everywhere clean and outside area well maintained. Couldnt understand night time entertainment area when biggest space is in centre of hotel Mattresses werent best and the pillows where rubbish
Mini-disco was a huge hit for my 3-year-old daughter—she absolutely loved it! Congratulations to the team for creating such a fun and engaging experience for kids. The food was also very good, with plenty of choices available, and we appreciated that some of the dishes changed from day to day. Overall, a very enjoyable stay!
The pool was heated great pool Bar
We got a very bad room on the first day high vibration as the room was near by the facility related equipments if we tauched the furniture , walls, doors we felt the vibration and noise after 30 minutes a strong headaque, we reperted it to the reception but no offer for other room no compensation no apologies nothing we felt ourself as a guilty one however they admit they recongized the issue with the room- we had to sleep in our friends room :( the managers and the team at the reception were so rude destroyed our holiday good vibe :( We can undestand a lot of thing but at least they should be kind …. Very dissapointed
Great hotel ! Big rooms , big bathroom. Great nights sleep . Huge choice of food breakfast and dinner . Mugs for tea , not those tiny little ones . English breakfast options , also continental and Spanish . Same choice in the evening but plenty of fish options - especially liked the elver and prawn side salad and the king prawns freshly cooked in front of you . A varied evening menu each night as well . Very clean , all of the staff are very friendly . We went half board , the drinks prices were very good , especially when compared to the local bars . Evening entertainment was about average and finished around 10.30 pm , so going to bed was very peaceful. The hotel is a 5-10 min stroll from the beaches and bars . 5 mins from the outdoor market . There is a bus stop right outside , and one around the corner for travelling longer distances. There are plenty of pools , the only downside being the usual greedy mob putting towels on the Sun loungers first thing , mainly Brits ! Why ??? I would certainly recommend this hotel , definitely 4 star but without the usual snobbery .
Rooms were nice, food unfortunately disappointing so ate out every night. Beverage prices expensive for quality and pool area was shaded often.
The hotel was gorgeous. We arrived and received a welcome drink which was a nice surprise. Very clean and the rooms were really modern and spacious. Our room had a pool view and an ocean view outside the front door! Warm clean pools, including an adults only. The animation team were always friendly faces and my toddler loved the mini disco. Food was good, some nights were better than others but always a good selection and the pizza was always a winner. The half board plus was a really good deal. Didn't discover the sunset lounge until the last day, but quite the hidden gem! The location was excellent - walking distance to three different beaches, Puerto colon and shops, supermarkets and restaurants. We were really impressed and had a really special stay here. Would stay again!
We stayed for 7 nights from 15th March , stayed in room 444f room is a little tired could do with updating , the shower when in use kept going boiling , made you scream when rinsing the shampoo off . The beds were really comfortable, house keeping was daily and they did a great job. The restaurant was great, breakfast hot & plenty of choice same as the evening , the food choice and cleanliness were perfect , half board plus is perfect as well as you could have wine soft drinks or bear , the Red & the Rose were lovely Only stayed twice for the evening entertainment, was good what we saw , unfortunately we were there when the storm was going on , so glad we did the roof terrace on the Tuesday and did get too see the sunset and enjoy the view but couldn’t enjoy the hotel as much not they’re fault such a shame for us We did have towels no charge , didn’t have a safe felt we didn’t need one . Would definitely go again but later in the year
Excellent food. Friendly staff. Clean. Well maintained and warm pools. Floor tiles in bathroom were a little worn but staff were aware and repair scheduled. Within easy walking distance of beaches, shops and restaurants. Would rexommend.
