Lieder war die Lärmbelästiung aufgrund der Lage bis weit in die Nacht hinein am Anfang sehr hoch. Das Personal hat ein eLösung für uns gefunden!

The property is located within the St Nicholas Market and a short walk away from the train station and the shopping centre. It is a very nice place to stay. I was staying in a rooftop caravan and it was fun.

Für Menschen mit Platzangst ist das nichts. Miniaturzimmer mit Miniaturbad, kaum Ablagen, kein Schrank. Das Waschbecken ist ein Witz: so klein, dass man sich nicht drüber beugen kann. Die Lage allerdings ziemlich klasse, direkt am St. Nicholas Markt. Alles in der Stadt super zu erreichen.

Dass das Bett am Abreisemorgen noch in sich zusammenbrach, ist fast folgerichtig. Im Übrigen des Nächtens doch recht laut.

Best place to stay in Bristol! A nive boutique-style guesthouse located right in the heart of Bristol's old town. It is an ideal choice if you are looking for a very central location, as it sits right next to the famous St Nicholas Market, restaurants and other interesting places. The place was very clean and confortable!

Comfortable bed and hot shower

Location - the courtyard looked lovely but opened into an alley near two large city centre pubs, so it was very noisy. The door to the hotel and the courtyard gate were unlocked and at 10pm a man came in, shouting obscenities and wandering around the courtyard. If we'd been returning to the hotel then, it would have felt unsafe. There was nobody on the reception desk either, as they finish at 8pm. As it was, I watched through the window to ensure the man left and informed the receptionist in the morning. We were sent to another hotel for breakfast, which charged us almost double the advertised rate. I rang the hotel manager and they refunded the difference quickly. Too many things would put me off returning.

Bed - mattress needs replacing. Car park. Offer advertised in room re parking in the galleries is wrong. Having parked there told by staff it was now NCP car park. No offer of recompense even though it was their offer led us to use the galleries car park.

Onze kamer gaf uit op een terras van een bar dus elke avond luide muziek en gepraat, gelach tot een stuk in de nacht. Gelukkig houden de vensters wel veel geluid tegen. Kamer is vrij basic: geen kluis, geen koelkast etc. Bedden en douche waren wél prima in orde.

How this property has this rating I do not know. We paid £190 for the room and got room 17. Good luck if you get this one (and others I gather). The music from the bars opposite is like being in the bar itself and it carries on until 3am! The good news is that once the music has stopped, the bottles get collected at 5am. The problem is that the staff know this is an issue. It happens every night if the week. I wouldn’t mind if it was offered as a reduced rate with the proviso that it is noisy but when the staff know about it it is very galling. We didn’t get any sleep whatsoever, just the usually apology from the front desk…..’ can’t do anything about it…. It’s the usual noise from a vibrant city’……er….no it’s unbelievably loud beyond what I would call reasonable. Don’t even get me started on cracks in the sink and the floor tiles….all of which could do with a make over. Good luck if you get one of the rooms at the back…..the noise is ridiculous but don’t worry it’s all part of being in a ‘vibrant city’! Totally unacceptable when you pay for good nights sleep. Windows were closed which made the room really hot. Avoid this place in my opinion.

It was central in the city

It was next to a noisy pub which had loud music and shouting g until 1.45am two of the three nights stay . Room very small . Mattress you could feel the springs . Stains on carpet. Staff were not very friendly and not very helpful.

Emplacement idéal dans le centre de Bristol et en face de St Nicholas Market. En période de forte chaleur, j'ai apprécié qu'un ventilateur soit déjà présent dans la chambre, et que les fenêtres aient une grande ouverture par rapport à la norme de ce qu'on trouve en Angleterre, couplées à des volets.

Die Lage mitten in Bristol war super, das Zimmer total süß eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Das Bad war riesig. Das Frühstück war perfekt, entweder English Breakfast oder Kontinental. Der Koch hat sich allergrößte Mühe gegeben, es allen Recht zu machen

Es gab nicht sehr viel Ablagefläche im Zimmer. Man muss eher aus dem Koffer leben. Fanden wir aber nicht schlimm.

Das Hotel liegt mitten in der Fußgängerzone. Mit einem Fahrzeug kommt man da nicht hin. Das konnte ich in der Beschreibung nicht erkennen.

Fantastic location and excellent facilities. Very clean and comfortable, and the staff were fantastic.

Origineller Airstream Wohnwagen auf dem Dach des Hotels. Das Bad war erstaunlich praktisch. Es wäre eigentlich auch recht gemütlich, wenn nicht die negativen Seiten den Spaß gedämpft hätten.

Die Inneneinrichtung war recht heruntergekommen, abgerissener Vorhang, völlig verfleckte Polster der Sitzecke, Badwände mit Seifenspritzern anderer Gäste nicht ausreichend sauber, draußen vor der Tür stand noch Geschirr der Vormieter....der Preis war schlichtweg sehr unangemessen. Ohne Frühstück auf 7 m2 mit diesem Komfort für 174,00 Euro sind einfach ein Witz.

O quarto era muito limpo e a equipe era muito simpática. A localização era bastante central em Bristol. O ambiente da acomodação era bastante tranquilo, com um pátio interno com laguinho e locais para sentar, bem como dentro do prédio. O café da manhã tinha poucas opções de buffet, mas boas opções no menu à la carte.

No caso do café da manhã à la carte, um ponto negativo é que nós tínhamos que esperar que algum funcionário viesse à mesa para pegar nosso pedido. Isso fazia com que a refeição em si demorasse um pouco (no último dia só comemos as opções do buffet, porque ninguém veio à mesa). Por mais que pudéssemos ir lá pedir para que viessem, nós já estávamos correndo para fazer check-out, então só saímos e tomamos um café na rua. O quarto não tem ar-condicionado, mas tinha um ventiladorzinho bem potente que ajudou nos dias de verão que passamos lá. Nada disso, porém, seria impeditivo para voltarmos e recomendarmos o hotel!

The location was excellent . Good breakfast in very pleasant surroundings . Nice open access to courtyard area .

The bed was not sturdy .. and needed repair. The furniture was dated and worn . Their was no air conditioning and as the temperatures were almost 30C it was very hot and stuffy . We had a fan but then had a long power cut and also lost water supply overnight .There were no tourist information leaflets .

Bathroom had a smell to it. The bed frame was obscured and sticking out at the corners resulting in a painfully experience gor both myself and my wife

It was the temperature of the room that was the only disappointment. This isn’t something that the hotel could really help and a fan was provided. Just far too warm to be comfortable during this period of hot weather

Location very central. Stayed in the caravan on the roof which was nice to sit outside in the evening. 10 min walk to the nearest car park.

Nothing that you could do better. Only information for other guests is if you pick to stay in the caravan be mindful of the weather. With the hot temperatures the caravan was like a sauna but in the evening when the weather cooled down it was fine. Other note England we’re playing football so it was very noisy in the evening due to how close you are to the pubs but this is no fault of the guesthouse.

Our second visit - excellent location and all we could need for our stay. We will definitely use Brooks Guesthouse again.

The heat meant having windows open, so we did experience some noise from nearby parties watching the England match - but that is not the hotel's fault.

Le confort global de la chambre, le côté central du B&B, les membres du personnel assez à l'écoute. La literie était correcte aussi.

La proximité avec une rue de pubs ultrabruyants. La connexion Wi-Fi vraiment nulle. Les fichues persiennes qui ne sont vraiment pas optimales pour le sommeil. Bon et le petit-déjeuner n'était pas dingue ni en variété ni en qualité.

Sehr zentrale Lage. Viele gute Restaurants und Bars/Pubs in der Nähe.

We were there during a heatwave, rooms were very hot (weathers fault), was a fan in the room, which helped a little. On instructions was told to park in the Galleries car park to get discount, however, hotel changed car park and it hasnt been updated on Booking.com so vost us a lot for a 2 day stay

Great location in old town close to markets and central to everything. Only downside is the noise from the pubs until late. If it’s cool enough to close windows it’s not a problem, otherwise ask for a room overlooking the quiet central courtyard - or join them at the pub! Rooms were cute and cosy, has a lift, full breakfast available if you want it.

Night time noise might annoy some. Ask for an internal courtyard room.

Unfortunately due to the warm weather, the room was unbearably hot. There was only a small fan in the room which was covered in dust. Noise during the night from the streets but is expected due to the location. The car park you receive the discount is quite a walk away.

I booked a room from booking.com, when I arrived to hotel they said booking.com made a mistake and they said they don't have any rooms available. They offered me a caravan at the roof of the hotel. I checked caravan but it was 40C and caravan did not have air conditioning. It was like an oven and I did not agree to stay in a caravan. I booked a proper room. I wanted to cancel booking. They said they have nothing to do. They said I need to cancel through booking.com. I apllied for a free cancellation thourugh booking.com and they sent my e-mail to hotel which declined free cancellation. I felt myself like a pingpon ball between booking and the hotel. I could not stay at the hotel and needed to pay for another hotel. They did not cancel my booking and charged for the stay. It is really unfair. It is my worst ever travel experince.

Location is very central and the guesthouse is extremely pretty. My room was comfortable and the staff was really kind and went the extra mile.
