A heartwarming affair in the middle of the forest in a garden full of life, beauty and colors with a view of the sea and rocks. Very good breakfast. We returned after 2 years. Beautiful and clean pool with views and very nice service. Very friendly staff overall. We would love to come back again.

A jackpot. When you arrive, you’ll understand why. Only 8 minutes away from walking street and the epicentre of Railay and yet it feels like out of this world: pure nature, tranquility, no smell from the marsh water near the pier, no noise from the departing boats. Phutawan Resort exceeded all our expectations in every sense. If you want the crowd, you either take the complimentary hotel shuttle that brings you to walking street in 2 minutes or just walk for 8 minutes. If you want your peace, you just swim in the pool surrounded by the quiet greenery of Railay. The hotel gives you this kind of choice and after one walk through the centre of Railay, you will understand why this matters a lot.

The only negative aspect was the power blackout in the breakfast room that occurred several times every single morning. There is probably one device that needs to be replaced. This was by far the only negative issue that occured during our entire stay.

Une vue extraordinaire, un chemin pour aller au notre chambre décoré comme une jardin et très mignon le soir avec les lanterne. Aucune vis à vis avec les autres maison. Un bon petit déjeuner, et un personnel très attentif. Un vrai plus d’avoir a disposition un tik tik pour te déposer et te remonter entre la mer et l’hôtel.

The breakfast buffet was always cold: cold bakes beans, cold potatoes, cold sausages - every day for five days. There is no proper functioning heating system for that, so we skipped that part and enjoyed the rest of the buffet.

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans cet hôtel qui offre tout de même une vue superbe . Notre douche fuyait et l 'insonorisation n 'était pas au maximum nous entendions les voisins . Le petit déjeuner est simple mais agréable. Le restaurant le soir dispose d'un bon rapport qualité prix . Gros bémol de la musique américaine pour ado beaucoup trop forte . Malgré le service et la qualité cela gâche vraiment l 'expérience alors que nous sommes dans un lieu unique et le gazon synthétique est à revoir . Cela reste tout de même un bon choix .

El hotel es ideal, las cabañas son perfectas para descansar. Piscina y zona de alrededores muy cuidada. La cama súper cómoda y el desayuno de 10, solo le pondría pegas al té, que no había opciones, solo una tetera ya hecha con el té negro súper amargo difícil de beber.

Me parece un poco abusivo que te cobren un 3% extra por pagar con tarjeta de crédito. El volumen de la música en la piscina no acompaña al entorno ni a relajarse. En un sitio así lo ideal es poder escuchar los ruidos de la naturaleza.

I liked everything.

The swimming pool had an amazing pool, I didn’t get the chance to swim in it but it’s amazing the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable and the service was amazing especially Ameena she was lovely and she helped me so much and also recommended me a lot of places to go to!

Alles! Wij zijn al meerdere keren op railay geweest omdat we gek zijn op deze plek. Het is niet chique en luxe, tenzij je op dat hele dure resort zit. Maar ik zou daar nooit heen gaan. Wij waren wel voor het eerst op dit resort. De eerste dag waren we vooral verliefd op de prachtige plek. De aapjes om je heen en de mooie kamers. Maar wat deze plek echt mooi maakt is het personeel. Wat een ontzettend lieve hardwerkende mensen met allemaal een hart van goud. Deze mensen werken hier keihard en elke dag met een glimlach op hun gezicht. Maar wat wij toeristen niet mogen vergeten is dat deze mensen allemaal een eigen verhaal hebben, dat deze baan voor hun van levensbelang is. Denk dus goed na als je gaat klagen over nutteloze dingen. Betaal je bonnetjes direct na het bestellen! En ga is in gesprek. Hun verhalen zijn inspirerend en indrukwekkend. Ondanks alles staan ze daar elke dag weer, vrolijk, geïnteresseerd en met zoveel passie. Deze mensen maken dat deze plek zo mooi en warm aanvoelt. Ik wil daarom hen bedanken voor de mooie week die ze ons hebben gegeven. Ik zal jullie nooit meer vergeten en hoop dat ze krijgen wat ze verdienen in dit leven. Très bel hôtel dans les hauteurs. À 5 mn à pied des restaurants et de l’agitation de la rue principale. Les chambres sont très belles et ont un côté « coloniale ». La piscine est très belle, avec une vue sur les falaises et la mer.

Les deux escaliers à côté de la piscine ne sont pas sécurisés. Attention à vos enfants ou aux personnes avec des problèmes de mobilité

Kesinlikle tekrar gelmek isterim. Asla sahile uzak diye düşünmeyin tuk tuk ile alıp bırakıyorlar. Yürümesi de 9 dk kadar sürüyor zaten. Yolda Diamond cave vs bulunuyor, cok keyifli ve güvenli bir yol. Otel tertemiz, calisanlar güvenli. Odada pc, cüzdan her şeyimizi bıraktık hic bir sorun yaşanmadı.

J’ai tout aimé

We stayed in the resort for a whole week, unlike 90% of other guests who’d stay for a night or two. It’s a great place for chill, relaxing vacation. Definitely not for type A “I have to see the whole of Thailand in 15 days” type of tourists. It’s a place when you can truly unwind, relax and just… be! The staff was always kind and helpful. They have a tuktuk that can take you to the village, but it’s a 1 minute drive or a 5 minute walk, it’s really close. Yet still it gives you a feeling of being in the middle of a jungle. We were upgraded from a room to a villa when we arrived. The villa was very spacious, organized and the bed was ginormous and super comfortable. The food was really good and prepared with care. The view from the pool is simply breathtaking! Definitely recommend!

I guess that for guests that stayed for a longer period, like we did, the breakfast did get boring very time, it was literally the same food every single day, more variety would be nice! Also, for a place that would call itself a resort I think mover facilities should be offered, like massages onsite etc.

Отель расположен на горе в живописном месте между скал, вид на море из бассейна открывается красивый. Коктейли в баре отличные, интернет быстрый, номер просторный. Персонал приветливый. От западной части через Main Street по прямой минут 12-15 до пляжа, до лодочного пирса на восточной стороне примерно столько же шлепать. Вроде бы не критично, но по жаре с чемоданами я бы 10 раз подумал.

Завтрак скромный, бассейн закрывается в 22.00, бар в 21.30, тусклое освещение в номере, депозит 2 тыс бат наличными. На гору по несколько раз за день надоедает ходить, а каждый раз тук-тук ждать тоже не хватает терпения.

Le personnel est aux petits soins, la chambre spacieuse et propre. La piscine est fabuleuse avec une super vue et ouverte jusqu'à 22h. L'emplacement était super, avec un accès facile à toutes les activités proposées sur railay Nous avons pu laisser nos sacs et continuer à profiter de la piscine le jour de notre check out

Les prix un peu élevés du restaurant par rapport à ceux du village pour une qualité identique.

Hôtel très bien entretenu. La piscine est fabuleuse avec une superbe vue. Le personnel est aux petits soins. L'emplacement en hauteur donne tout son charme à cet hôtel. Les navettes en tuk tuk pour les a/r sur la rue principale sont très appréciables même si en soin il ne faut marcher que 5 bonnes minutes pour y accéder. Le petit déjeuner est très bien, tous les jours des plats sur commande vous sont proposés. Sans hésiter je recommande vivement.

La dimension du lit en 140. L'humidité dans les chambres. Les portes coulissantes donnant sur la terrasse qui ne ferment pas bien laissant passer tous les insectes. Nous nous sommes retrouvés avec une grenouille. A noter que cet hôtel n'est pas du tout adapté pour des personnes en situation de handicap physique.

L’établissement est super ! Le personnel est top et prend le temps de nous expliquer chaque détail. Les chambres sont propres et le service de ménage est au petit soin aussi. Le petit déjeuner est top mais pas très très varié. Il y a un service navette en tuk tuk qui passe toute les 1heures pour nous emmener à la plage et dans la rue marchande. Bon service pour les excursions ! Le service navette aéroport est au top également

L’hôtel est dans un coin extirper de krabi. Ce qui fait qu’on a l’impression que l’hotel est un all inclusive. On doit prendre le bateau pendant 15 minutes pour aller dans la ville

Lugar de ensueño. Desayuno exquisito.

Nuestro vuelo llegó tarde. Cuando llegamos a Railay Beach con el Long Tail Boat (que por cierto tuvimos que pagar nosotros íntegro; 800 BTH), no conseguimos contactar con el alojamiento para que vinieran a buscarnos con el tuc tuc, pese a haberles escrito previamente, y tuvimos que llegar a pie con el equipaje, de noche, por un sendero empinado y poco iluminado; por suerte en ese momento no llovía… En temporada de lluvias, te arriesgas a no poder moverte de la isla si hay lluvias y vientos fuertes.

The windows did not fully close. To avoid mosquitos we had to put toilet paper in the gaps. This should really be an urgent matter for the hotel. Especially in rainy season. Only one umbrella per room.

El servicio bar de la piscina agradable. Desayuno bastante variado y rico. Las vistas desde la piscina son una maravilla, se pueden ver los monos bajando por la montaña.

Los mosquitos en las habitaciones, pero es algo logico ya que está rodeado de vegetación y fauna.

We had an amazing stay and were extremely happy with our experience! Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, which made our stay even more special. The hotel is set in a breathtaking rocky landscape surrounded by lush tropical nature and incredible wildlife. From the hotel pool, we were lucky enough to spot an Asian black hornbill, which was an unforgettable experience! We even came across a forest scorpion 😀—a true reminder of how immersed in nature this place is. We also really appreciated the complimentary tuk-tuk pickup service, which made getting to the hotel with our luggage effortless. Our only regret is that we booked just one night—we definitely wish we had stayed longer! Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and unique stay surrounded by nature.

From the off the price was really good! We were met From our boat with the resorts private tuk tuk and the driver was so pleasant and helpful. Upon arrival we received a fabulous greeting, the staff were really welcoming and upgraded our room. The room was beautiful with great facilities and a lovely comfortable bed. The first night we walked up to the pool for a dip and as we turned to face the view we were both actually speechless - no words could’ve done it justice! The view is incredible! The infinity pool invites you to just stand there and take it all in. John at the pool bar and restaurant was amazing, he couldn’t have done more for us! What an asset to the resort! He had us chatting, laughing, sharing stories. He gave us recommendations and told us where to stay away from. He’s an absolute star! The restaurant food was good, the breakfast was fabulous with so much choice and all freshly prepared. We would definitely stay here again!

The pool was excellent. The view was fantastic. The room was OK.

The bathroom was not good quality. Hot water was intermittent, and there was no hot water in the sink. Also didn’t like the fact that it was a very long walk uphill to get to the property.

Everything was great, the staff was very attentive and nice, the room was very nice and the pool with the view was very good too. It was very easy to walk to the restaurants and the beaches.

Gorgeous property on the top of the hill, surrounded by dramatic limestone structures. Mystical and beautiful surroundings. With the free beach shuttle, getting to the beach is not so bad even though it is not a beachfront property. Food is good, rooms are comfortable and nice, and staff and very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again. We had a great stay. Thank you.

Wonderful view from the room and of course from the swimming pool, especially watching rock climbers going up and down that cliff was fun. The staff was lovely too - from our tuktuk driver to our waiter John, all were amazing people!

The only thing pedestrian alley from the hotel to Railay beach was my least favourite part, but it’s not property’s issue/fault.

Location is not the greatest compared to other resorts (up a hill, farther away). The overall place just lacks local character and feels a bit sterile.

Es ist etwas oberhalb vom Zentrum aber gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Die Lage ist dementsprechend ruhig und erholsam. Der Poolbereich ist sehr schön und die Auswahl an Essen (Früshstück oder a la carte) ist gut.

Teilweise war es im späteren Nachmittag nicht mehr sehr sauber im Pool. Zimmer sind sehr warm.

Endroit magnifique mais le service laisse à désirer. Pour le petit déjeuner, les Jours d’affluence il n’y a pas assez et on doit sans cesse réclamer. Ce n’est pas digne de ce type d’établissement.

It was an amazing stay. The staff were great and the hotel was beautiful and in a great location to go either side of the island for exploring.

Location was amazing , personal tooktook transfers a to the beach and back when ever you need. Organised my trip to the airport with them was perfect. Tractor , long boat , taxi . All their staff definitely recommend. Food was great. And the bell boys running my bags around wouldn’t let me help they are very strong and did it with a smile. 10/10

The only two things I would say is the beds are those very firm beds that feel like they are just made of stacked up compressed fabric not springs and foam. Not the worst but would be nice to have a nice mattress but that could also be a personal preference. And not that we had any bugs in the room but there are a few finger size gaps around the doors and the windows. That are all part of the wooden charm of the room but could let in some bugs. Beds are netted though so that’s kinda cool. It I think out of necessity maybe from previous guests.

Ich habe selten so einen freundlichen und herzlichen Menschen wie John kennengelernt immer freundlich immer am Lächeln sofort da wenn man was brauchte , er kennt sich sehr gut mit der Umgebung aus hat uns Empfehlungen gegeben . Wir hatten sehr nette Gespräche mit Ihm, natürlich war der Rest des Personals auch sehr nett und freundlich. Zimmer war bei Ankunft sehr sauber und wurde auch immer sauber gemacht . Das Restaurant Essen war auch super die Kommunikation mit der Rezeption ging sehr leicht über WhatsApp. Der Pool war sehr sauber Alles im Ganzen eine sehr schöne Anlage. 9/10

Das Frühstück war zwar sehr sauber und Ansich lecker mit frischen Früchten etc. Aber es könnte mehr Auswahl geben wie zbs. Oliven oder Käse sonst alles Gut

Excepcional. Todo era perfecto, inmerso en el paisaje selvatico con vistas inmejorables. El desayuno muy rico y variado en un lugar con unas vistas increíbles. La piscina con agua templada. La habitación amplia, cómoda, perfecta. Una noche comimos 3n el restaurante del hotel y la comida fue riquísima bajo las estrellas. Hermoso lugar, recomendado 100%

Great location- hotel surrounded by high hills and ocean, I asked for the room upgrade after 1st night (superior double room wasn't that nice), and changed for ocean view room- I highly recommend it, got even a discount. Hotel provides free tuktuk transfer to the beach, on hourly basis. In the first evening we got a perfect dinner in the restaurant. Personnel was very helpful and nice....

... apart from 1 older, pretentious waiter who was ignoring our requests in a very annoying way. For some reason meals in the restaurant after first day got worse, we even got undercooked and tough seafood and vegetables in the soup.

An unforgettable stay at Railay Phutawan Resort I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the entire team of Railay Phutawan Resort for making my stay truly special. First of all, I want to thank the hotel staff for helping me with the room upgrade to a cottage. I was planning to ask about this possibility upon arrival, but I simply wrote to the hotel in advance, and they arranged everything right at the booking stage. This was an amazing gesture and it made a very strong first impression. I am extremely grateful for such care and support. The room itself was wonderful, very comfortable and beautiful. The breakfasts were excellent, with a great atmosphere every morning. The hotel team was incredibly friendly and helpful in every single matter. Whatever I needed, they were always there with a smile and a genuine desire to help. The swimming pool was absolutely beautiful, and the bar team deserves a special mention. They made an outstanding daiquiri — honestly, the best daiquiri I have ever had in my life. From now on, this drink will always remind me of that beautiful pool, the lovely bar, and the amazing people working there. I also really appreciated the location of the hotel. It is higher up in the hills, away from the main crowds and the busy promenade, which creates a very peaceful, private and safe feeling. For anyone wondering whether to stay closer to the beach or choose this hotel, I would definitely recommend Railay Phutawan Resort. The location actually adds something special to the experience: every day you have a nice short walk through Railay, surrounded by beautiful nature and limestone cliffs. I stayed for 13 nights, and every morning I enjoyed walking down to the beach, visiting the local shops, cafés and tour agencies. The logistics were very convenient: once you walk down from the hotel, you are close to the main bar and restaurant area, where you can easily book trips and activities.

Lo único esque en el cottage en el que estabamos no llegaba bien el wifi a la tele y no podíamos ver nada, pero nada comparado con la maravilla que era todo.
