Hilton Queenstown Resort & Spa

The room was gorgeous! Lovely lake view, the hot tub was incredible and the location was central without being in the middle of everything. The staff were wonderful and I highly recommend staying here when in Queenstown!

The pillows, but that's just personal preference because I don't like feather pillows. Everything else was perfect!

The main restaurant, we ate there one night and my steak was literally 50% fat and inedible, so we didn’t go back, could not fault the breakfast in the same restaurant

The stay here is amazing, very spacious and beautiful room. Ammenities provided were great, with very large and comfortable bathrooms and beds. We got to enjoy using the pools and saunas as well. Breakfast here is amazing too! Also easy access into the city via the Water Taxi. Overall amazing comfortable stay!

The room was beautiful, clean and spacious. The bathroom was huge with a gorgeous shower and bath, the pressure was fabulous! The bed was so incredibly comfortable, had the best sleep of our trip! The view was beautiful, looking over the lake and off to the mountains. The staff were friendly and so helpful.

The Hilton is feeling old. The drains in our room smelt terrible, there was a napkin on the floor outside our room the entire 3 days we were there, the daily housekeeping didn’t clean or replace used glasses. The Wakatipu Grill is terrible value for money - the food is entirely average but costs a fortune.

The rain shower was broken, one of the lights in the bathroom didn’t work. Both reported but only shower repaired. Air Con vents made loud ticking noises all night. Lake views were limited. Claimed all sports were showing but no AFL for preliminary finals. For a supposed spa resort to only have generic coffee sachets is not a standard I would expect.

Loved the whole atmosphere of Hilton. I was instantly welcomed with smiles when I entered . Customer service desk was lovely and warm and answered all my questions. There is also a seating lounge area over looking the lake and the icy mountain tops with a nice warm fire to warm you up on a freezing day which is lovely. Also we stayed on the bottom floor which was only a 1 minute walk to the whakatipu restaurant where we enjoyed a beautiful buffet breakfast every morning!! Top of the line Kai!!!

The only thing I didn't like was the fact that I had to ask how to turn the fire on. This information would be of great benefit before I go to my room to relax. Also for the amount I paid the photos did not do the room justice and the bathroom interior is quite out of date and needs a bit of sprucing up. The spa unfortunately was not hot enough when I came back from a long day quad biking and adventuring so this was a real let down for me because I paid extra for this room in particular because I had my own personal spa so I didn't have to share with anyone else at the hotel so I was very disappointed.

Comfy bed and couch. Good location close to resturants. Included in most tour pick up locations.

We ordered our first room for 2 adults and only had adquete seating for 1. Not normally an issue however on our honeymoon was not ideal. We were then moved to another room set up for 2 adults which was much nicer. However showers in both rooms were filthy. Had calcium build up that blocked water holes and you could pull little calcium worms out of the shower heads. Bathrooms were dull and dusty. Hot water was an issue kept running cold for periods of time. Baths were okay, good size and comfortable. Staff were okay however seemed some smart comments when we went to check into our second room. Overall for the money just wasnt the welcoming vibe we were after and we werr very disapointed.

Checking in took over 20mins Rooms are incredibly tired and worn out including the duvet cover all discolored. Beds were like hammocks Turned up and two single beds instead of the king suite booked Felt unclean Staff were okay but spoke very little English and were so slow (apart from Franko, he was great)

Staff are all lovely and very hospitable, always smiling and greeting guests, some staff at the breakfast buffet definitely didn't look like they enjoyed being there but nothing that affected guests experience. Rooms were super nice and cosy, serviced daily; the gas fireplace was a nice touch! Facilities were very good, definitely need a car location wise, not sure if the water taxi to Queenstown was free or not but would be a fun boat ride over the water.

The gym was very disappointing. Only one bench, a set of dumbbells, and a cable machine. Two treadmills and a bike for cardio. Expected a lot better from the Hilton brand.

Lacked some basic facilities in the room

The staff were very accomodating, lake views, water taxi available to go into main Queenstown. We had one of the best massages at the spa here and finished with dinner at the grill which was a great way to end the night!

Beautiful landscape. Lovely walk along the waterfront especially to entertain kids. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Kids loved the pool, it was a good size. We enjoyed food from Stacks. They were very prompt when ordering online. Food was always ready within 15 to 20 minutes. Easy to get a paid parking spot.

Black mould in the showers. It encased most of the shower so it felt yucky to use. The sliding doors on the built in robes were broken so didn't slide across properly. It didn't seem like the floors were vacuumed prior to us arriving as there was some debris on the floors (e.g. cardboard bits from kid's toys). (However, thoroughly appreciated the clear effort housekeepers gave each day to our room).

que esté todo alfombrado teniendo tanta madera al alcance. Que el baño era bastante oscuro sin luz natural, le falta mucha iluminación. No tiene agua fresca y tampoco cafetera, nos costó NZD 16 una botella de agua en el mismo hotel. Fuimos al pub del hotel a las 7:00 pm a comer una hamburguesa y no había pan. El valet parking cuesta NZD 50 al día y los estacionamientos están al frente. Está a 5 minutos del aeropuerto y se siente muchísimo el ruido del despegue y aterrizaje de los aviones hasta las 9:00 pm

Our stay was amazing from the view, cleanliness of the room and the fantastic facilities. Even the little touches eg they had hot chocolate stations set up in the lobby one afternoon free of charge. We will definitely be returning :)

I honestly have nothing bad to say about our stay. We had never been to New Zealand before so it was nice to have an inclusive place to stay with helpful staff made the trip less stressful.

The heating was usually on at night even when we put our room temperature to 19degree in AC mode. Was woken up a number of nights due to this.

Great location. While outside of Queenstown it had easy access to the remarkables ski fields and was still easy to get into Queenstown by water taxi

The village area the Hilton is in is very nice, two good restaurants next door and easy access to town centre with being able to catch water taxi.

I didn’t like that you could hear lots of noise from inside the room.

When you pay nearly $500 a night and then on top of that you get charged an extra $20 just to park in a dirt patch and then $15 for internet it just really annoyed me, cheapskates!

No bond back- I’ve called 5 times no reply, I was told everything was fine and we would get it back 5-10 business days. It’s been 13!! Front desk weren’t much help - we had no coffee maker in our room, brought it up and they told us our room didn’t come with one. It’s on my booking confirmation which I showed them and our friends booked the same room and had one! We were finally given 4 vouchers between the 2 of us which didn’t accommodate for our 10 day stay. Extremely disappointed as this was meant to be my partners birthday luxury holiday.

A few room amenities were a bit cheap and poor. The hot water machine was bad. Tasted like chlorine.

It was clean, had amazing views, and incredible amenities. The staff were also really friendly.

Location lakeside. Great room with wonderful views across the lake and mountains. Breakfast was excellent and staff attentive and welcoming. Large bathroom with excellent facilities including bath tub. Both grill restaurant and Stacks were excellent and the local ferry at the doorstep an easy 20 minutes to Queenstown made it a peaceful, relaxing and enjoyable stay.

A pillow menu would help as we had to ask for extra pillows due to the very soft pillows provided. Staff from front desk and housekeeping were really obliging.

Staff were great, Kim in reservations at the Hotel and the Night manager on reception. The food was great and all the staff were brilliant. In the restaurant the food for dinner was amazing. We had great waitress, Cinta and all of them. The little Italian waiter had some attitude with us and we saw him be rude at the waitresses too, but we did point that out to the restaurant manager

The pool is a great size but very cold. The temperature outside the pool was cold too. Such a shame as we didn't use it the 2nd day for that reason. The signs for directions around the hotel, bedroom corridor ones that told you where bars, restaurants etc were, need to all have arrows on them showing which way to go. The riverside apartments are quite a walk to the amenities

Our stay at the Hilton was wonderful. The rooms were excellent, beautifully maintained, comfortable and with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. However, what truly stood out to us was Adam, who works in the breakfast kitchen. In all the years we have been travelling, we honestly cannot remember meeting a person as kind, warm and genuinely wonderful as him. Adam’s kindness, politeness and willingness to help went far beyond what you would normally expect. He welcomed us every morning with a smile, made us feel genuinely cared for and always went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. His warmth and positive energy made our breakfasts something we actually looked forward to every day. People like Adam are what make a hotel truly memorable. He is an absolute asset to the Hilton, and we sincerely hope the management knows how exceptional he is and how much his attitude and dedication are appreciated. Thank you, Adam, for making our stay even more special. We will remember your kindness long after we leave.

Every thing was perfect.

The only thing i would say needs to be improved is the TV's. Unable to access net flix or you tube was disappointing. But the views of mountains took your attention away from that.🙂
