V Hotel Lavender

The location is great, especially if you prefer to use the MRT. It’s just a few metres away, and there are plenty of food stalls nearby.

The shower’s a bit tricky to switch between hot and cold water, especially if you’re only after a warm one. On the bright side, we’ve got a massive swimming pool, but it’s a bit too deep for the little ones. Hopefully, they’ll have a smaller section below 1 meter deep.

Fantastic location, washing machine/driers

Rooms were grey and depressing. No side lamps for softer lighting. Water filter machine had lack of instructions on how to work it. Walls were thin and you could hear hairdryers and people talking. Had an eggy odour in the room.

Rooms are a bit small. It was difficult to open 2 big suitcases.

The room was comfortable for one person and the proximity to the train station was elite! Literally above the lavender mrt which made moving around very easy

The shower was super small, like a literal box! If you are a fairly large person you will struggle with this but otherwise the other facilities were good

The air-conditioning doesn't seem to work well.

Great location. Very close to railway station. Very comfortable beds. Close to multiple food halls.

Cost a bit more than I had realized. Getting hot water for a tea or coffee was tricky. They had a weird machine that was difficult to work.

Mainly the location and good value for money

The cabinets had molds and it reeks off the whole room. The bathroom smelt off as well, it seemed as if the smell was coming out of the drainage. The other room we had booked had a really bad smell as well. Definitely the molds from the cabinet.

A very strategic location—situated right above an MRT station, with a food court below. The price is very reasonable given what you get. It isn't a luxury hotel, but it has everything you need. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Since it is an affordable hotel, it is understandable that the bathroom isn't very spacious. Also, the air conditioning is very cold—perfect if you enjoy a chilly atmosphere—though the room does get quite cold.

The Hotel is placed at a very good location. Every attraction is around 25-30 max minutes from the hotel. MRT is just besides the hotel, hence travel becomes very convenient. There are lot of food courts in and around the hotel within walking distance of about hardly a minute. Infact few attractions are at a walking distance of 15-20 odd minutes from this place. The staff was good and enaured every request is catered to.

Considering the cost, hotel should have had a decent gym. The gym is very small and there are hardly any weights. There are cardio machines and a cable machine but no handles to perform exercises.

Good variety of food for breakfast

The hair dryer was awkward to use. The fridge could have been under the table instead of inside the cupboard.

Great location. Easy access from airport on MRT even for first time visitors to Singapore. Staff at hotel very friendly and helpful. Appreciated being given a late check-out and being able to store our bags before late flight.

Restaurant for breakfast needs more gluten free options like bread and cereal

The location and cleanliness of the room. The station is literally under the hotel so very convenient and a lot of fast food around the hotel.

1. The rooms were very small.. I have never stayed in a room this small. 2. The cutlery was not clean and when I asked about it, they said room service is unavailable as I checked in around 8pm. 3. The rooms were super warm and took an hour to cool down

Location was perfect. MRT is just downstairs. Food around the area. Bee Cheng, Old Chang Kee, a food court, etc. Very convenient area.

The bathroom had a slight smell from the drain. Maybe the exhaust wasn't strong enough? That was the only thing. We just kept the bathroom door closed at all times.

Infelizmente a casa de banho tem um cheiro forte a esgoto, o que obriga a manter a porta constantemente fechada. O restaurante do hotel está situado numa área aberta, com pássaros a incomodar constantemente. Pequeno almoço com pouca variedade de alimentos para clientes ocidentais.

The room was superb. Roomy, clean, modern, quiet, comfortable.

Housekeeping don't provide hand towels. That's a first for us.

The hotel had easy access to the train via a lift a few feet away.which was fantastic as we used it every day to go out. Breakfast was served in a lovely indoor/ outdoor area near the pool area. Staff were friendly and helpful. A great twin room. Would definitely stay again. Great value, excellent location.

l'Hotel si trova in ottima posizione, accanto alla Metro Lavender che permette di raggiungere i maggiori centri d'attrazione in breve. Le camere sono ben organizzate con armadio, cassaforte, frigorifero, scrivania, seppur piccole risultano piu' grandi rispetto alla media di Singapore, i letti sono grandi e comodi, la biancheria viene cambiata tutti i giorni, buona la pulizia, ci sono i prodotti da bagno e i kit.

l'hotel e' molto grande con via-vai di gente a tutte le ore, gli ascensori sembrano pullman. la colazione e' terribile, viene allestita una terrazza con vaschette di cibo pessimo, niente brioche o simili, tavoli sporchi e piccioni che volano, le signore passano a pulire con lo spazzettone e raccolgono gli avanzi di tutto quello che rimane ingiro costa 15 dollari.

We loved the Location! We had fantastic accessibility to MRT and food options plus groceries, etc. The front desk people were totally awesome and pool are was very nice.

WiFi was very weak, pillows weren’t good, stairways were dirty and not very functional. Need to clean under the beds at least sometime.
